"I felt like I won the lottery when I joined American Idol two years ago, but I feel like now is the best time to leave IDOL," said Kara, 39. "I am very proud to have been associated with American Idol – it has truly been an amazing experience. I am grateful to FOX, FremantleMedia and 19 Entertainment, as well as the cast, crew and contestants, for all they have given to me. I look forward to my next challenge, and want to thank everyone who has supported me. All the best to everyone on Season 10!" Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler are rumored to join the judges’ table.  |

The 24-year-old British actor would begin filming in November in New York, according to Deadline. Ledge tells the story of a female psychologist and a former NYPD officer (Worthington) who threatens to end his life by jumping off of a hotel ledge. Meanwhile, the officer’s brother (Bell) is planning a heist at a jewelry store just across the street.  |

Her husband, pro hockey player Mike Comrie, signed a one-year contract with the Pittsburgh Penguins worth $500,000 (substantially less than the $1.25 million he earned last season with the Edmonton Oilers). Why? Mike’s agent Ritch Winter says that his client agreed to sign because he believed it would help the team. What a good guy! "I think the biggest thing for me is that I’m excited to join a team that has some great players. Hopefully I can come in and complement them and be a guy that can help score and create some depth," Mike shared. "I’m excited. it was definitely a hockey decision. There’s times in your career where you make a decision — I wanted to go to a great team and be a part of an organization like Pittsburgh and be able to compete for a Stanley Cup." Less than a month ago, Hilary, 22, and Mike, who turns 30 on Sept. 11, got married at a private residence in Santa Barbara, Calif.  |

The 20-year-old Slumdog Millionaire star was joined by British Airways Chief Executive Willie Walsh as they celebrate the plane’s first trip to Mumbai, India. Last month, Dev spoke out against the struggles that Asian actors face in Hollywood. “Asian actors tend not to be sent Hollywood scripts that are substantial or challenging,” Dev told the Mail. “I’m likely to be offered the roles of a terrorist, cab driver and smart geek. The 49-year-old actor signed autographs as he left the restaurant with his sweetheart. George and Elisabetta also visited Ago back in June! FYI: The American, George’s latest film, is in theaters this weekend! In the movie, he plays an assassin hiding out in Italy for one last assignment.
