FOOLYWANG TV: Tamar Braxton Gifts Holly Robinson Peete Some Chitlins! + Bill Cosby Says Donald Trump Is "Full Of It"

The Braxtons stopped by "The Talk" recently and they brought along a present for the women's panel....chitlins!  Wrapped up in a fancy ziplock bag, watch the Braxtons brag about momma Evelyn's cooking inside and watch Bill Cosby take a swipe at Donald Trump ....

 

On another episode "The Talk" hosts taped previously, there was a discussion where Holly Robinson Peete said she did not like chitlins.  But because Tamar Braxton was watching that show, she brought a little gift with her when teh Braxton sisters rolled to the talk show this week to do some promo.

Tama said that chitlins were dear to her heart.  So she decided to pack some in a ziplock bag, then place them in a fancy silver gift bag, and present them to the panel.

She even told Sharon Osbourne that the chitlins smelled good because her mom pulled the membrane out!

And lately, we've come to expect Bill Cosby to say shocking things on camera so we often watch him with our ears open and eyes covered.  He recently stopped by the "TODAY" Show to talk about educational disparities, but, in true Cosby fashion, ended the interview with a swipe at Donald Trump.  Of course.

Tatyana Ali stepped out of her knee-length demure cocktail dress comfort zone...and into this sexy multi colored sequined mini dress last night.  Decide if we love her red carpet look at last night's Logo's "NewNowNext Awards" 2011 when you read on....

 

The "Love That Girl!" star typically keeps it demure with solid colors and cocktail or A-line dresses. But she decided to up the ante on last night's red carpet at Avalon in Hollywood and while kickin' it with tv personality Joi Rodriguez. 

She showed off her gams in this silver, gold, and black color blocked long-sleeved sequined mini dress.  And paired with with peep toe black pumps.  She rocked bone straight hair and dangling earrings.  So...

Nicki Minaj rolled through Times Square yesterday to unveil Casio's new billboard for the TRYX Camera looking like she was spit out of the Skittles rainbow.  See pics of Nicki, her "Barbz" and The Roots inside....

Yesterday, Nicki Minaj and the Roots teamed up with Casio to unveil their new TRYX Digital Camera Billboard in Times Square.

Nicki happily took pics of other people taking pics of her.

Nicki tweeted:  "About to get on my double decker in the middle of times square with my PINK #TRYX Casio Camera in hand! #itsPinkFridayHoe"


 

 

 

Then Nicki tweeted:  "Just shut down Time Square , TRYX in hand, barbz by my side!"

Mashonda Gets Sexy & Kicks It With Swizz's Little Brother Andre At KING Cover Party

Well isn't this sweet.  Mashonda showed off her bangin' bod last night at her KING magazine cover party at Covet in NYC.  And she partied it up in a purple low cut sequin mini dress with mesh sides to reveal even more body. 

 

And she kicked it alongside er ex-husband's brother and friends.  Pics when you read on....

Mashonda looked gorgeous at her party last night.  And apparently all her party goers thought so too as pics were snapped everywhere.  Swizz Beatz's brother, Andre King, was there to support Mashonda.  He is a model and Swizz's stylist.

And she even had cupcakes with her cover pic on them.

And her girls--including Emily B. from "Love & Hip Hop" and Alesha Renee--were there to kick it.  Looking hot Mashonda.  Fab times.

LaLa Shows Off Her T-Boz Cut On "When I Was 17", Hubby Carmelo Nabs A HAIRY Endorsement Deal

Lala Vazquez is appearing on this weekend's episode of MTV's "When I Was 17."  And we've got a sneak peek involving her T-Boz haircut she just couldn't wait to get.

 

Her hubby Carmelo Anthony just nabbed himself a new endorsement deal too.  Get the hairy deal when you read on...

Why am I loving that she worked T-Boz's hairstyle.  So funny to me.

 

In money news:

 

NY Knick star Carmelo Anthony just inked a multi year deal with Johnson Products Company.  The hair care and beauty company will have Melo as the spokesperson of their products--especially the new Ultra Sheen Men's brand--which has several Mens grooming products-- just launched in Fall 2010.  And this is the first celeb partnership they've embarked on.

The press release states:

The Ultra Sheen® Men™ grooming collection is targeted to the trendsetting man who has style and swagger. Today, no one better exudes the “trendsetting man” than NBA All-Star, Carmelo Anthony, who has signed on to lend his voice and celebrity to the Ultra Sheen® Men™ line.

