| Tiffani Thiessen’s puffy-sleeved dress: unflattering, or very cute? Posted: 11 Oct 2010 08:38 AM PDT I have something dark and terrible to admit: I have always loved and adored Tiffani (AMBER) Thiessen. I loved her on Saved by the Bell, I loved her on 90210, and now I love her on White Collar. I like her throw-back beauty and the fact that she's probably been told that's she's too "big" for show business. I think she's really pretty, and she's matured into a solid television actress. She and Tim DeKay (who plays her husband on White Collar) have a really sweet, lovely chemistry. And she's married to a hot guy in real life too - and they just had a baby girl a few months ago. Speaking of the baby, Tiffani has given a few interviews about her post-baby body. She basically said that she is working out and trying to lose the baby weight, but she's not super-stressed about it either, and that she thinks it takes a year to feel "normal" again. Which is refreshing. So these photos are of Tiffani last night at the launch of some luxury pool in Las Vegas. Tiffani looks like she's lost most of her baby weight, but I can't really tell. Because this dress is so f-cking hideous. This isn't like when a woman isn't happy with her body and she just throws on a poncho. She actually thinks this is a cute dress that is flattering on her. Now, if the sleeves just had some minor, incidental "puff" detailing, that would be one thing (still bad, but not as bad). But the sleeves on this dress are just… a total disaster. And she looks like a disaster in it. So unflattering! My God. Oh, well. I still love her. She just needs another stylist, maybe. Photos courtesy of WENN.      |
| Kim Kardashian is trying to convince us that Reggie Bush is still interested Posted: 11 Oct 2010 08:12 AM PDT Radar has a fascinating piece about how Reggie Bush is still trying to bone Kim Kardashian. Pardon me, did I say "bone"? I mean, "Kim wants people to think Reggie is still in love with her because she's still not over him." Kim and Reggie broke up several months ago amidst rumors that he was already lining up a number of jump-offs. Kim tried to pull the relationship together, clinging to Reggie, but in the end, I feel pretty strongly that he dumped her. I think she wanted to marry him, and I think he wanted to hook up with all the randoms he wanted. Since their breakup, I've noticed that every now and then, there is a random (planted) report about how Reggie just can't wait to get back with Kim, how he's calling her and begging her to come back. These reports always sound like they came from Kim's people. In any case, I'm not buying a potential reunion, but it is interesting to think that Kim is still not over Reggie:
[From Radar] Eh. I think Kim still wants to get married and I think Reggie still doesn't want to. Or he just doesn't want to marry Kim. Rumors around their breakup also involved his family not being thrilled with the idea of Reggie "settling down" with a Kat-Face with a sex tape. Who knows? Speaking of Kim being slightly desperate, Page Six’s sources are now claiming that Kim is NOT dating that dude Michael Copon, and that she's still "searching for the one." Eh.    |
| Minka Kelly is Esquire’s “Sexiest Woman of 2010″ Posted: 11 Oct 2010 07:47 AM PDT I've never really gotten the appeal of Minka Kelly. I'm being serious - there are some women that I see photos of, and I can totally understand why straight men are totally into them. Megan Fox is like that - even though she annoys the hell out of me, and I know she's dumb as a rock, I "get" why men like her. Minka is not one of those girls, to me at least. Sure, she's pretty and she has a very wholesome, accessible cuteness about her. She's the kind of girl guys want to date because she seems nice, and like she won't laugh at you if you approach her. But she seriously looks like thousands of other girls-next-door, in my opinion. She also looks a lot like Leighton Meester. Whatever - just yet another example of how I don't know anything about men. Minka has been named Esquire's "Sexiest Woman Alive" for 2010. Previous "winners" have included Angelina Jolie, Scarlett Johansson, and Charlize Theron, amongst others. | Daniel Radcliffe dreams of banging Broadway dancers Posted: 11 Oct 2010 07:18 AM PDT These are a couple of photos from Daniel Radcliffe's cover shoot in the new issue of Dazed & Confused magazine. Even though I'm not a huge fan of whatever is going on in these photos, I like that Daniel isn't on the cover of Details in a wet shirt, posing with a muscle car. Although… if Dan did do that, it would be awesome and very campy. I like that he's artsy and interesting and game for doing weird photo shoots. Anyway, in case anyone was still ringing the "DanRad is gay" bell, he's not. He's just BFFs with every gay man and woman out there, and at the end of the day, he just wants to end up in bed with some lithe, hot female Broadway dancer. Sigh… I wish I was a lithe Broadway dancer RIGHT NOW.

