Randy Travis Apologizes For Public Intoxication Incident

Posted: 07 Feb 2012 12:50 PM PST

At least he's admitting he screwed up.

To recap - early yesterday morning, country singer Randy Travis was found drunk in front of a Baptist church in Dallas...and he was arrested on a public intoxication charge.

Then, we heard that he had been drinking in an effort to drown his sorrows following a fight with his girlfriend.

Now, we've learned that Randy has issued a formal apology, which is as follows:

"I apologize for what resulted following an evening of celebrating the Super Bowl. I'm committed to being responsible and accountable, and apologize for my actions."

Fortunately, it sounds like the damage here was minimal, so we'd say this one is forgivable...as long as he wasn't drinking and driving.

Let's just hope it doesn't happen again!

What A SMASH! Watch All The Performances From Last Night's Debut Here!

Posted: 07 Feb 2012 12:40 PM PST

Now that's how you kick off a show!

Last night, the premiere of SMASH debuted on NBC and those of you who resisted the temptation of downloading the pilot on iTunes and watching it OnDemand finally got a chance to see it in all it's glory. We invite anyone who wants to to disagree with us, but in our opinion, that might be the best drama pilot episode of a new series since Lost. The talent, the story, the music -- it all fit together so seamlessly and brilliantly. Stand outs for us included the impeccable, scene-stealing efforts of the legendary Anjelica Huston and the captivating voice of Megan Hilty, whose character wasn't who we thought she would be -- and we were pleasantly surprised by that.

But enough about our thoughts. We want to get yours! And in order to do that, we'd like to share with you all the performances from last night's pilot episode! Check out the video (above) to watch Let Me Be Your Star, the closing number to the pilot. Then CLICK THE JUMP to watch all the rest of the sensaltional performances!

And now, the money question: What did U think? Will U be tuning in every week?

Lana Del Rey Tour Cancelled!

Posted: 07 Feb 2012 12:20 PM PST

It hasn't exactly been smooth sailing for Lana Del Rey!

After her underwhelming performance on Saturday Night Live, critics everywhere raised some brows and started talking... and it wasn't pretty.

Then the internet went ablaze regarding her character. While other pop stars have changed their names or elaborated on their personal self for the sake of pop, many were questioning whether Lizzy Grant (her real name) created Lana or if it was solely the work of her marketing team.

So to distance herself from the backlash effects of her SNL performance, her management thinks it's best to cancel her tour and give her time to rejuvenate everything.

A source says:

She was very upset. They figure it allows time for her to clear her head, then go back to selling tickets. More importantly, they figure, the extra time gives them more distance from SNL.

Interscope had nothing to do with booking or postponing a tour. Jimmy Iovine is excited and thankful that Lana is performing at a Grammy event in his honor this week.

Another reason to postpone the tour?? They think if she underwhelms again, it could greatly hinder album sales and they'd rather not risk it!!

Thoughts??

CSI Creator's Estranged Wife Is NOT Happy She Isn't Getting Paid

Posted: 07 Feb 2012 11:40 AM PST

You'll get nothing and like it! That's how Jennifer Zulker claims she's being treated like!

The estranged wife of CSI creator Anthony Zulker claims that she doesn't receive any spousal or child's support from Anthony.

Jennifer is demanding her future ex to pay $1 million to her lawyers and accountants and an additional $54K a MONTH for support.

She claims she spends nearly triple that (mostly on herself) already. Jennifer also claims that Anthony makes $1.6 million a year on the CSI franchise alone, with $25K per episode as well as getting paid for other projects.

However, her court docs admit that the children spend 40% of their time with their dad.

Sources also say that it's actually more than that too.

Sounds like another gold digger trying to steal some cash.

Taylor Armstrong Claims Russell Said Sleeping With Her Was Like Sex With A Skeleton!!!

Posted: 07 Feb 2012 11:20 AM PST

Whoa. Whoa... Eww...

In Taylor Armstrong's new book, Hiding From Reality, she talks all about the domestic abuse she endured while married to Russell Armstrong.

Russell, who committed suicide last summer, has been known since as the man from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills who beat and berated his wife.

And this book definitely isn't gonna help hide that!! But hopefully it will help other woman see the light and get out of their own abusive relationships!

In the book, she claims:

He would make comments when we were sexual and you know about my weight. No woman needs to be criticized in that moment - criticisms about having sex with me is like 'having sex with a skeleton.'

Icky!! No, no woman should ever be told something like, especially during sex!! But she also claims she didn't write it to smear Russell's image. She explains:

I love him to this day and miss him terribly. I got out way too late. I hope by others hearing the story they may get out sooner. When I wrote Hiding From Reality, I wanted it real and honest. Some of it was difficult to write.

Taylor also explains how verbal abuse can be worse than the physical kind sometimes:

I think you can see my eye has healed, but these things are going to stick with me a long time and sometimes, the emotional can hurt worse than the physical almost.

Oh man!! This is a never-ending saga!!

We wonder if we'll ever find out what was really going through his head before he hung himself on Mulholland Drive. There are so many theories out there... even conspiracy theories!!

Sigh... so sad all around. We really hope their daughter is doing okay through all of this!!

The Voice & SMASH Debut SOLID In The Ratings!

Posted: 07 Feb 2012 11:10 AM PST

Yes! Maybe 2012 will be NBC's year!

Lat night was a WIN for the Peacock network between the return of The Voice and the premiere of SMASH. Taking it's place at its regular time slot, The Voice averaged a demo rating of 6.6, and impressively swelled every half hour, starting at a 5.3 and ending at 7.7.

As for the newbie, SMASH started off solidly with a 4.2 demo rating, then slipped to a 3.4 come its second half-hour averaging out to a 3.8. We imagine that number will go up next week, since a lot of people watched the show online before its premiere. Next week, the HAVE to tune in to see what Anjelica Huston will do next! (Have we mentioned we adore her?!)

Did U tune in for the NBC lineup last night? What did U think?
