‘Torchwood: Miracle Day’ Releases A New Captain Jack Harkness Poster

A couple of weeks ago we got to check out the first (kinda crappy) teaser poster for the upcoming 4th season of Torchwood. Just last week, we got to see a teaser trailer for Torchwood: Miracle Day. Today we get to check out a new, international poster for Torchwood … and this new poster features main character Captain Jack Harkness. Check out the poster below.


This poster is DEFFO better than the first teaser poster we got … but I still want to see more. As I understand it, Miracle Day will exist as Torchwood season 4 but also as a brand new show (which makes sense since it is set here in the US rather than in the UK like the previous seasons). I also understand the new season will feature a very … sexually active Capt. Jack. Because he likes to have sexual relations with pretty much any and everyone, it should be a very sexy season. I am very excited for this new season, yes, but I really wish Starz would invest more money into the promo materials. Thus far, everything we’ve seen looks cheap. I wanna be wowed.

Nicole Richie Takes The Kiddies To The Park

Nicole Richie and her beautiful children Harlow Winter Kate and Sparrow James Midnight to a local park here in SoCal yesterday so that they could enjoy the amazing weather we’ve been enjoying this week. Check out below a few super cute photos of Nicole and the kiddies on their little park playdate together.


I cannot even deal … these kids are adorable. Harlow looks exactly like a mini Nicole and Sparrow is a mini Joel. They are just so cute. I’m not sure if Nic/Joel are thinking about having more children but I, for one, would LOVE it if they had at least one more baby. If they continue to make kids this cute, then they shouldn’t stop now ;)

A trailer for the new Steve Carell film Crazy Stupid Love has made its way to the Internets and in the clip, co-star Ryan Gosling gets NEKKID! Now, before you blow your collective tops, because it’s only a movie trailer we don’t really get to see anything … but we get a nice of tease of Ryan‘s nekkid body and, WOOT, is it worth your time. Britney Spears Talks Possible Wedding Plans With ‘Us Weekly’ Magazine

Britney Spears, who has the #1 song in the country this week atop the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart, is featured on the cover of the new issue of Us Weekly magazine. In her coverstory interview, Britney teases that she and boyfriend Jason Trawick may end up walking down the aisle together. Altho she doesn’t come out and confirm that the couple are planning on getting married, she does hint that it could happen.

She’s already been married twice, but is Britney Spears ready to become a bride once more for love Jason Trawick? As she enjoys blockbuster sales and the strongest reviews of her career for seventh studio album Femme Fatale, Spears, 29, tells all in the new Us Weekly (out Wednesday) about finding Mr. Right in agent Trawick, 39, her boyfriend of over two years. “We have such a great time together!” Spears tells Us exclusively. “He makes me laugh, and we are so comfortable being ourselves.” Marriage plans? “Maybe,” she teases. “Never say never!” Indeed, a family source tells Us that the blissful pair will likely wed. Trawick, after all, the source says, “was one of the only people who stuck by her through everything,” including Spears’ dark 2007 and early 2008 — when she lost custody of her sons Sean, 5, and Jayden, 4, to ex Kevin Federline, and was briefly admitted to a psychiatric hospital. “[Jason] was someone she felt she could be her true self with. [Marriage] is what they talk about and the direction they’re going in,” the insider says. Whatever and whenever their nuptial plans, one thing is certain, Spears tells Us: “I’ve never been happier!”

Maybe is deffo NOT a no. I’ve always thought that Britwick were on the wedding track … but because they don’t seem to be in any big hurry, it looks like they are just taking their time enjoying the relationship that they have. I have always liked Jason for Britney … I think they would make a great married couple. I hope that the couple do get married at some point. I would LOVE to see Britney as a bride again … this time, with the right guy. What do y’all think? Will we see Britney and Jason married soon?

As you Gleeks know, Kurt was bullied out of his school last year and this new ep will herald his return to William McKinley High … with new boyfriend Blaine in tow. I would seem that Blaine is going to do more than just stand by Kurt in support … he is going to physically stand up for him as well. This new episode of Glee is one of the most anticipated of the season … will it meet expectations? I guess we’ll find out in 2 short weeks.

Q & A-mazing Fun

Last night night David and I were invited to help celebrate our dear Mariqueen’s birthday at ChoSun Galbee Korean BBQ last night and we had an absolute blast celebrating with all of her family and friends. The party was a surprise so it was pretty much mum’s the word until the big surprise went down. I think we managed to surprise her pretty successfully … the look on her face when she walked into the room full of people was just perfection!