I know he sounds like a poon-hound in this interview, but I get the feeling he treats his girlfriends like gold and is probably pretty romantic and sweet. | Eminem talks about misogyny & homophobia with Anderson Cooper Posted: 11 Oct 2010 06:56 AM PDT I'm sad to say that I missed Anderson Cooper's interview with Eminem last night on 60 Minutes. First of all - Eminem, clean and sober and thoughtful, on 60 Minutes is kind of awesome. I've said this before, but I've really begun to respect Eminem lately. His interviews to promote his latest album have shown how interesting and intelligent he is, and how he really does have a maturing and increasingly inclusive world-view. In his New York Times profile, Eminem even came out in support of gay marriage, and he's given a lot of credit to Elton John for Elton's help and support in getting clean. At about 8:30 mark on the video below, Anderson challenges Eminem on his lyrics, his language, especially regarding violence, misogyny and homophobia. Eminem lets the word "f-ggot" fly (in front of Anderson!).
Well… Eminem didn't really answer the question the best way, honestly. Would I like Em to actually apologize for some of the language he's used in the past? Sure. But I do understand what he's basically trying to say - that he was going through a process, that those are the words he heard around him, that he is an artist who is still growing. I'm not defending the use of those words, just that I understand what a journey Em has been through, and how far he's come.    |
| Kristen Stewart actually smiles during her date night with The Sparkler Posted: 11 Oct 2010 06:27 AM PDT These are new photos of Robert "The Sparkler" Pattinson and Kristen Stewart last night in Beverly Hills - they are in the back of a cab, which… is kind of awesome. I’ve always pegged Kristen as a more of a weed kind of girl, and The Sparkler as more of a drunk, and it's good to see two young people hire a taxi because they know that they're going to be really f-cked up at the end of night. They also look f-cked up, in a good way. Instead of looking blitzed to the point of curmudgeonly paranoia, K-Stew is ACTUALLY SMILING. I told you on the Gerard Butler post - today is going to be a good day. Gerard has been spotted, and the paparazzi got a shot of Kristen laughing. It's like the angels are singing. I read an interesting theory in one of the tabloids last week, although I don’t care enough to look it up and actually quote from it. Basically, the piece said that Pattinson was totally fine with “going public” with this relationship, and he wants to be able to walk a red carpet with Kristen, and hold her hand in public and everything. And Kristen is all “Not so much, Sparkler.” Apparently, she really, really does not want to be public in any way with The Sparkler. This story made me sad - probably because I think it’s true. The Sparkler wants the world to know that Kristen is his girlfriend, and that he loves her. And Kristen is paranoid. Anyway, back to the photos. The Sparkler and K-Stew went to Matsuhisa restaurant for dinner. That's it, as far as I can find - they didn't go clubbing or anything, so I guess they just got high, went out for sushi, and drank a lot of sake and got happy. They're going to start work on Breaking Dawn (that's the next one, right?) in a few weeks. I guess they'll be filming it in Canada again, where they've shot all the others. The Canadian photographers are less intrusive, so I suspect we won't have the daily, or even weekly, paparazzi shots of The Sparkler and Kristen looking so cute together. Enjoy it while you can, and let the conspiracy theories commence!    |
| Matt Damon & his very pregnant wife Lucy look hot at ‘Hereafter’ premiere Posted: 11 Oct 2010 06:06 AM PDT Last night was the premiere of Matt Damon's new film, Hereafter, which was directed by Clint Eastwood. Matt walked the red carpet with his wife Luciana or "Lucy". I know many of you bitches don't like Lucy and spin wild conspiracy theories about her, but I think she's probably a really nice woman. Matt isn't a fool, and I think he just went for a nice, low-key woman who wanted to have a big family, just like him. I'm kind of losing count as to which pregnancy she's on - this is her third baby with Matt, right? They'll have three kids and Matt