The Dos and Don'ts of Drama, with 'Degrassi': Girl Crush Posted: 10 Apr 2011 08:49 AM PDT The one quibble I have with “Chasing Pavements, Part 2″ is that Fiona’s realization that she’s gay seems more added on for the extra drama than when characters in prior seasons came out. Still, the conclusion was a really solid episode, and the subplots — Alli’s math crusade, the strange attraction between Anya and Owen — worked nicely. Now that Fiona’s plotline is wrapped (for now), we can look forward to the last two episodes, where Eli smothers Clare. (Not literally, but he’s definitely become an overbearing boyfriend, and her suggestion that they take a break doesn’t go over well…) Post from: Crushable |
NSFW: Sasha Grey Needs A Drink(ing Game) Posted: 10 Apr 2011 08:05 AM PDT Former porn star Sasha Grey’s new book NEU SEX landed on Crushable’s desk earlier this week, and boy, was that an adventure. An amateur photographer, Grey took pictures throughout her years in the adult film industry, documenting her life between the ages of 18 and 21. NEU SEX, due out on April 11, gathers together these photographs into an artistic-looking romp through Grey’s formative years. And so we thought: What does this book need? A drinking game, that’s what! So break out a bottle of your booze of choice and get your drink on with us to the tune of Sasha Grey. Warning: Nudity ahead, so view at your own risk. 5 Reasons Lindsay Lohan Would Make a Great Victoria Gotti in Upcoming Film Posted: 09 Apr 2011 02:53 PM PDT When I first heard that a movie was being made about the Gotti family, I freaked. I am mildly obsessed with the mafia, having watched The Sopranos and Growing Up Gotti like a dangerous stalker. (I even made eye contact with Gotti’s grandson, Carmine Agnello, in a bar a few years ago, but alas I was not his type, being fair-skinned and, I think, still in high school.) I am also so excited for Mob Wives. So, first it was announced that John Travolta was playing the late John Gotti in the upcoming film, Gotti: Three Generations. Then, it was announced that Lindsay Lohan was being considered to play a younger Victoria Gotti (Victoria is John Gotti’s daughter). Other contenders for the role were Sienna Miller and Blake Lively. Now, Victoria Gotti just announced that the only one she wants to play her is Lindsay Lohan. Why? Let’s examine some similarities between the women: 1. They’re both from Long Island. Victoria was born in Brooklyn and grew up in Howard Beach, but now lives in Old Westbury, Long Island. Lindsay grew up in Merrick and Cold Spring Harbor, both towns in Long Island. 2. Their fathers have been in jail. Victoria’s father, the “Teflon Don” had been convicted of five murders, conspiracy to commit murder, obstruction of justice, illegal gambling, racketeering, tax evasion, extortion, and loansharking and was sentenced to life in prison without parole, until his death. Lindsay’s father, Michael Lohan, was investigated for insider trading, and convicted of criminal contempt of court, because he refused to testify against other brokers. He was sentenced to three years in jail. 3. Both rock the tanned skin/long blond hair look. Victoria’s long tresses are actually real, though. 4. The Lohan and Gotti families are good friends, and apparently, Victoria visits the Lohans a lot. A true Long Island love story. 5. Both have connections to trashy mags: Victoria has written for Star and Lindsay’s often in those magazines.