Not only was the company fantastic but the food was really amazing. We ate our faces off and then were treated to the most delicious desserts available. For some reason, David and I couldn’t get enough of our friend Genevieve’s beautiful baby girl Audrey. The precious little girl just manages to get cuter and cuter every time we see her. It was all we could do to keep from stealing her away and bringing her home with us. We’re planning a playdate with Gen and Audrey tomorrow so … expect more photos. I want to formally extend all my Birthday Lurve to Mariqueen today for her birthday yesterday. I hope she had a fantastic day … we had a blast celebrating with her :)

Tonight, David and I are planning to get together with Ollie and Caleb — who have been gallivanting in London for that past week. I’m dying to hear about their trip :) It’s a gloomy Wednesday here in SoCal today … I hope your Hump Day is going well.

Is Angelina Jolie Planning To Adopt A New Child?

Yesterday we saw photos of Angelina Jolie in Tunisia bringing attention to Libyan refugee relief in the area in her role as United Nations Goodwill Ambassador and in those photos, a new tattoo was spotted on Angelina‘s arm. Angelina has famously gotten latitude/longitude coordinates inked on her arm that correspond with the places in the world where her 6 children were born. A 7th coordinate is now inked on Angelina‘s arm … which has triggered chatter that Angelina is adopting a 7th child?

When it comes to tattoos, Angelina Jolie is certainly no blank canvas. And yesterday, the actress revealed yet another etching, which adds to a collection of her most significant inkings. The 35-year-old now has a seventh line of co-ordinates signifying the birthplaces of her six children, which has been added as recently as a few months ago. While the full co-ordinates cannot be made out in the photo, the new inking has led to all manner of speculation – raising the question whether The Tourist star has another adoption in the process. However, other reports suggest the numerics refer to the latitude and longitude of her partner Brad Pitt’s birth place, Oklahoma. Jolie’s new artwork was snapped as she toured a refugee camp yesterday on the Tunisian-Libyan border. She is currently there in her capacity as a UN goodwill ambassador to appeal for aid for the thousands fleeing war-torn Libya.

While it is possible that the 7th set of coordinates refers to Brad‘s birthplace, it’s also just as likely that a new child is on the way … and we just don’t know about it yet. IF Angelina and Brad are finished having children — which is very possible — then it would make sense for her to get the tattoo in Brad‘s honor. What do y’all think? Is Ange paying homage to Brad‘s birthplace with this new tattoo … or do YOU think Brangelina are about to add another child to their brood?

Elle magazine is paying homage to Women in Music this month and they have chosen Gwen Stefani (who has enjoyed much success fronting No Doubt and as a solo artist) to grace the cover of this special issue. Gwen is joined by music legends Aretha Franklin and Stevie Nicks in this Women in Music issue along with newcomers Adele, Willow Smith, Florence Welch and more! Check out below Gwen‘s beautiful Elle magazine coverphoto and read excerpts from not only her interview with the magazine but quotes from the other women featured in this fantastic new issue of Elle.

On writing hits: "I do! Why wouldn't you want that many people listening to the songs that you wrote? There's no way to go back after you have had it. So the intentions of even the solo records were always about trying to write those guilty-pleasure albums that just get in your head and you can't get out. I'm not cool, I'm not into the B-sides. Prince, who is one of my idols, gave me some advice when I worked with him: "Have you ever just tried writing a hit? Like, don't just try writing a song, try and write a hit song." I remember him saying that and me thinking, Yeah, you're right. Why would you write anything else?"

On her marriage to Gavin Rosdale: "The first time we ever kissed was right around Valentine's Day—we were in New Orleans on tour. So, yeah, I always think about that because it's unbelievable that we've been able to stay together. I feel so proud of us—it's one of my biggest achievements."

On performing while pregnant: "It was horrible. Certain songs would make me want to puke. You feel pretty gross when you are first pregnant. You don't feel cute, you feel disgusting. You're getting fat. It was hard."

On her appearance: "I mean, I'm very vain. That would be my middle name. Of course I am, you know what I mean? I love the visual.”

On whether Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Katy Perry have taken a page out of her playbook when it comes to style: "Really? I don't see myself in those girls. I usually put pants on. I see these girls as more going for the sex-symbol thing. I was more, in the band, like a tomboy. Of course, I think every girl is sexy, so there's going to be a little of that. But I see a lot of younger artists going more toward the sexy thing."

On pop music: “When we were growing up, some of the hits were legendary ones that you hear your whole life. But certain songs, I don't know if you'll ever hear them again. Because that's what that music is, like a guilty pleasure, it's right at the moment. It's like fashion—it's now, then it's gone.”

