On Monday we got to check out an absolutely adorable video of actor Ryan Gosling performing his rendition of the My Little Pony song and today we get to check out a few photos of Ryan at the airport on his way out of town. While Ryan is fully clothed in these photos, they are deffo worth checking out because the cute factor is just insane. How is it that Ryan Gosling can make standing around in an airport look so good?


I dunno … maybe it’s the lighting, mebbe it’s his posture … mebbe it’s the photos of him bent over as he digs shoes out of his suitcase … but something about these photos really speak to me, you know? Ryan Gosling is just too cute for words, no matter what he does. Can I get a Le Sigh?

Kathy Griffin’s ‘Life On The D-List’ Is Dunzo!

After 6 seasons on the D-List, Kathy Griffin is pulling the plug on her very successful Bravo TV series My Life on the D-List. Kathy announced today that altho she has signed on for four new stand-up comedy specials for Bravo, her D-List series is over … finished … kaput … dunzo.

Kathy Griffin says her hit Bravo series “My Life on the D-List” will not return, adding she has no intention to become a reality star like Kate Gosselin, while the cable network is set to develop four new stand-up comedy specials for the actress and comedienne. The reality show, which has won two Emmys, aired its sixth season last summer. It depicted the 50-year-old’s life as a “D-List” celebrity in Hollywood and featured high-profile stars such as director Quentin Tarantino, funnyman Ricky Gervais, CNN reporter Anderson Cooper, Christina Applegate, Drew Barrymore and Bette Midler. “It was a really tough decision because I think of the ‘D-List’ as pretty much my baby for the last six seasons and I also think it was really time to stop doing it,” Griffin told People magazine. “Reality is great, but I really didn’t set out to be a reality star,” she said. “So now it’s time to spread my wings and show that I’m a little different than Kate Gosselin. I’m not saying better. But maybe separate myself from the pack a little bit.” Gosselin is known for her TLC reality series “Kate Plus 8,” which showcases her life with her sextuplets and twins and is a spin-off of her previous show with her ex-husband, “Jon & Kate Plus 8.” Griffin had told Entertainment Weekly in November that she did not think “My Life on the D-List” would return for a seventh season … Griffin has performed eight comedy specials for Bravo, including “Kathy Griffin: Everybody Can Suck It” and “Kathy Griffin Does the Bible Belt.” Her new specials will air later this year. “I went to Bravo and told them I thought I was being a little too nice in my stand up specials,” she said in a statement provided by the network. “They agreed & and gave me four more. Let the fur fly.”

I say … good for her! It’s always wise to go out on top. Sure, Kathy could’ve squeezed more seasons out of the series but if her heart isn’t in it, I think it’s a far better move to just go out on a high note. As much as I love Kathy, I was only barely interested in watching My Life in the D-List anymore. Despite what she likes to say, she is not D-List anymore. She is among the most talented and sought after comediennes around … hardly D-List. I’d much rather see her do straight up comedy than pretend to be something that she’s not. Good move, Kathy!!

Did Wes Craven Inadvertently Spoil ‘Scream 4′?

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly magazine, commenting on the news that actor David Arquette checked himself into rehab, Wes Craven may have inadvertently provided a bit of spoileryish information about the upcoming Scream sequel film. His comments, which at first read innocently, may be more telling than he might like. Is it possible that the director actually let slip some very important information about a major death in Scream 4?

Director Wes Craven publicly shared his support for actor David Arquette, who recently entered rehab, with EW.com yesterday: "I'm glad to hear that David is going into rehab. I saw him a little bit more because he was present during more of the shoot than Courteney. He was in a lot of pain, so it's good that he's getting some help." He referred to the two as "very professional people" when addressing the concern that Cox and Arquette might not wish to promote the film together, and added, "Frankly, none of us knew anything was going on [during filming]…I don't know what their problems are, but it's not that they hate each other that's for sure. It's something else." So what exactly is the spoiler here? Well, there really isn't one—except that numerous people have taken Craven's comment about Arquette being on-set for a greater period of time than Cox as an indication of her character's fate.

HMMMM … I mean, as I said, Craven’s comments could be totally innocent. Mebbe Courteney was not on set very much because she had to fly back to LA to film scenes for Cougar Town? Maybe her role in the film isn’t as big as previous films and she still ends up escaping death? But, I suppose it’s also very feasible that Courteney’s character, Gale Weathers, will be killed off at some point in the film. After all, as the already released promo photo above clearly shows, she does have a run-in with the Ghostface killer and we do see her battling him (or her) in the already released movie trailer. Even if Craven did accidentally spoil a bit, we won’t know for sure until the movie comes out in May. If I were a betting man, I’d say that Craven didn’t spoil … but that Courteney’s character prolly won’t live to for the coming Scream 5 and 6 films.

