In the new issue of their magazine, they publish a feature article that talks about the album, yes, but also talks about her tour and the plan for there to be 6 singles released from Femme Fatale. According to RS, Femme Fatale is predicted to sell somewhere between 300,000 and 500,000 copies in its first week and the plan is for there to be 6 singles released from the album. I would DIE! But, considering that IMHO, every song on this album (including the bonus tracks) is single-material, I think it won’t be very difficult for Britney to release 6 singles from the disc. The article also mentions the tour with Enrique but we know now that that ain’t happening. The album has only just come out so … we are in for many months of great Britney news to come. It’s gonna be a fun Summer, y’all.
Remember last Summer when we learned that Buffyverse alum and current Bones actor David Boreanaz was being sued for sexual harassment by an actress who claimed that he harassed her unprofessionally after the two worked together on his show? Yeah, well, all these months later we learn that the lawsuit as been settled … and we will not be hearing any more about the sordid affair.
David Boreanaz has put a sexual harassment lawsuit behind him — the one where a “Bones” actress claims he came onto her while she worked on the show. Kristina Hagan — an extra — claimed David sent her “sexually inappropriate text messages,” saying he could “make things happen for her.” She made many other lurid claims as well. When the lawsuit was filed, David’s lawyer, legal pit bull Marty Singer, said the allegations were “absurd.” Kristina was repped by Gloria Allred, who sued both FOX and David. The terms of the settlement are confidential.
Of course, none of this should really come as any surprise to anyone. In Hollywood, all you need to do is pay the right price and you can usually make any problem go away. In the end, this settlement ends up being a win/win situation for everyone involved. Ms. Hagan wins a money settlement for damages and Boreanaz avoids having his dirty laundry aired in open court. Let’s just hope that homeboy has learned his lesson and will, from here on out, behave himself the way a married man should behave.
Paramount Pictures has released a new clip from the upcoming superhero film Thor, due out in May, that isn’t really a trailer per se … it’s just about a minute of footage from the film. The clip is quite humorous, especially the way it ends. Check it out in full below.
I’m thinking Kat Dennings is going to steal the show in this film. She tends to play funny roles very well and this deffo looks like a funny role. It’s crazy to think that the film we first heard about so long ago is almost due for release. I remember when Spring 2011 sounded like a lifetime away and … well, here we are. This clip is really fun. I wonder if we’ll get to see more clips before the film opens in May.
In an new interview about his new film Peep World (which co-stars comedienne Sarah Silverman), MCH briefly mentions this Dexter news:
I go back to Dexter in May, to start shooting Season 6. We'll go until late October and the show will air in mid-October, or something like that.
Now, it’s unclear if the upcoming season of Dexter has really been pushed back or if MCH was just speaking generally but I know that I do NOT want to wait any longer than I’ll have to for new eps of Dexter. We still have not heard who will feature in Season 6 as a guest star nor have we really heard about any plot developments. I suspect we’ll be hearing more soon because May is just around the corner. Still, it doesn’t really matter if Dexter comes out in September (I hope) or is pushed back to October (boo!) because I know the new season will be well-received by fans who are DYING for new Dexter!
Part historical fiction, part zombie thriller, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter will surely offer an interesting aesthetic blend on screen. I'd very much like to see what director Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted) and his crew have in store — for now this pair of set photos will have to do. If nothing else, we see Dominic Cooper in costume as Henry Sturgess and what may be Benjamin Walker as Abraham Lincoln. No sign of vampires yet, but vampires do not show up in photographs, so… Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Anthony Mackie, Alan Tudyk, Jimmi Simpson, and Robin McLeavy also star in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, scheduled for release on June 22, 2012.
And away we go. I’ve been really anxious for news about this film, especially since we learned that Reznor is attached to the project. I had assumed that the movie adaptation of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (which is being made by Natalie Portman) would be the first film to make it out of the production gate but it appears that Abraham Lincoln has taken the early lead. I’m curious to see more photos from the set. Wee!!
