Rihanna Is Sick, But Won't Cancel Grammy Performance + Deion Sandars Struggling To Sell $21 Million Mansion

"S&M" singer Rihanna is reportedly battling a mix of laryngitis and bronchitis, but she's not letting that stop her from performing at the Grammys on Sunday.  Get deets on Rihanna's plans inside and see what Deion Sanders wants to sell you for $21 million dollars. 

 

As they say in showbiz, the show must go on.  Although pop star Rihanna is ill with laryngitis and bronchitis, she is still expected to appear on the Grammys with Eminem tomorrow.  She pulled out of a recent performance for a cancer reserach group two days ago but was spotted at rehearsals on Friday for the 53rd annual awards.

"Rihanna will perform with Eminem, as scheduled.  She“Rihanna is on steroids and antibiotics to get her as prime time ready as possible for Sunday night” a friend told RadarOnline.com.

The source continued, 

“Rihanna doesn't want to let Eminem down, but he would totally understand if she couldn't perform. The duo are scheduled to rehearse again on Saturday at Staples, but she probably won't be using her voice a lot at that time, she is saving it for Sunday night."

There is speculation that either Eminem and Rihanna or the Aretha Franklin tribute will be the opening act for the award show, which is always a tightly kept secret.

"Neon" Deion Sandars and his wife Pilar are having a hard time moving their large estate in Texas.   The  9,122-square-foot house in Prosper, Texas, is listed at $21 million although an  appraisal of the house said it is only worth $5.6 million.

Here are some of the amenities included with the Mediterranean-style house:

• The house sits on 109 acres, and features a football field;
• It also has an indoor basketball court and a bowling alley;
• 13 bathrooms;
• a 12-acre lake;
• nine covered parking spaces;
• five fireplaces;
• three dining rooms;
• two indoor pools.

Sanders is also selling a Dallas penthouse for $7 million.

FAN FAB: Ciara Takes A Lucky Fan On A Shopping Spree And Fantasy Photoshoot

Proving you don't have to be a Kardashian to hang with Ciara, she recently flew one of her stans to LA for a fantasy photoshoot and a chance to see her perform in concert. See the pics inside...

 

Myspace and Wendy’s held a contest for a lucky fan to meet Ciara and she chose a young lady named Dominique.

 

 

Dominique' prize was a flight out to Los Angeles with Ciara for a shopping spree and a make-over followed by a photoshoot.

 

Then Ciara took Dominique to watch her perform with the Black Eyed Peas.  Lucky Stan!

Gabrielle Union was spotted at Christian Siriano's Fall 2011 fashion show.

Amanda Garrigus and J. Alexander were seen at the Rebecca Minkoff show.

 

Tracy Reese was at the Bloomingdale's Mad About Fashion Show.

Kanye West attended the Best New Menswear Designers in America Fall 2011 Collections presented by GQ.


 

He ran into pals Aziz Ansari, Kid Cudi and GQ honcho Jim Moore.

Eve attended the Rebecca Minkoff show.

And Taraji P. Henson hosted an event for PETA.

Sheryl Lee Ralph attended the Tadashi Shoji Show.

Kwame Jackson attended the same show.

Garcelle Beauvais, Maggie Rizer, Louise Roe, Michelle Trachtenberg and Nicola Peltz all attended the Rebecca Taylor show.

Black Eyed Peas Host Peapod Benefit + Sneak Peak Clips From Season Four Of Kimora's "Life in the Fab Lane"

Last night, Will.i.am and company put on their seventh annual benefit concert, raising funds for the musicians scholarship program. The party filled up with more than 1000 guests and brought out celebs like Ciara, Bobby Brown, and many others. Plus we have preview clips from Kimora's show when you read on...

The Black Eyed Peas hosted their Peapod Benefit Concert last night at The Music Box in Hollywood, California. The event was focused on raising money for music education. The event attracted some of YBF stars.

 

Bobby, his fiancé Alicia Etheridge, and their leather bombers hit up the event.

What is Cedric the Entertainer wearing? Bow tie and a bubble vest with fur interior?

Ciara and her smoking hot body hit the green carpet in an Emilio Pucci jersey number with cut out details.

Her body is SICK!!

Actor/comedian Craig Robinson came out to show support.

 

Looks like Omarion threw on everything in his closet.

 

Earth, Wind and Fire were also there.

Vanessa Simmons rocked a flirty spring outfit.

Cutie Tristan Wilds smiled for the cameras.

