On Xmas Eve, Ricky Martin turned the big 3-9 and today we learn, via his official Twitter profile, that the Rickster celebrated his big day on the slopes somewhere in the world. While the photo came without any details at all, it is a very cute pic of Ricky happily celebrating his birthday.


I’m certain Ricky‘s sweet baby boys were somewhere close by (most likely inside and warm) but it’s clear from this cute photo that Ricky was having a very fun time … with whoever it is that is taking his photo ;) Happy Belated Birthday, Ricky!!

For those of us who cannot be in NYC tonight for the event, we will be able to watch the event as it streams LIVE online right here on Pink is the new Blog. Trent will be discussing his work on the score to The Social Network and it is a chat that you do not want to miss.

Watch: Snoop Dog, ‘Wet’

Last month we got our first listen of the new Snoop Dogg single titled Wet (which he supposedly wrote for Prince William‘s bachelor party) and today we get our first look at the music video for the clip. Naturally, with a song titled Wet, there are quite a few scantily clad women getting, well, wet so … if that sounds like your thing, you’re gonna wanna check out the music video in full.


To clarify, there aren’t merely scantily clad wet women in the video … there are also scantily clad dry women in the video as well so, there’s a little of something for everyone. Wanna get Wet? Well, here you go:


Snoop Dogg rules! This song, while fun, is just … ok. Still, I’m excited to hear more from Mr. Doggy Dogg. Wet or not, he’s deffo the man.

Natalie Portman Shows Off Her Engagement Bling

On Wednesday, we got our first look at newly engaged Reese Witherspoon‘s shiny engagement ring and right now we get to take a gander at the rock that newly engaged (and pregs) Natalie Portman is carting around on her finger. Natalie has been keeping her bling underwraps but managed to flash the rock a few times at an afterparty following the People’s Choice Awards earlier this week.

On Wednesday night, after attending the People’s Choice Awards, Natalie Portman quietly debuted her engagement ring from fiance Benjamin Millepied in L.A.’s Beachwood Canyon neighborhood — and only UsMagazine.com has the exclusive first pics. Holding her beloved pooch, Whiz, the pregnant star, 29, looked dazzling in an electric-blue Jason Wu shift dress and mesh Dior pumps — but the huge diamond ring on her wedding finger nearly stole the show.

Diamonds, Diamonds, Diamonds … everywhere I look! I gotta say, tho, Natalie really wears her rock well. I love that Nat is engaged, I love that she is pregs and I love that she is on the brink of being showered with trophies as soon as Awards Season kicks into high gear. Normally, some folks might be seething with jealous over Natalie‘s happiness … but how is it even possible to be angry with Natalie for anything? I love her … and wish her a long and very happy life with her man and incubating baby :D

Watch: Milo Ventimiglia In ‘Suite 7′

My boy Milo Ventimiglia stars in a webisode titled That Guy in an online series produced by Lifetime called Suite 7. Milo co-stars with Brandon Molale in this episode that tells the tale of a Best Man who has 24 hours to convince his friend the Groom that he is marrying the wrong woman … as you can imagine, hilarity ensues.


The clip, written by Milo and his good friend Russ Cundiff (who also makes a cameo at the start of the ep) is very funny and deffo worth your time. There’s even a cute shout-out to all of us here at Pink is the new Blog (at the 2:12 mark) so … you have to watch :) Check it out:

Camille Grammer Does ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’

On Wednesday we learned that Camille Grammer, the soon-to-be ex-wife of Kelsey Grammer, has decided to not appear on the second season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and today Camille appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to explain why she decided to do the show in the first place (Kelsey “made” her do it), whether or not she’s really quitting the show (she hasn’t decided yet), whether or not she talks to Kelsey anymore (she doesn’t) and more.

“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star CAMILLE GRAMMER makes an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Friday, January 7th. Ellen works out the entire show and Camille joins her on a stationary bike during her interview. She talks about why she decided to star in the reality show and whether or not she’s returning for the second season, her relationship with co-star Kyle Richards and reveals details about her divorce from Kelsey Grammer.

