Nadine Denies Resolving Feud With Chezza!

Lame! These two need to do this at some point!

Despite reports that Nadine Coyle and Cheryl Cole had met in private to resolve their issues, the Insatiable singer came forward to reveal that it was only a rumor, and that the two former Girls Aloud members have yet to speak!

UGH.

She elaborates:

"Everyone experiences rumors in life. Someone says she's done this or he did that. It's one of those things that's unavoidable and everybody goes through it. Let them just keep talking as long as they're enjoying themselves."

Or how about you squash the rumors by actually just sitting down and dealing with your issues?

This whole feud has taken on a life of its own, and it needs to be squashed!

Please! Be big girls and just have a chat!

Thoughts??

Finally! Mark Twain's Autobiography Is Being Published

mark-twain-autobiography.jpg

Wrap your heads around this.

Before there was Barnes and Nobles and Amazon.com, there was just authors and their publishers, attempting to figure out ways to sell books to the masses on their own merit. Mark Twain had proven that he was ahead of his time as an author time and time again, but now it seems he was ahead of his time as a marketer as well.

Legend has it that Mark Twain sat down to write his autobiography over 100 years ago and before he died, he asked that his life story not be published until he has dead 100 years. We've now reached that point and literary fans are finally getting their hands on the first volume (of three) of the long-anticipated behind-the-man story never told.

What makes this so unique is not only the fact that it is the story of Mark Twain as told by Mark Twain, but there is reportedly stories of his life never been told before - scandalous ones that publishers years ago wouldn't have dreamed of publishing.

Here's a few excerpts from the book, just to intrigue you a bit:

On Not Sweating The Small Fries

"This book is not a revenge-record. When I build a fire under a person in it, I do not do it merely because of the enjoyment I get out of seeing him fry, but because he is worth the trouble. It is then a compliment, a distinction; let him give thanks and keep quiet. I do not fry the small, the commonplace, the unworthy."

On His Autobiography Plan

"It is a system which is a complete and purposed jumble — a course which begins nowhere, follows no specific route, and can never reach an end while I am alive, for the reason that if I should talk to the stenographer two hours a day for a hundred years, I should still never be able to set down a tenth part of the things which have interested me in my lifetime."

On Forming An Opinion

"In the matter of slavish imitation, man is the monkey's superior all the time. The average man is destitute of independence of opinion. He is not interested in contriving an opinion of his own, by study and reflection, but is only anxious to find out what his neighbor's opinion is and slavishly adopt it."

On Critics

"It is the will of God that we must have critics, and missionaries, and Congressmen, and humorists, and we must bear the burden. Meantime, I seem to have been drifting into criticism myself. But that is nothing. At the worst, criticism is nothing more than a crime, and I am not unused to that."

Good stuff!

Think U might give it a read?

Friendly Exes!

Or are they back together??

They filed for divorce last month, but Ben Harper and Laura Dern, spotted with the family in Brentwood, CA, seem to be chummy-chummy with each other. Could it be that they've reconciled?

Or maybe they're just putting up a happy front for their two children, 9-year-old Ellery and 5-year-old Jaya.

Whichever it is, we hope these two can work it out. Especially for the kids.

South Park Creators Sued AGAIN For Stealing

Posted: 15 Nov 2010 12:00 PM PST

Sheesh! This is becoming a bad habit.

First, South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker were forced to apologize for copying a spoof of the movie Inception from the CollegeHumor website and now they're being sued for ripping off the viral YouTube phenomenon What What (In the Butt).

Producers of the video, Brownmark Films filed a copyright infringement lawsuit against Viacom, claiming that the breach was "willful, intentional, and purposeful, in disregard of an indifferent to the rights of Brownmark." The company is seeking a permanent injunction and maximum statutory damages.

The segment is very similar to Samwell's video, but we still think it's just a parody and could be deemed "fair use."

What do U think? Did Matt and Trey use artistic expression or was it copyright infringement?

Amy Winehouse chatting up X Factor contestant Katie Waissel at the singer's favorite bar, The Hawley Arms, in Camden!

We're not sure how we feel about Katie drinking during the competition!

She shouldn't be getting too comfortable!

One decent performance - especially after weeks of duds - isn't going to secure her a win!

Gerard Butler Performs With John Mayer At Star-Studded Birthday Party

We would have loved to seen that!

Gerard Butler had a star-studded birthday party Saturday night at The Darby in NY with A-list celebs like Adrien Brody, Kate Hudson, Bono, and Jay-Z.

Gerard went on stage with "mistress of ceremonies" cabaret star Lady Rizo aka Amelia Zirin-Brown who called him "Mistress Butler."

But the best part was his "outrageous version of Mustang Sally" with John Mayer.

An eyewitness at the party said:

"Gerry also sang Oasis hit Wonderwall with Lady Rizo and Mayer played guitar. They then followed it up with Mustang Sally. He had a pretty good voice — it wasn't what you'd expect from the guy from 300. It was epic. He was also in the deejay booth a lot and got the deejay to play a lot of rock, '80s and funk.

Gerry announced to the crowd that Mayer was going to sing for them, but John replied he just wanted to play guitar while Lady Rizo sang. So he had the crowd cheer to hear Mayer perform. Mayer then sang his hit Who Says."

Sounds like an amazing party! Happy 41st birthday, Gerry!

Auctioned Artwork Owned By Late Dennis Hopper Went For Over $10 Million

dennis-hopper-artwork-sells-for-millions.jpg

He had some pretty rare and important pieces in his possession.

As Dennis Hopper has passed, his collection of artwork was auctioned off this weekend at Christie's in New York. Of the over 40 pieces sold off, there were some rare paintings that went for a lot of money including a portrait of the actor by Andy Warhol and works by Robert Graham and British graffiti artist Banksy. In the end, the Hopper estate made over $10 million off of the lot.

There is said to be another auction of Hopper's artwork in January. Wonder if his money-grubbying ex-wife will try to get her hands on the profits of these things?
