Today, on the very same day that she filed for divorce from her husband Jordan Bratman, Christina Aguilera packed up her only begotten son Max Liron and moseyed on down to the Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch in Beverly Hills, CA to try and show the world that she and her son are doing just fine in the wake of the dissolution of her marriage:


Because Max is so young, I’m pretty sure he’s not entirely aware of what is going on … but kids are smart and they know things. I think it’s a good idea for both of his parents to try and keep his life as normal as possible. It looks like Xtina and Max had a fun morning at the pumpkin patch today … I just hope they are able to move forward with their lives in as happy and as healthy a way as possible.

Alicia Silverstone Joins Alanis Morissette & Baby Bump On An Afternoon Stroll

The Alanis Morissette Bump Watch continues this week as a cute new photo emerges of Alanis and Bump enjoying a lovely afternoon stroll here in SoCal with actress and BFF Alicia Silverstone:

A glowing and very pregnant looking Alanis Morissette was all smiles as she went for a gentle stroll yesterday. Meeting up with Clueless star Alicia Silverstone, the pair were spotted enjoying a chat and a laugh as they headed for a spot of lunch at famed hot spot Urth cafe in West Hollywood. The 36-year-old singer is thought to be in her second trimester after announcing she was pregnant with her first child back in August. The Canadian star wore a smart pair of pregancy jeans with a wide bump-friendly elasticated waist, teamed with a tight black vest top to show off her growing baby belly. Although she opted to wear comfortable patent leather flat pumps, the stylish mum-to-be was not giving up on fashion just yet – she jazzed-up her look with a sheer leopard-print blouse, which went nicely with her tiger design arm tattoo. Despite her generous bump, Alanis still has a way to go, with an estimated due date sometime in February.

Wee … I love seeing Alanis lookin’ so beautiful. I love it even more that she is BFFs with Alicia Silverstone, who I love entirely. I can totally see how these two lovely ladies would be friends. I hope we get to see more of these two hanging out … I just love them both.

Justin Gaston Goes Nekkid For PETA . . . Again

Back in July we got our first look at a batch of photos that feature If I Can Dream stars Ben Elliott, Giglianne Braga and Justin Gaston posing nekkid for an anti-fur campaign for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. Today, we get to see a new promo photo for the PETA campaign which features these very attractive, very nekkid folks one more time:

This summer, the world got a sneak peek at the If I Can Dream cast’s anti-fur campaign—and now Giglianne Braga, Ben Elliott, and Justin Gaston are ready to reveal their provocative new ad, which features the three sexy housemates embracing one another au naturel next to the words, “If You Need Fur to Keep Warm, You’ve Got Problems.” As shown in a recent episode of If I Can Dream, all five castmates welcomed PETA representatives into the house to talk about the fur industry. After watching a graphic video that showed how animals who are killed for their fur are beaten to death and often skinned alive, Braga, Elliott, and Gaston all agreed to strip for PETA’s anti-fur campaign. The housemates also sat down for exclusive interviews with PETA. “When I first saw the footage, I was pretty upset about it,” said actor Ben Elliott. “Like, I didn’t know animals got treated that way, and were, like, literally skinned alive … that’s awful.” Model Giglianne Braga, who is a lifelong vegetarian, added, “I don’t understand how people can do that, really. Just torture and kill like that for the sake of fashion.” The trio enjoyed the shoot—despite the awkwardness of going completely nude around their roommates. Musician Justin Gaston explained, “This is definitely the … raciest thing I’ve ever done.” But because it was “for a good cause,” Gaston was “really, really glad” that he got to be a part of it. I still LOVE that Justin Gaston felt the need to get Bible verses tattooed to such interesting places on his body … but that’s beside the point. You gotta love a threesome of attractive 20-somethings who have no problem stripping down for a good cause … am I right? Josh Holloway Surfaces On The Set Of ‘Mission: Impossible 4’

Last week we saw a few fairly impressive photos of actor Tom Cruise on the set of Mission: Impossible 4 working hard at doing his own stuntwork for the film. Today we get to see new photos of co-star Josh Holloway (ex-Lost) showing up on set for his first day of filming:


It’s clear that while Tom will be bizzy doing all the dangerous stuntwork, Josh will be standing around lookin’ pretty … with his hat on, with his hat off … with his scarf tucked in, with his scarf untucked … you know, the important stuff. It’s nice to see that Josh found work off the island of Lost so soon after the show’s end. I guess we’ll have to wait and see if he’s got what it takes to make it as a movie star now.

