| Posted: 05 Apr 2011 11:20 AM PDT Quite a run she's having! First, Miranda Lambert takes home four awards at the ACM's last weekend, and NOW she's got a TV series in the works! Lambert will be working with ABC Family on an hourlong scripted series, which will be based on her childhood, and will "center on a Texas family where the kids help their PI parents in solving cases." Wowsa! You must have had quite the childhood, Miranda! The show is currently in early stages of development, and it's being written by Memphis Beat writer Scott Kaufer. Executive producers include Kaufer, Lambert and her mother Bev, Lambert's manager Marion Kraft, and Aaron Kaplan. Congratulations, Miranda! Under different circumstances, we might not be too excited by the premise…but the fact that it's based on your childhood def adds something to it. Will U check out Miranda Lambert's TV series when it premieres? |

Yesterday, Brad Pitt was spotted in Culver City grabbing a bite to eat and trying to dodge the awaiting paparazzi. However, he was unsuccessful with the latter and thankfully, he doesn't seem too annoyed by it. We're mesmerized! Maybe its better that he doesn't smile like this too often. Hey you two - come up for some air! Remember, the baby needs oxygen too! LOLZ! On Sunday, Kate Hudson was spotted with her son, Ryder, and her boyfriend/baby daddy, Matthew Bellamy, shopping in Buenos Aires. The trio looked like they were having a wonderful time, perusing the stores and taking pictures of their trip. Of course, Matt never strayed to far from his lady's side and onlookers report they were pretty open with the PDA. Sweeeeeet! We're really happy for you! And we love how that baby bump looks on you, Kate! Such a glow about you! P.S. - Isn't just uncanny how much she looks like her mother? Maybe there is third generation gorgeous blonde on the way! | Darren Criss To Return For A Very Potter Threequel?! Yes?! No?! Posted: 05 Apr 2011 09:50 AM PDT Answer: No. Whomp, whomp. Some of you, like us, might know Darren Criss from his previous work before Glee. You might remember him from Eastwick or some of his solo shows he used to do around town. Then again, you might also know him as Harry Potter…as in, the kid who played Harry Potter in the Team Starkid production of A Very Potter Musical. For those of you who don't know, Darren was once a viral sensation when he and this theater troupe from the University of Michigan wrote and starred in a musical adaptation of the book series which became a huge hit, and if we may say so, was very funny. It spawned a sequel shortly before Darren's career took off with Glee and there was hope that a third adaptation would make it's way to Ann Arbor this summer. However, according to the troupe, Darren's schedule is "just too booked" and the group has already started on some other projects without him. C'est la vie! We can understand people's disappointment and the timing would have been perfect to resurrect the show (with the actual Harry Potter movie franchise coming to a close.) Still, you can't hold to big of a grudge on the guy for making it big. This is his moment. He should enjoy it. But hopefully, he doesn't also forget where he came from….that's important too. |