Don’t believe everything you read. As it turns out, I WON’T be working on (acting or scoring) ALVH after all. There’s no juicy story here, it’s just that when the news mysteriously leaked out about my involvement I hadn’t made up my mind completely, because various aspects of the project were changing. I felt the need to say something earlier this week because my inbox was filling up with speculation, and at that moment I thought I would be doing it. Confused yet? Apparently I am. Bottom line, I wish them the best with the film and I’m sure it will still be great. Also, in all the excitement of the last note I forgot to mention we’re still fully engaged with the Year Zero mini-series, writing away.
While this is a bummer, I am very happy to know that things are moving forward on the Year Zero TV series. I’m still excited for Vampire Hunter but, yeah, it would’ve been much cooler if Reznor was involved.
Hey guys, sorry for the confusion regarding a possible tour in the summer with Britney Spears. We are on the Euphoria tour and will continue to do so including some soon-to-be-announced dates in US. So hope to see all of you soon
This is what his rep had to say officially about his decision to pull out of the tour:
“Unfortunately, Enrique Iglesias and Britney Spears will not be touring together. Despite initial reports based on formal discussions of the possible run, Enrique will continue on his solo tour in support of his new album EUPHORIA. Enrique has great respect for Britney and is a longtime fan of her work. He is very sorry for the confusion this might have caused to anyone.”
This is what Live Nation, the tour promoter, is saying:
“Enrique Iglesias is no longer on this tour.”
Thus far, Britney Spears nor her camp has had anything official to say. Despite what I may personally believe about what really happened, I truly hope that these statements will put the entire matter to rest. IMHO, the fact that Britney and Enrique are not touring together is in everyone’s best interest and we can just move forward. Enrique can finish his already successful tour and Britney can get to work on finding a new touring partner. I can’t wait to find out who will be sharing the stage with our dear Britney!
Earlier this week I gushed a bit about my new Nintendo 3DS video game system and after a few days of playing with the amazing device, I kinda hafta gush some more. I continue to be impressed by how much fun the dang thing is. After my late, late night at the Salem show on Tuesday, I was way too wrecked to do anything really constructive yesterday so all I really did was play with my new pet dog and fired bombs at my friends’ faces. See, the Nintendo 3DS really is a marvelous device!
Among the games I’ve been playing with is Nintendogs … which allows me to raise and play with my very own 3D dog (my new French bulldog Frenchie is featured above). Trust me, it’s prolly the closest I’ll get to being a dog owner ever so … it’s a big step for me. I’ve also fallen in love with Face Raiders … an AR game that lets you use your friend’s faces as the enemy … you can see Darion’s face above.

Yesterday we got to see photos of actress Adrianne Palicki in full costume as Wonder Woman filming action scenes in Hollywood and today we get to see more photos and VIDEO from the set. As you may recall, we happily learned yesterday that the new Wonder Woman costume has been FIXED to look much better than it initially did in the first official photo we saw a few weeks ago. Today we not only get to see photos of WW in action but we get to see some video as well.
The more is see Adrianne in action as Wonder Woman, the more I like her. I always thought she had the right look for the part … and now, thankfully, the new costume looks right as well. It’s been updated for a new era and yet, it still is similar enough to the original look to be unmistakably Wonder Woman. I like what I see … including these fun behind-the-scenes photos of Adrianne‘s Wonder Woman gettin’ primped for the cameras:

I’m SO glad that I love the new costume now. This way, I can be excited for the new Wonder Woman series. I’m hoping that if the producers can listen to fans about the costume, they will listen to fans about the script. This new Wonder Woman could be amazing … just like the original series from the 70′s was/is :D C’mon, this looks great, don’t it?
Arnold Schwarzenegger may not be the governor of California anymore but that doesn’t mean that he isn’t still the Governator. Ahhhnold has teamed up with comic book legend Stan Lee for a new comic book series titled The Governator based on a fictional Schwarzenegger superhero character. Ahhhnold and his Governator character are featured on the cover and in the pages of this week’s issue of Entertainment Weekly magazine.