Amy Winehouse Does ‘Harper’s Bazaar’ Magazine

British trainwreck Amy Winehouse is featured in the new issue of Harper’s Bazaar magazine and in her short interview she discusses her fashion sense, her style inspiration and more. She was photographed by rocker turned photographer Bryan Adams … behold:

Controversy seems to follow Amy Winehouse wherever she goes, but her beehive hair, heavy eyeliner and widespread tattoos have also made her into something of a style icon, albeit an unwilling one. "A style, like, what?" the singer turned designer says in the November issue of Harper's Bazaar when asked if she considers herself a fashion icon. "No, of course not!" she tells the magazine. "I just dress like…I'm an old Jewish black man. I just dress like it's still the '50s." But when it comes to her own sources of fashion inspiration, Winehouse, shot by rock star turned photographer Bryan Adams in a dress from her sportswear collection for British brand Fred Perry, has a hard time deciding. "Elizabeth Taylor," she says, before changing her mind. "Not really. She had purple eyes. That's weird." But despite her indecision, Winehouse says she was quite certain when it came to working with British label Fred Perry on a fashion line. "I knew exactly what I wanted," she said of her vision for the collaboration. "And I love Fred Perry so much. I was honored," Amy says, before admitting that when the fashion house asked for her hand in the 17-piece clothing and accessories collection, she could hardly believe they picked her.

Yeah, I can hardly believe that Fred Perry picked Amy Winehouse to design clothing as well. For the most part, Amy looks like a disheveled mess … usually with streaked make-up and grit on her face, other times with blood and other gross things mixed in. I get that she may be a “fashion icon” to some when she’s all done up and clean but the first thing that comes to mind when I think of an Amy Winehouse Collection of clothing, I’m thinking dirty jeans, ripped blouses and soiled ballerina flat shoes. She looks good in this photo, yes, but a style icon designer she is not.

Eight Is Not Enough

So, I’ve made considerable progress in my attempt to finish Pokémon SoulSilver, the video game that is CONSUMING MY LIFE. I managed to catch the elusive Red Gyarados, earn all 8 Gym Badges AND add the legendary Pokémon Lugia to my collection:


I was under the assumption that all I needed to do was beat the Elite Four and the big boss Lance … but NOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Not only is there still a lot of work for me to do before I finish the last phases of the game … but after I finish, a WHOLE NEW WORLD of gameplay unlocks … meaning I’ll only be halfway done! I’m telling you, Pokémon games have gotten much more complicated in the past 10 years. You really get your money’s worth with these new video games. ONE MORE THING: Starting tomorrow October 15 until October 30 Nintendo is holding a Wifi Event where you can download a Level 5 Mew to your SoulSilver or HeartGold games … click HERE for all the deets. So, yeah, I’m pretty much looking at many many many more days ahead of video game play.

But … not tonight. Tonight, David and I will be heading out to the Mayan Theater downtown to see M.I.A. live in concert:


M.I.A. is touring with Rye Rye and they will be rockin’ LA tonight. I am so excited. It’s been a few years since I last saw M.I.A. in concert so I’m really looking forward to seeing her again. Woot!

All Summer long we’ve been seeing photos of Madonna hard at work directing her feature film W.E. and today we get our first look at the first promo materials for the film. Here is the newly released first poster for W.E.


I suppose the poster is OK considering the film is a period piece. At this point, I’m pretty sure Maddy still has a long way to go before the film is finished so … it’s a nice first poster. I can’t say that anything about it piques my interest or inspires me to want to see the film but … yeah. What do YOU think?

Chris Pine Does ‘Details’ Magazine

Chris Pine, who stars as the young Captain James T. Kirk in the newly rebooted Star Trek film franchise and will be seen in the new film Unstoppable later this year, is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Details magazine:


As of yet, Details has not made available any part of his coverstory interview … but in addition to this first look at his hawt coverphoto, they have also released a few photos from the accompanying photospread. Check out those photos, after the jump …


Apparently the coverstory article will be made available next Tuesday (hopefully with a few more photos) but this sneak peek is just the right kind of thing to keep me satisfied until then. Chris Pine looks good in these Details photos, y’all. He can beam me up anytime.

