Britney Spears’s Parents Are Together Again

Prince William and Kate Middleton aren’t the only couple celebrating their happy relationship today … Britney Spears‘s once-estranged parents Lynne and Jamie Spears are also celebrating their rekindled love together. After many years divorced and separated, Lynne and Jamie are reportedly working on a reconcilation that would mend their failed marriage!

Britney Spears’s s parents, Lynne and Jamie Spears, are reconciling eight years after their divorce. “They are back together and are doing well and happy,” a source tells PEOPLE. “[They're] not remarried but back together.” The couple, who divorced in 2002, were looking friendly on Saturday at Los Angeles lounge Boudoir. Onlookers at the lounge spotted Lynne and Jamie cheering and dancing as DJ Mr. Best spun Britney’s hits, like “Toxic” and “Gimme More.” “They were in a great mood together,” says an onlooker. “They were laughing together – dancing and laughing [and] totally having fun.” “Lynne is a dear, sweet person,” a family friend tells PEOPLE. “She deserves happiness. As her friend, my wish for her would be a happy ending.”

Aww … what great news. Despite the fact that the couple couldn’t make their relationship work before, it sounds like they’ve really grown very close and very fond of one another in recent months. I think it would be really fantastic if Lynne and Jamie could find love together again. While her parents have been bizzy gettin’ back together again, our dear Britney Spears has been doing her own thing around town:


Britney has been workin’ at the recording studio on the days she’s not shopping up a storm around SoCal. I doubt that Britney will be commenting publicly anytime soon about her parents’ reported reconciliation but something tells me that she’s prolly very happy that her mama and papa are back together again.

Yesterday we got our first look at Babe of the Year Scarlett Johansson on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of GQ magazine … today, it’s the boys’ turn. GQ has selected the Men of the Year for 2010 and here is our first look at some of the years honorees:


Jeff Bridges has been named the Icon of the Year, Drake has been named the Breakout of the Year, James Franco has been named the Leading Man of the Year and Stephen Colbert has been named the Patriot of the Year. A week ago today we got our first look at a very pregnant and very nekkid Miranda Kerr in the pages of W magazine … today, we get to see the heavily pregs Miranda fully clothed on the cover and in the pages of Australian Vogue magazine … behold:


I understand that Miranda is the first pregnant model to grace the cover of Aussie Vogue magazine … she looks absolutely glorious, don’t she? While I think that all pregnant women are beautiful, I honestly think that being pregs actually makes Miranda even more beautiful than she already was. Eva Longoria & Tony Parker Are NOT Dunzo! [UPDATE]

While a great many people are celebrating today’s news that Prince William of Wales has gotten engaged to be married to longtime girlfriend Kate Middleton, there is a bit of somewhat surprising break-up news to share … according to TMZ, Eva Longoria and her husband of 3 years Tony Parker have just filed for divorce in Houston, TX. Eva and Tony are dunzo, y’all!

Eva Longoria and Tony Parker are getting divorced … TMZ has learned. Parker filed for divorce yesterday in Texas. The “Desperate Housewives” actress and the San Antonio Spurs star married back in July of 2007. Eva has stated that she has Tony’s initials tattooed on her body … in a mystery spot. She also has Tony’s jersey number — “Nine” — tattooed on the back of her neck.

To be honest, I was completely unaware that anything was amiss in the couple’s relationship but I guess things like this aren’t always public knowledge. It is interesting that it was Tony who filed for divorce from Eva … usually, it’s the other way around. At this point, we don’t know what the cause of the split is but I’m sure the stories will start going around shortly. Alas … another Hollywood marriage bites the dust. So sad.

UPDATE: There are other reports going around in the wake of this news that claim that press reps for Longoria and Parker are DENYING that the couple are divorcing. Stay tuned …

UPDATE 2: TMZ has published a retraction to their Longoria/Parker divorce story. Eva‘s publicist confirmed to TMZ that the couple are NOT getting divorced. Here are the updated deets as reported by TMZ:

A rep for Eva Longoria tells TMZ our story that Tony Parker filed for divorce is not true. TMZ reported that Tony had filed for divorce. Two clerks at the Bexar County Courthouse in Texas had told us the case was filed and sealed by a family law judge. But Eva’s rep tells us Tony did not file and does not even have a divorce lawyer. Another clerk at the courthouse now tells us she’s in charge of sealed cases and says no such case has crossed her desk.

Whew! Well that’s good news. It’s very rare that TMZ gets a story like this so wrong but at least they were very quick about publishing a retraction. I am very happy to know that things are hunky-dory in the marriage of Eva Longoria and Tony Parker :D

Enfianced Prince William & Kate Middleton Meet The Press

Earlier today we learned the exceedingly happy news that Prince William of Wales and his longtime girlfriend Kate Middleton have gotten themselves engaged to be married next year. Just a few hours ago, the prince and his princess-to-be met with and posed for the world press so that they could show off Kate‘s beautiful engagement ring. It turns out that William gave Kate his late mother Princess Diana‘s engagement ring, the very one that Prince Charles gave to her when they got engaged in the early 80′s:

Hours after news of their royal engagement broke, Prince William and bride-to-be Kate Middleton appeared for the first time as an engaged couple during a photo call at St. James’s Palace – and her ring was on view … Prince William has honored his late mother by giving his new fiancée Kate Middleton the engagement ring that Prince Charles once gave to Princess Diana. "It's very special to me. As Kate's very special to me now, it was right to put the two together," William said as the newly-engaged couple faced the cameras for the first time today. The ring is an oval sapphire surrounded by diamonds. William proposed to Kate on a safari in Kenya in October, but he first asked her father for permission to propose. Michael Middleton said that he and his wife are "absolutely delighted" and "thrilled" by the engagement announcement.The wedding, which will take place in the spring or summer of 2011, is already being heralded as the biggest wedding since Charles and Diana's.