On why Camille decided to star in the reality show…
Camille: Why did I do it? Kelsey wanted me to do it.
Ellen: Kelsey wanted you to do it?
Camille: Yeah, I didn’t want to do the show. I wasn’t ready to expose my life that way. We’ve been a private couple for a long time and I had seen you a couple times at awards shows and stuff like that but for the most part, we kept to ourselves. I was surprised that he wanted me to do to it too. I was like, “Are you crazy? Why are you making me do this?” But he thought it would be good for me to do something that was separate from us being a couple. This is something that was my own thing.

On her relationship with co-star/friend Kyle Richards…
Camille: I love Kyle. We do get along. We are friends. Believe it or not. But at times, you know, our personalities just clash. So there’s one day we love each other and we’re laughing and going to dinner and then two days after, we’re fighting about something ridiculous … I mean, off the camera, we tend to get along but I’m not going to say it’s just for the show because these are real things that are happening in our lives.

On the rumors that she is returning for the second season and details about her divorce…
Camille: We haven’t decided that yet. Right now, as everybody knows, I’m going through a divorce.
Ellen: Well, let me ask you about that. You said Kelsey wanted you to do this. So you got divorced while you were shooting?
Camille: I found out he wanted out of the relationship during the shooting.
Ellen: How did you find out? Did he tell you?
Camille: A mutual friend called me and said, “I don’t like what he’s doing to you and I don’t like the timing because you’re still in the middle of shooting a reality show.” And then I called him that night and texted him. No answer from him. I waited for three hours and then he called me and said, “I don’t want to be married anymore.”

On whether Camille talks to Kelsey…
Camille: No, we don’t speak at all … Everything I find out is through the press with him. Or he writes me an email or text. I think it’s really important for us to speak if we’re going to raise children together. We need to co-parent. So right now, my focus now is that we hopefully become friends and we move on from this and we can become good parents to our two young children.

It’s clear that Camille is now trying to rehabilitate her image … going on Ellen seems to be the way vile people try to show the world that they have changed for the better. I don’t buy it … actions speak louder than words. Camille does hint that she *may* come back for the second season of RHoBH but only to repair her image in the public eye. Meh. I don’t buy it.

Rihanna Releases New Promo Photos For Her ‘Reb’l Fleur’ Fragrance

A few weeks ago we got our first look at Rihanna‘s new celebrity fragrance called Reb’l Fleur … today we get to check out a couple of promo photos for the new perfume. One photo gives us a clearer look at Ri Ri as she is featured on the packaging for the fragrance. The other photo is just plain sexy.

It's a deal that's been months in the making, but Rihanna is now officially Hollywood's newest perfumer with the launch of her debut signature scent, Reb'l Fleur. "My grandmother in Barbados used to call me her Rebel Flower," the singer tells PEOPLE of what inspired the fragrance's name. And while the name might be the natural choice, deciding on the final mix proved something more of a challenge. "Over the years, I layered many different scents to get something that was truly my own," she says. "But I wanted…something that said 'Rihanna was here.' Something delicious and special, a fragrance with subtle hints that linger and leave a sexy memory." The end result recalls the star's Caribbean upbringing with ripe fruits and sumptuous florals, as well as a musky mix of vanilla, patchouli and amber. Reb'l Fleur will begin rolling into department stores in February, priced at $49 for a 1.7 oz. bottle.

As I say every time a new celebrity fragrance comes out, I’m not sure the world really needs another celebrity fragrance but … well, here we go again. I can’t blame Rihanna for wanting to throw her hat into the celebrity perfume market. I kinda like how the Reb’l Fleur bottle looks like a high heel … that’s kinda cool. I think Rihanna missed a big opportunity to sell this new perfume for the holidays … but as this report makes clear, Reb’l Fleur won’t hit stores until next month. It’s coming, y’all … do you care?

The Sleepover

Last night was a really fun night for David and me. Our good friend Angie came over for a sleepover party! Well, there wasn’t much partying cuz we’re old … but we did have a great dinner, followed by a great hang-out session, followed by a fun tv-watching session, followed by … well, sleep. See, I told you we are old.