And now, in this week's exclusive cover scoop, Arnold Schwarzenegger reveals his plans for the next phase of his extraordinary career: He's going be a cartoon superhero, known as The Governator. "When I ran for governor back in 2003 and I started hearing people talking about 'the Governator,' I thought the word was so cool," Schwarzenegger, 63, tells EW in his first press interview since leaving office last January. (Watch an EW-exclusive video of Schwarzenegger talking about the project.) "The word Governator combined two worlds: the world of politics and the movie world. And [this cartoon] brings everything together. It combines the governor, the Terminator, the bodybuilding world, the True Lies…" The animated TV show and comic book, being co-developed by no less a superhero authority than Spider-Man co-creator Stan Lee (pictured, right), won't be out until next year, but this week EW offers an exclusive early look at Arnold's cartoon alter-ego. "The Governator is going to be a great superhero, but he'll also be Arnold Schwarzenegger," Lee says of the semi-fictional character. "We're using all the personal elements of Arnold's life. We're using his wife [Maria Shriver]. We're using his kids. We're using the fact that he used to be governor. Only after he leaves the governor's office, Arnold decides to become a crime fighter and builds a secret high-tech crime-fighting center under his house in Brentwood." Along with the Arnold Cave, the Governator will have a fleet of super vehicles at his disposal, a closet full of "Super Suits" that allow him to fly and perform other super stunts, and a team of colorful sidekicks, such as Zeke Muckerberg, the precocious 13-year-old computer whiz who acts as the Governator's cybersecurity expert. Naturally, there will also be recurring supervillains — including an evil organization called Gangsters Imposters Racketeers Liars & Irredeemable Ex-cons (or G.I.R.L.I.E. Men, for short). For Schwarzenegger, the cartoon is obviously the next best thing to being President. "I love the idea of a control center below my house with a path so that boats and submarines can go right into the ocean," he tells EW. "In the cartoon, my house is much closer to the beach than where we live, but, you know, it's a cartoon."

You know, I’m not at all an Ahhhnold fan but … this is kinda cool, I guess. I think the world is much better off with Schwarzenegger NOT in political office … but as a comic book character, yeah, I’m OK with that. I sincerely doubt this comic book series, which is really just a vanity project, will stand the test of time but … it’s fun. I can dig it. What do y’all think? Great news, Betty White fans!! Our favorite Golden Girl is returning to NBC!! No, she won’t be hosting another ep of Saturday Night Live (at least, not yet) but she is getting her own TV show from the network. Betty White is making the transition to reality TV with a new candid camera-like prank show that is called Betty White’s Off Their Rockers where senior citizens play pranks on young people. Um, does this sound brilliant or what?
NBC will broadcast “Betty White's Off Their Rockers,” (working title) a new hidden-camera comedy show hosted and executive-produced by seven-time Emmy Award winner Betty White, it was announced today by Paul Telegdy, Executive Vice President, Alternative Programming, NBC and Universal Media Studios. The series of 12 half-hour episodes will be produced by Kinetic Content, the new company run by Chris Coelen (“Secret Millionaire”). Known throughout Europe as “Benidorm Bastards,” “Betty White's Off Their Rockers” follows a band of seven senior citizens who make it their mission to play pranks on unsuspecting younger people. “Betty White is a comedic genius who escalates hilarity in any situation,” said Telegdy. “Viewers will thoroughly enjoy watching her pull one over on the unsuspecting youth of America.” “People have been telling me that I'm 'Off My Rocker' for years — now I can prove it,” commented White. “NBC is a terrific home for great comedy and Betty White's mischievous sense of humor is a perfect fit with this format which has shattered ratings expectations and garnered critical acclaim in every territory around the world,” said Coelen, CEO of Kinetic Content. What a great idea! I am so in love with this concept. Elderly people can be really funny … the thought of a group of older folks playing pranks on unsuspecting young folks is BRILLIANT! I think NBC is very smart to partner with Betty on this project. She is the perfect name and face to attach to this project. My guess is that Betty will host the show … but I am hoping she’ll participate in a prank or two as well. Oh and speaking of Betty‘s amazing stint on SNL, can you believe it’s been almost a YEAR since she hosted SNL last May? Dang, time sure flies don’t it? Now that Betty is back in the NBC family, I wonder if we’ll get to see her host SNL again soon? That would rule … and so will Betty‘s new show Off Their Rockers. I can’t wait to see it!!
