PERFORMANCE FAB: NIVEA Girl Rihanna Rocks Paris

Rihanna unbraided her ponytail and went for long red tresses last night for a performance at a swanky hotel in Paris.  See pics of Rihanna performing for NIVEA's 100th anniversary inside.

 

The skincare giant NIVEA celebrated the company's 100th anniversary last night with its anniversary spokeswoman Rihanna in Paris. 



The "S&M" singer performed for a selected group of guests at the Grand Hotel Intercontinental.

She wore a white dual ruffled eyelet dress that I'm not feeling in the least bit.  Does nothing for her figure.

On the red carpet she posed with Sandrine Corman, a popular tv personality in France and tons of fans.


She performed her tracks like "California King Bed" and more inside.

 



Rihanna was recently announced as a performer for the "TODAY" Show's summer concert series on May 27.  In semi-unreleated news, Chris Brown will also perform for the series on July 15.

BODY FAB: Ciara Dishes On Keeping Her Famous Abs And Legs Fit

Ciara is known for her six-pack abs and her long legs, but not many people know how she maintains them.  She talked to "Entertainment Tonight" and Women's Health recently about how she keeps a killer figure.

While being honored for her charitable work, teaching young girls about safe sex, at The Candie's Foundation 2011 Event To Prevent Benefit, Ciara dished on keeping a fabulous body and healthy lifestyle. 

When it comes to working out, she usually puts in an hour five to six times a week in the gym.  And she watches her food intake saying,  "85 percent of it is what you eat, and 15 percent of it is how you work out."

And when training, she eats five small meals a day and avoides salt at all costs. "No salt, low salt. It's strict, but when I follow those rules, I see results."

But her biggest body secret is dancing.  She says "Dancing--however you do it, even if it's in your living room--is a great workout."

So there you have it.  If you are still trying to get your summer body together, dance to some Ciara in your living room. 

 

 

YBF KIDDIE PLAY DATE: Nahla Aubrey & Jax, Jaid Nilon Kick It With Halle & Garcelle Beauvais

Playdate time!  YBF kid Nahla Aubrey hit up Coldwater Canyon with her playdates Jax and Jaid Nilon--twin sons to actress Garcelle Beauvais.  Seems like Halle Berry and Garcelle had a little pre-Mother's Day mommy-and-me time with the kids.

Oprah's "OWN" Ousts Christina Norman As CEO, Searches For Ratings Boost

Oprah Winfrey's OWN has a new CEO.  Get the deets on the employment shakeups on the struggling network inside.....

It was recently announced that OWN's CEO Christina Norman will soon depart the network after 2 years on the job, and will be replaced by Discovery Communications COO Peter Liguori.  Also interesting to note, The OWN channel is who replaced the Discovery Health channel in the first place. 

The employment shakeup comes as sources report that OWN continues to struggle with its ratings and is burning through piles of money.  

In a statement, OWN described Peter's appointment as "a transition from a launch phase to a more long-term focus on business and creative strategy, development and execution." The statement went on to point out that Christina did lead a "successful launch of the multi-platform joint venture."

Oprah released a statement about the move saying:

"I want to thank Christina for her important accomplishments, incredible passion and many sacrifices in helping to launch the network.  With the final taping of "The Oprah Winfrey Show" only a few weeks away, I will soon be able to devote my full energies to OWN.

This is a natural point of transition, and I am confident that Peter, as an integral part of the launch of OWN, will be a terrific partner for me going forward. He is one of the smartest, most creative executives in media, and I look forward to his leadership as we build our development slate and work toward the launch of 'Oprah's Next Chapter.' Over the remainder of the year, Peter and I will work together to recruit a permanent CEO for OWN's next phase of growth."

 

Christina, who spent 17 years as the President of MTV Networks before moving to the OWN Network, had this to say:

"Joining OWN was a great opportunity, and launching it successfully and drawing more than 67 million viewers is one of my proudest achievements.


My thanks to Oprah and David for entrusting me with this brand and giving me the opportunity to launch OWN. As I move on to my next challenge, I am confident the strong foundation we have built will position the network to achieve great things.

OWN will soon add talk show host Rosie O'Donnell to the lineup hoping this will stir up some interest.  Do you have a favorite show on the channel yet?  I'm personally loving the "Season 25: Behind The Scenes" episodes.  I've learned that Lady O is just as much of a lush as me.  Love that!

BABY FAB: Former MTV/BET Host Ananda Lewis Shows Off Her New Baby Boy!

How precious!  New mom and former BET/MTV host, Ananda Lewis, is gushing about new mommyhood.  She took to her Twitter to let her fans know she recently gave birth to a new baby boy--and did it without any drugs and at home.

We haven't REALLY heard from Ananda in years.  But she gave the twitter world a bouncing baby boy update on her life today:

Took me 9 3/4 months to grow a baby, 14 hours of labor and 18 minutes of pushing (at home & drug-free) to get him into the world, and every minute of the rest of my life to kiss on him NONSTOP! I love being a mommy!! Looking forward to my 1st Mother's Day with my kid!

 

Her Twitter profile reads: MAXIMIZE YOUR MIND!! I loved BET, MTV, an almost everything I've done on tv, but MOTHERHOOD is the best job EVER!! I finally feel complete :) WARRIOR WOMAN!!

MOVIE FAB: Original Cast Returning For "Waiting To Exhale" Sequel! + The First Official "Charlie's Angels" Photo

Angela Bassett's latest movie Jumping The Broom is in theaters today, and now we can tell you something about her next project, Waiting To Exhale...the sequel!  Also, see the first official photo of the new Charlie's Angels.  Deets inside.....

