Joan Collins Talks Dynasty Movie, Who Should Play Her! Posted: 14 Jan 2011 12:50 PM PST Ah! She speaks! We've been anxiously awaiting what she has to say about this ever since it was announced! Now that the creators of Dynasty have announced that a big-screen remake is in the works, the iconic Joan Collins - who portrayed the true baddest bitch to ever walk the Earth in a padded shoulder dress, Alexis Carrington - is speaking out about the project, and she has some pretty FANTASTIC opinions as to whom exactly should be cast! Chris Pine for Blake and Gemma Arterton for Alexis! She explains: "She has all the qualities that Alexis needs. She's sexy. She looks clever and she's kind of vixenous. I do think Chris Pine would be great as Blake. He's a wonderful actor." Granted, if she had it her way, SHE would be playing the part she originated herself! She continues: "I certainly couldn't play her in a prequel in the 1960s. But I always thought they should do it today with Alexis' grandchildren, who about 20 years ago were five and six." YES! We like the idea of a modern-day Dynasty with Joan as Alexis just as much as a prequel - if not more! C'mon, guys! Maybe she needs to show up at the beginning in 2011 - and then you can FLASH BACK to the '60s, so audiences can see how it all began! Brilliance! What do U think?? Couple Busted For Setting Gary Busey Up With DUI Sting Posted: 14 Jan 2011 12:40 PM PST Surprise! Gary Busey isn't a raving drunk and a reckless driver! He's been set up by gold diggers! Here's the sitch: The other night, Gary was pulled over by the police on suspicion of a DUI. The police were acting on a anonymous tip they had gotten from a couple who claimed to have spotted Gary driving erratically. Once the police had safely pulled Gary over, they notice a pair of people taking pictures of the action. Once they deemed Gary to be "perfectly sober," they turned their attention to the "paparazzi" and asked them to stop taking pictures. The duo, Patrice Karst and Mark Abel, identified themselves as members of the press and refused the police's order. At the time, the pair were arrested on the charge obstructing a peace officer in his duties. Now, the pair have been accused of making the initial phone call to police claiming that Gary was drunk in an attempt to frame him for their own benefit. And they will sorely pay for that, we imagine. So Gary is an innocent. First time for everything, huh? [Image via WENN.]

Lily Allen Turns Down Piers Morgan Interview - On Twitter! Posted: 14 Jan 2011 12:30 PM PST Lily Allen has snubbed an offer to appear on Piers Morgan chat show Life Stories. Despite asking Piers to donate $1.5 million to UK charity, Sands, which helps parents who have lost children, Lily has still rejected the interview offer. On her Twitter page, she wrote: "I don't need to enhance my career Piers, the only way I would justify coming on your show would be to give money to a charity. A charity that helps women to overcome the kind of grief that I have had to experience. I'd do it for a million for SANDS. Money, mouth? Those are my terms. I've got no interest in coming on your show, you've been asking me for years." Piers agreed to donate the money, saying: "I will get ITV to make substantial five-figure donation to your charity for the interview. Think about it." Apparently Lily did think about it, but still responded with a simple "No." It's probably still too soon for Lily to talk about the miscarriage she suffered from in November. Perhaps in an appropriate amount of time, Piers will finally get an interview from her. Donating to the charity of her choice is certainly a step in the right direction. P.S. Here's what she had to say about it: "Probably as I get older I'm probably getting a little more sensitive. So, it might be harder in some ways. Obviously, my life is kind of crazy right now. So, getting a lot of that. It's probably a little harder for me than it used to be — I think I just didn't notice." No surprises here. Alicia Silverstone Is Preggers! Posted: 14 Jan 2011 12:10 PM PST Looks like a lot of celebrities will be having babies this year. And the latest to confirm a pregnancy is Alicia Silverstone. The 34-year-old is expecting her first child with hubby Christopher Jarecki. The two have been together for eight years and married since 2005. As for Alicia, she's apparently wanted to be a mother for a while as she said last year, "I've been wanting to have a baby since I was 2 years old – I'm destined to be a mother." Last night, Donald Trump dropped by Jimmy Fallon's Late Show to announce the new cast of the latest season of The Celebrity Apprentice. The cast includes a pretty wide range of talents, including Mark McGrath, Star Jones and Gary Busey (Eck! Good luck!) Trump then invited two of the contestants, Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes and rapper Lil' Jon (Yeah?! What?! Okay!!!) to join him onstage for the announcement. But Jimmy had other plans. Since he had them all there, he challenged them to the only game he thought all three of them could handle: charades. We think it goes without saying the HIGHlarity ensued, but check it out for yourself in the clip (above). Next time we have a game night, you're totes invited Jon!

Dragon Tattoo Drama! David Fincher Changes The Film's Ending! Posted: 14 Jan 2011 11:20 AM PST MAYBE it will be a good thing. Just look at The Mist! Stephen King said himself he LOVED that new ending! Whether or not director David Fincher's new ending to The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo is awesome, there is def going to be controversy over his decision to mess around with writer Stieg Larsson's vision. Here's what Fincher had to say about the Dragon Tattoo script vs. the novel: "The script, which captures the novel's bleak tone, was written by Academy Award winner Steven Zaillian, who wrote Schindler's List, and it departs rather dramatically from the book. Blomkvist is less promiscuous, Salander is more aggressive, and, most notably, the ending — the resolution of the drama — has been completely changed." "This may be sacrilege to some, but Zaillian has improved on Larsson — the script's ending is more interesting." Hmm….we're thinking hardcore Dragon Tattoo fans will be unhappy with this news, but at least they've got a talented screenwriter on board. It'd be hard to argue TOO MUCH with the guy who wrote Schindler's List. Guess we'll see how this plays out. We'd imagine even the haters might go see this movie, just to hate see for themselves. Thoughts???
