Kanye West's Nude Pic Scandal + Anita Baker Sued for $15K

The nude pics of Kanye are apparently from his old Myspace days before he became famous.  Sources say he sent them to several women and they've been floating around for a while.  According to Radar Online, one pic shows Kanye from the chest up in sunglass and a gold chain. A second pic shows him exposing his genitals from his boxer briefs. Classy.

In a semi-recent magazine interview, Kanye said he contemplated posing naked to "break every rule of hip-hop".

"It's like Björk, if she wanted to pose naked, you'd be like, 'Oh, that's Björk. But if I wanted to pose naked, people would draw all type of things into it. I definitely feel like, in the next however many years, if I work out for two months, that I'll pose naked."

Um, ok 'Ye.  Armed with this new infomation...are you ready to see a neekid Kanye West?

And speaking of Mr. West, he was spotted getting his ball on in Australia this week.  Clothes on:

And in other music news...

R&B songstress Anita Baker is being sued by her house painters for $15,000. Ray A. Smith Painting and Decorating claims in a Wayne County Circuit Court lawsuit that Baker has reneged on promises to pay for work at her home in Grosse Pointe, Mich. This work included painting in her son's bedroom, replacing a rotten door sill, and removing water-damaged plaster in her living room. 

Neither Anita nor her attorney immediately returned calls to the The Detroit News seeking comment.

Meanwhile, court records indicate Baker faces several financial problems including liens for $465,733 in unpaid federal taxes, $15,952 in unpaid state taxes and $3,470 owed to a window company.

I hope her seventh album 21st Century Love, out in Novemeber, has a hit record.  She needs some chart-toppers and a good long headling-tour to pay those bills.

FACES ON A MILK CARTON: Samantha Mumba Hits Beverly Hills

Samantha Mumba was spotted leaving a party in Beverly Hills last night and we have pics inside.  Find out what she's been up to as well...

 

We may not have heard from Irish-born pop singer, who was once linked to Sisqo of Dru Hill, Samantha Mumba for a little while here in the US, but that doesn't mean she's been bumming around.  She filmed a reality show that aired on the UK's Channel 4 in March 2007 and will star in an upcoming Irish horror film Loftus Hall set for an October 2011 release. 

 

Samantha was spotted in this frilly white-fitted dress which she set off with knee-high brown combat boots.  She's still looking great--aside from her weave being totally un-blended with her hair.

Lamar Odom Nabs Mom-In-Law As His Manager + Tyler Perry Cancels "Madea" Tour

L.A. Laker star Lamar Odom is under new management. Find out who the familiar face is, plus the reasons behind Tyler Perry cancelling the rest of his "Madea" tour when you read on...

Lamar Odom had a highly publicized wedding last year to Khloe Kardashian. Now, he's hired his mother-in-law, Kris Jenner, as his personal manager. His rep says, "Kris Jenner now manages Lamar Odom. He has asked her to manage him off the court a few months ago"

His rep continued to say, "Their first project together would be his and Khloe's fragrance which is set to launch next year." Kris will be responsible for keeping track of  Lamar's "appearances" and handling any personal marketing activities. 

I wonder which half of the couple came up with this bright idea. Kris has been pimpin' her kids for what they're worth for years.  And it got them millions.  So it's only right Mr. Odom gets in on the action too.  But mixing business with personal relationship's typically doesn't go well, so best of luck to you Lamar.

 

 

 

 

Starting October 19th, Tyler Perry is cancelling "Madea's Big Happy Family" stage tour. In a letter to his fans sent out last night, Tyler says that he is exhausted from doing "125 performances in 126 days last spring, and doing two movies back-to-back this summer, then coming right back on tour and doing another 30 performances in as many days." 

Also in the letter he thanked the near 750,000 fans that came out so far in support of the play and for helping him cope with the loss of his mother. Fans who have purchased tickets will be given their full refund.  He said many times in the letter that he feels horribe for having to end things and it pains him to do so.

Guess there won't be any "Goodmornting's" for awhile...

