Filming Production Begins On The Set Of ‘The Hangover 2’

Posted: 10 Oct 2010 12:27 PM PDT

Reprising their roles for another go ’round, actors Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Justin Bartha and Zach Galifianakis (not pictured below) were all spotted at Ontario International Airport here in SoCal this weekend on the set of the sequel film The Hangover 2. Here are a few photos from the first day of production:

As I understand it, the guys will be traveling to Bangkok, Thailand for their next night of misadventures. I’m guessing they won’t be messing with the film’s formula too much … The Hangover was such a big hit, it shouldn’t be too hard to churn out another film that will please just as much. While I liked the first film, I didn’t love it as much as everyone else seemed to. We’ll have to wait and see how The Hangover 2 turns out. Are any of y’all excited?

Artery Hardening Goodness

Posted: 10 Oct 2010 12:13 PM PDT

Yesterday turned out to be a totally lazy day for me … I spent much of the day playing video games on my Nintendo DS and not doing pretty much anything else. I did venture out of the house last night to sate my hunger for a plate of Aussie Cheese Fries from Outback:

After my breathing became labored and my arteries had sufficiently hardened, it was time to get back home. David and I received some very sad news of a death in a friend’s family so David booked a flight back East to attend the funeral which will be held tomorrow. I dropped him off at the airport this morning. Since I’ll be flying solo for a couple of days I can get some things taken care of … hopefully I’ll find our Hallowe’en costumes today or tomorrow. The weather heated up considerably here in SoCal, much to my glee. Happy Sunday, y’all.

Hot Dude Of The Week: Chris Fawcett

Posted: 10 Oct 2010 11:00 AM PDT

It is time, once again, to say hello to the Hot Dude of the Week. This week’s specimen of Hot Dudeness was photographed by the extremely talented Rick Day, who never seems to run short on Hot Dudes to photograph. Say hello to Chris Fawcett, in all his bright white undies wonder:

I just love photos like this one of Chris here. No fuss, no muss … to flexing, no bells and whistles. Just plain hotness. MMMM. Enjoy :D

2010 New York Comic-Con, Day 2

Posted: 10 Oct 2010 10:20 AM PDT

A few more geek-minded celebs made their way out to Day 2 of New York Comic-Con going on this weekend in the Big Apple making the dreams and wishes of loyal fans come true. Day 2 included in-person appearances by hot ladies Tricia Helfer and Katee Sackhoff from Battlestar Galactica as well as hotties Eric Bana and James Franco:

And for some strange reason, Corey Feldman — in his infamous Michael Jackson attire — was in attendance as well. I’m not sure I quite get the connection between Comic Book/Sci Fi awesomeness and Feldman‘s presence but I’m guessing there was an appearance fee included and, well, I’m certain Corey Feldman would never turn down such an offer. To be honest, I always found Feldman‘s MJ impersonation extremely weird … now that MJ has passed, I find it extremely weird AND creepy. But, despite the creep-factor that invariably shows up at these sorts of events, I’m certain the sheer awesomeness makes NYCC a total blast. Sigh. I’m there in spirit …

First Look: Daniel Radcliffe In ‘Dazed & Confused’ Magazine

Posted: 10 Oct 2010 09:33 AM PDT

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe – who we learned last week will appear in this year’s Hallowe’en special on The Simpsons — is featured in the upcoming new issue of Dazed & Confused magazine in a pictorial that is sure to surprise his longtime fans … in the photospread, DanRad is all done up in very colorful make-up looking very much unlike the boy wizard character that made his famous:

While this image transformation isn’t quick as jarring as the one he did for his hit West End/Broadway play Equus, I think this is deffo a side of Daniel that we’ve not seen before. This preview of Dazed & Confused magazine comes from The Times of London newspaper which you cannot access online unless you pay a subscription fee. Fortunately, you can visit DanRadcliffe.com to see and read the magazine preview for free. I cannot wait to see the rest of this magazine photospread … I am loving this look on Danny boy.