 

While on the red carpet promoting Jumping The Broom, Angela Bassett talked about her next project, a sequel to Waiting To Exhale.  The actress confirmed that in the sequel, "Getting to Happy," Whitney Houston, Loretta Devine, and Lela Rochon will all reprise their roles. 

She said,

"[Terry McMillian] wrote 'Getting to Happy' and she's written the screenplay."  The she added that "Loretta, Lela, [and] Whitney," are all on-board.

She also confirmed that Forest Whitaker will return as director. But Waiting To Exhale isn't the only great Black film returning to the movies. You will soon see remakes of Juice and Sparkle on the big screen as well.

 

Also......

 

We have the first official photo of "Charlie's Angels" starring YBF chick Annie Ilonzeh.  The ABC one-hour drama will also star Minka Kelly and Rachael Taylor.

The plot is set in Miami and Alfred Gough and Miles Millar wrote the script and are executive producing with Drew Barrymore.  Can't wait for this one.  It's supposedly set to air this summer.  But the official airdate will be announced the week of May 16th.

EXCLUSIVE: DRAMA ON THE "SINGLE LADIES" SET! Stacey Dash & LisaRaye CATFIGHT & Almost Come To BLOWS!

When you're extra grown and extra beautiful, you can still be ugly as all get-out.  A source on the set of Queen Latifah's new scripted VH1 show, "Single Ladies," exclusively tells YBF that co-stars LisaRaye McCoy (44) and Stacey Dash (45) have been in a nonstop catfight on set!  And we've got the inside deets on how Stacey almost caught a Player's Club style beat down from Ms. McCoy.

You already know two divas like Stacey Dash and LisaRaye McCoy--who have banked off their good looks to get mediocre roles after their primes--were going to butt heads at some point on the set of their new show.

The two "Single Ladies" have been fighting like catty teens on the set.  And it's all Stacey's fault! Our inside source tells us it almost came to blows yesterday while filming.  And now, the LisaRaye and Stacey are resorting to sticking notes on the doors of their dressing room trailers calling each other names.  Lawd! 

Here's the letter we received from our source on the tv show set:

I am an actress and I have the privilege of working on the set of "Single Ladies" which is a great new show coming to VH1 in May. The cast consist of Stacey Dash and LisaRaye. I have always been a fan of Stacey Dash but after being on set and seeing Stacey I have to say beauty means nothing after seeing how she acts. She's antisocial and mean. She doesn't speak to anyone and as soon as the scene is done she immediately takes off to her trailer until the next take.

I think she's a good actress but who knew her personality was so horrible! last night she and LisaRaye got into it big time. Now we all know that LisaRaye don't take no shit and while on set, Stacey Dash wasn't doing her part correct on set. When the director came to correct her (Stacey), and LisaRaye agreed, she stuck her hand up to her giving her the hand!!! Yes Girl! I just knew Lisaraye was going to to punch her ass like she did the girl in Player's Club! lol LisaRaye was cool about it but let her know to get her Mother Fucking hand out of her face!

Girl you should have been there! lol NO ONE seems to like her on set not to mention there was a note left on her door that proves what i'm saying...

Interestingly, tabloids are reporting that Stacey has indeed been wilin' out on set and refused at one point to not come back to the set unless LisaRaye "got her ass kicked":

Dash, 45, had a bit of a meltdown while filming a new show, Single Ladies, produced by Queen Latifah, according to Us Weekly. "No, I ain't coming back unless that b*tch gets her as* kicked!," Dash said this week as she ran off the set, referring to one of the show's other stars, LisaRaye McCoy.

A source told the magazine that the outburst was unexpected and unprovoked. "It was an intimate dinner party scene so everyone was in cocktail dresses," the source said. "Stacey was screaming and running around in thousand dollar Louboutins!"

Pretty definitely aint everything Stacey.  But God surely doesn't like ugly....

"Single Ladies" debuts on VH1 May 30th.

A Transgendered Prostitute Claims Knowledge Of LL Cool J & Eddie Murphy's Sex Lives

It's time for another celebrity tell-all book and this one is sure to raise a few eyebrows.  Toni Newman, who began life as a man before moving to NY and becoming a transgendered prostitute,  claims to have inside knowledge about the sexual lives of LL Cool J, Eddie Murphy and Hot 97's Mister Cee.  Deets inside...

 

In her new book, I Rise, The Transformation of Toni Newman, the author talks about the journey from
being born a little boy in North Carolina to working the New York streets as a "lady of the night." In the juicy stories, Toni talks about alleged encounters with rapper LL Cool J, comedian Eddie Murphy and Hot 97 DJ Mister Cee.

Here are some excerpts:

"LL Cool J was a onetime encounter and very enjoyable." 

"Mister Cee picked me up and many others for the sole purpose of
receiving oral sex. Mister Cee was obsessive about receiving good head,
and he was very verbal and very generous if you performed up to his
expectations."

"I never had an encounter with Eddie Murphy, but he was visiting 14th
Street late at night. I know at least five transgender (girls) who did have sex
with Eddie Murphy. He was interested in the girl with the biggest male
genitalia."

 

SMH.....for what it's worth, Toni claims to have taken a polygraph test, administered by former secret service agent, Joseph Paolella, and she passed.  Well-- her publicist and persons associated with the book say she passed.