We had dinner at Rock Sugar at Century City to start out the night and we had the most delicious dinner. We took our time with the meal and dessert and just had a blast hanging out. Angie generous brought me a stack of vinyl records from her DJ days and we were supposed to listen to some of them … but ended up getting sucked into all the fun stuff we have recorded on our DVR. David called it a night first but Angie and I, like the champs that we are, managed to stay up past midnight … on a school night. HMMM, mebbe we’re not so old after all. We had a blast … ’twas lots of fun!!

Tonight, David and I are supposed to hook up with other friends but I wouldn’t mind staying in and sorting thru all the cool records Angie gave to me. It’s the weekend already, I can’t even believe it. We are dang near thru the first week of the New Year already! OY! Time flies … happy weekend, y’all!!

According to new reports just out, congratulations are in order for happily marrieds Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom … who just welcomed the birth of their firstborn child. According to US Weekly magazine via X17, Miranda gave birth to a baby boy here in LA just moments ago!!

Little boy Bloom! Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom welcomed their first child — a son — in L.A. on Thursday, X17 reports. After dating for nearly three years, the Victoria’s Secret model, 27, and Pirates of the Caribbean actor, 33, secretly wed in early July. A couple weeks later, Us Weekly first broke news that Kerr was also expecting — then, Kerr told the September issue of Spanish Vogue that she was “four months” along. “I’ve always been open about wanting to be a mother one day, and I’ve always thought Orlando would be a great dad,” Kerr told Sydney’s Morning Herald. The catwalker also added that she has no plans to retire after becoming a mom. “I think having children and pregnancy is a part of life, I look at how models like Heidi Klum, Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio have done it and made it a part of their lives.”

Yay!! This is great news … if true. We won’t no for sure if Miranda actually popped or not until we get official confirmation (hopefully with the baby’s name) but I think it’s OK to send our love and congrats to the couple on the expansion of their little family! Yay!! Baby Bloom is the first celebrity birth of 2011!!

Zuma Nesta Rock Goes For A Spin In His New Car

On Xmas Day last month we got to see a few cute (yet uncomfortable) photos of Gwen Stefani, Gavin Rossdale and their children Kingston James McGregor and Zuma Nesta Rock as they visited and posed for pictures with Santa Claus. Today we get to see new photos of Gwen and Zuma enjoying an afternoon at the park with one of the little guy’s Xmas presents … his very own car.

I guess Lindsay Lohan isn’t the only one toolin’ around town in a new car these days:


How cute are these pics? When I was a wee lad myself, I had my car like this … but my wheels fit two people (well, children) in the front seat … and it was a convertible. As you may recall, we learned on Monday that the members of No Doubt have started recording their new album (hopefully set for release sometime this year) but it’s nice to see Gwen hasn’t let being a rock star interfere with her mommy duties. Zuma is an absolute doll … as well as a safe driver! Good for him!!

Jake Gyllenhaal Likes To Ride The Subway Just Like YOU

When last we saw hottie Jake Gyllenhaal roaming the streets of Brooklyn, NY he was hanging out with some young girl who he may or may not have dated for about 10 minutes a few months ago. Today we learn that Jakey poo is back in Brooklyn … and riding the subway … solo.


Much like her Madgesty herself Madonna (who was spotted riding the underground rails in NYC last September), Jake is not afraid to take public transportation and he moves about to and fro NYC. He was just chillin’ on the train, playing with his phone … carelessly NOT holding on to the bar for safety. His rebelliousness is so sexy, ain’t it? What I’m most shocked about is that that guy is totally sleeping right next to Jake … and he prolly didn’t even know it! Ah, can you imagine the sweet dreams that man dreamt as his head brushed up against Jake‘s body? Le sigh.

Now that Jakey is single once again, methinks he’ll be rollin’ solo for a while. If you’re lookin’ for an impromptu rendez-vous, I’d suggest riding the Q train night and day until you run into him. Tell him I say, HI!!

CoverGirl Releases A NEW Taylor Swift Commercial

In early December we got our first look at the newly single Taylor Swift in her first print ad campaign for CoverGirl NatureLuxe cosmetics. Today we get our first look at her first CoverGirl video commercial that is set to flood the television airwaves in an effort to convince YOU to buy her make-up.