Willow Smith is ready to whip out her new "Whip My Hair" video.  And yes, we care.  The first pics from her vid, plus pics of cutie Kiyan Anthony in his Halloween costume with his mama and Nahla Aubrey shopping it up with her mama Halle when you read on....

 

The 9-year-old's vid premieres on BET next Monday, and was shot last month in Sylmar, Cali by famed video director Ray Kay.  She reportedly will have a few guest stars making appearances in it alongside her showing off her love for playing with paint and colors.  Still waiting on a collabo from her and Diggy Simmons....

 

Halloween's right around the corner, and the YBF kids can't wait to don their costumes:

Cutie Kiyan Anthony hit the red carpet at the UNICEF Trick-or-Treat event last night in NYC in his costume.  Lala tweeted that Kiyan refused to take off the costume and wanted to walk the streets of NY with it.  Too cute.

Veronica Webb dressed up and brought her two kiddies Leila Rose (L) and Molly Blue (R) along as well.  LOVE Halloween time!

TV FAB: Tyra Banks Named Top Female Earner + Star Jones And La Toya Jackson Join "Celebrity Apprentice"

YBF chick Tyra Banks pulled down more money than any other female on primetime television this year.  Find out how she did it plus see who will join La Toya Jackson and Star Jones on the upcoming season of "Celebrity Apprentice" inside...

 

When it comes to television, Tyra Banks rules the airways as TV's top earning primetime female.  As reported by a new listing of TV's top earners, Tyra Banks banked $30 million dollars this year thanks to her tv ventures. 

Through her production compnay, Bankable Productions, Tyra currently has two shows in primetime, UPN/The CW's "America's Next Top Model" and ABC's "True Beauty."  Her successful talk show, "The Tyra Banks Show" went out of production earlier this year. And chick is still roling in the stacks.  Cha-ching!

 

And in a new list leaked to the press, we find that Star Jones will be returning to television as a contestant on Donald Trump's NBC show "Celebrity Apprentice."  Star has been absent from television since her self-titled truTV show went out of production in 2008. 

Star will be joined by La Toya Jackson, rapper Lil' Jon, supermodel Niki Taylor, "Survivor" winner Richard Hatch, baseball's Jose Canseco and singer Mark McGrath.  Will you be watching?

MISTRESS FILES: Chilean Miner Mistresses Take Over Rescue Site!

Just when you thought the story of the 33 Chilean miners being rescued in a brand new capsule contraption after 69 days---all of them alive---was unbelievable, mistresses start to come forward to claim their piece of the pie.

 

We've got the details about 6 of the now safe and sound miners rising to the surface to face jump-off drama when you read on....

In case you haven't heard, the 21st rescued Chilean miner yesterday was 50-year-old Yonni Barrios.  And he was met at the top not by his wife who has stood by him at Camp Esperanza holding out hope for the last 2 months, but he was met by his mistress.

When the miners were told to send to the top the 3 people they wanted to greet them once they arose to the surface in "The Phoenix" capsule, Yonni said he wanted his wife of 28 years, 58-year-old Marta (on left)...and his mistress of a few years Susanna (on right) to be there, meet up, and "be friends". *eyebrow raised*

Marta found out about Susanna when Susanna popped up at a vigil the families were holding at the mine site Esperanza--and Susana was in the background wilin' out crying out Yonni's name.  Marta soon discovered homegirl was Yonni's mistress.  I mean, could you imagine hearing another random woman yelling out for your man at his VIGIL?!

Apparently, Yonni previously told Susanna he was going to leave his wife, and even instructed the aid workers on the ground to only deal with his mistress.  WOW.

Marta said she would not be attending Yonni's rescue, but she was happy he's safe:

"He asked me to come, but it turns out he also invited the other woman and I have decency," Salinas said before the rescue, according to ABC News. "This is very clear: It's her or me.

"I'm happy because he was saved. It's a miracle from God. But I won't attend the rescue."

