Britney Spears & Nicki Minaj Tease A Possible Music Collaboration

Now that the news is officially out that Nicki Minaj is opening for Britney Spears on her upcoming The Femme Fatale Tour this Summer, the ladies had a bit of fun with the fans today on Twitter. The ladies were tweeting back and forth, hinting that they may have some sort of collaboration in the works together. We have NO info on what exactly the ladies may be planning … but the common belief is that they may be working on new music together. Read the tweets below and see what YOU think Britney and Nicki are up to.


Considering how HOT and well-received Britney‘s collaboration with Rihanna on the S&M remix turned out, it makes sense that she would want to work with Nicki. The fact that the ladies are touring together means they will have the PERFECT opportunity to perform any potential music they might have in store for the tour. At the very least, Nicki and Britney will do a remix together … at the most, they’ll record a new song (or songs) for the tour. Either way, I’ll take it! A Britney/Nicki collabo would RULE my world! I can’t wait to find out what Brit & Nick got planned … any guesses? Hopes?

The Cast Of ‘The Facts Of Life’ Reunite At The TV Land Awards

Last weekend the principal cast of The Facts of Life reunited on stage at the 2011 TV Land Awards to collect this year’s Pop Culture Award. Altho we have to wait until this coming weekend to watch the awards show, we do get to check out some photos from the event below … along with a preview of the TV Land Awards courtesy of ABC News. The Facts of Life ladies gave an interview to Good Morning America today and, well, it’s prolly easier if you just watch the clip instead of my explaining it to you.

You take the good, you take the bad, you reunite them merely for the sake of nostalgia and there you have the video from today’s episode of Good Morning America below. In it, The Facts of Life’s principal actresses—Charlotte Rae, Lisa Whelchel, Kim Fields, Mindy Cohn, Nancy McKeon, Cloris Leachman and Geri Jewell—reunite for the first time on camera since the series ended, in advance of their scheduled appearance at the TV Land Awards (Sunday, April 17, 9/8c). A clip from their taped awards show appearance is easily the best part of this video— in it, Charlotte Rae says she’s so proud of her girls because, “They all turned out to be straight! Straight!” I guess that clears up the longstanding rumors about Jo, but it does not account for Geri Jewell’s recent coming out. (I kid, I kid: Rae goes on to clarify that she wasn’t referring to sexuality.) Mostly, it’s just great to see the gang back together, answering the same questions they have individually for years and will undoubtedly go on to answer in the years ahead. After this video, just one question remains: where’s Pippa?


Sigh. I LIVED for The Facts of Life. I have watched every single episode of the show a few times … going way back to the original cast of the show that included Molly Ringwald. It would’ve been just INSANE if TV Land managed to get the entire, entire cast all together (including George Clooney) but … this is the cast that most people remember. I love Charlotte Rae (who played Mrs. Garrett). The woman looks fantastic for her age (she’s about to turn 85) … I am happy to see her looking so well. The other ladies look great too … but, yes, they do look much older these days. I am really looking forward to watching the TV Land Awards this weekend … this reunion looks really fun. What a great show … they really don’t make TV shows these days like they used to. Any Facts of Life fans out there? Which eps are your faves?

‘Scream 4′ Premieres In Hollywood

At long last … we are just DAYS away from the release of the much-anticipated sequel film Scream 4 and last night all of the stars of the franchise (both old and new) convened at Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood, CA for the World Premiere of the film! Scream veterans Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and David Arquette were joined by new comers Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Adam Brody and more on the red carpet in celebration of the revival of the Scream franchise. Check out some of the photos from the red carpet arrivals below.



I really cannot believe that Scream 4 is almost finally here. It seems like AGES since we first heard the movie was in the works … and even ages longer since we last saw a Scream film in theaters. I am so beyond exciting, I can’t even tell you. It’s so great to see the growing Scream cast altogether … but my excitement has to end there. I ain’t reading NOTHING about this film … not until I get to see it for myself. I will deffo be seeing it as early as possible on opening day this Friday (if not sooner) so … I just gotta bide my time and make it thru the home stretch. We are almost there … Scream 4 … can you believe it?

Lindsay Lohan To Be Cast As Victoria Gotti In An Upcoming Biopic

For the past couple of weeks, there’s been talk that Lindsay Lohan was in negotiations to play Victoria Gotti in a planned biopic movie about her father John Gotti … and today, the news was all but formally announced — Lindsay will likely get the part of Vicki G. with John Travolta scoring the role of John Gotti, Sr.. Lindsay, Victoria, John Travolta and John A. Gotti all appeared in NYC today to announce the casting at a press conference. Check out photos and deets below.

