‘Saturday Night Live’ Releases Tina Fey Promo Videos

Tina Fey, the QUEEN of Saturday Night Live, returns to the late night comedy sketch show TONIGHT as special guest host. Tina will be joined by Ellie Goulding as the musical guest. To promote tonight’s show, NBC has released a few promo videos for the ep … and they are funny, y’all. Check out the preview promo clips below.



Not even kidding, the Tina jokes in these clips (especially the swearing one) are funnier than pretty much all of the jokes that have been featured on SNL all year long. Tonight’s ep is a MUST WATCH. Can’t wait to see what Tina‘s got in store for all of us on SNL tonight :) Wee!!

Victoria Beckham & Her Masked Sons Shop NYC

David Beckham may be back home in LA these days (he reportedly was in a minor, injury-free car accident yesterday morning) but his wife and kids are in NYC enjoying the shopping opportunities there. As you may recall, Posh and Becks made their way to London for the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton last weekend but while Becks returned to SoCal, Vicki B. and the boys made a pit stop in NYC for a few days. VB and the boys were spotted shopping up a storm this week … giving the Beckham boys the chance to show off their fun masked hoodies.

They’re three of the most famous little boys in the world – but it was hard to spot Victoria Beckham’s sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz on a shopping trip with their famous mother in New York this week. The stylish trio were all wearing Volcom hoodie jackets – and jokers Cruz, six, and eight-year-old Romeo had zipped them right up to cover their faces so they almost looked like superheroes. Brooklyn, 12, was not so bashful however and braved the rainy weather with a bare face … The jackets also have a full-face zip and mesh lining in the hood, allowing the wearer to see through them – so the boys weren’t in danger of tripping down the steps of the Soho shop as they left. And Cruz’s top almost made him look like Spider Man, with its web-style detail on the side and Spidey-style eyes on the face. It’s a Volcom Boys 2-7 Action Team Slim Youth Jacket and sells for around £40. The Californian clothing company is a huge favourite with celebrities and hip hop stars, including Ashlee Simpson, Black Eyed Pea singer Fergie, Megan Fox and Avril Lavigne – as well as little boys wanting to look like superheroes.

Aww … I love these hoodies. Kids here in LA wear them all the time … so, yeah, the Beckham boys deffo look like California kids. I’m guessing Vicki B. had to make her way to NYC to take care of business and that is why she didn’t immediately return home to SoCal with Becks. Altho he was in a fender bender yesterday, there are no reports of any injury at all. Even still, I’ll be that VB and the boys are gonna wanna be back home in LA as soon as they can so they can be with dear daddy Beckham.

The Purple Yoda Rocks LA

Last night I got to attend my 5th performance of Prince‘s 21 Night Stand residency here in LA and, as you may have guessed, it was a HOT show. Prince invited the Best New Artist of the 2011 Grammy Awards — Esperanza Spalding — to open the show and let me tell you … she was phenomenal. Prince‘s set was tight but not quite 3 hours long … still, the setlist was full of amazing songs and it was very clear that every single person at The Forum last night had the time of their lives.


I was not at all familiar with Spalding‘s music but let me tell you … she is the real deal. Her singing is very good but her bass playing … OMG … just to die for! Hands down, she is the best opening act that Prince has featured on his Welcome 2 America Tour thus far … it felt like an honor just to get to see her perform. Now … Prince … he got the party started real funky, real fast. He played a couple of songs off his newest album, 20Ten (which was released for free in Europe last Summer), and just went crazy from there. The show may not have been as long as some of his other shows but it was tight as HELL. You could tell that both Prince and the audience were having a blast. There weren’t any surprise celeb sightings in the hiz last night … it was just a hot ass Prince concert, period. There seemed to be an energy in his performance that led me to believe that he was gonna play for 12 hours. Instead, the show ended at just about midnight after only 3 encores. It’s so silly but we here in LA have been spoiled rotten by his performances on this tour. Because he has previously played for over 3 hours and has given up to 6 encores, we have come to expect the same from every single performance. I, personally, just like to enjoy each show individually. The energy is never the same … and it is an honest to goodness privilege to see one of the world’s most talented musicians play live so many times in such a short span of time. I’ll be heading to The Forum again tonight for my 6th show … this time, I’ll be going with Josh, Essly and David. It’s gonna be a funky time, y’all. Wee!!

Dina Lohan Shares Her Parenting Tips For Mother’s Day

In celebration of Mother’s Day here in the US tomorrow, The Daily Beast reached out to none other than Dina Lohan to provide their readers with some of her very own parenting advice. That’s right, what better person than a mother of a convicted criminal who is currently serving out the community service hours from her latest probation violation sentence is there to get parenting advice from? If you’re looking for a bit of a laugh, read below to find out what kind of parenting advice Dina Lohan has to give.