President Barack Obama, Russell Simmons & Bill Cosby Wine & Dine Amidst Possible Government Shutdown

There may be a total government shutdown looming in DC and beyond--the first since 1995--but President Obama was among the high profile attendees at The 20th Annual Keepers Of The Dream Awards Gala in New York at the Sheraton New York Hotel & Towers.  Come inside to see the President, Al Sharpton, Spike Lee and Bill Cosby and the drama about the potential government shutdown ....
 

 

Some very high profile YBFers were in Manhattan last night to raise money for the 20th Annual Keepers Of The Dream Awards Gala.

And it doesn't get more high profile than the President of the United States.

 

President Obama recently kicked off his re-election campaign which might explain why he's been seen posing for pics with Al Sharpton recently. 

The Keepers of the Dream Gala is a program started by Al's National Action Network.


 

He presented an award to Richard Parsons who posed with Sylvia Rhone.

Spike Lee came out in his suede shoes to support Al's NAN.

And Russell Simmons was there.  Hmm...wonder if he and Bill Cosby are back on speaking terms?

Roland Martin and Kedar Massenburg posed together.

Tamika Mallory and publicist Marvet Britto were on hand.

Richard and Kedar posed with Marth Luther King III.

Stevie Wonder came out!

Magic Johnson spoke to the audience.

Al Sharpton posed with Dominique Sharpton and LaTanya Jackson.

Also, the chairman of the Congressional Black Caucus released a statement today about the potentional government shutdown.  It reads as follows:

" A government shutdown is a lose-lose situation, and a distraction
from the real issues-responsibly reducing the deficit and balancing
the budget. It is also a waste of time and even Speaker Boehner has
admitted that a government shutdown will actually cost more than it
saves. Most importantly, it affects the very people we were sent here
to serve and protect. Hundreds of thousands of federal workers who are
the primary bread winners in their homes-many of whom are
disproportionately in CBC Member districts-will be gravely impacted by
a shutdown.

"Our nation is desperately trying to overcome a recession that began
well over two years ago. Upon learning last week that more than 1.8
million jobs have been created in a little over a year, the Republican
leadership is leading us to a government shutdown which would
devastate the progress we have made. It is beyond irresponsible to
allow a shutdown just as our economy is starting to recover. It is my
hope that the Congressional leadership realizes that in order to
prevent a shutdown, compromising is an essential part of the equation.
Stop playing politics with the livelihood of the American people."

DO WE LOVE IT: Nicki Minaj's New Catsuit...& New Lapdance Receiver

Nicki Minaj rocked a new catsuit for her I Am Music II tour stop in Orlando, Florida last night.  And she even offered up her usual lap dance to a different persuasion this time.

After wearing this gettup earlier this week, chick donned herself in pink, purple, and gold last night--from hair to toe.  And folks are back up to their chitter chatter about those cakes of hers.  The debate seems to come up every now and then around whether Nicki has butt pads, injections, or no additions at all.

And it seems like she's wearing these catsuits to cause that stir herself:

UPDATE: Pic Of Gloria James' Slap Victim, Lebron Responds

So the valet driver victim of Gloria James' personal slapfest at Fontainbleau hotel in Miami--that ended with her being sent to the slammer last night--has been revealed. 

 

The valet victim's pic, plus what Lebron has to say about this foolery, when you read on....

 

Rockfeller Sorel claims that Gloria James, mother of NBA MVP Lebron James, slapped him in his face last night after she believed he was taking too long to get her car.  Now, Rockfeller's pic has been revealed.  According to TMZ:

The valet parker -- Rockfeller Sorel -- told cops Gloria smacked him with an open hand on the right side of his face ... and after the incident, he sought medical attention -- though he doesn't seem to have any visible injuries in the photo.

Said victim went to the hospital after getting hit and is now lawerying up, according to reports.

I mean, we've all had some nights when we felt like valet was just moving a bit too damn slow--especially after a few drinks and you just need to get home ASAP.  But this is a mess.  TMZ's more detailed account [CLICK HERE DOR THE DOCS] of how Gloria proceeded to pop off on the cops who showed up to arrest her on-site:

The arresting officer says he tried to question 43-year-old Gloria James about the alleged incident at the scene early this morning ... but he got "no response just a stare." After a while, she eventually admitted to having a "minor verbal altercation" with the valet.

The cop says the valet explained that he retrieved James' car and put it on the valet ramp in front of the hotel while Gloria and a female driver stood around talking to people for 30 minutes. Finally, the valet says he turned the car off.

The valet says Gloria then approached him and stated, "Where are my f**king keys and continued yelling profanities at the victim."

The report explains, "Then for no apparent reason the arrestee struck the victim with an open had [sic] across the right side of his face and in the process causing herself to lose her balance and falling to the ground."