John Travolta sat at the center of the table looking dapper and cracking jokes. If he seemed like a mafia don, that's because he was there to announce he would be playing one. Travolta was the headliner at a press conference Tuesday morning at a hotel conference room in midtown Manhattan to announce his next starring role in Gotti: Three Generations. The independently-financed film will star Travolta as John Gotti Sr. Also on hand were director Nick Cassavetes (The Notebook), producer Marc Fiore, and John Gotti Jr. But perhaps the biggest head-turner for the assembled press corps was a platinum-blonde sitting near the front of the room, Lindsay Lohan. The actress has been rumored to be up for the part of the late mob kingpin's daughter, Victoria Gotti. When asked about her odd presence at the press conference, Fiore said, "Lindsay is a terrific actress. I'm glad to have her here today. We're in talks. Nothing's finalized." Sitting a few feet away from Lohan were Chazz Palminteri, lending some outer-borough street cred, the tanned and tweezed Gotti boys of reality-TV fame, Travolta's wife Kelly Preston, Jay Leno-sidekick John Melendez, and, for what it's worth, Miss Teen New Jersey. Ostensibly, the press conference was held to announce that Travolta would star in the Gotti biopic, which traces the relationship between the late Dapper Don and his son. But other casting news was announced as well. Fiore announced that Joe Pesci had signed on to play Gotti deputy, Angelo Ruggiero, and that Travolta's 11-year-old daughter, Ella Bleu Travolta, who previously appeared in her father's 2009 film Old Dogs, would also have a part in the film. From Lohan's presence, it's assumed that she will play Victoria. Which left open the question of who would play the high-profile role of John Gotti Jr. When asked who he thought should play him, Gotti Jr. joked, "Eddie Murphy!"

While I think it’s really silly for Lindsay to show up at this press conference without having signed on for the role, I think it’s all but certain that she will get the gig. It sounds like all that needs to be hammered out is money. Lindsay should take whatever is being offered her because, let’s be real, Hollywood ain’t knocking down her door with offers. I honestly cannot take anything that Lindsay is associated with seriously. The movies she’s done in the past few years have been terrible. Until she proves me wrong, I’ll continue to be doubtful that she has the acting ability to play a serious role. At least Lindsay‘s got Victoria‘s hair right so … there’s that. The ’24′ Movie Is Now Scheduled For A 2012 Release

Back in April of 2010, we learned from Kiefer Sutherland that the script for the much-anticipated 24 movie was being or had been written … but in the year since, there has been no news or evident movement on the project … until now. Brian Grazer announced on Twitter that after talking with Sutherland, the plan is to bring 24 to the big screen in 2012! Woot!!

The news only gets better for fans who are anxiously awaiting the return of Jack Bauer: Uber-producer Brian Grazer recently tweeted that he's on board for long-gestating 24 movie. "Got off the phone Keifer yesterday and we are very excited about producing the 24 movie for next year," he tweeted. Grazer's involvement makes sense since Imagine Entertainment, the company he co-owns with Ron Howard, produced the long running action drama for Fox. Last month, Kiefer Sutherland told the women of The View that the movie will come out in 2012.

You may recall that in February, we learned that Kiefer is planning a return to TV in a new series set to air on Fox this Fall … that news kinda lead me to believe that the 24 movie was being shelved for a while. I am SO happy to learn that that is NOT the case. I am SO counting on this happening now … both Brian Grazer and Kiefer Sutherland wouldn’t lie to us … would they? Are you excited for 24: The Movie?

One ‘Elle’ Of An Evening

Last night, David and I were graciously invited by our good friend Joe Zee to attend Elle magazine’s Women In Music concert event at the Music Box in Hollywood to see live performances by Theophilus London, Solange Knowles and Robyn! Because David didn’t get a chance to see Robyn last Friday night and because we really wanted to see Joe, we decided to check out the event …. and we had a blast! Check out some photos and video from last night’s fun below.