Mary Lynn Rajskub Surfaces On The Set Of ‘Modern Family’

Mary Lynn Rajskub, the amazing actress known for her role as Chloe O’Brien on 24, has been cast in an upcoming episode of Modern Family. Just yesterday, Mary Lynn joined the cast of the show to film her first scenes for the ep at The Grove here in Los Angeles, CA … behold:

It has been revealed … that Mary Lynn Rajskub … has been hired to portray [a] gay-radar-less girlfriend [on an upcoming episode of "Modern Family"]. Rajskub, who was last seen on “24″, arrived at The Grove in casual blue shirt and pants along with the show’s regular cast members such as Ed O’Neill, Sofia Vergara, twins Ella Hiller and Jaden Hiller, Eric Stonestreet, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson who plays Mitchell. The rest of the cast were not present. Shortly later, Rasjkub changed outfit to pattern shirt and blue cardigan while tagging along shopping bags. On the other end, Cam and Mitchell walk together with their baby Lily in stroll. It looks like they would film a scene where they bump into each other while shopping. ABC is yet to announce when Rasjkub’s character … will appear. The Emmy-winning comedy [airs] every Wednesday at 9/8c.

LOVE IT! Now, I must admit … I do not watch Modern Family but I hear from everyone who does that the show is very funny. David loves the show and watches it religiously. I’m gonna have to tune in to watch this particular episode because Mary Lynn is my girl and I lover her in pretty much everything! It’s unclear if her trademark scowl will be featured on the show as part of her character or if ML was just showing her realness on set … I can’t wait to see her on Modern Family and find out :)

Christina Aguilera Files For Divorce From Jordan Bratman

Oh yeah, they’re dunzo for sure. After it was reported on Tuesday that Christina Aguilera and hubby Jordan Bratman had split up and after Xtina issued a very vague statement about the split comes news today that she has just filed for divorce from her husband of just about 5 years. Whereas the couple claimed that there was nothing official about their split previously, this latest move on Xtina‘s part makes the dunzoness SO official:

Just days after confirming that she had separated on Sept. 11 from her husband Jordan Bratman, Christina Aguilera has filed for divorce, a source close to the singer confirms to PEOPLE. In the papers, Aguilera cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. She also asked for joint physical and legal custody of their son, Max.

TMZ has the divorce papers HERE, reveals that there is a prenuptial agreement in place and is circulating the rumor that it was cheating on Xtina‘s part that led to the initial split. HMMM. I mean, we may never know who if anyone cheated in that relationship but one thing is for sure … this break-up has gone from a mere separation to a full-on divorce. I suppose any chance of a reconciliation has pretty much been squashed. In the end, it’s prolly for the best in the long run … but still, it’s so sad to see a marriage come to an end.

David Arquette Apologizes For Being A Blabbermouth

Earlier this week, after we learned about the break-up of Courteney Cox and David Arquette, David went on The Howard Stern Show to talk publicly about the circumstances that led to the end of his marriage … offering very personal information about his relationship with his wife and the woman he’s been sleeping with since the couple’s separation. In hindsight it appears that Arquette has seen the error of his ways and has offered a public Twitter apology for his comments … read on:

Thank you all for your Love and support at this time. I’m trying figuring out how to be the best person I can be. / but it’s been a process of trial and error. I went on Howard Stern yesterday to provide clarity and honesty about what I’m experiencing / but while doing that I shared too much…it’s alright for me to be honest about my own feelings but in retrospect some of the information / I provided involved others and for that I am sorry and humbled..Life is a process of spiritual evolution / I’m sure Courteney and myself will emerge from this painful time better people for what we’ve learned.

Yeah, I’m sure David Arquette is a nice guy … but I can’t help but think of him as a doofus. I cannot believe that he would go on a national radio program and share all those intimate details about his marriage and NOT think it was a very bad idea at the time. My guess is that someone had to tell him that he over-shared … and I’m guessing that person was his estranged wife Courteney Cox. You know, at least he apologized. That’s something, right? LOL.

