The 83rd Annual Academy Awards Release The Third Promo Video Of Hosts Anne Hathaway & James Franco

After getting to see two semi-cute promo videos which feature co-hosts Anne Hathaway and James Franco (HERE and HERE) for the upcoming 83rd annual Academy Awards, today we get to see a third promo video. This one clocks in at 2 minutes and features quite a bit of back and forth banter that shows that the pair might actually be well-suited to co-host the Oscars together.


Anne and James are so cute in this video. I’m sold. I can’t wait to see them in action as Oscar co-hosts. They make a great pair, don’t you think? Do you love this video or what?

Exclusive: Will Lady Gaga Give Birth In Her Music Video For ‘Born This Way’?

Last month I reported music video details from the set of Britney Spears‘s new video Hold It Against Me that were passed on to me by a trusted source … and today, that source has provided tidbits from the music video set of Lady Gaga‘s new single Born this Way. Despite attempts to keep all information about the video quiet, I have some deets about what may appear in the video that sound very interesting. Read on …


I’m told that the vibe of the video, or at least portions of the video, have a futuristic Star Trek-y feel to it. The image used for the single cover artwork for Born this Way gives a good hint as to how the video will turn out. I’m told that Gaga will wear the prosthetic horns in the video that she wears in the BTW cover artwork and at some point she will give birth to … something … in the video. I’m also told that a horned figure, like the Devil, will appear. The video shoot was keep under tight security so this info comes from just a scene from the video … who knows how the rest of it will turn out.

So … there you have it. We shall see if these reported video deets turn out to be true but all of this sounds totally plausible. What do y’all think? Does this sound like it’s gonna be a cool music video?

Martha Wainwright Sings The Songs Of Edith Piaf

Last night I met up with Adriana at the Largo at the Coronet Theater here in LA to attend a live concert performance by Martha Wainwright. Martha is on tour performing the songs of Edith Piaf and I jumped at the chance to attend last night’s show. Without a doubt, Martha put on a fantastic show … a show that was so amazing that her older brother Rufus Wainwright just had to come on stage to duet with her.


I wasn’t able to get any photos of Martha on stage because the Largo is small and really Old Skool — no cell phones allowed. To be honest, listening to Martha perform Edith Piaf‘s songs really felt like we had gone back in time … any cell phone light in the place would’ve ruined the mood entirely. Many of the Piaf songs that Martha performed were taken from her album Sans Fusils, Ni Souliers, à Paris … Martha Wainwright’s Piaf Record which she graciously autographed for fans after the show. Her voice is stunning and she absolutely gets caught up in the high drama of the music … this is a show that YOU MUST SEE. Martha will perform a second show here at the Largo tonight before she takes off for other cities. You should check her out if you can, she puts on a fantastic show.

The Royal Wedding Of Prince William & Kate Middleton Gets A Commemorative Coin

In December we got our first look at the first ever British commemorative coin to celebrate a royal engagement — that of Prince William of Wales and Kate Middleton — but today we get our first look at a new coin that has been struck in celebration of the couple’s upcoming royal wedding. You will note that the coin bears no real resemblance to Prince Wills … particularly because of how full his head of hair is.

Prince William might have hoped he would look like this on his wedding day. But, with the best will in the world, it seems unlikely the 28-year-old will sport the full head of hair that he does on this medal designed to commemorate his marriage. Despite his relative youth, William has already inherited his father's receding hairline and marked bald patch – something about which his younger brother often teases him. And perhaps this latest image will give Prince Harry even more ammunition. For instead of an up-to-date likeness of William, the coins bear one more reminiscent of him as a baby-faced 18-year-old. The medals, which carry the words 'Celebrating the wedding of HRH Prince William & Catherine Middleton', are made by the 200-year-old Birmingham Mint. The independent mint said an artist drew inspiration from several images to create a likeness they believe is 'very accurate'. But the original design for the reverse had to be changed after staff realised the couple's initials spelled 'WC'. To avoid the sniggers, Miss Middleton's initial has been placed above that of her fiancée. Phil Majevadia, manager of the mint, said: 'The "WC" problem was picked up very early and reversed. We really wanted to capture a true likeness and tried to pick the best images given the time scale.' The first 1.5in medal – which resembles a coin but has no denomination or effigy of the Queen – was struck yesterday. The mint hopes to sell more than 100,000. Shoppers can buy them for £5 when they go on sale on Wednesday.

Look, I know if my head was going to be put on a coin, I’d want to look my best. If I were balding like poor Wills here, I’d absolutely NOT want my coin to reflect my thinning hairline. Unlike the coin we saw in December (which features Queen Elizabeth, II on one side and Wills & Kate on the reverse), this new coin has no cash value … it’s just a souvenir. Despite the generosity in hair, I think it’s pretty damn cool that Wills is starting to get his own coins. Does this look like something you’d like to add to YOUR collection of knick-knack crapola?

Harvey Weinstein Gets REALLY Grabby With Emma Watson

Movie making mogul Harvey Weinstein seems like the kinda guy who is used to getting what he wants … if he sees something he wants, he reaches out and grabs it. It would seem that that attitude was in full swing in London, England last night when Harvey decided to reach out and grab actress Emma Watson from behind. Emma, as you can clearly see, looked none too pleased about being manhandled by homeboy. Poor thing.