Camille Grammer Quits ‘The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills’

Back in August we got our first look at the new cast of Bravo TV‘s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills … a cast which included Camille Grammer. In the past few weeks, we’ve gotten to know Camille on the show … and what we got wasn’t at all pretty. We’ve also learned more details about why Camille‘s husband Kelsey Grammer dumped her and we know that she will be gettin’ quite a bit of money from the divorce. Today we learn that Camille will not be returning for season 2 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills … cuz she wants OUT.

Camille Grammer will not be returning for a second season of Bravo's Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, THR has learned exclusively. The soon-to-be ex-wife of actor Kelsey Grammer has been the subject of much scrutiny during the series' freshman season … for her parenting habits (she has four nannies for two children), her friendships with married tennis partner Nick Stabile and real-life medium Allison Dubois, and her now infamous feud with co-star Kyle Richards (aunt of socialite and reality star Paris Hilton). While a second season has yet to be officially announced by the network, a source close to production confirmed that Grammer has decided that she has no interest in participating either way.

I understand that Camille is PISSED at how she’s been portrayed on the show (apparently, the truth hurts) and she has hired legal representation to ensure that she is let out of any legal obligation to appear on the show next season. With all the money she’s gonna be getting from Kelsey in the divorce, she can afford to get out of her Bravo contract … no question. To be honest, I can totally understand why she would want to leave the show … I mean, if I acted as shitty as she does on national television, I’d be horribly embarrassed, too. I do hope, tho, that she is able to take a good hard look at the way she acts and finds a way to better her behavior. Even tho she is about to become a very wealthy woman, none of it will mean anything if everyone hates her.

Are Sandra Bullock & Ryan Reynolds Romantically Involved . . . Or Not?

Earlier this week we learned that actors Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds were spotted enjoying New Year’s Eve together (with a few of their closest friends) in Austin, TX at Sandy‘s NYE party. Today, the couple are splashed across the cover of US Weekly magazine with the headline, It’s On! Could it be? Are the former BFFs new lovebirds?

New year, new romance for Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds? Fresh off highly publicized, messy divorces, the sexy Proposal costars were spotted “partying the night away” together on New Year’s Eve at Bess Bistro (which Bullock owns) in Austin, Tex., a witness tells the new Us Weekly, out now. “They were very playful,” the onlooker says of Bullock, 46, and Reynolds, 34, who were “smiling the whole time and occasionally touching…What a hot — and quick — rebound for both of them!” … “I’m sure they’ve bonded over the breakups,” a Reynolds insider tells Us. “Going through a divorce is a unique thing to live through.” And while Bullock’s rep tells Us that the duo are “nothing except good friends,” Reynolds’ pal adds that the “chemistry” between the pair was obvious on the 2009 set of The Proposal. “Ryan always got excited talking about Sandra and liked being around her,” the source says.

Not so fast, says People magazine. They’ve got their own sources “close to the couple” that insist that any suggestion that Sandra and Ryan are anything but good friends “is ridiculous”:

Yes, Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds share a similar self-deprecating charm, dry wit and silly streak. Yes, the pair – who costarred in the 2009 hit romantic comedy The Proposal – have been close friends for a decade. And yes, the reigning Sexiest Man Alive, 34, and Best Actress Oscar Winner, 46, both split from their spouses within the past year. But despite speculation that a romance is brewing in the wake of their New Year’s Eve celebration, sources close to both stars tell PEOPLE that the stars’ relationship is strictly platonic. Any notion of a romance between Reynolds and Bullock “is ridiculous,” says a source close to Reynolds. “They have been friends for 10 years and they celebrated New Year’s with others. That’s it. They really are just friends.” Adds Bullock’s rep:”They all had a great time ringing in the New Year as they have in the past” … Dining and dancing with a group of friends until midnight, “they were having a good time,” says one party-goer. “They danced together. They ate together. They laughed a lot. But I didn’t see any making out or anything.” The close friends have made no secret of their mutual admiration over the years. “She’s this stunning, gorgeous woman – and she’s the only one who forgets it,” Reynolds told PEOPLE in 2009. Bullock returned the compliment: “I’m amazed by what he pulls off. And he smells good.”