I think Elle did a great job compiling this list of Women in Music. From baby Willow Smith to LEGEND Aretha Franklin, this issue really pays homage to the wide rage of women who are bringing the heat in music today. David Arquette Shares A Day At Disney World With Courteney Cox & Daughter Coco

Earlier this week we saw photos of Courteney Cox and her Cougar Town co-star Josh Hopkins frolicking together in St. Barts. A couple of days later, we saw new photos of Courteney and Josh playing with her daughter Coco Riley. Today we learn that Court and Coco have reunited with estranged hubby/father David Arquette for a family fun day at Disney World in Orlando, FL. David shared the happy photos on his official Twitter profile … check ‘em out below.

Throughout their separation Courteney Cox and David Arquette have made every effort to ensure their daughter Coco doesn’t suffer. And today the trio appeared every inch the happy family unit as they visited Disney World together, posing for a snap in front of the Cinderella Castle. Arquette, 38, appeared to be having as a good a time as his six-year-old, writing on his Twitter page: ‘Disney World really is the most Magical Place on Earth.’ Courteney, 46, and Coco have just returned from a sunshine holiday in St Barts, where they were joined by her Cougar Town co-star Josh Hopkins. But they headed straight to Orlando in Florida for some family time with Coco’s father. Courteney has made it clear her relationship with Hopkins is ‘strictly platonic’. Cox and Arquette separated last year after more than a decade of marriage, but he remains hopeful that the pair will get back together. He told Oprah last month: 'I know that I will be with her for my whole life.' And speaking of Arquette, Cox said on Extra: 'Oh my God, I'm so proud of him! (And he's the) best he's ever looked! He's so cute I'm like, dude, I don't understand. Really? Why are you that cute right now?' Despite not having sorted out their relationship status as yet, the two were pictured out shopping together recently and Cox revealed recently that she would have 'huge waves of pain' if their marriage did not survive. The couple split after completing filming on their upcoming movie Scream 4, which is released on April 15.

Whatever is going on between Courteney and David — whether they stay married or if they decide that the relationship just cannot work — it is very clear that they are very united by their family love. Even if they cannot make their relationship work, I absolutely believe that both Court and David will do everything possible to keep their family a strong unit. It’s very clear that they both love their daughter very much. These Disney World photos are really cute. I wish nothing but the best for them. I just hope things work out for the family in a way that is beneficial to all.

Britney Spears Scores Her 6th #1 Album With ‘Femme Fatale’

Congratulations are in order for our dear Britney Spears because she has made history today with her 6th #1 album on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart. With Femme Fatales debut atop the album chart this week, Britney not only becomes the ONLY female artist in history to have 6 albums debut at #1 but she is also the youngest artist in history to have #1 albums in 3 different decades. Britney Spears is #1 again! And that is cause for MUCH celebration.

Britney Spears flies in at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart with her sixth chart-topping album, “Femme Fatale,” selling 276,000 copies in its first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The feat ties her for the third-most No. 1s among women with Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson. Only Barbra Streisand (nine No. 1s) and Madonna (seven) have earned more No. 1s. Spears has hit the top with six out of her seven studio albums, only missing with 2007′s “Blackout,” which debuted and peaked at No. 2 (290,000). Her last effort, 2008′s “Circus,” started more robustly than “Femme Fatale,” as it launched at No. 1 with 506,000 following its Dec. 2 release. “Femme Fatale’s” debut of 276,000 is Spears’ second-lowest sales start with a studio set — only her 1999 debut effort, “Baby One More Time,” began with a smaller figure (121,000 at No. 1). Though, one could conclude that “Circus” was a more highly-anticipated album, in that it was seen as a “comeback” after a number of years where Spears’ personal and professional life was in chaotic high-gear. “Circus” was ushered in by the No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 single “Womanizer” — complete with a return-to-sexy-form music video. “Femme Fatale,” however, isn’t a comeback album. There’s nothing to come back from, aside from great success. Spears sold 1.7 million of “Circus” in the U.S., snared three top 20 Hot 100 singles from the set, and mounted a blockbuster global tour … Also worth noting is that “Femme Fatale” is Spears’ first album to see a spring release in over a decade. While her first set dropped in January of 1999 and her second offering, 2000′s “Oops! … I Did It Again,” came out in May of 2000, the rest of her catalog (even her hits packages and remix sets) were issued during the always-busy shopping period of November-December.

