J-Woww Says Her Biggest Regret on the Show is Fighting with Sammi Sweetheart Posted: 19 Feb 2011 03:14 PM PST
“I actually regret the fights that I did get in with Sam because I was in the same position she was a few years ago… I had a boyfriend lie and cheat, and I did not believe my girlfriends when they told me,” J-Woww said on Sirus radio’s The Morning Mash Up! Hold up. Which, of all J-Woww and Sammi’s fights, were started by J-Woww? It sure is nice of her to say she regrets them, but she never purposefully began a fight with her. Let’s review: Although many hold the whole note issue from season 2 against Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and J-woww, I could only commiserate. I, too, have been in an awkward situation when I knew I had to tell one of my friends something that would hurt another friend. There’s no easy way to deal with that situation, and I think the note was the only idea the girls could come up with. They wanted to tell Sammi of Ronnie Ortiz-Magro’s wrong-doings, but didn’t want to lose Ronnie as a friend. Maybe the note idea was a little passive-aggressive and not well thought-out, but at least the girls went out of their way to warn Sammi, while the other house-mates didn’t try to get involved. Sammi thought the note was an example of the girls taking Ronnie’s side, and, although she knew what the note said was true, felt like Ronnie was the only one she could trust in the house, and became even more co-dependent on him, acquiring the nickname “Samron.” A physical fight between J-woww and Sammi takes place, but is luckily broken up before too much damage could be done. Sammi and Ronnie left Miami without saying goodbye to J-woww. On the season 3 premiere, Ronnie and Sammi are the first ones to arrive in the house. It just so happens that J-woww is the next to arrive (good timing, producers.) Sammi and J-woww steer clear of another, until the nighttime, when Sammi laughs in Deena Cortese’s (the new girl) face and Deena calls Sammi a C-U-Next-Tuesday. J-woww defends her girlfriends against Sammi, and the two get in another slapping/hair-pulling fight. When Ronnie and J-woww make up a few episodes later, Sammi becomes furious at Ronnie, but eventually realizes she needs to make nice with her house-mates. She apologizes to J-woww at the bar, saying, “Sorry for, you know, a lot” and J-woww accepts the apology, tells her she loves her, and gives her a hug. At least to me, it seems that Sammi’s suspicion of J-woww and Ronnie’s relationship, and anger towards the house-mates in general, is to blame for her fights with J-woww. Not that Sammi doesn’t have a reason to be angry; she was basically pitted against the girls in the house and had only her unpredictable boyfriend to contend with. Hopefully, if the last few episodes prove anything, Sammi and Ronnie will end their unhealthy relationship, and Sammi will continue strenghthening her relationship with the females in the house.
