Word on the American Idol streets (neon, paved with gold) is contestants Casey Abrams and Haley Reinhart have been hooking up: sources have spotted them getting super flirty and sharing one another’s laps. Casey and Haley are hardly the first pair of Idol flingers — contestants have been setting off the rumor alert since Season 1, when Justin Guarini allegedly three-timed behind the scenes. So here they are, the rumored hookups from 10 seasons of Idol.

[Editor's note: In her sex tape, Jessica Sierra says that she and Nikko Smith were hooking up during their season's tour. I officially know too much about this stuff.]

A few months ago, it was announced that Neil Patrick Harris would take the lead role of Robert in the New York Philharmonic’s upcoming production of Stephen Sondheim‘s musical Company. This made perfect sense, as Harris starred as the Balladeer and Lee Harvey Oswald in the 2004 revival of Assassins, and has displayed his musical stylings on How I Met Your Mother and Glee. But one of the celebrities joining him on-stage is a bit of a surprise: Stephen Colbert.

Harris just arrived in New York on April 2 to start the hectic rehearsals for the show, which will run from April 7 to 9. He tweeted a photo of himself and Colbert clowning around, with the caption, Company rehearsals are exhausting madness. Colbert is kigass. (We assume he meant “kick-ass.”)

While Colbert was initially an unexpected choice, he certainly wowed us with his performance of “Friday” last week on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon; his un-Auto-Tuned version made Rebecca Black‘s song sound actually good.

If you love The Shawshank Redemption, you can now go to Ohio and take a tour of locations where the movie was filmed, including the famous tree that Tim Robbins‘ character buries a box of money under. You can’t sit under the tree, though – it’s on private property, and there has been a problem with people swiping sections from the stone wall next to the tree and selling them on eBay. What happened to “take only pictures, leave only footprints,” people?