is step-dad to her daughter from a previous relationship. Maybe he keeps knocking her up because she looks so cute when she's pregnant? Lucy looks seriously lovely in this animal-print dress, especially from the side, where you can see she's carrying really well. And I'll just say a word about CB's lover, Matt Damon: my God, he's looking f-cking hot these days. After gaining and losing weight for roles over the years, Matt seems to have finally solidified and "filled out" - keeping a boyish quality while still finally looking like a handsome MAN. Also, I f-cking love his glasses. I've needed to get new frames for about a year, and I think I'm going to bring these photos in and tell my optometrist that I want these frames. All in all, Lucy and Matt are such a hot couple. And I buy it, you know? I buy that they're in love and they're happy and that he honestly adores his wife. Does that make me naïve? I don't care. I buy it. As for the film - well, I don’t really want to see it. It looks depressing, and like it’s… grief-porn, I guess. Here’s the trailer: Eh. | Gerard Butler’s first appearance in months - how does he look? Posted: 11 Oct 2010 05:44 AM PDT Doesn't my lover Gerard Butler look incredible? Edible? Sigh… it's been SO long since we've had paparazzi photos of him - and he hasn't walked a red carpet since the Cannes Film Festival, back in May. It was a long, hot, dry summer without my beloved Butler. Anyway, these are shots of Gerard in New York City - I thought he was filming scenes for a new movie, but he's actually shooting a commercial for L'Oreal. You forgot that he's now the puffy face and official moobs of L'Oreal, didn't you? He's the face/moobs of L'Oreal Paris's "Men's Expert Hydra Energetic". It's probably face cream for men, maybe? Something to moisturize your moobs? I don't know. All I know is that he looks great. Well, he looks great for the most part. Since I didn't see him much over the summer, not since he was filming Machine Gun Preacher with a detachable mullet, I assumed he went to his fallback position: eating everything deep-fried and dipped in butter. But he seems to be taking decent care of himself, although the photos of Gerard on the motorcycle with his grumpy face… well, those aren't that flattering. But the rest of the photos are nice - I really like his hair these days. I like that he’s growing it out a bit. I want to run my fingers through it. I want his grumpy face to tickle my thighs. All in all, though, I am just SO HAPPY. Today is going to be a good day, y'all. Gerard had been spotted! Cross your fingers that he didn't get someone pregnant this summer. For real. | Did Katherine Heigl’s bad attitude contribute to her film’s unsuccessful open? Posted: 11 Oct 2010 05:20 AM PDT I'm uncomfortable saying that Katherine Heigl's new film, Life As We Know It, bombed. Did it do as well as expected? No, it didn't. Many of the professional predictors claimed that the film would earn the number one spot, and it didn't. Instead, The Social Network won the box office again this week, for the second week in a row, and Life As We Know It took second place:
[From Huffington Post] So this has caused some critics to openly question whether Dame Heigl can still open a movie, although they're quick to point out that Heigl's film did better than Drew Barrymore and Jennifer Aniston's latest rom-coms. But - it probably isn't all that great in the end, if people are openly questioning whether Heigl's big mouth and bitchy attitude hurts a film's performance. It would also help if she stopped making crappy movies, in my opinion.    |

[From People] Good for Rumer. I do think she inherited some of her mother’s insufferable extreme self importance, but she deserves happiness. This guy is so hot and he’s Australian! I felt like a creep for staring at him open-mouthed when he premiered on Glee, but he’s 21 and legal. Those lips of his are something else. Rumer is 22, although I had her pinned as 27 or 28. She just has a maturity about her that probably comes from her inflated sense of self. But again, good for her. She always seems to land the hotties. Let’s hope this one isn’t after her for the publicity. It doesn’t bode well that he’s hanging out with co-star Mark Salling. That kid is bad news. Rumer Willis is shown on 9/12/10 and 4/8/10.
