Virginia Tech Students Still On Lockdown, Gunman Still At Large Posted: 08 Dec 2011 01:25 PM PST Unfortunately, the gunman who killed a campus cop and another pedestrian at Virginia Tech this morning has still not been apprehended by authorities. Several police squads and officials are still searching the area, looking for the caucasian male who is thought to still be in the area. In the meantime, every precaution is in place to keep the students of the school as safe as possible. The school is still in lockdown, with no one allowed in or out. Several students are being held in a secure room at Squires Student Center. In fact, security is so tight, students are even being escorted to the bathroom. The latest intel from the school's inside reporters say that the police are checking local neighborhoods in downtown Blacksburg, just in case the suspect manage to escape the school perimeters. Casey Anthony's Lawyers Are Back In Court! Posted: 08 Dec 2011 01:20 PM PST Perhaps some justice will be served this time around? Two months ago, Casey Anthony was forced to give a videotape deposition as part of Zenaida Fernandez Gonzalez's defamation lawsuit against her, which alleges that "Anthony falsely accused her of kidnapping her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee Anthony." Today, attorneys for both Casey and Zenaida returned to court to argue "whether Anthony should fully answer questions posed to her during her deposition in October." As a reminder, during that hearing, Casey's lawyers invoked the Fifth Amendment SIXTY TIMES! WTF!?!?!? Let's hope the judge does the right thing and forces Casey to take some accountability for her actions. Fingers crossed. [Image via AP Images.]

Twitter Redesigns To Become Bigger Simpler, Faster, Stronger Posted: 08 Dec 2011 12:40 PM PST Twitter is planning to revamp their site to be more user friendly. The social media kingpin announced that the new layout will 500 percent faster then Twitter was in September. The format will also affect the mobile apps as well. Co-leader Jack Dorsey says the change makes Twitter more approachable and accessible. He also states that active users created the @ and # conventions, which have become key to the way Twitter works, but many users have no idea what they mean. Some of the changes include switvhing the nav bar to the left and additional content within tweets. The format will be available on the site over the next few months.

Earlier this week, Taylor Armstrong opened up about her husband Russell's suicide on Watch What Happens Live, and it was just heartwrenching. Now, Taylor has opened up about her story further...and she explains why she waited so long to speak up: "I wish I would have been able to tell my story before now, but, until my husband Russell's suicide, I didn't feel safe to tell anyone for fear of my own safety and the safety of my daughter. It was assumed by us all that Courtney Stodden was nothing more than a money-hungry, fame-whoring, attention-seeking, gold-digging teen bride. But none of that is true! Girl actually has ... standards! According to reports, Courtney was approached by VH1 to star in a reality show with her husband Doug Hutchison. The pair was offered mucho $$$ to sign on to Relationship Rehab, a new show being produced by the same team behind Celebrity Rehab. The show offers counseling and therapy to couples in El Lay who having difficulty with their marriages for one reason or another. Sources reveal that Doug and Stods turned down the offer because it "wasn't a perfect fit for the kind of show they wanted to do." But of course! There is nothing wrong with their relationship!