I’m on Team People on this one. I do not believe that Sandra and Ryan are romantically involved … right now. That’s not to say that something couldn’t happen in the future. Ryan is very likely still reeling from his pending divorce from Scarlett Johansson so he’d be very wise not to get involved in a new relationship so soon after his split. That being said, I can see how these two good friends might end up falling for one another. I say … let’s wait a while and see what happens. They may not be together right now … but let’s see where things stand a year from now. What do y’all think … are these two doin’ the do?

Purple Reign

Inspired by listening to the genius soundtrack on my record player yesterday afternoon, I dug out my DVD of the 1984 film Purple Rain and cozied up on the couch to watch the movie for the umpteen millionth time. Without question, Purple Rain is one of my all-time fave 80′s films … particularly because it encapsulates the decade so perfectly. I was reminded again last night why the film rules so hard.


While it may look a bit dated and awfully cheesy today, Purple Rain was the shizz back in the day. When that film was released, Prince exploded as a megastar. I very distinctly remember listening to the soundtrack over and over and over again because my mom wouldn’t let me go see the film at the movies. I don’t even recall when I eventually got to see the movie but I do remember falling in love with it. In recent years, Eminem‘s 8 Mile has been called the Purple Rain of rap music and I tend to agree … but even that film doesn’t seem as big a deal when it was released as Rain was back in 1984 (tho, coincidentally, both films collected Academy Awards for Best Song). Purple Rain is one of those films you may forget you love and may forget all about for years on end … but when you do get around to watching it again, you remember how awesome it truly is. I highly suggest all y’all spend some time in the Purple Rain again … trust me, it’s fun.

Tonight, David and I are planning to hang out with our newly engaged friends Josh and Emma so I’m looking forward to that. It’s Wednesday, y’all … hope you are having a fabulous Hump Day!

Britney Spears Gets Her Nails Did, Goes To The Movies

Earlier today we learned that plans are in the works for the release of Britney Spears‘s new single Hold It Against Me but right now we get to see a few photos of our dear Britney out and about here in SoCal yesterday as she ran around town enjoying a funday. First, Britney went to the salon to get her nails manicured and French Tipped … then she went to the movies! Yay!!


Yeah, I’m not sure what exactly is going on with that crocheted head wrap but … WE’RE GONNA BE HEARING NEW BRITNEY MUSIC SOON SO WHO CARES?! The imminent release of Britney‘s new song is pretty much all I can think about these days. I’m hearing that Britney is still recording her album so the dang thing, due out in just 2 months, still ain’t finished. I’m guessing that no album title has been announced because they are still working on tracks for the disc. But, to be honest, I can’t worry about the album just yet … we are just days away from the release of Britney‘s single … I can feel it. Hopefully we’ll be learning more concrete news very soon. In the meantime, I’m glad to see that Britney is bizzying herself with fun stuff to do when she’s not in the studio. As long as she’s happy, I’m happy.

Lindsay Lohan SWEARS Moving In Next To Samantha Ronson Was A Coincidence

Yesterday, before she made her first post-rehab public appearance at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA, we learned the odd news that Lindsay Lohan inadvertently moved in next door to her ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson. According to Sam, Lindsay‘s move next door was unplanned by her … and today we learn that Lindsay is claiming the same thing. L. Lo swears that her moving in next door to Samantha was a total accidental coincidence. Can you believe?

Lindsay Lohan is telling friends she had “no idea” her new badass beach house was right next door to ex-girlfriend Sam Ronson …but she’s ready to move out in order to “keep the peace.” Sources close to Lindsay tell us … Lohan was aware Sam lived somewhere in Venice, Ca — but she didn’t know how close her new pad was to Ronson’s home until family members saw the DJ pull in to the garage next door on Monday. Now — after Lindsay’s father went through all the trouble of moving her in — we’re told Lohan is considering moving out of the place after learning Sam was “pissed” at the situation. We’re told Lindsay doesn’t want to break the lease — which would cost her big bucks — but she also doesn’t want to “ruffle any feathers.”

HMMM … I’m not sure how much of this nonsense I believe. Of all the places in the world, of all the places in the entire city of Venice, CA … Lindsay accidentally moves into the condo right next door to her ex-girlfriend? It sounds HIGHLY unlikely that it was all just an accidental coincidence but … yeah. Considering how little money Lindsay has, I’m surprised she can even afford the rent on this luxurious new condo in the first place … breaking the signed lease would cost her a lot. “Accident” or not, my guess is that L. Lo will stay put as SamRo‘s neighbor. Still, it might be wise for her to get a new place … after all, Venice is really far from Lindsay‘s fave gym in West Hollywood.

Stan Lee Gets A Star On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame

Congratulations are in order for comic book legend Stan Lee because he was honored yesterday with his very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. With his beautiful wife Joan Lee by his side, Stan was awarded the 2,428th star on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood, CA … IMHO, an honor that was long overdue.

