Oprah To Teach High School In South Africa!

Even with all the work that needs to be done on her network, Oprah is still finding new ways to be an inspiration to us all!!!

This fall, Oprah Winfrey will teach a high school class called It's Life 101 to girls at a school she opened in South Africa.

Here's what she had to say about her future students, whom she just visited during a trip:

"They were all stressed for tests, but doing fine. No major crisis this trip. I love being with them and talking to them about all things important. When I'm there I'm talking from the time I get up till I go to bed, about EVERYTHING teenage girls are going through. It's the same all over the world."

More from Oprah on how she feels about teaching the class:

"Should be fun since I love to teach. And they're like sponges. Like 12th graders everywhere, this first class is both anxious and excited about going to college. Most will be the first in their family. So it's a very big deal for them, and they're feeling the pressure.

Sounds like it will be an a-mazing experience!

And Oprah: If you need a TA, let us know! We'd LOVE to help you teach!!!! Ha!

After arriving at LAX, Paula Abdul's new boyfriend is unveiled!

The couple quickly separated from each other to avoid being photographed together, but it was too late!

As you can see below, the paps were able to snap a few quick shots of the couple canoodling together.

It looks like he's a bit younger than her too. Givin' that cougar label some more truth, we see!

Sick Taylor Swift Rescheduling More Tour Dates

Aww!

Poor Taylor Swift is still under the weather with that nasty, throat attacking illness!

A rep for the country princess released a statement on her Facebook:

Just wanted to update you guys on Taylor's health. She has bronchitis and although she is getting better, she has been advised by her doctor that she is not well enough to perform this week. Her concert dates in Charlotte and Atlanta have been rescheduled and she plans to resume the Speak Now tour in Montreal. Charlotte will now be November 16. Atlanta will now be October 1 & 2. Thank you for your concern!

It sucks for the fans who bought those tickets, but we're sure they can swing their schedule around to adjust accordingly.

Brooke Mueller Ready To Sue Charlie Sheen And Comedy Central

Charlie Sheen's ex-wife, Brooke Mueller, is threatening to sue if her name ever comes up during the anticipated Comedy Central Roast: Charlie Sheen.

While Comedy Central insists they're not concerned, saying the comedians will focus on tiger blood, machetes, goddesses and winning, Brooke's armor is still on.

Her reps say he better not go there, and with an agreement made in court for him to never speak publicly about her, she may have some clout if need be.

Don't worry, Brooke! They're far more interested in HIS crazy ways than yours.

Back in May, we learned that David Hasselhoff was getting fired from Britain's Got Talent.

At the time, we were wondering what he might do next, and now we know...he's going to join FX's Sons of Anarchy this October as a "well-endowed former porn star" named Dondo!

In the show, The Hoff's character produces "girl-on-girl skin flicks" for a living. Ha!

Congrats on the new gig, David AND congrats again on your role in Piranha 3DD!

What did we do to get so lucky to have SO MUCH HOFF in our lives??? LOLz!

Pete Doherty's Early Freedom From Prison

Living the rockstar life just got a little easier for Pete Doherty.

The Babyshambles rocker and former Libertines star was released from prison after only three months in a six-month sentence for cocaine possession.

On Tuesday, a statement was issued on the Brit rocker's website, saying:

On this bright sunny morning Peter was released from prison and thanks everyone for their valued support whilst inside.

Unfortunately, this isn't the end for Pete's legal woes. German authorities intend to press charges against him over an alleged careless intoxication burglary back in March which could lead to a five-year sentence.

Uh oh! Better go into drug rehab or do something quick to sway the judge!

Kim Kardashian Fires Back At Those Who Criticize Her Views On Casey Anthony Trial Over OJ Connection

How does that saying go - you can't judge a child by the sins of the father? It's something like that and definitely something to keep in mind if you plan on throwing some haterade into Kim Kardashian's face.

Because of her close tie to the OJ Simpson case, the world was extra interested in what Kim, the daughter of the defense lawyer in the famed murder trial, had to say about the not guilty verdict passed down in the Casey Anthony trial yesterday. When she tweeted that she was "speechless" over the ruling, she was quickly bombarded with critics who compared the outcome to OJ being found not guilty with her father's help.

Not on to back down from a fight, especially when her father's honor is on the line, Kim fired back in a subsequent tweet, saying:

"Reading the comments here &its nuts people think just bc I was close to the OJ trial I can't have my own opinion on the Casey Anthony case?"

Agreed. It's called differentiating, people. Both were horrific crimes and both had outrageous outcomes ... but Kim had nothing to do with either and she is entitled to her opinion on BOTH cases.

Spader Joins The Office!

But not as Michael's replacement like we thought!

No, in fact, according to the press release, James Spader joins the team and ends up taking over the company in a few days -- if you remember (and of course you do, it was the most memorable cameo), his character has bizarre persuasion/jedi powers:

"James will reprise his role as Robert California, this uber-salesman that has a power to convince and manipulate, like a high-class weirdo Jedi warrior," said Paul Lieberstein, one of the series' executive producers and a series regular. "He'll have been hired over the summer as the new manager, but within hours, got himself promoted. Within days, he took over the company. James has an energy that is completely his own, and 'The Office' has no tools for dealing with this guy. We're thrilled he's joining our cast."

Too funny!

But, alas! No word on who is taking over for Steve Carell just yet!

Over 1 Million People Watched The Casey Anthony Verdict Live On CNN Website!

Wow.

Yesterday during 2-3 p.m. est, when the Casey Anthony verdict was announced, over 1 million users visited CNN.com/live to witness the results of the trial. This is 30 times higher than the previous 4 week average for that time period! Wow again.

During the same period of time, CNN.com had approximately 12 million page views, which is 4 times higher than the previous 4 week average. Wow a third time.

Guess this is what happens when the verdict for a major trial is announced in the afternoon on a work day.