Bosnia Revokes Filming Permission For Angelina Jolie’s Movie

Yesterday we saw photos of pseudo-hubby Brad Pitt visiting his pseudo-wife Angelina Jolie on the Hungarian set of the film she is directing there but today we learn that future filming plans for her movie have hit a major obstacle. Production of the film was due to move on to Sarajevo because the film is said to tell the tale of a love story that takes place during the Bosnian war. But, Bosnia has decided to revoke Angelina‘s filming rights in the country due to complaints from women’s groups about the subject matter of the film:

Bosnian authorities on Wednesday revoked permission for US star Angelina Jolie to shoot part of her directorial debut film there after complaints from a women war victims group, Bosnian radio reported. Gavrilo Grahovac, the Culture Minister of the Muslim-Croat federation — one of the two entities in post-war Bosnia — revoked permission to shoot scenes in Sarajevo and the central town Zenica, he said on Bosnian radio. Hollywood trade daily Variety reported that the film will tell the story of a Serbian man and Bosnian woman who fall in love in the middle of the war, but are driven to take different paths. However Bosnian press reported the movie would be a love story between a Muslim victim and her rapist, a Serb, causing outrage among victims’ groups. “They no longer have the authorisation to shoot in Bosnia. They will have it if they send us the scenario with a story which will be different from what we have been told by people who read it,” Grahovac told the radio. The culture minister said that while he could not stop the film from being shot somewhere else, revoking the filming license was a way to “express our disapproval for the shooting of a movie which does not tell the truth and hurts a large number of victims”. Jolie has already started shooting the film in Hungary and was planning to continue it in Bosnia. According to Bosnian actress Zana Marjanovic, who has landed the lead in the movie, the film is “an epic drama against the backdrop of the 1992-92 Bosnian war”. But women war victims groups were up in arms over the film’s reported subject of a rapist and his victim falling in love. “This is misleading history. Among thousands of testimonies by women raped during the war, there is not a single one that tells of a love story between a victim and her rapist,” Bakira Hasecic, the head of the “Women victims of war” association in Sarajevo, told AFP. “We will not allow anyone to falsify our pain,” she added.

It sounds like either there is a misunderstanding about the film’s storyline (which will likely be cleared up very quickly, if that is the case) or Angelina is trying to pull a fast one on the people of Bosnia. I cannot, for the life of me, imagine a scenario where Angelina Jolie would want to make a movie about a woman falling in love with her rapist … so I’m certain that this hullabaloo will turn out to be much ado about nothing. Still, I applaud the Bosnian government for making it very clear that they hold the women’s groups in their country in such high regard. I’m curious to see what happens next … I hope it will all get sorted out — either the misunderstanding will be cleared up OR we’ll know for sure what kind of movie Angelina Jolie is trying to make.

Dina Lohan Reportedly Shopping A Reality Show About Lindsay In Rehab

Yesterday we heard a cute story about Lindsay Lohan — currently rehabbing at the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, CA — trying to escape the grounds of the rehab center so that she could score a bottle of Coca-Cola (which L. Lo‘s lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley is today debunking). Today we hear about a story that is just so gross … I can’t even wrap my head around it. There is a new report out that makes the claim that Lindsay‘s mother, Dina Lohan, is trying to turn her daughter’s much publicized stint in rehab into a money-making venture. According to this new report, Dina is not only trying to orchestrate the exclusive sale of paparazzi photographs of Lindsay and her family inside the Betty Ford Center but is also trying to shop footage of Lindsay in rehab … to be turned into a reality TV show!

Dina Lohan is allegedly shopping a new reality show pegged to her daughter Lindsay's current trip to rehab. Lindsay is currently undergoing treatment at The Betty Ford Center in Palm Springs. As RadarOnline.com previously reported, she is being treated for an addiction to cocaine. According to Kickster, Dina is planning for an upcoming visit with Lindsay and is allegedly hoping to sell photos of the trip (which her other kids Michael Jr., 22, Ali, 16, and Cody, 13, will be present for). "Not only has Dina been ‘shopping’ around her upcoming trip to visit Lindsay in rehab at Betty Ford… to media outlets for the sale of pictures BUT she is doing it to develop a new REALITY SHOW!”," a source told the site … “She can’t get a show about her own life, so she’s using Lindsay’s troubles to get her a reality show,” Michael told RadarOnline.com.

I want to clarify that this report is mere rumor at this point, there is no proof (outside of nameless “sources”) that Dina is actually doing these things BUT I absolutely believe that Dina Lohan would do these sorts of things. There has been much talk about the Lohan family’s dwindling money supplies since Lindsay‘s legal woes got serious … and it’s pretty common knowledge that Dina is not the best mother out there. So, yeah, altho this report is unsubstantiated … I very sadly believe it has at least some merit. Gross.