On Tuesday, Lee received a much deserved star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, in front of the Live Nation Building. It’s the 2,428th star dedicated on the famous avenue of dreams. “I’m really quite thrilled and quite honored and I just hope that someday I don’t get a knock on the door saying we made a mistake, that was for someone else,” said Lee. The big celebration came one week after Lee’s 88th birthday and 70 years after his comic book career began. “I just don’t want people walking on my name. I think I’ll put a little fence around this thing, or something,” said Lee. “I love it, I never in a million years could have thought I’d get something like this for writing a few comic books stories.” It’s been more than a few. Lee created or co-created 90 percent of Marvel Comics’ characters, including Spider-Man, The Incredible Hulk, X-Men, The Fantastic Four, Iron Man, Daredevil, The Avengers, Silver Surfer and Dr. Strange. His unique brand of superheroes was the first of its kind, more human with flaws and vulnerabilities. “I think it’s pretty exciting that Stan Lee gets to wake up every morning and know that he’s touched so many people. And it’s not just here, it’s everywhere,” said Laurel Wianilos of San Diego. More than 2 million of Lee’s comic books have been published in 75 nations and in 25 languages. His characters have been featured in 24 animated television series and several live-action movies. “The character I’d most like to be [is] probably Iron Man because he’s the richest and the girls like him the most,” said Lee. The “Maestro of Marvel” had these words of advice for budding comic creators. “All you have to do is think what hasn’t been done before? I shouldn’t tell that to people, now I’ll have too much competition, but that’s the secret. What hasn’t been done before and you do it,” advised Lee. At 88 years of age, Lee is still going strong. He serves as chairman emeritus of Marvel Enterprises and is still developing new characters, comic books, movies and television projects for his own company, POW! Entertainment.

Aww … good ol’ Stan. They really don’t make ‘em like him any more. I really LOVE how active this man is and I am really looking forward to many, many years more of his brilliant genius. Kate Middleton Does ‘Tatler’ Magazine

Kate Middleton, the lucky young lady who will become the next Princess of Wales when she marries Prince William in April, is featured on the cover of the new issue of the British magazine Tatler. Additionally, new details have been released about Kate‘s upcoming nuptials to Prince Wills as we move ever closer to the big day when the couple will say their I Dos.


As far as I know, this is Kate‘s first coverphoto for Tatler magazine … but if history is any indication, it won’t be her last. The late Princess Diana, William‘s mother, was frequently featured on the British magazine thruout her life as princess:


It would appear that much to Tatler‘s glee, they have a new subject to laud on their magazine covers. With only 3 months to go until the royal wedding takes place in London, British officials have released a new set of details about the big day:

Kate Middleton will arrive by car and leave by Royal carriage when she marries Prince William on the morning of April 29. In new details released Wednesday from the prince’s office at the palace, Kate – who turns 29 next Sunday – will wed William, 28, in a service set for 11 a.m. at Westminster Abbey. The service will be followed by a reception given by the groom’s grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, and the day will conclude with a private dinner and dance at the palace for many of the couple’s family and friends. William’s father, Prince Charles, will serve as host. The night before the wedding, the bride-to-be will stay overnight in central London at one of the palaces, either Clarence House or a private address, a royal source tells PEOPLE. According to a news release, MIddleton’s route to the service will take her past some of London’s most famous sites: The Mall (before Buckingham Palace), the Horse Guards Parade, Whitehall and Parliament Square. The Dean of Westminster, the Very Rev. Dr. John Hall, will conduct the service, and the Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr. Rowan Williams, will marry the couple, the palace confirms. The Bishop of London Dr. Richard Chartres, a friend of Prince Charles and his sons, will give the address. When they are married, William and Kate will exit to cheering crowds and take what the palace calls “a Processional Route in a carriage procession” to Buckingham Palace.

11AM London time means that my ass will be gettin’ up in the wee, wee hours to bear witness to the royal wedding. OY! Why couldn’t they get married here in LA, we have better weather? In any event, the next 3 months are going to fly by like crazy … April 29 will be here in no time. I expect we’ll be learning more wedding deets as the weeks go by. I know I can’t wait … this wedding is going to be a spectacular spectacle … wee!!

Reese Witherspoon Shows Off Her Engagement Bling

Yesterday we saw photos of the newly engaged Reese Witherspoon out and about on the streets of SoCal all by lonesome with her hands buried deep inside her pockets. Apparently, Reese was not in the mood to show off the big fat diamond rock she’s got strapped to her finger. Last night, tho, Reese was in a more sharing mood. She and fiancée Jim Toth were seated courtside at the Staples Center rooting for the LA Lakers and Reese was flashing her gorgeous new engagement ring all night long.