When faced with hordes of eager autograph-seekers and photographers as they left a party, Harvey Weinstein jumped to Emma Watson’s aid, chivalrously assisting her to their waiting car. But the young Harry Potter star, showing off her super stylish £1,700 Burberry Prorsum trench coat, appeard rather taken by surprise as the movie mogul escorted her through the crowd. The pair partied at Mahiki nightclub until 3am after attending a pre-BAFTA Awards party thrown by Weinstein at swanky Almada bar and restaurant in Mayfair. They arrived at the nightclub in the film chief’s Rolls Royce after toasting Colin Firth and The King’s Speech, produced by The Weinstein Company, and the runaway success of this year’s awards season.

I guess it was nice of Weinstein to try and protect little pixie Watson but isn’t it kind of presumptuous for a much larger man to put his hands on a smaller woman like this? Absent the horrified look on Emma‘s face, tho, I must point out that she looks fantastic! Love the hair, love the jacket … love the whole look. As for Harvey, dude, keep your paws off … for reals.

Kylie Minogue Credits Good Underwear As The Secret To Her Sexiness

Kylie Minogue has reveled one of the secrets to her enduring sexiness … it all comes down to good underwear ;) In a new interview, Kylie talks about how she manages to stay looking so youthful and, well, damn hot … and her answers may surprise you. Who knew that all it takes to look like a GODDESS is just a pair of good underpants?

KYLIE Minogue claims her sexiness is due to good underwear and body make-up. And, at 42, she has no plans to hang up her hotpants just yet. “My face has been outshone by my bottom,” she said. “It makes me laugh, and every time I pull on a pair of hotpants I think to myself, ‘this is the last time’, but it never is. I haven’t quite put an end date on hotpants yet.” In an interview with a British newspaper, Minogue said the key to looking good was knowing what suited her. There were a “lot of tricks to make everything look good, basically very good underwear and all-over body make-up. That’s my secret”, she said … “I cannot believe I’m 42. Part of me feels like I’m still 21 and I always will be. I’ve never had a problem with being a sex symbol. I’m a woman, and it’s a lovely compliment. It’s a nice feeling that people like how you look. When I’m in the retirement home, I’ll still be getting out my old costumes and feathers and putting on a show.”

I just love her so much. She rules all. But, as upbeat and happy as she tends to be, Kylie also has heartbreak of her own. She goes on to discuss the sad fact that she may never be able to have children of her own:

The Aussie pop darling, who is about to embark on her latest tour, Aphrodite Les Folies, revealed her heartbreak that she was unlikely to have children. “I have had an amazing life, but no one is exempt from illness,” she said. “You have to accept the good and bad in life, and I have to be honest and accept that after everything I’ve been through, the treatment for breast cancer, I may not actually be able to conceive. I would absolutely love to, but I just don’t think it’s going to happen, and that’s OK, because I’m well and I can enjoy the children around me.”

Kylie is truly a very special woman. She has been entertaining us for more than 20 years and she shows no signs of slowing down. I have no doubt that she will be putting on lavish costumed shows if/when she eventually ends up in the retirement home. Kylie has a spirit in her that will keep her young forever … and we are very lucky to have her. Mighty Aphrodite … that is Kylie Minogue.

Britney Spears Releases A Ninth Teaser For Her ‘Hold It Against Me’ Music Video

Britney Spears has just released the ninth teaser for her upcoming new music video for Hold It Against Me. With just 5 days to go until the video world premieres on MTV at 9:56 PM this coming Thursday February 17, we only have 5 more teasers to go (see how that works?). Check out today’s teaser below.


HMMM … personally, I think this is the least interesting of the teasers we’ve seen thus far. I fear that the teasers will be less and less exciting as we get closer to release day … primarily because they are deffo planning to not reveal too much, too soon. Here is today’s clip:

Lindsay Lohan Comments Publicly On The Egyptian Political Revolution

Yesterday the world was changed forever when the people of Egypt finally forced dictator president Hosni Mubarak to resign after 30 years in office. All around the globe, peace-loving people rejoiced in the news that Egypt was finally free of tyrannical rule. Among those people celebrating the news out of Egypt was none other than our very own trainwreck Lindsay Lohan. L. Lo was inspired to post a couple messages of support for the people of Egypt, even offering a little political advice as well. You gotta read this shit.

Congratulations to the people of Egypt. Your voices were heard and you proved that peaceful demonstrations are possible and effective …. x / And I pray Egypt maintains it’s treaty with Israel and sets the trend for its neighbors to create peace with Israel and the entire region

OMG … I’m DYING! Coming from Lindsay Lohan — LINDSAY LOHAN, people — this is THE most ridiculous thing I have EVER read in MY ENTIRE LIFE! We’re supposed to believe she actually wrote this?!? I mean, I get that Lindsay is trying to look clued in to world events by offering her congrats to the Egyptian people but there is no way in HELL that I believe FOR ONE SECOND that she has any concept of the political climate of the Middle East. What gets me most is that Lindsay Lohan, “pray[s] Egypt maintains it’s [sic] treaty with Israel and sets the trend for its neighbors to create peace with Israel and the entire region”. LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! We’re to actually believe SHE wrote THIS?! If this isn’t the surest sign that Linds is just a dumb little girl, I don’t know what is. OMG … I’m LITERALLY DYING. She needs to just shut up … like, seriously. OMG … dying …