After Gloria was transported to a nearby police station, the report continues, a shift commander -- Lt. Acosta -- tried to speak with James who responded, "I'm trying to trust you but I don't trust your kind ... I don't trust that officer who arrested me."

Gloria then told police she "was not going to cooperate because she did nothing wrong."
 

Goodness.

Forbes.com reports drunkenness was likely involved::

Police said Gloria James had a strong odor of alcohol on her breath and her eyes were bloodshot when officers arrived at the hotel about 4:47 a.m. Thursday. She was released with a promise to appear on charges of simple battery and disorderly conduct.

When Lebron--who was not present at the hotel at the time of the alleged battery--was asked after his Heat practice today about his mother's arrest, he responded:

"It's a sensitive subject.  It's a personal matter. It's being taken care of.  You have to move forward.  It is my life and there's certain things you have to deal with. You try not to let it be a distraction. I have a job to do, still."

By the way, back in 2006, Ms. Gloria pleaded No Contest to DUI and other charges.  So her behavior while drinking seems to be a long-time issue.

PETA Blasts Flavor Flav For Animal Cruelty

PETA is going after Flavor Flav for being mean to chickens at his restuarant.  Check out this open letter they wrote to him:


Dear Flav,

Greetings from PETA! After reading about the debacle involving employees of your fried-chicken restaurant in Clinton, Iowa, whose paychecks bounced, we're writing to encourage you to bounce one more thing—cruelty—and make your restaurant vegetarian.

If you thought your roast was bad, wait until you hear how chickens who are raised to be roasted are treated! Chickens are arguably the most abused animal on the planet. In the United States, more than 8 billion chickens are killed for their flesh each year, and 90 percent of these animals spend their lives in total filth and confinement—from the moment they hatch until the day they are killed.

More chickens are raised and killed for food than all other land animals combined, yet not a single federal law protects chickens from abuse—even though two-thirds of Americans say that they would support such a law. Chickens on factory farms are bred and drugged to grow so large so quickly that their legs and organs can't keep up, making heart attacks, organ failure, and crippling leg deformities common.

At the slaughterhouse, they are hung upside down, and their fragile legs are forced into shackles. Almost all chickens are still conscious when their throats are cut, and many are scalded to death in feather-removal tanks after missing the throat-cutter.

Quakes & Aftershocks Rattle Mexico And Japan + NY School Chancellor Cathie Black Steps Down, Dennis Walcott Steps In

Earthquakes rocked Japan and Mexio today and we have the news inside.  Also, NY Schools Chancellor Cathie Black has stepped down after three months on the job.

 

In Japan, a 7.1 magnitude earthquake--which is now being labeled as a massive aftershock-- struck coastal Miyagi Prefecture at 11:32 p.m. local time today.  Sources say the quake was 25 miles deep and buildings as far away as Tokyo, nearly 200 miles from Miyagi, trembled for about a minute.

 

And in Mexico, a 6.5 earthquake shook the area this morning. The quake occurred in the Vera Cruz region and was felt strongly in Chiapas and other parts of southeast Mexico.  There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage related to the quake that was about 379 miles from Mexico City.

 

 

And in NYC,

 

 

Mayor Mike Bloomberg just announced that his hand-picked schools chancellor, Cathie Black, has decided to leave the post after just 96 days in the job.  She will be replaced by Deputy Mayor Dennis Walcott, pictured above.  Interesting news since Cathie caused a lot of uproar when she was hired as she had no experience with education, only in running the print magazine world.  We will keep you posted...

LeBron James' Mother Arrested For Assaulting A Valet Parking Attendant

Gloria James, the mother of NBA superstar LeBron James, was arrested early this morning for assaulting a valet parking attendant.  Deets inside...

 

Early this morning at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami, Gloria James was arrested after she got into an altercation with one of the valet parking attendants.  TMZ reports that Gloria was partying at LIV nightclub with friends but when she tried to leave the hotel, she allegedly assaulted the valet.

Cops arrived on the scene at 4:47 AM and booked Gloria on suspicion of misdemeanor assault.   She has been released from custody and the hotel has decided not to comment.

Also in sports,

Former NBA star Allen Iverson's silver Lamborghini was towed for having expired dealer tags.

Allen was stopped in Atlanta last week after the car switched lanes without signaling.  When the officer ran the car's tags he discovered that they had been expired for two years.  This really upset Allen who yelled several curse words at the officer. 

Sources say Allen told the cop "Take the vehicle, I have 10 more.  Police don't have anything else [expletive] to do except [expletive] with me.  Do you know who I am?"

The car was towed away but Allen did return to the scene "and apologized for disrespecting the police."