It was the picture that caused consternation, amusement and not a little shock the world over – and now Katie Holmes has explained why her four-year-old daughter Suri Cruise came to be carrying some rather X-rated sweets earlier this month. Katie had taken Suri and some friends to a New York restaurant specialising in desserts when the little girl was spotted holding a box of ‘penis gummies.’ But in an interview for The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which airs tomorrow, the 32-year-old explained she thought they were ‘Swedish Fish’ – fish-shaped jellies as she laughed off the incident. Katie explained: ‘Recently, I took her to get ice cream in New York at this place called Serendipity that we go to all the time. It's for kids. We go in and we are waiting for a table and she grabs some gummies that are boy part gummies. I was horrified.’ Katie was clearly still so embarrassed by the episode, she couldn’t bring herself to actually say what the sweets were. So the former Dawson’s Creek star spelled it out to show host Ellen, saying: ‘P-e-n-i-s gummies. I said, oh wow those aren't Swedish Fish.’ Ellen, 53, interjected and joked: ‘Even I know that, I know the difference there!’ Katie laughed and continued: ‘They are called p-e-n-i-s gummies and they look like it. She was holding the box and I was like okay, wow we don't need that right now. Because I thought if I said “put that back!” and then she's going to say, “what is this?” And I really didn't want to have that conversation. ‘I was like, why are they selling these here? This is for kids. And then it was on the cover of a magazine that I'm giving her those gummies.’
Um … I wonder who long it’s been since Katie Holmes has seen a penis … because if she’s confusing penises with fish, there’s something amiss there. Hee hee. In all honesty, I don’t think anyone seriously believed that Katie gave her those penis gummies. In news that will prolly come as no surprise to most, Shakira has finally publicly acknowledged a personal romantic relationship with Spanish footballer Gerard Piqué on her official Twitter profile. There has been chatter for months that the pair have been an item but this week, Shakira finally decided to go public and acknowledge the relationship. Referring to Gerard as her “sunshine” (which also references her new sun-inspired album), Shakira posted a cute pic of the happy couple.
After months of speculation, Shakira has confirmed her relationship with Spanish footballer Gerard Pique in a thoroughly modern method. The Colombian pop star, 34, has bypassed confirmations by her publicist and magazine deals and instead posted a romantic picture of the couple on Twitter. The romantic snap shows the smiling pair in front of a beach setting with the sun beaming down on them and their arms wrapped around each other, with the simple message: ‘I present to you my sunshine.’ Shakira and the 24-year-old centre-back became the focus of intense media attention earlier this month when gossip magazines published photographs of the couple holding hands and kissing in Barcelona. Shakira announced at the start of the year that her 11-year relationship with lawyer Antonio de la Rua, 37, the eldest son of the former Argentinian premier, amid rumours that he had been cheating on her. And last month, Pique , who plays for FC Barcelona, uploaded a photograph from his birthday on February 2 of himself and the Colombian singer celebrating with friends. The singer first met Pique last spring while shooting the video to her song Waka Waka (This Time for Africa) – the official track of the 2010 World Cup. Barcelona-based newspaper El Periodico de Catalunya claimed they had a string of secret encounters following their initial meeting. It said they both spent a night in the seven-room Hotel Atzaro in Ibiza last July. The footballer is said to have arrived and left wearing the same clothes. However, Shakira has previously dismissed reports of a romance. At a press conference in Barcelona she described the claims as a ‘waka-rumour’ and added: ‘You shouldn’t take any notice of waka-rumours.’ Pique was also quick to deny that they were lovers, telling reporters last month: ‘We’re just friends. There’s nothing more to it.’ But in February, the pair were spotted holding hands as they left a restaurant in Barcelona. Shakira announced her split from De La Rua, son of former Argentine president Fernando de la Rua, on her official website in January. The couple said: ‘During our almost 11 years together we have loved each other deeply, taken care of each other and stood by one another. They have been the most wonderful years of our lives, and thanks to that love and the respect we have shared for one another, we have been an exceptional couple and partners. Our friendship and understanding of one another is unwavering and indestructible.’ The couple added that they viewed their separation as temporary, and that de la Rua – who is also Shakira’s agent – would continue to oversee the singer’s business and career interests. ‘We move forward together as partners, developing projects together, working hand in hand and in close communication,’ the pair said.