Wowzers! That’s some piece of ice! I certainly hope that Reese‘s sparkly bauble wasn’t responsible for blinding any of the basketball players running around on the court last night. I love how newly engaged women tend to use their engagement finger hand for pretty much everything in perhaps a subconscious way to show off their rings. Shoot, if I were wearing a rock like this one, I’d wanna show it off too. Mr. Toth clearly has great taste in jewelry … oh yeah, he’s also got great taste in women, too.

First Look: Andrew Garfield As Peter Parker In The Spider-Man Reboot

While the troubled Broadway musical Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark tries to get back on track in the wake of all of the calamities that have befallen the production, things are moving ahead nicely on the set of the new Spider-Man reboot film. As you may recall, in early December we got our first look at the first photos from the set of the new Spider-Man film when we saw photos of Emma Stone in character as Gwen Stacy. Today we get our first look at lead actor Andrew Garfield (of The Social Network) in character as Peter Parker.


Okay, granted … Andrew Garfield in character as Peter Parker doesn’t look any different from Andrew Garfield not in character as Peter Parker but still … it’s nice to see that filming is moving ahead nicely on the reboot. I mean, not that I’m excited about the reboot to be honest since I think it’s far too soon to remake a film that is only 10 years old but … whatevs. Some of you casual Spider-Man fans may need reminding that Emma is playing Gwen Stacy, Peter Parker‘s first love (who he was involved with in the comic books before he met his true love Mary Jane Watson). The first film in the Spider-Man reboot franchise will focus on Peter‘s relationship with Gwen (as well as his becoming Spider-Man). While I’m curious to see how production of the film will continue, I’m still not dying for a new Spider-Man movie. I guess we’ll have to wait and see how it all turns out.

Britney Spears’s New Single Will Debut On Facebook

OK … so I think I finally have some semi-official and somewhat definitive news regarding the release of Britney Spears‘s new single Hold It Against Me. I was contacted, along with a selection of other bloggers, by Britney‘s record label to be part of a fun fan-driven Facebook campaign to help get Brit‘s single released. If everything goes according to plan, it will be the concerted effort of Britney‘s fans that will get the song released at last.


The way it will work is YOU fans will be asked to spread a special message on your Facebook pages and once 2 million fans share the message, the song will automatically unlock and be released. In the coming days, a customized Pink is the new Blog widget will appear here on the site and then it will be up to YOU to use the widget to spread the message on Facebook. Thus far, there has been no official date released as to when this Facebook campaign will go down but I’m hearing it could be as early as next Monday January 10 … but, as with all the release dates we’ve been hearing, we cannot be sure of anything just yet. Know this, Britney‘s new song will be unlocked within hours if not minutes of the Facebook campaign’s launch.

Now, I should clarify … it’s not clear if the song will actually unlock and be heard on Facebook or if the campaign will merely play out on Facebook and the song will unlock on some official website … but it is clear that fans will have to spread the message on Facebook to unlock the song and get it released.

I’m certain it will not be difficult to get 2 million people to work together in order to get Hold It Against Me released. Be ready … I’m counting on all y’all to help get Britney‘s song released! I know I can’t wait a second longer than necessary — can you?

The Freshly Rehabbed Lindsay Lohan Hits The Gym

After about a day of back and forth — Is she in rehab? Is she not in rehab? — we learned for sure yesterday that Lindsay is OUT of the Betty Ford Center. You may recall we got to see some shaky, grainy, chopping cell phone video of Lindsay chillin’ with her peeps at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA yesterday morning. Last night, Lindsay made a much more showy appearance at her gym in West Hollywood, CA and she looked happy to be with her old friends again … the paparazzi.


There’s that smile … Lindsay looked A.) happy to be free and B.) happy to see her photog friends. Lindsay hooked up with her BFF Andy Lecompte so that the pair could work on their fitness together which, IMHO, is a relatively positive activity. TMZ managed to catch a few seconds with Lindsay right before she made her way into the gym yesterday and as you can see in the following video, she was in very happy and chatty spirits:


Many were assuming that Lindsay‘s first stop out of rehab might be the Chateau Marmont or some other Hollywood hot spot … but, nope, L. Lo decided to go to the gym. Without any real hesitation, tho, Lindsay is back in the mix here in Hollywood. Will she be able to stay OUT of trouble? I guess we shall soon see. If she makes it thru the week without getting busted for something, I’d say that would be an accomplishment.