As you can see in these amusing screencaps, Taylor attempts to look sexy, alluring and sultry as she prances and poses in this video clip … but the only thing I see is a young girl playing dress-up in her mother’s clothes with her mother’s make-up when she prolly shouldn’t be. Still, CoverGirl is very smart to team up with Taylor Swift because as the most-successful female musician of 2010 she has a wide reach that can easily influence her legion of fans. Here is our first look at Taylor‘s new CoverGirl commercial … see for yourselves the way in which Taylor attempts to sell make-up:

Holly Madison Comments On Hugh Hefner’s New Engagement

On Xmas Day last month we all learned that 89-year old Playboy magazine mogul Hugh Hefner got engaged to his 24-year old girlfriend Crystal Harris when he surprised her with a diamond ring and a proposal. After all of the congratulations were offered, the first question on everyone’s mind was I wonder what Hugh‘s ex-girlfriend Holly Madison thinks? Today, we find out. Holly spoke with E! News for the first time about Hefner‘s new engagement and, unsurprisingly, she was very surprised by Hugh‘s decision to get married.

“I’m very surprised,” Holly exclusively told [E!] last night of the engagement at our Comcast Entertainment Group’s Television Critics Association reception. She said, “I have a lot of different feelings on it. I don’t just feel one way. I kind of didn’t want to put a generic statement out there like ‘Congratulations!’ because I felt everyone would see through that.” As fans of the Girls Next Door know, Madison called it quits with Hef in October 2008 after he wouldn’t commit to marrying her and found out he was unable to have more kids because of a low sperm count. “I expected to spend the rest of my life with her,” Hefner told me at the time of the breakup. Holly met with Hefner and Crystal yesterday at the Playboy Mansion. “I wanted to see him and Crystal and tell everybody face-to-face how I felt,” she said. Cameras from her E! reality show, Holly’s World, happened to be rolling for the heart-to-heart. “It went very well,” she said. “I had a good day.” She’s keeping tightlipped on details because she wants to save the big reveal for—duh!—the show.

LOL! I can’t even … I mean … really, Holly? Without question, she has to be surprised and hurt that the man she was so in love with for so many years is now engaged to be married to someone else (who’s younger!!!) … but does she really have to exploit the situation for her own reality TV series. DUH! Of course she does!! As disingenuous as this on camera confrontation sounds, I still genuinely believe that Holly truly loved Hugh Hefner. I guess they just weren’t meant to be married. If she’s not gonna become Mrs. Hefner, I guess Holly might as well milk her pain for reality TV gain … right?

Natalie Portman Takes Her Pooch & Baby Bump For A Walk

Late last month we learned the very happy news that actress Natalie Portman got engaged to be married to her Black Swan co-star and professional dancer Benjamin Millepied … oh yeah, and we also learned that the couple are pregs with their first child. Today we get to see a few supercute photos of Natalie out and about here in SoCal yesterday showing off her tiny burgeoning baby bump.


As you can see, Natalie and her mother were taking Nat‘s pet pooch for a walk in her Los Feliz, CA neighborhood and her baby bump was kinda sorta visible. It looks like Natalie is already comfortable wearing maternity clothes and, IMHO, it appears that she is really loving being pregnant. If her stomach is beginning to protrude now, she’ll really be bumpin’ out by the time she makes the red carpet rounds at all of the awards shows later this month and next month. Natalie Portman‘s Bump Watch is officially underway!!

A New Car For Lindsay Lohan?

Lindsay Lohan hasn’t been out of rehab for a full week yet and she’s already enjoyed almost entire year’s worth of drama and excitement in just the past few days. She’s got a new home, an active new work-out regiment and enjoyed her most recent run-in with the law … whew! Last night, Lindsay posted a message of thanks on her official Twitter profile to Trev Gi MotorSports for giving her a new Onyx Range Rover … I mean, it’s what any freshly rehabbed celebutante deserves in her first week of freedom, right?


Now, it’s not entirely clear if Lindsay was given a Range Rover to keep or if she was loaned one out while her car is getting repaired form a recent fender bender with a paparazzo earlier this week. It seems odd that L. Lo would post a public tweet of thanks just for a loaner … so I’m more likely to believe that Trev Gi just gave her the car … after all, they THE Luxury & Performance Cars specialists in the LA area. We’ll have to keep our peepers peeped for the next time L. Lo hits the road in her new car … which I’m sure will be any second now.