Altho Britney‘s first week numbers aren’t her highest ever, it should be noted that the music buying climate of consumers is vastly different than it used to be in year’s past. The record industry is dying a slow death … people just don’t buy music the same way they used to. And even still, Britney managed to outsell everyone else in the first week of her 7th album’s release. I am SO bummed that Blackout is Britney‘s only album not to go to #1 … it’s a fantastic album and if she were well enough to promote the album when it was released, it would’ve surely been her most successful album up to that time. IMHO, Femme Fatale is Britney‘s strongest album in years and is arguably the best album of her career. Britney Spears, makin’ history … as usual :) I’m gonna celebrate Britney‘s latest accomplishment by playing Femme Fatale on repeat today … just like I have been doing for the past 3 weeks :D Woot!!!

Jared Leto Pays Homage To Kurt Cobain By Looking Like Kurt Cobain

Yesterday, on the anniversary of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain‘s death, rock star/actor Jared Leto shared a video tribute on his official website that he made in honor of the late Cobain. Apparently, the video is a few years old and was made for a Cobain project that never came to fruition. In the clip, Jared — who purposely looks exactly like Kurt Cobain — performs an acoustic version of the Nirvana song Pennyroyal Tea. I’m not sure if the tribute is touching or creepy. Check it out below and judge for yourselves.

I heard today was the day Kurt passed away 17 years ago. Can't believe it's been that long. So grateful for his contribution and inspiration. Not sure I'd be doing this if it weren't for him. He gave us all permission to create no matter what our skill set and reminded me that dreams are possible. Thanks for that. This made me recall a short piece of film I shot when I heard they were making a film celebrating his life. I made it to explore the character and explore creative possibilities. I never sent it to the studio or to anyone but thought I'd share it now…


Firstly, yes … Jared bears an uncanny resemblance to Kurt in this clip. His performance of Pennyroyal Tea is pretty good but … I dunno … something about this tribute is just weird to me. It’s nice that Jared felt compelled to share this clip with us on the anniversary of Kurt‘s death. These sorts of videos, which are made for projects that never get made, rarely ever see the light of day. What do y’all think? Is this a fitting, touching tribute or is it just weird?

David Beckham Hangs Out With Justin Bieber (Kinda)

Last week we learned from David Beckham himself that his family was jokingly considering naming their forthcoming baby daughter after popstar Justin Bieber and yesterday Victoria Beckham tweeted a cute photo of Becks hanging out with the Biebs himself. Well, to be honest, Becks wasn’t hanging out with the actual Justin Bieber … just a cardboard cut-out version of Bieber … but the photo is really cute nonetheless. Check it out below.

LOL!! So cute!! I bet this is the kind of thing the Beckhams like to do from time to time … chill by the pool with their famous friends (cardboard or otherwise). I have to say, I really love having Vicki B. on Twitter. She really does share a lot of cute personal stuff with her followers. It’s a great way to see a different side of Les Beckhams. It’s a side that I can’t get enough of ;)

Oh and to be honest, I do this kind of thing … but while I don’t hang out with cardboard cut-outs of Justin Bieber, I have been known to spend some time with a cardboard cut-out of David Beckham :D

Last week we got to see a supercute personal photo shared by Mariah Carey of her colorfully decorated baby bump. Today we get another look at Mimi‘s beautiful belly which she bares on the cover of the new issue of Life & Style magazine. Mimi gives the exclusive interview and photospread to L&S so that she can GUSH about the coming birth of her twin babies — a girl and a boy. Mariah Carey has posed for her fair share of portraits, but none has been as personal or emotional as these exclusive belly-baring snaps. Mere days away from welcoming her first and second child, Mariah proudly showed off her pregnant body to Life & Style. "I was feeling very vulnerable about taking pictures at all right now, but then I didn't want to miss this opportunity to document this once-in-a-lifetime experience," Mariah exclusively tells Life & Style. "My ultimate goal was to share this incredibly personal moment with my true fans." And the twins — a boy and a girl — were clearly ready for their closeups. "The babies were kicking almost the entire time; it was unbelievable," Mariah tells Life & Style. "Especially the girl — clearly she's a diva in training! We didn't start shooting until 1:30 a.m. because I was in the hospital from the night before until the day of the shoot with contractions five minutes apart!" Indeed, although Mariah's not due for a few weeks, the twins could be making their grand entrance sooner rather than later. Contractions sent mom to the hospital on March 27. But for now, Mariah and soon-to-be-dad Nick Cannon are simply reveling in their twin bliss! And Nick says he is more attracted to his wife than ever. Wow! Mariah looks amazing! She looks SO ready to birth dem babies … I’m sure the twins will be born any second now. I understand that this issue of Life & Style hits newsstands on Friday and it’s deffo an issue worth picking up. I am so anxious to see the rest of the photos … but wouldn’t it be amazing if Mimi gave birth before the mag hits stands this week? She looks so beautiful, don’t she?