Actress Porscha Coleman really needs a stylist to update her wardrobe.

The Black Eyed Peas took a second to pose for a flick together.

They even invited Bobby Brown on stage.

BABY MAMA FOOLERY! Rapper J-Kwon Jailed For Child Support & Child Wasn't His!

Last year, rapper J-Kwon known for his 2004 smash hit "Tipsy," had the media in a frenzy when he went missing and no one could find him. The St. Louis rapper later resurfaced and he is now speaking out about his disappearance last March. Apparently, he was locked up for failure to pay child support. Read on to find out what really happened...

J-Kwon, real name Jerrell Jones, called St Louis radio station 89.9 FM "The People's Station" to confirm that he had been making child support payments of $2,500 a month for seven years for a child he found out wasn't his.

“I blame my absence from the game on this situation. Just as I was getting my first million dollar check a girl came to me and said she was pregnant…I bought her a house cause she's from the hood too, I let her stay at the house. I guess while I'm on tour she's taking paper work from the courts and disposing of them…The payment ended up being $2,500 a month…This kid looked like someone else, the test results came back in 24 hours and I am not the father…I don't feel any better or any worse about the situation, I'm just happy to have my life back.”

SMDH! He also said that he plans on starting a foundation that will help other men in similar predicaments so they won't get tricked and also end up in jail .

"I'm gonna start a foundation just for that, that's crazy that the law helps someone scheme you for this long. A) You're young. B) Your successful and C) They don't want you with it no way."

Damn homie.  People really need to learn their rights. Isn't there a law or requirement to establish paternity before child support payments start. Either way. Shame on that chick for scheming like that.

2011 Grammy Roundup: Jennifer Hudson, Ne-Yo, Keri Hilson And Other Celebs Flock To L.A. For Grammy Festivities

YBF folks have been in L.A. all week preparing for the Grammy Awards this weekend. Celebs have been kicking off this Pre-Grammy weekend attending parties, gifting suites, private shows, and events honoring their icons. We have pics of after the jump...

On Thursday, The GRAMMY Foundation hosted  "Word Revolution: A Celebration of the Evolution of Hip Hop" — the 13th Annual GRAMMY Foundation Music Preservation Project — at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre. Various artists came out to support the event. 

Rapper Phife Dawg of A Tribe Called Quest stopped by.

Vin Rock, Treach, and DJ Kay Gee of Naughty By Nature posed with Musiq Soulchild on the red carpet.

Chrisette Michelle was there looking cute and causal- in her fitted jeans, platform shoes, and feather earring.

Dee-jays Kid Capri and Jazzy Jeff came out to support the show.

Lil Mama looked happy to get an invitation to this event. Hope she doesn't hop on stage this year.

Marsha Ambrosius looked slimmed and trim as she posed for the cameras.

Mc Lyte stopped by in her gold studded leather jacket.

Tv personality Shaun Robinson looked pretty in her fitted black minidress.

Paul Wall and his new fit body hit the red carpet. Can barely recognize him now.

 

Over at the Staples Center, celebs arrived for various events that were being held.

Ne-Yo and Cedric The Enetertainer posed for a pic together at the Westwood One Radio Remotes event.

Keri Hilson signed some autographs and her makeup looked great.

Mya was also there in a colorful spring mini dress. Cute color combination, but not really feeling the hair.

Sexy couple Nicole Ari Parker and her hubby Boris Kodjoe attended the Grammy Gift Lounge.

Lol nice ride. Wonder if that was part of the free swag he copped at the gifting suite.

Yolonda Adams was spotted snagging some free goodies at the Body Show booth.

Jennifer Hudson took a sec to pose for a flick while signing autographs at the MusiCares booth.

Singer Seal was also there.

Singers Yolonda Adams, Martina McBride, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Hudson, and Florence Welch all took to the stage to rehearse for their anticipated tribute to Aretha Franklin.

Over at the national Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (NARAS), Jordin Sparks posed with producer Jimmy Jam and NARAS President Neil Nortnow.

Rick Fox and his girl Eliza Dushku attended the P&E Wing Event.

Musician Esperanza Spalding performed at the Grammy Jazz Ensemble Public Performance held at the Spaghettini Jazz Club.

         

Amber Rose was spotted shopping for a sexy Grammy dress this weekend. Wonder if Wiz Kahlifa is going to be her date.

Prince Throws Shade At Diddy In LA + Nicki Minaj Goes Floral With "Pink Collection" For Valentine's Day + The Game & Swizz Beatz on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!"