David Beckham’s Boys Are Chips Off The Ol’ Block

Posted: 10 Oct 2010 09:13 AM PDT

With mama Victoria Beckham off gallivanting around the world on business matters again, the duty of caring for Brooklyn Joseph, Romeo James and Cruz David has fallen once again to daddy David Beckham. Becks and the boys spent part of their weekend on a little shopping excursion together:

After their day on the town they regrouped and made their way — together — to a pee week soccer match so that the young Beckham boys could show off their mad soccer skillz. After the jump, check out a few adorable photos of Becks and his boys on the soccer field together here in Santa Monica, CA last night …

I understand it was Brooklyn‘s soccer team who played last night … but Romeo and Cruz got in on the action every chance they got. I will never tire of seeing Becks playing with his boys … there is no question they mean the world to him. The photos of him and Cruz are just the cutest tho. They may not all grow up to be successful soccer professionals but I’d bet good money that at least one of them will grow up to be a soccer stud just like daddykins.

Mariah Carey Helps Hubby Nick Cannon Celebrate His 30th Birthday

Posted: 10 Oct 2010 08:58 AM PDT

A very fabulous-looking Mariah Carey stepped out Friday night with her young hubby Nick Cannon Friday night to celebrate Nick‘s 30th birthday. As you may recall, Mimi has been having a rough time of it lately what with her falling her her bum on stage in Singapore and her having to roll thru LAX Airport in a wheelchair … but this weekend, MC is back on her own two feel and she was lookin’ good, y’all:

Mariah Carey was back on her feet last night following her recent onstage tumble as she celebrated her husband Nick Cannon’s 30th birthday. The 40-year-old singer wore a plunging black dress, teamed with fishnet tights and a pair of vertiginous peep-toe heels. But the star ensured a minder was on hand to help negotiate the stairs as she left her New York apartment, clearly not wanting to suffer another embarrassing fall. Mariah was pictured being wheeled through LAX Los Angeles Airport in a wheelchair after injuring her ankle when she tripped over on stage in Asia. She is currently the subject of pregnancy rumours, having hinted that she may be expecting her first child. In a recent statement she thanked fans for their well wishes, but didn’t confirm or deny anything … Mariah and Cannon celebrated his 30th birthday [Friday] night with close friends at Lavo in the Big Apple.

I’m always amazed at how well Mariah Carey is able to bounce back from pretty much everything. Just a couple weeks ago she was lookin’ a bit bigger, which is totally fine, but in these pics she looks much slimmer. I’m thinkin’ MC has got herself a magic wand which she uses for very special public appearances from time to time. In any event, I suppose we should send our belated Birthday Lurve to her babyfaced hubby on the big 3-0. Here’s hopin’ Mr. & Mrs. Cannon have another birth-related celebration coming on the horizon :)

Jane Lynch Hosts ‘Saturday Night Live’

Posted: 10 Oct 2010 07:55 AM PDT

Back in early August we learned that Glee star “It” Hollywood funnygirl Jane Lynch would be hosting Saturday Night Live and earlier this week we got to see the promo videos for Jane‘s ep, which aired LIVE last night. To be honest, I was pretty meh. about the entire ep which was sometimes kinda funny but for the most part not funny at all! BUT, there was one skit that really stood out among the rest … one skit that was not only funny but almost perfect in every way. But, before we get to that … here are some of the promo photos of last night’s SNL host Jane Lynch:

While 98% of the show was pretty lackluster IMHO, the Glee skit which featured the SNL character Gilly was far and away the best part of last night’s ep. For some strange reason, tho, NBC is not making official video of the skit available … and the skit is NOT included in NBC‘s official embed of the episode. Check out the Glee/Gilly skit in full after the jump, while you still can …

As you can see, this video had to be uploaded backwards so that it wouldn’t get pulled down as an unauthorized clip. I don’t understand why the best skit of the entire ep is being kept offline by NBC but it really is funny … and the only good thing about last night’s ep. Jane was good but, again, the material was not. In case you’re curious, you can watch last night’s full ep of Saturday Night Live HERE:

I clicked thru the full episode embed video and the Glee/Gilly skit is not included (it aired right after Jane‘s opening monologue). Strange. In any event, you can watch the skit online here … for as long as the clip stays online. It’s funny right? What did y’all think of last night’s ep … did you love it?