Dina Lohan’s daughter is now more famous for her bad behaviour than her acting, but that hasn’t stopped her from giving parenting tips. The 48-year-old has issued advice for raising children on a website as the US prepares to celebrate Mother’s Day on May 8. Her comments were published on the same day the Mean Girls star, 24, checked in Downtown Women’s Centre for her first session of court-ordered community service for violating her probation. Even though the troubled actress has been accused of theft, arrested more than once for driving under the influence, served time behind bars and is currently doing community service , her mother says she was a good girl when she was growing up. Dina tells TheDailyBeast.com: ‘The boys got into more mischief. ‘Lindsay, I’m trying to think. She was always good in school and was like my little buddy. She never really got into too much mischief young. She was a late bloomer.’ Speaking about being in the spotlight Lohan, who helps to manage her daughter’s career, says: ‘No child’s perfect. They’re going to get into trouble, whether it’s big or small. Unfortunately, we’re a global name so they know about it in Indonesia. But just be there for your child, and if you see signs that they’re doing things they shouldn’t be doing, get them help.’ Lohan says: ‘The secret to single parenting is to just teach them what you can teach them. And you pray that instils in them for the rest of their life. You let them go, and if they fall, you’re there to pick them up.’ Lohan’s comments have been chosen as part of The Daily Beast’s Mother’s Day special, which includes parenting advice from the mums of a handful of celebrities.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! This is THE most ridiculous thing I have EVER heard in my ENTIRE LIFE! Dina Lohan giving parenting advice … I can’t even deal. I suppose next we’ll be hearing advice from Michael Lohan about how NOT to be a fame whore and advice from Lindsay Lohan on how to stay sober while enjoying an incredibly successful film career in Hollywood.

New Photos From The Set Of ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ Reveal The Lazarus Pit?

Late last month we got to see the first photos of actor Tom Hardy (Bane) on the set of the upcoming sequel film Batman: The Dark Knight Rises and today we get to see a few more photos from the movie set. These photos reportedly come from India and possibly give us our first look at the Lazarus Pit … which, to Batman fans familiar with the character Ra’s al Ghul, know that is how Ra’s keeps his eternal youth. It is believed that Marion Cotillard will portray al Ghul‘s daughter Taila al Ghul in disguise as Miranda Tate … so the appearance of the Lazarus Pit would seem to fit in that storyline. Check out the photos below.

Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises started filming in Jodhpur, India today and we already have some leaked images of the set finding their way online. Leaked set photos normally don't reveal much about a film, but what makes these interesting for any Batman fan is the inclusion of a green screen pool. The "green screen pool = Ra's al Ghul's The Lazarus Pit" theory found its way online the moment the photos popped up and it's easy to see why so many fans have begun to speculate this given the recent news that Josh Pence will be appearing in the film as a young Ra's al Ghul in flashbacks. Hit the jump to see the photos and to read more about the Lazarus Pit along with what this could mean for Nolan's final Batman film. The photos come to us via CBM, who also provides some info on what exactly the Lazarus Pit is:

"The Lazarus Pit is mythical vats of arcane chemicals in the DC comics universe. The most common user of the pit is Ra's al Ghul. Ra's al Ghul accidentally discovered the first Lazarus Pit as a cure for the dying son of a sultan he worked for. The Pit had a terrible side effect, however; it turned the Prince temporarily insane, leading to him killing the doctor's wife. After being blamed for the murder, the man who would become Ra's Al Ghul was buried in the desert. He was rescued by a tribe and a boy named Huew. After this he used the Lazarus Pit to save himself, and vowed to avenge his wife. The doctor gave himself the title Ra's al Ghul – The Demon's Head."

This is all just fun speculation for right now, but the inclusion of the Lazarus Pit does also fit into the earlier rumors that Marion Cotillard's character, Miranda Tate, is actually a cover for Talia al Ghul. Given the scale and attention surrounding The Dark Knight Rises, I'm sure we will get more leaked set photos along with news debunking or confirming this rumor soon enough. Until then, we can continue to anticipate and speculate about what Christopher Nolan has planned for us before the film opens on July 20th, 2012.

LOL … I love this … a green puddle on the floor is enough to spark a level of speculation and debate like this. It’s going to be a LONG year of guesswork until The Dark Knight Rises comes out next year. It makes total sense that Cotillard will, in fact, play Talia al Ghul because it’s the only thing that makes sense. The inclusion of the Lazarus Pit does fit in very nicely with all the fanboy conjecture (especially since we know that Josh Pence will appear in the film as a young Ra’s al Ghul). I can’t wait for more photos to leak their way online. Even if we are wrong along the way, it’s fun to try and guess what is really going on on the set of The Dark Knight Rises.