Rumor has it that Prince threw a little shade at Diddy during an Essence Music Event in LA.  Get deets on the shade plus check out Nicki Minaj's 1800-Flowers hustle for Valentine's Day and watch The Game and Swizz Beatz perform on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!"

Rumor has it that Prince wasn't overtly friendly toward Diddy at an Essence Music event honoring Janelle Monae, whom was an opening act for one of Prince's recent "Welcome 2 America"shows at Madison Square Garden.

According to a source at the party, Prince and Diddy were seated at adjacent booths at the Playhouse Hollywood nightclub.  And get this...Diddy, who co-hosted the event, had the larger booth.

Not to be outdone, Prince had his custom decorated his VIP booth with a velvet rope and four security guards.  He was joined by his date American Ballet Theater dancer Misty Copeland.

During the party, Diddy approached Prince, and with the velvet rope between them, he gave Prince a handshake and a hug.

The insider told the NY Daily News, 

"You could see that Diddy wanted to hang out, but Prince was very cold. He didn't have his security take down the velvet rope."

One music-industry insider, said that Diddy

"isn't Prince's kind of guy.  He's a lot of flash and dash, and very bragadocious. Prince, believe it or not, is real down to earth. He isn't about all that flossing."

 

I'm not sure I can see Prince being down to earth, but I can surely see Diddy's ego being bruised that Prince didn't sweat him.

Jamie Foxx Involved In Scuffle At Usher's Concert + Jennifer Hudson Talks Weight Loss And Family To Oprah

Last night Jamie Foxx got into an altercation at the Belvedere's Usher concert.  Come inside to get the deets plus the highlights from Jennifer Hudson's Oprah interview...

 

According to TMZ, someone who was also in the special VIP section at Avalon for the Usher concert took a “pot shot” at Mr. Foxx, who responded by getting a good punch in himself before security broke up the fight.  Jamie and his crew were then escorted out of the concert.

So what happened?  It was likely a scuffle between friends and has already be mended.  Outside the show, Damien Dante Wayans, the nephew of Damon and Keenan Ivory, witnessed the fight and said it was just “a little altercation…between two friends.”

He added that while we are talking about the fight, the two friends have probably made up already and gone on with their lives.  SMH...I guess.

Jennifer Hudson talked to Oprah yesterday about slimming down to a size 6 from a size 16 and overcoming family tragedy.

With her new album I Remember Me on the way, JHud recently told Oprah she lost 80 pounds through Weight Watchers.

"After being pregnant for I felt like forever ... you want your body back. And then I realized when I was pregnant I wore these same clothes before I was pregnant. So what does that say? I don’t really like this. Most of all I wanted my body back, so I made up my mind while I was pregnant."

Jenny went on Weight Watchers with 75 family member and friends and together they lost almost 1,000 pounds of fat.

Oprah also asked Jen how she dealt with healing from the October 2009 shooting of her mother, brother 7-year-old nephew.

Jen said,

 "I don't even know if it has started yet. It's such a shocking thing and it's a lot to take in. It's like, is this real? Did this really happen? It's hard to put it in sync with reality."

 

She went onto say that the birth of her son in August 2009 helped her during the worst times.

"Their spirit was saying: 'You've got to keep going.' And I try to do everything to say, 'Will my mother like this? Will she be pleased? Will she be proud of that?' ... I don't think I could ever come close to be the kind of mother that my mother was to me, but I try to use that as an example and be there for him the way she was there for me."

Alicia Keys was spotted doing a little retail therapy in the Meatpacking district in NYC yesterday evening looking stylish and comfortable.

 

Twelve time Grammy winner Alicia Keys will be featured in Hewlett Packard commericials during the Grammys this Sunday. HP is doing a series of TV spots and A. Keys will feature in the first commercial.

Meanwhile in L.A.,  Drake and his mother was spotted leaving their hotel in L.A. along with his entourage in tow. Drake is perfoming for the Grammys on Sunday, so he's spending some quality time with mom-dukes and relaxing before the festivities on Sunday.

 

In case you're wondering why Drake looks a little different, it's because he's growing his hair out for an upcoming movie role. He tells Hip Hollywood, "It's partly for a role in a film that I'm doing, so I started it for that reason because I didn't want to be in the movie looking the same, but then as it was growing, I realized how weird my head looks. I realized how weird-shaped my head is. And now, it looks a lot better because I have hair. So I think I'll leave it like this for a little bit."