It’s pretty clear that Shakira‘s old relationship is really over now that she is talking publicly about her new relationship. I imagine it was very difficult for Shakira to keep her relationship with the very hawt Gerard Piqué a secret … I mean, would YOU want to keep this guy under wraps? My guess is that because of the personal/professional nature of Shakira‘s relationship with De La Rua, the couple decided to play as coy as possible about their split. Apparently those concerns have been settled and now the time is right to brag go public about this new love. They make a cute couple, I think. Let’s hope these two can keep it together happily ever after.
Elton John will appear on Saturday Night Live this weekend as both the host and musical guest. To promote Elton‘s appearance on the show, SNL released 2 promo videos for his appearance … both of which are, IMHO, kinda funny. Episodes of SNL are very hit and miss for me … let’s hope this weekend’s ep is more of a hit than a miss.
He is known for having a good sense of fun and a quirky style. So it is no surprise that Elton John is the latest celebrity up for hosting duties on U.S sketch comedy show, Saturday Night Live. The 64-year-old singer will not only host the popular programme this coming April 2, but will also be a musical guest. For his first time hosting the show, Elton does a throw back to English comedian Benny Hill. Stills for the promo show the singer running around in the style of the legendary comedic actor. He is seen chasing SNL cast-mate Jason Sudeikis around the studio after Jason claims to have stolen his sunglasses.
These clips are cute, I am really looking forward to the ep. I had no idea that Elton had never hosted the show before. Considering how long he’s been in the biz, you’d expect that he might’ve hosted the show a time or two. I’m pretty sure he’s been a musical guest before, tho. I know Elton John can be funny … let’s hope the folks at SNL give him the right material to be funny with :)
We’ve known for some time that Kingston James McGregor, the eldest son of Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, is a little fierce fashionista … but did you also know that his a wicked ladies’ man as well? ‘Tis true. Kingston, while chillin’ at the park yesterday with his father, managed to successfully put the moves on a young girl who seemed very smitten with the lad. Of course, Kingston needed a bit of coaching from his dad but … in the end, Kingston got the girl’s phone number. That’s pretty slick for a 5 year old kid.
Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdales eldest son Kingston has always appeared to be a confident little boy. And yesterday the four-year-old showed he had inherited his parents’ charm as he sat chatting with a girl he met in the park. The youngster even appeared to swap phone numbers with her while on a boys day out at the park with his father, Bush front man Rossdale. At first, a nervous-looking Kingston needed some encouragement from his father who reassured him before he sat for a while and chatted with the young lady. Initially the fashion forward tot, wearing jeans and a white vest, tried to hide behind his father who grinned and helped his son by talking to the girl himself. Eventually Kingston built up the confidence to sit down on the wall next to her and begin talking. In an adorable and touching moment in the young boy’s life, the little girl and Kingston then appeared to swap phone numbers on their matching iPhones. After spending some time being pushed on the swings the father and son duo then headed back to their car to head home. ‘That was a big moment…It was like watching him tie his shoes for the first time,’ Gavin was over heard saying as he walked to the car.
LOL! Let’s forget for a moment that it’s really odd for a 5 year old kid to have a cellphone and just marvel at how cute this is. You can just tell that Kingston pretty dope for a little kid. He deffo has a style all his own and deffo has a lot of personality. I’m guessing that he will grow up to be quite the little star one day. After all, he’s already got his first groupie/fan … can superstardom be far behind?

Aww, what a cute family! Little Skyler looks like a doll and I bet Rodger is THRILLED to have a son (especially considering how girly girl Rachel is). I’m surprised, tho, that Rachel decided to release this photo as our first introduction to Skyler. It looks like a washed out mobile phone photo … I mean, it’s not terrible but it’s not all that slick either. Maybe Rachel is letting motherhood calm her down a bit so she no longer needs everything to be absolutely perfect. Whatever the case may be, let’s send our love and congrats to the newly expanded family one more time. Cute, cute baby!
