Never had these problems when you were with Janet Jackson, did you??? Jermaine Dupri has been hit with a lawsuit from an Atlanta woman that claims Jermaine has missed several child support payments. In March, Superior Court Judge Margaret Dorsey told Jermaine he had to pay the mother of his child $2,500 a month and an additional $7,500 after it was confirmed that the child was his. However, the woman, Saria Jones, hasn't seen a dime yet from him, so now, she's taking further legal action. Now, what's that about we wonder? We know he's been having some financial difficulty as of late, but he didn't think he was the type of guy who would stiff his own kid! What's happening, Jermaine? What's the problem here? | So Sad! Whitney Gets Banned From Prince Concerts Due To Erratic Behavior Posted: 10 May 2011 12:50 PM PDT
Very upsetting. Earlier today, we were sad to learn that it looks like Whitney Houston has relapsed and succumbed to crack once again. We were glad to hear that she was in rehab, but were concerned that she was only doing an outpatient program. Looks like she may need a more intense rehab program, because sources say that Whitney acted inappropriately at a series of recent Prince concerts, and has been banned from all his future shows. According to the sources, she made "constant ticket demands" from Prince and displayed "erratic behavior" at several of his recent shows. She also came across as being intoxicated, but there is no hard evidence that she was in fact under any influence during his performances. Apparently, Whitney aggressively tried to convince Prince to let her on stage during several shows, but his people wouldn't let her on stage so she wouldn't "embarrass herself." This truly saddens us. It really seems like Whitney needs to check herself into an in-patient rehab facility. Hopefully she'll make the right move and do just that. [Image via WENN.] |

Ugh! Color us so jealous! Miley Cyrus ventured out of her hotel in Argentina yesterday, to do a bit of shopping in the South American city. She stopped inside several antique shops to peruse their trinkets, treasures and tchotchkes with her momma, Tish. Of course, the paparazzi stalked her through the streets as she tried to sample as many places as possible at the San Telmo, but it looks like she held her own pretty well. | Navy Chaplains Allowed To Perform Gay Marriages Posted: 10 May 2011 12:20 PM PDT
Such great news! The Navy has just authorized it's Chaplains to perform same-sex marriages! Of course, this would come once the don't ask don't tell is lifted, but it is an amazing step in the meantime until that happens! Some members of Congress argue the go-ahead violates another federal law, though! Boo! Here's some of what the authorization says, and a little explanation:

So let's just change the law! Marriage should not be limited to just men and women, but instead should be all inclusive for every person! Marriage should be between love and love, regardless of sex! We were hoping that she'd calmed down a bit, but it doesn't look like it, huh? Oh hell, she's just being Tara Reid was spotted enjoying her vacation a bit too much in Mexico this weekend as she stumbled out of a venue with the help of someone more sober than herself. Unable to hold herself in those Louboutin heels, Tara was practically carried out to a waiting car that whisked her back to her hotel. Sweetie, have you learned nothing? Alcohol is NOT your friend! In every sense of the phrase - it don't like you! It's hard to feel sympathy for you when you just won't let that little well-known fact resonate with you! | RiRi's S&M Too Diiiiirty For Daytime TV! UK Upset! Posted: 10 May 2011 11:50 AM PDT So, we wonder who gives certain people the authority to just decide whether or not something is fit to air before the magic hour of 9pm. We understand that very extreme things should probably be not airing at certain times, but music videos seem pretty harmless to us! Rihanna's S&M video has been deemed too sexual for daytime TV, and thus has been causing problems for channels who want to show it. Like WTF TV, who aired it at 11:25 am to outrage and humbuggery because of the off chance a kid could have seen it. Kids use computers better than most adults these days, and a remote for a TV isn't too unlike a keyboard now. All's we're sayin' is that some websites that contain MUCH MORE explicit images sometimes don't even require age verification, yet a music video will destroy minds?? Here's the uproar:
Sounds like a lot of oversensitivity to us. We agree with what the broadcaster over at WTF TV had to say about the incident:
We do understand there could be some inherent danger in kids trying to replicate some of the bondage-esque images, but, that's kind of a stretch. A lot of things would have to fall into place for something like that to happen, including the probability of the channel accidentally being flipped to at that exact time. We just don't think it's all that inappropriate! Do U feel like the video shouldn't be aired before 9pm?? Overseas followers, would your broadcasting take issue with this?? |
