Janet Jackson Kicks Off Her World Tour In Manila, Philippines

And … she’s off. Janet Jackson officially kicked off the first date of her massive Number Ones Greatest Hits World Tour in Manila, Philippines last night. JJ performed a string of hits in front of a sold out house of fans. Photos and video of Janet‘s first concert stop quickly made their way to Twitter and You Tube … some of which you can check out below.

AHHHH. As you know, Janet will be bringing this tour to the US in March and April and I know I am VERY excited to finally see her live on stage. With that said, I am going to try and stay away from seeing any other tour spoilers. I know that her setlist has already been released and I am trying to stay away from it at all costs. I’ve never seen Janet live so I want to be as surprised as possible. These photos and videos look amazing tho … it looks like a fun show :D

The Longest Afternoon Of My Life

Let me tell you about my Friday … my very looooooooong and drawn out Friday … ugh. So, earlier this week I discovered that my car battery had died so I decided to take it into the VW dealership to have it replaced. Now, I know I could’ve gotten the battery replaced for much cheaper somewhere else but I love my car and really like having the dealership take care of these sorts of things. I’ve never had a problem with my car before so … what the Hell. Then my long day began …


Basically, I spent the entirety of my life stuck in the waiting room trying to entertain myself with anything available. To be honest, the wait wasn’t that long … but it did take longer than they said it would. The drive home was another story. It took me almost 2 hours to get from the dealership to my home … roughly 8 miles. I damn near lost my mind but … my car had to be fixed, it’s all over now.

Tonight, David and I are preparing our home for a massive party. David decided to invite everyone we know in LA to come over for a pre/anti Super Bowl party. He got all fancy and ordered a bartender and everything … it should be fun. I spent a couple hours compiling the music playlist. I amassed 16 hours of music … hopefully that will be enough. I hope all your Super Bowl weekends will be fun! Yay!!

Britney Spears Releases A Second Teaser For Her ‘Hold It Against Me’ Music Video

Yesterday our dear Britney Spears posted a first teaser clip from her upcoming new music video Hold It Against Me. Today we learn that Britney plans to release a new teaser clip every single day, leading up to the video’s release on February 17. The second teaser clip is now available for viewing below.


Again, the ring of microphones show up as Britney peers out at the camera. It’s unclear if this clip is from the actual video or is just extra footage before the director calls out Action!


It looks like we are going to get 2 seconds of footage every day for the next 12 days … and then the full music video. Are you excited by what you see?

‘Captain America: The First Avenger’ Releases A New Full Costume Photo

Last month we got our first look at Chris Evans in costume as Captain America and just yesterday we got to check out the first official movie poster for Captain America: The First Avenger. Today we get one more look at the Captain America costume in a newly released promo photo that gives us the best look yet of the superhero suit.


HMMM … I don’t know if the suit is growing on me or what but … I’m starting not to hate it. Sure, it’s not as streamlined as other superhero suits but I’m starting to like the “homemade”ness of the costume. It really looks like an Army jumpsuit that has been adapted for superhero use. See, inundating us with all these images from the film is having a positive effect … at least on me. What do y’all think? Do we love this Captain America suit … or not?

MTV Decides NOT To Air Lauren ‘LC’ Conrad’s New TV Show

Sad news for those of you hoping to see former Hills star Lauren LC Conrad back on MTV … cuz MTV decided to pass on her new TV show and will NOT be airing it at all. As you may recall, we saw photos back in November of LC filming scenes for her new show but, alas, MTV decided … Nah, no thanks.

Last fall, MTV announced that it was reuniting with Lauren Conrad, star of the network's Laguna Beach and The Hills, for another reality series focused on the young star's burgeoning fashion line. But EW has EXCLUSIVELY learned that the Conrad series has been passed on by the network. "We decided not to go ahead with the show," says David Janollari, EVP, Head of Programming for MTV. "She did do a pilot. There were talks about whether we could somehow manage to put together a special based on that footage but that's also a big question mark based on her interest in that and the finances. We love her! We would love her on our network!" The proposed series was not a glossy reality soap like The Hills but much more documentary style. It was also noticeably absent from MTV's Upfront this week. Says Janollari, "It was a great attempt but it just didn't feel like a perfect fit for us now."

