When Black Barbie landed in London today, it caused a lot of excitement in London's Heathrow airport.
Fan were running on the side of the plane just hoping for a glimpse of hip-hop's brightest star. Nicki is in town to promote Pink Friday which has stalled at #34 on the UK album charts. The UK's Daily Mail even reports that fans literally camped out at the airport last night waiting for her arrival.
I wonder if she will have high tea with Martha and Roman today?
In the land of sweet smells, Beyonce has released several new photos and promotional videos for her new fragrance HEAT RUSH.

The Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in Indio, Calif., will run from April 15 to 17 for its 12th installment and features Kanye West as headliner. Other notable YBF performers include Lauryn Hill, Cee Lo Green, Nas and Damian Marley, and Erykah Badu. Three-day passes for the festival cost $269 plus fees, and camping passes are $75. Tickets go on sale Friday at 1 p.m. Eastern time through coachella.com.
Supermodel and bad girl Jessica White has landed her own reality show. The show will begin filiming around fashion week in New York and will follow Ms. White and her "colorful" friends around, circa "Entourage." Hmm. If she can get bad girl Naomi Campbell to make an appearance I will surely watch.
And Lil' Wayne appears in the latest issue of ROLLING STONE Magazine talking about his time in prison and its impact on his life. Weezy was released from jail in November after serving 242 days in protective custody (which he calls "Punk City") for attempted criminal possession of a weapon. He calls the charge "bull----." Fans will be surprised to read that Wayne says the hardest part of the process was being deprived of conjugal visits. And he became so good at the card game Uno, that he often walked away at the end of the night with a bed full of commissary goods or someone else's phone-use privileges. While there, he said he read a lot, mainly biographies ranging from Jimi Hendrix to Vince Lombardi, but also he slipped in a lot of Confucius and the whole Bible. Asked about the Bible, he said, "It was deep!" And his "guest list" included a who's who of hip-hop royalty from Sean (Diddy) Combs and Nicki Minaj to Kanye West. He even received a call from former Jets quarterback Brett Favre telling him to "Keep your head up." Asked about the overall process of being locked up, Wayne said,

And we notice that Shannon is rocking a very wedding-band-like ring on his hand. Deets when you read on...
After last week's game against the Knicks, Shannon Brown was getting interviewed by the sports press. And if you look closely, you see him flash a ring that looks pretty damn close to a man's wedding band. Is this normal protocol before a wedding? Last night, rumors hit the net that Monica and her boo actually tied the knot on November 22nd at a courthouse. And they are allegedly planning a second ceremony to take place in front of family and friends. No confirmation (or denial) from either side out of their own mouths yet, but supposedly Monica has also already changed her name to "Brown." We're not 100% believing this just yet, but we're simply the messenger. Now, I'm not the wedding protocol queen as my obsession with "Bridezillas" and "Say Yes To The Dress" does not help since they don't go into these important details like when a man starts to rock his wedding band or when a woman changes her last name. So, is this all protocol for their first wedding? Or did the two actually already tie the knot? Time will tell....  |

Halle Berry's ex Gabriel Aubry has filed papers in California to establish his paternity regarding little Nahla. Get the deets inside plus peep the FASHIZBLACK Magazine photoshoot of Angela and Vanessa Simmons...
TMZ reports that Gabriel Aubry filed a paternity petition back in December of 2010. This does not mean that Halle and Gabriel are fighting, but the establishment of paternity will give Gabriel "legal" rights when it comes to spending time with Nahla. In most states, father's rights aren't protected unless the couple was married. That's why baby mommas rule the world...or at least the NBA. And actually, a source tells TMZ that at least in terms of child custody, visitation or support, Halle and Gabriel pretty much worked that out themselves...with their lawyers. Whatever arrangement they worked out seems to be going along smoothly. Gabriel just wanted to "put it on paper." Nice to see a man running to court to declare he's the father...and not running from it.

The shoot was cute and a little sexy...nothing over the top. Loves it.

Oprah Winfrey sat down for a deeply personal interview with CNN's Piers Morgan and one of the most shocking topics on the table was the child she tried to abort and eventually lost when she was 14.
Oprah then revealed to Piers the shame she felt after learning of the pregnancy and the suicidal thoughts that came. She even tried to drink laundry detergent in attempt to abort the baby herself. And when a pregnant Oprah went to live with her father, things only got worse when he told her, “I would rather see a daughter of mine floating down the Cumberland River than to bring shame on this family and the indecency of an illegitimate child.” She then “hid the pregnancy until her swollen ankles and belly gave her away.” A few weeks later, the baby died in the hospital. Another shocking revelation was that Oprah said she “had no connection..." to the baby and viewed the death as a blessing in disguise. “When the baby died, I knew that it was my second chance.” Interesting take on it. FLOTUS wasn't the only one poppin' champagne for a birthday yesterday. Looks like Wade and Bron Bron were having some fun. They kicked it with DJ Irie and friends. And here's some video of Gabrielle Union at the party toasting to the birthday boy and dishing on why she loves her man:

It's been a messy messy day in hip hop. Natalie Nunn just dropped a video where she details what really went down with her and Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose gets the brunt of it. Also, a female comedian, whom we believe is Kevin Hart's soon to be ex-wife, was caught on stage talking much -ish about her cheating husband. Hmmm. Get the deets inside....
Natalie Nunn sat down to record a 20-minute video detailing what happened on the few nights she spent in the company of Wiz Khalifa. Nat says he got a little salty when she didn't give in to his advances. Then she goes on a long rant about how successful and busy she is and that now he is screwing a "ho" who doesn't have a life or anything to do careerwise (Amber Rose). Some choice quotes:

Also, we spotted a female comedian named Torrei (same name as Kevin Hart's wife) who has been married for around six years (like Kevin Hart) and who looks a lot like the woman we know as Kevin Hart's wife. | SPOTTED: First Lady Michelle O. & Her Presidential Hubby Get FAB For Her Birthday Dinner Posted: 18 Jan 2011 10:01 AM PST First Lady Michelle Obama and her over-the-knee boots were spotted on the way to her birthday dinner in D.C. last night with Mr. President.
We've got the pics, plus her "embarrassing" birthday wishes, when you read on... Earlier in the day, Madame First Lady hit up Stuart Hobson Middle School in Washington, D.C. for the MLK Day of Service. She brought Sasha, Malia, and President Obama along. And she was welcomed with what she calls an "embarrassing" Happy Birthday serenade from the kiddies. Later on, the Prez took her to an intimate dinner without the kiddies at the fabulous celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck's The Source restaurant at the Newseum building to celebrate. And she looked great in her all black coat and over-the-knee boots look: Well that's a fab way to spend your birthday.