Robyn was amazing … it was the second time I got to see her perform live in under a week and she continues to impress me with her live performances. Robyn‘s performance at night’s party for Elle was a bit longer than the one she gave Friday night at PopStarz … and this time, she performed the 2 songs that I really wanted to hear. The whole Elle party was just so fun … David and I were very happy to attend. Joe was in fine spirits last night, it’s so great seeing him doing so well these days! Not only does he continue to enjoy success at Elle but his new TV series All On the Line is doing very well on the Sundance Channel. It’s really fantastic to see friends succeed ;)

No big plans for tonight … we’re dealing with some tech issues that will likely keep us both at home today. Ah well, Happy Tuesday!!

This Friday, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 will be released on DVD and included with the disc is a sneak peek at this Summer’s FINAL Harry Potter film. Today we get to check out the first 3 minutes of The Deathly Hallows – Part 2 as featured on the new DVD release of Part 1. In this clip, Harry talks to Mr. Ollivander about magic wands … check out the video below.


A three-minute clip of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II” has been leaked online in bootleg version via Trailer Addict. The video, which will be officially released during “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I” DVD selling on Friday, April 15, features the first scene where Harry talks to Mr. Olivander about the Elder Wand, one of the Deathly Hallows. The last installment of “Harry Potter” film franchise will see the battle between good and evil forces of the Wizarding world escalating into an all-out war. The stakes have never been higher and no one is safe, but it is Harry Potter who may be called upon to make the ultimate sacrifice as he draws closer to the climactic showdown with Lord Voldemort. Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson are reprising their roles in the fantasy movie as Harry, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger respectively. Kelly Macdonald is added to the cast ensemble to portray Helena Ravenclaw. This David Yates-helmed film will come out in theaters nationwide on July 15.

Goosebumps! I am so excited and so sad about the final film this Summer. Yes, I am DYING to see it … but no, I don’t want the franchise to be over. Enjoy the clip … it won’t be very long until we get to see the film in full … and say our sad goodbyes ;(

Christina Aguilera Takes Max Liron To Disney World

Back in January, mama Christina Aguilera took her young son Max Liron to Disneyland here in SoCal for an early 3rd birthday party. This week, she and Max made their way to Florida to spend some time at Walt Disney World for a little mother/son bonding. I guess as a former Mouseketeer, Xtina has an open invitation to visit any Disney themepark she likes … which is very good for little Max, I think ;)

A familiar and happy face made a return visit to Walt Disney World Resort today, as Christina Aguilera visited with her son Max. Christina is a frequent guest at both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort. And, as most people already know, she called Disney's Hollywood Studios (then known as Disney-MGM Studios) "home" at one point early in her career, starring on The New Mickey Mouse Club on Disney Channel which was taped at the park. Christina and Max visited Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park today, enjoying the Kilimanjaro Safaris in the Harambe Wildlife Reserve as well as a leisurely flight aboard TriceraTop Spin in Chester and Hester's Dino-Rama in DinoLand U.S.A.

These two look really cute together … and I really love that Xtina‘s boyfriend Matthew Rutler is nowhere to be seen. Every since girl got embarrassingly arrested for public intoxication, she has really turned her behavior around. It felt like she was acting out in the hopes of getting a bit of notoriety … but now that she’s one of the judges on NBC‘s new singing competition show The Voice, she can’t afford to be running around all over town like a drunken mess. And let’s be for real … messy drunkenness is not cute … on anyone. THIS sight of Xtina and Max at Disney World is cute … and it’s a look that I hope Xtina stays true to.

Lindsay Lohan Mistaken For Lady Gaga

Aww … poor Lindsay Lohan … nobody knows who she is anymore :( Lindsay, who has been flying back and forth for the past few weeks from LA to NYC made her way back to the Big Apple and when she went to check-in at the American Airlines counter for her flight, she was mistaken by the AA representative for Lady Gaga. Ooooh, burn.

She won’t be using the ‘Don’t you know who I am?’ line anytime soon. Lindsay Lohan was given a harsh dose of reality by a confused airline employee yesterday, when they confused her with another (more current) celebrity. The once celebrated actress, now more famous for her court appearances than anything else, was mistaken for none other than Lady Gaga at JFK airport in New York. Despite the case of mistaken identity perhaps acting as an indicator of Linday’s fall from grace, the 24-year-old saw the funny side. She tweeted about the incident afterwards, writing:

“What does it mean when an #americanairlines employee says “ah! lady gaga!” to me #jfk airport!!? should I of bursted into Born This Way?”

Perhaps her incognito approach in a hat and sunglasses helped to confuse the American Airlines employee, and she can take comfort in that at least they knew she was some sort of celebrity.