So in Yonni's arms yesterday was Susanna, not Marta.  Rescue workers said Yonni seemed unfazed by the drama.  I guess 69 days of staring death in the face will make you not give a damn about certain things.  This is MUCH.

And Yonni's not the only one with lovers and jumpoffs at the site.  Reportedly, 5 other miners had their lovers there, and fighting and arguing went down (off camera of course) about who had a right to be there and a right to any of the fame/riches that came with this rescue. 

But not all was tomfoolery at the top--1 miner finally got to meet his baby girl who was born right before his rescue.  Another met his fiance he proposed to while in the mine.  And another got a marriage proposal from his girlfriend--after she turned him down weeks before.  Sweet!  Thank God everyone is safe and sound with no major physical injuries.

Drake's Got A New Nicki Minaj Look-A-Like Chick, Talks Relationships

Drake looks like he's scooped up a new chick.  And surprise surprise...she looks a bit like his crush Nicki Minaj.  Pics of the two boo'd up in ATL, plus Drake's new Cosmpolitan mag interview about love and relationships when you read on...

Drizzy hit up Tongue & Groove in the ATL recently to blow off some steam...and smoke.  And had this Nicki Minaj look-a-like chick on his arm all night:

Hmmm.  Not sure if she's just one of many...or if we'll be seeing more of her.  Either way, it's clear he has a type.

Speaking of Drake, he spoke to Cosmopolitan for their new issue and he talked about a man's perpective about relationships:

Cosmopolitan: Is it hard for guys to get over breakups?
Drake: Definitely. Even after a long time, it’s painful to see an ex with somebody else. As happy as you are that she’s happy, there’s a little tingle underneath your heart. It’s not a sting. But it hurts a bit, and you wish it wasn’t there.

C: Is sex on a first date a deal breaker?
D: No, I don’t get why women think that. You’re telling yourself that all you have to offer is your body and the physical act. There’s more to you than that. If I like somebody, there’s so many great things to look forward to, even if we do it on the first night.

C: If a woman is into a guy, how should she get his attention?
D: I’m shy, so I like when she comes up and says “Hey, how are you doing?” That lets me know she wants to talk. The scariest thing is when you look at a woman and think of a million reasons why she wouldn’t want to.

C: What’s the best compliment a woman can give a guy?
D: I never mind hearing “You look nice tonight.” Guys put in a lot of silent effort. When I’m going on a date, I’m getting a haircut, I’ve got a new outfit, and I’m wearing cologne. So it’s nice when it’s noticed.

GOOD DEED OF THE DAY: T.I. Talks Possible Suicide Jumper Off The Ledge!

T.I. prevented a man from jumping off a ledge today.  We've got the deets on how Mr. Harris took it upon himself to save a life in Atlanta when you read on...

Well that's on way to put your celebrity to good use.  A man walked to the top of the same 22 story building that Ryan Cameron hosts his V-103 radio show in today.  And when nearby citizens saw the man sitting on the ledge and looking suspicious, cops and media were called. 

When T.I. heard what was transpiring on the roof and that there was a suicide jumper, he called into Ryan's show and asked to speak to the man.  Ryan told T.I. to make his way down to the building and try to talk him out of it.  And that's exactly what he did:

"He came to the scene and offered to talk to him, we told the young man that, and he came down," Officer James Polite with Atlanta police told the AJC.

When the man threatening to jump came down, T.I. was waiting and the two talked for a few minutes, Polite said.

The man, whose name was not released, was then transported to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment, Polite said. He will not face charges, Polite said.

Shortly before 4 p.m., man went to the roof of 400 Colony Square Building, located at 1201 Peachtree Street.

Other reports claim that T.I. recorded a video for the man to see/hear and that's what led him to come off the ledge.  TIP met the man in the lobby of the building and talked things out with him.  The cops credit Mr. Harris with saving the man's life.  Reportedly, no charges will be pressed on the man by the police department.

Newlywed Lala rocked a vintage multi print and multi colored long sleeved mini dress straight from a vintage collection of Christian Lacroix.  The dress gave off a psychedelic vibe and hugged every curve with an array of colors and cheetah and firey prints.