The ‘Jersey Shore’ Guys Leave For Italy To Film Season 4

Earlier this year we learned that MTV was planning to send the cast of Jersey Shore to Italy to film the 4th season of the show and today we learn that the JS guys have already packed up their bags and have made their way to Europe to begin filming the new season of their show. Thus far, production of the new season has been a closely guarded secret by the honchos at MTV but now that the cast is staring to make their way to Italy, the secret’s out.


As you may recall, we learned a few weeks ago that the cast of Jersey Shore (except for Dina Deena Nicole Cortese) will be making $100,000 per episode for this 4th season. Insane. Not only does the cast of JS get to spend an amazing few weeks in Italy on “vacation” but they are also getting paid $1k per episode for doing so! Ugh. So … off the go to have fun and HOPEFULLY not embarrass us too much. And just to be safe, I’d like to apologize to the people of Italy for what’s about to happen to your country. So sorry.

Madonna & Brahim Zaibat Are Dunzo!

Last Fall, we learned that Madonna had dumped her previous toy boy Jesus Luz for a new toy boy named Brahim Zaibat. The pair were hot and heavy for a few months but today, after only about 9 months together, we learn that Maddy and Brahim are over! According to a new report of the split, Madge and Brahim‘s religious differences got the best of them. Her being a Kabbalist and he being a Muslim led to the reported end of their relationship. Sad but (reportedly) true, Madonna and Brahim are DUNZO, y’all!

He’s 24, but she is older than his mother. He's a strict Muslim, she has fervent Kabbalah beliefs. So it was hardly likely to last. Madonna, 52, has split from her lover Brahim Zaibat, a hip-hop dancer, after nine months, the Daily Mail has learned. Last night a close friend of Zaibat's said sarcastically: 'Who's Madonna?' The friend added: 'Brahim has been home and he's a single guy. He's no longer an item with Madonna. He's very happy. There's nothing more to say.' He is believed to be lying low at his family's home in Lyon in France. But Madonna was happy to be pictured stepping out alone at the Annual Costume Institute gala in New York this week. She sparkled in a floor-length blue gown adorned with stars down its back and designed by her friend Stella McCartney. Referring to Madonna's devotion to Kabbalah, a mystical branch of Judaism, a source close to Zaibat added: 'Brahim's family had told him they did not want him going to Kabbalah meetings and wanted him to stick to his Muslim beliefs, which caused some rows. 'Things started to turn sour and they were hardly seeing each other.' The couple met in September last year and had been spotted at some of London's most exclusive restaurants.

HMMM … it did seem suspicious that Madonna attended the MET Costume Ball Gala in NYC with her manager Guy Oseary rather than her boyfriend. I suppose it makes sense … after all, what do a 24 year old and a 53 year old have in common? Oh wait … let’s ask Hugh Hefner and Crystal Harris. In any event, let’s hope that Brahim got out of his relationship with Madonna with everything of his intact. As you may recall, we heard yesterday that Maddy‘s ex-hubby Guy Ritchie reportedly lost his foreskin by gettin’ in a relationship with Madonna. Poor thing. Ah well. I can’t wait to see who Maddy hooks up with next ;D

Lindsay Lohan Denies Any Interest In Scientology

Yesterday we learned of a report that made the claim that Lindsay Lohan had been approached by her Gotti: Three Generations co-star John Travolta with an offer of help (and presumably conversion) from the Church of Scientology. Today we are hearing from TMZ sources “close to” Lindsay that claim in no uncertain terms that she is NOT interested at all in becoming a Scientologist.

Lindsay Lohan is NOT joining the Church of Scientology … TMZ has learned — despite reports claiming John Travolta was trying to indoctrinate the actress into his religion. Sources close to Lindsay tell TMZ, the actress has no plans whatsoever to become a Scientologist — she hasn’t taken any classes with the Church … and hasn’t even been asked to visit by current members. We’re told Lindsay has nothing against the Church — but she was raised Catholic and plans to stay Catholic … in fact, she remains an avid practitioner to this day. It’s all in response to several reports on Friday — that Lindsay made inroads with the Church of Scientology under the guidance of “Gotti” co-star John Travolta … but it just ain’t true.

Well … there you have it. To be honest, I think any organization — either spiritual or otherwise — that can give Lindsay a stable purpose in life would be a GREAT influence on her. Whether she becomes a Scientologist, remains a Catholic or gets thrown in a prison institution for 3 years … anything is better than nothing. I’d like to believe that Lindsay can right her own ship and clean up her life but we’ve seen how successful she’s been with that endeavor for the past few years so … yeah.
