Courteney Cox and David Arquette met secretly in Los Angeles at an undisclosed location, attempting to reconcile one last time right before separating. Before announcing their separation, the couple had already been living apart and dating other people and were clearly living separate lives, but friends say they did try to make it work one more time. A source says: "They've never had what most people would consider a normal relationship. It started out good, but it didn't end that way. They tried to find common ground, what held them together all these years, their love for their daughter Coco. She's tough but feels a tremendous sense of loss. It's hard to walk away from a marriage, even though she hasn't been happy in a long time. Courteney and David will be tied together for life by their daughter. Plus they both went through her infertility issues, miscarriages and all the heartbreak that went along with that. But it just ended in fighting and anger. Things changed dramatically though. David slept with another person. Courteney has feelings for her costar and a complicated marriage became even more complex. They got together secretly and tried to talk through their issues. They cried. They remembered some of the great times they had but then they started to fight." That's when the couple knew it was time to end things and announce the end of their marriage. Sad. Angie Defends Controversial Rapist Movie In Progress Posted: 15 Oct 2010 12:20 PM PDT Earlier in the week, we reported that Bosnia had objections to Angelina Jolie filming her directorial debut in the country. Politicians had objections due to the fact that movie is a love story about a Serbian rapist and his Muslim captive. Now, Angie is facing criticism from the association Women Victims of War, who accused the film of presenting "misleading history." These grievances actually aided the Bosnian government in deciding to hold back permits for the film. This morning, Angelina reportedly contacted the women's group through the UNHCR and said, "Don't judge me before you see the film." She continued on to say: "Obviously any dramatic interpretation will always fail those who have had a real experience. This is not a documentary…There are many twists in the plot that address the sensitive nature of the relationship between the main characters, and that will be revealed once the film is released." The Oscars Won't Move To January Posted: 15 Oct 2010 11:50 AM PDT Phew! That means more time to view all the nominated films. Despite reports that the Oscars were planning to move their telecast from February to January, it's been confirmed that the 2011 awards show will stay in late February, and will most likely keep that date for at least the next couple of years. So what was the big deal? According to sources, Oscar producers felt they were being upstaged by several other awards show, including the Golden Globes and the SAG awards, which air in January. However, the show decided to keep its show in February so as to not have any conflict with the Super Bowl, which would piss off many NFL fans. The only other options was to move the show in March or air it on a Monday, which would hurt ratings. In a statement by the Academy, they said: "The Academy's Board of Governors has determined that the date of the 84th Academy Awards in 2012 will not be significantly earlier than the now-traditional last Sunday in February. A different date still remains a possibility in subsequent years, and the Academy's staff and Board will continue to evaluate the advantages and challenges associated with such a change." The Academy Awards will air on February 27. Will U be watching??