She toned down the bold look of the dress with black sky high Casadei pumps.  And kept the jewelry to a minimum with a single Loren Ridinger jeweled bracelet.  And her wedding ring, of course.

What we love the most--she ditched her Kardashianfied look for a new asymmetrical bob that was topped off with coffee brown highlights. And the makeup was hot too.

Tyler Perry Assures Fans He Did "For Colored Girls" Justice, Makes Casting History

Director/Writer/Producer Tyler Perry sent out a letter last night to address the doubts and concerns people are having that he can pull off a movie version of the stage play and book "For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When The Rainbow Is Enuf".

 

He addresses the doubters when you read on...

Tyler explained in his message to fans yesterday how he went about turning the unique stage play "For Colored Girls" into a movie.  And he assured the doubters that he did the literary work justice.  By the way, Tyler and the cast are making history with having the largest black female ensemble cast in a movie. FABULOUS. His letter:

We are only a little more than 3 weeks out from FOR COLORED GIRLS, which
opens on November 5th. Wow, time is flying! I wanted to talk to you for
just a second about this film. There has been a lot of Internet chatter
about me doing this film. I've heard everything from, "I'm glad he's doing
it!", to "How dare he touch this!". Believe me, I know that this is
sensitive material and I handled it that way. If you don't believe me see
for yourself on November 5th.

If you know anything about the book or play, FOR COLORED GIRLS WHO HAVE
CONSIDERED SUICIDE WHEN THE RAINBOW IS ENUF, which is what my film is
based on, then you know that it is one of the most powerful literary works
of this century. But, if you know it, you are also thinking like I was,
"How can I make this into a movie?"

After reading the play a thousand times and listening to these poems a
million times, it hit me. There was only one way to approach it. So what
I did was, I put these characters in the situations around the poems, so
that they could speak the dialogue of the book without it sounding like a
poem. And I have to tell you, I wasn't sure that it could be done. But,
after listening to Phylicia Rashad, Thandie Newton, Kerry Washington, Macy
Gray, Kimberly Elise, Tessa Thompson, Whoopi Goldberg, Loretta Devine,
Anika Noni Rose and Janet Jackson say these words it was awesomely
seemless.

The stories are about eight women who live in NYC and we follow them
through their lives; follow them through loving, losing, giving too much
of themselves, being hurt and betrayed, but most of all, we follow each of
these women as they find love for themselves.

This movie is powerful. It is incredible. The performances in it are
astonishing, but most of all this film will leave you lifted.

I don't know if you know this either, but never in the history of a
feature film has there been an ensemble of this many black women. That
alone is worth celebrating. I hope you are planning to see it on November
5th.

By the way, you don't have to be a colored girl to be able to relate to
and enjoy this movie.

Foolywang Material! Antoine Dodson Performs At BET's Hip Hop Awards

Antoine Dodson may almost be out of his 15 minutes of fame but that didn't stop him from performing at the BET Hip Hop Awards. We've got the video plus an interview with him and the complete winners list from last night's show when you read on...

 

 

Antoine did an interview with The Root and discussed everything from his BET Awards performance to homophobia and Bishop Eddie Long:

The Root: Did BET reach out to you to do the performance, or did you reach out to them?

Antoine Dodson: I am not desperate at all. I don't call people and say, 'Hey, I want to be on your show.' They reached out to me and said, 'You are the hot topic right now, so we want you to be on the show.' I thought I was just presenting. I did not know what I was doing until I got there. So I was like, 'Oh, I’m performing? OK.' That was my first performance ever.

The Root: Do you think your performance obscures the serious issue of the alleged sex-crime attempt?

Antoine Dodson: I hate that people might feel that way, but all I can say is, 'What if you were in my shoes?' So what people are saying is crazy. I'm performing the song because it's such a serious situation. Not only am I performing the song, but I feel that if I keep performing it, it will keep the situation fresh. It won't die down. People really need to stop and think before they make these crazy comments and these dumb opinions. I'm not trying to make this into a joke. If y'all can make the video viral, then you can make the message viral. You think a bunch of rumors and opinions are going to make me hide in the closet? If anything, I'm going to be on the camera even more.