Awww … poor LC. To be honest, this news isn’t really surprising to me. I understand that Liz Gateley and Tony DiSanto (the people responsible for creating Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County and The Hills) have left MTV so it sounds like the network is moving away from that kind of programming. You may recall that we learned just a couple of weeks ago that Audrina Patridge‘s new TV show got downgraded to a web series. HMMM. It’s starting to look like the world has tired of anything or anyone Hills-related. HMMMM.

Are David & Victoria Beckham Having A Baby Girl?

In early January, David Beckham announced to the world that he and wife Victoria Beckham are expecting the birth of their 4th child. Apparently, the couple already knows the sex of the baby … that is, if you believe the British tabloid The Sun. According to The Sun, Les Beckhams have been told that they are expecting a girl! Now, before you bust out the cigars, consider the source. Even still, it’s kinda hard not to wanna get excited by the thought of a baby Beckham girl.

VICTORIA BECKHAM was “over the moon” last night after being told she will give birth to her very own Baby Spice. The pregnant star, who shot to fame as SPICE GIRL singer Posh, wept tears of joy after her doctor said a hospital scan indicated she was expecting a girl. She and soccer star husband DAVID had been desperate for a daughter to add to their three young sons. A close family friend told The Sun: “David and Victoria are over the moon. This will be their last child and to be told they are having a girl is the icing on the cake for the Beckham clan.” Victoria, 36, had a scan in January at the private Rivers Hospital near her family home in Sawbridgeworth, Herts, where medics were unable to establish the gender of her child. But after a 16-week ultrasound scan nearly a fortnight later she was told she was expecting a girl. Posh then returned for a 4D scan and was told her daughter was healthy and developing perfectly. Most sonographers can accurately identify a baby’s sex at 20 weeks. But some highly-experienced professionals can detect it with a good degree of accuracy at about 16. The couple’s fourth child is due to arrive in the summer.

Gahhhh, I *wish* I could start celebratin’ … but not yet. Yes, this is great news … but it’s *totally* unconfirmed. Let’s just keep a good thought that this report from The Sun is correct (hey, they’ve got a 50/50 shot at being right) and Vicki B. really is carrying a baby girl in her loins. Cautiously optimistic, y’all … let’s just hope and pray :)

Today we learn that she has opened up her official online store to begin taking pre-orders of a special Premium Fan Edition of Femme Fatale. Priced at $74.00 (plus shipping), this edition of the album is mean for serious fans only … which means pretty much every single Britney Spears fan on Earth.

This very special Fan Edition includes:

*Limited edition 32-page hardcover photo book with sleeves for*:
o Deluxe album CD with EXCLUSIVE artwork

Lindsay Lohan Will Be Charged With Felony Grand Theft

And … here we go again. Remember earlier this week when we learned that Lindsay Lohan was accused of stealing a necklace from a jewelry store in Venice, CA? Yeah, well it turns out that the city prosecutors have decided, based on the evidence, that Lindsay did steal the necklace and will be charged with felony grand theft. If convicted, she faces up to 3 years in PRISON. Sound familiar?

Lindsay Lohan will be charged with felony grand theft … TMZ has learned. Sources connected with the case tell TMZ the L.A. County District Attorney will file the case as early as Monday. Lindsay is accused of stealing a $2,500 necklace from a Venice, CA jewelry store on January 22. Surveillance video from the store shows Lindsay with the necklace in question and there are photos of her wearing what appears to be the same necklace a week later. If convicted … Lindsay faces a maximum of three years in state prison. The case could also have a dramatic impact on her ongoing DUI case in Beverly Hills since she is currently on probation.

This is pretty unbelievable … well, okay, mebbe not … but it is pretty insane. Even when the girl tries to stay out of trouble she gets into WORSE trouble. Felony Grand Theft is no joke … she could get sent to PRISON if convicted! I wouldn’t necessarily count on Lindsay getting hauled off to the really BIG house just yet … but the evidence against her is pretty damning. We shall see how this all plays out … but, yeah, it looks like we’ve got another BIG legal drama on our hands so early in 2011 … courtesy of our dear Lindsay Lohan.
