Vanessa Minnillo Lachey Tried Out For X Factor Hosting Gig Posted: 29 Dec 2011 01:15 PM PST What if Vanessa Lachey hosted X Factor instead of Brit Steve Jones? Can you picture it? Well, it almost happened! Lachey says that she tried out for the gig back in the day before they decided to go with Jones. She said that following on her audition: They went with a British guy [Steve Jones]. You can't get more polar opposite, so I am OK with that. Now if the host was a brunette girl in her early 30s, I would be like 'wait a minute! Jones' performance as X Factor host was bleh. His future with the show? Also bleh. Same for Nicole Scherzinger, though her performance was just awful. But Lachey is ok if Jones does get canned. She landed the co-host spot on ABC's Wipeout. Do U think Vanessa Lachey would have been better than Steve Jones?

Not good! We have a feeling that this one is a whole lot messier and a whole lot less 'amicable' than what it appears! But hey! During a recent interview, Anne Hathaway had a lot to say about The Dark Knight Rises! Here are some HIGHlights: "Gotham City is full of grace. You look at Heath's performance as the Joker, there was a lot of madness there but there was also a grace and he had a code there. There's a lot of belief and codes of behavior in Gotham and my character has one, too. A lot of the way she moves and interacts with people is informed by her worldview. Chris has given us all such complex, defined, sophisticated worldviews that it's just a matter of doing your homework and getting underneath the character's skin." More from Anne on her Catwoman role: "I really got into the comics after I was cast and I like that when she made her first appearance she meets Bruce Wayne and says 'Let go of me or I'll claw your eyes out,' and he says, 'Careful, claws in or papa spank,' so I'm glad we've come a long way since then. I'm not saying anything against Bob Kane, though." And more from Anne about her role: "What's come before doesn't limit or even affect this new version. It doesn't affect me because each Catwoman – and this is true in the comics as well – she is defined by the context of the Gotham City created around her. Catwoman is so influenced by Gotham and whoever is creating Gotham at the time. Michelle Pfeiffer's Catwoman was informed by Tim Burton's Gotham and Eartha Kitt was informed by Adam West's Gotham. You have to live in whatever the reality of the world is and whatever Gotham is." Sooooo exciting! Kelly Clarkson Receives LOTS Of Twitter Hate For Supporting Ron Paul! Posted: 29 Dec 2011 10:20 AM PST That's probably the last time Kelly tweets her political beliefs! Yikes! Earlier today, Kelly Clarkson wrote the following tweet via whosay: I love Ron Paul. I liked him a lot during the last republican nomination and no one gave him a chance. If he wins the nomination for the Republican party in 2012 he's got my vote. Too bad he probably won't. After receiving a bunch of hateful tweets in response, Kelly wrote the following message: I am really sorry if I have offended anyone. Obviously that was not my intent. I do not support racism. I support gay rights, straight rights, women's rights, men's rights, white/black/purple/orange rights. I like Ron Paul because he believes in less government and letting the people (all of us) make the decisions and mold our country. That is all. Out of all of the Republican nominees, he's my favorite. And after EVEN MORE hate, Kelly tweeted the following: Man my eyes have been opened to so much hate tonight. If y'all ever disagree with something I say please don't feel the need to attack me. I will listen to what you say and any articles or viewpoints you have when you say it with respect. Being hateful is not a healthy way to get people to see or hear you. I was raised to respect people and their decisions and beliefs and I hope you will grant me the same decency. If you don't agree with me simply unfollow me. It's really that easy. I hope you don't because I would love the chance to hear what you have to say but if you're so blinded by hate you can't seek peace and progress then that is your unfortunate prerogative.