 

The Root: African Americans have a particular, sensitive history with minstrel shows, which made a mockery of the conditions of black folk. Do you think people will connect your performance with minstrelsy?

Antoine Dodson: Of course they will connect it with that. The media is just going try to bring you down, but the whole thing about it is, I'm going to try my best not to be another Britney Spears and not let it take me down. I won't go through it like she did, but she came out of it. People have jobs where they just dig up stuff, so you better count on it.

 

The Root: This is in no way related to you, but I'm just curious about how you feel about the Bishop Eddie Long case?

Antoine Dodson: I get that a lot anyway. My reaction is, weren't they 16 or 17? At that age you are a year or two away from being legal. How do you not know that someone is taking advantage of you? Doesn't school teach you that? Don't they teach you about maturity? They teach you how to drive a car -- why not teach you about being taken advantage of?
I'm sorry if people may hate me, but I feel like something is not adding up. From the look of it, I saw some of the boys' interviews, and one of them is well-spoken and intelligent. Maybe they were scared to speak out all of these years. I don't know, but I smell money.

 

The Root: How do you feel about how homophobia and sexual crimes are handled in black communities?

Antoine Dodson: They feel like -- especially bourgie black people -- they don't want to air it on the news because they feel it reflects poorly on the black community. So in order to make them look bourgie, even though they're in the hood, they just don’t speak about it. But a person like me, I'm going to air you out. I’m going to call every media outlet I can and get it in. And I expect somebody to air me out, especially if I'm doing something I ain't got no business doing.

Transexual Model Sidney Star Responds To Chingy

We recently reported to you the buzz on the internet streets about Chingy and his alleged romp with a transexual model. Of course he denied it, but now the model herself, Sidney Star is speaking out and we have the interview inside...

Chingy's alleged bedmate Sidney Star spoke to Philly radio host Kendra G. yesterday.  And she dropped some dimes about why she's coming out with this info now:

"I feel that he's ashamed. That's all it is. And he shouldn't be. Why should you be ashamed of a woman just because she is transgendered?"

Sidney says she is not trying to put Chingy on blast or hurt his career, but felt it was necessary to tell the truth.  Rumors about the pair's relationship has been buzzing for months.  And when photos of the two emerged, Sidney felt it was time to come out with the entire story. 

Saying they had sexual relations "off and on" for two years, Sidney makes it a point to say she is a full woman and was during their encounters.  "It wasn't a super serious relationship, but yes we did. we had sexual relations."

Sidney also says she tells men (in the beginning) that she was born a male and let's them decide how to proceed.  And when asked about how she feels when people say she is putting him on blast, she responds, "I'm not ruining his career."

Sigh.  Not sure just how many people care about Chingy's chop-down behavior, but we're just doing our gossiply duties here.  Your thoughts?

The YBF Chicks were out and about in full force last night around NYC & Atlanta.  We've got what Lala, Kelly Rowland, Kerry Washington, and others were up to when you read on...

Ms. Kelly was honored at last night's ASCAP event in Atlanta.   Kelly and other women were recognized for their outstanding work "behind the music" and their contributions to the music world.

Devyne Stephens was there too.

Hanna Kang (Grand Hustle) & Sandra Brown (JD/Akon) were also there to speak, and the event was hosted by V103's Rashan Ali (left).

 

Over in NYC:

Lala rocked a bold print mini dress and black pumps to the ESPN Body Issue party at Skylight Soho.  I'm absolutely loving this dress.  Def a risk.  But it worked.

She also headed over to Gotham Hall to the Diesel event at the for the "Only The Brave MC Challenge":

And kicked it with her girl Estelle.

Interesting look for Estelle.  All black with a touch of gold accents.

And Adrienne Bailon was there as well.
