Derek Hough is mostly known for the killer moves he choreographs on Dancing with the Stars, but the hawt man is planning to take his career to a whole new level! That's because Derek has landed his first MAJOR acting role on the ABC hit show Nashville, and he seemed to be plenty excited about it when he announced the news! Here's what he tweeted: Aww yeah! Derek's role will appear on the show's third season, and he's set to play a character named Noah West who is described as "beguiling and disarming." Sounds good to us! Gwen Stefani was one of the latest celebs challenged in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, and she was so excited that she did it while in her street clothes! And they are fabulous street clothes at that! As for the pouring, her co-coach on The Voice, Blake Shelton, helped her out in the most tortuous way possible! With the slow pour! | Robin Williams’ Friends & Family Start Gathering For His Memorial Service Posted: 17 Aug 2014 09:31 AM PDT Robin Williams' family is getting ready to lay their loved one to rest, as people started arriving in Tiburon, CA in the middle of last week. The private memorial is being planned by Robin's widow Susan Schneider and will be in the Bay Area. A source explained:

| T.I. Is Slapped With A Lawsuit Because He Never Returned The Rental Equipment From His Tour! Posted: 17 Aug 2014 08:39 AM PDT He doesn't have time for mediocres… or for returning his rental equipment apparently. Rapper T.I. is being sued by the company he rented equipment from when he went on his America's Most Wanted tour last year. Reportedly, he never returned the $50,000 drop roll, which is what he projected videos and photos onto. But instead of just suing him for the $50,000, the company doubled it because of the money they lost due to its absence! T.I. hasn't responded yet, but shouldn't that be someone else's responsibility? We're sure that the 33-year-old isn't the one who is in charge of all of the equipment! However, he's the big name on the contract, so it makes sense he'd be the one to go after! Hopefully it gets returned soon, because Tip doesn't need any more legal dramz in his life! |

Just last week, we found out that Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin may be dating, but Gwyneth Paltrow isn't just sitting around at home! Nope! We previously mentioned that she vacationed with Glee producer Brad Falchuk in July, and it seems things are heating up! The two have been longtime friends, and with Brad divorcing his wife of 10 years in March 2013, they're both ready to move on! Insiders have spotted the couple dining several times at Vietnamese restaurant East Borough in Culver City, CA, where they ate fried rice, baby octopus, and drank beer. An onlooker said:

| Posted: 16 Aug 2014 04:00 PM PDT The state of affairs over at NBC's State Of Affairs is a bit iffy at the moment! It seems drama follows Katherine Heigl wherever she goes! The star's new show has already had its first showrunner depart from the television program, and the reason for why that happened was apparently because the creator and the showrunner kept on fighting about creative stuff! If that's the case - that creator Joe Carnahan and the original showrunner Ed Bernero couldn't get along - then Katherine can say she had nothing to do with it. But we wouldn't be surprised if she did have some part, considering her past of trouble in the television business! The drama is set to debut November 17th which is why the network's brass already is readying up to sign up a replacement showrunner! That person is apparently going to be Dario Scardapane who has previously worked on The Bridge . Hopefully he can get along with the creator, and possibly also Katherine, at least long enough to get this first season in the books! We wonder if this'll be the last of the drama we hear about regarding this show! |