Daaaaaaaang. Poor Lindsay. While most of us would be scared shitless by the threat of incarceration for grand felony theft, Lindsay clearly is not worried in the least that she might get thrown in jail. But, I’m telling you, it must’ve KILLED her to be mistaken for another, more famous celebrity. Ouch. Still … the girl has been behaving herself for the past few weeks, which is quite a feat. People may not know who she is but at least she’s managed to stay out of trubs. I wonder how long until Lindsay decides to give up the good girl act so that she can regain recognition by doing something controversial again. Hmmm.

Watch: David Beckham’s Unbelievable Soccer Ball Video

A couple of weeks ago, we saw photos of David Beckham and Modern Family actress Sofia Vergara on the beachy set of a new Pepsi commercial and today we get to see a “behind the scenes” viral video that Pepsi released from the shoot. In the video, Becks seemingly makes 3 IMPOSSIBLE soccer kicks that are purported as genuine … but looks totally unreal to me. Check out the video below and judge for yourselves.


There is NO way that Becks actually kicked those soccer balls into those trash cans … not from those distances and surely not barefoot. Still, Pepsi seemingly wants us to believe that what we are seeing in this video is real. I ain’t buying it, are you?

BUT, absent the apparent fakeness, it is a pretty cool video, ain’t it? What do y’all think?

Beyoncé Surfaces On The Set Of Her New Music Video

Yesterday we learned some RUMORED details about a new music video that Beyoncé is reportedly filming for a supposed new album that is said to be released in June. You may recall that we learned that the song is reportedly called Girl and will feature 200 African dancers for the video. Today we get to see a sneaky photo snapped of B in the Mojave Desert here in SoCal on the set of her new music video … which lends a bit of credence to the rumors we’ve been hearing lately.


I think the fact that Beyoncé is filming a music video is a VERY GOOD indication that A.) a new album is on the way and B.) the deets from the video casting call are likely very true. As I gushed yesterday, I am VERY excited for a new Beyoncé album. I hope we get to hear something soon … it’ll be nice to plan my excited freak-outs around a scheduled album release date ;)

Tina Fey Shows Off Baby Bump #2

Last we learned from Tina Fey herself that she is 5 months pregnant with her second child and last night, Tina showed off her protruding baby bump in NYC as she left The Late Show with David Letterman. Check out the photos below to see the big ol’ bump that Tina is rockin’ these days.


Tina Tina managed to keep her news a secret until she was ready to make the announcement on The Oprah Winfrey Show … and now she’s all bumpin’ out and everything. I find it very hard to imagine that there are cooler moms in the world than Tina Fey … and she makes an absolutely BEAUTIFUL pregnant lady :) She’s already more than halfway thru her pregnancy already so … let the Bump Watch officially begin!!

Jessie And The Toy Boys & Nervo Will Tour With Britney Spears

Yesterday we learned the confirmed news that Nicki Minaj will be going on tour with Britney Spears this Summer but today we learn that the ladies won’t be hitting the road alone. Word is that up and coming new popstarlets Jessie and the Toy Boys and Nervo will be opening for Britney on her tour! I’ve been loving Jessie for a while now so I’m SO geeked that she will be getting SO MUCH exposure! Folks who will see Britney and Nicki on tour are in for a extra preshow pop treat :D

According to a very reliable MuuBirdie, the following ladies will be joining Britney on her upcoming summer tour: Jessie and the Toy Boys, Nervo and special guest, Nicki Minaj. As far as I know, this is still a Britney Spears concert–not a co-headlining show. Britney will be officially announcing her Femme Fatale tour friends tomorrow and the sale date on Twitter tomorrow. EDIT: The NERVO sisters just tweeted a confirmation that they will be joining Britney on tour.

This news has NOT been officially confirmed just yet but I, too, have it on good authority that this is the line-up for Britney‘s Summer tour. We will deffo be hearing this week about the final tour details this week as well as the first ticket on-sale dates. I am not at all familiar with Nervo but I LOVE Jessie and the Toy Boys. I suggest you head over to Jessie‘s site HERE to learn all about the hottest new popstar on the planet. Folks here in LA, take note … Jessie and the Toy Boys will be performing LIVE at Tiger Heat at Avalon this Thursday night! Just when I thought Britney Spears‘s tour with Nicki Minaj couldn’t get any better … it does! Woot!!!