I mean … I can’t even take it. Could this engagement be any more perfect? What an amazing gift for William to give Kate … I cannot even wrap my head around the fact that Kate is now wearing the very ring that Diana wore when she got engaged to Prince Charles:


The wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton will be such a huge event … in this day and age of immediate news, I can’t even imagine how big of a celebration it will be. Even tho we knew this day would some day come, the fact that the couple are now officially engaged to be married just makes the whole thing seem really real. This is all so exciting … I can’t wait to follow the preparations leading up to the big day which will FINALLY HAPPEN next year :D

Tom Lenk Has A ‘Nerdgasm’ In LA

Last night Josh and I made our way to the Comedy Central stage at the Hudson Theater here in Los Angeles, CA to see our good friend Tom Lenk perform his one man show Nerdgasm LIVE on stage:


Tom has been performing his show all over the WORLD lately and last night it was LA’s turn to see his amazingness live on stage. After the jump, check out a few photos that I snapped at the show last night and find out which of Tom‘s Buffy the Vampire Slayer co-stars and real life BFF came out to the show to lend her support …


During the audience participation portion of the show, Tom‘s BFF and Buffy co-star Alyson Hannigan appeared on stage to join in the fun. While Aly‘s inclusion was fun, it is Tom‘s mastery of comedy (and song and dance, kinda) that really make this show a must see. Tom shares funny stories from his tenure on Broadway and manages to make you feel his pleasure … and pain. The show is really fantastic … if Tom Lenk comes to YOUR town you MUST see his show live. I understand that Tom *may* be doing another performance here in LA next month … keep your peepers peeped. Tom Lenk‘s Nerdgasm is NOT to be missed :D

After a fun Monday night, my Tuesday looks kinda boring … so I may just stay in and chill. Happy Tuesday, y’all!

‘Burlesque’ Premieres In Hollywood

The legendary Cher and her young co-star Christina Aguilera were among the folks who came out to Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood, CA last night for the LA premiere of their new film Burlesque. Earlier today we learned that Xtina was on hand to receive her very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame yesterday afternoon but after a quick outfit change she was back on Hollywood Blvd. for her big premiere. Here are a few photos from the red carpet arrivals at last night’s premiere of Burlesque:


For the most part, the reviews that I’ve been hearing about Burlesque have been mostly positive … still, I’m not sure I’m convinced. None of the trailers that I have seen of the film have impressed me at all and I have to wonder how this girl from a small town moves to the big city and hits it big story will stand apart from the countless other movies that tell the same story. Still, I have faith in Cher‘s amazing abilities as an actress so … I might give the movie a shot. Burlesque opens on November 24 … do you think YOU will be there to see it on opening day?

Kellan Lutz Caught Creepin’ With His Ex-Girlfriend AnnaLynne McCord

Despite the fact that we heard last week that on-again off-again couple AnnaLynne McCord and Kellan Lutz had broken up, the pair were spotted making their way out of a cheap motel in Studio City, CA early yesterday lookin’ very much like their secret rendezvous got busted by the paparazzi. As you can see, Kellan and AnnaLynne went to great lengths to try and keep this tryst a secret … AnnaLynne even went so far as to wear a cheap wig and sunglasses as a disguise:


LMAO!! So busted. To be honest, I don’t get what the big secret is about … the couple have been dating for a while, they break-up they make-up and then they break-up again … and now they’re sneaking around in cheap motels? It’s just so … funny. Look, if this is what it takes to keep their romantic affiliation spicy, then more power to them. I just hope AnnaLynne will invest in better looking wigs if she’s gonna keep creepin’ around like this.

‘Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides’ Releases A Teaser Poster

Here is our first look at the first teaser poster released for the upcoming sequel film Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides:


As you may know, On Stranger Tides will be released in theaters on May 20, 2011 and will feature Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow paired with a new ladylove played by the pregs Penélope Cruz. Altho this poster is fairly simple, I think it kinda cool that the skull appears to be silver. It’s a subtle change that does give a bit of an updated feel for the film. I’m hopeful that the 4th Pirates film will turn out to be a fun, action-packed adventure. I wasn’t all that wowed by the last Pirates film so … I guess we’ll have to wait and see if this latest installment will bring back the fun.

‘Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows – Part 1’ Premieres In NYC

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 had its world premiere in London, England last Thursday but the Hogwart’s gang made their way to NYC, NY last night to attend the US premiere of the film. Here are a few photos of Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint and others on the red carpet at Alice Tully Hall for the BIG EVENT in Manhattan last night:


Emma, stunning as always, was a vision on the red carpet … tho, I think I prefer the dress she wore to the London premiere to this one. DanRad and Rupert were lookin’ fine, as was their co-star Ralph Fiennes. Madonna‘s eldest child Lourdes Maria attended the HP premiere last night as did new Glee castmember Darren Criss. The Deathly Hallows has finally invaded the US and the final countdown to the film’s wide release is upon us. Are you ready already, cuz I sure am! Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 opens in theaters this Friday.

Christina Aguilera Gets A Star On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame

Congratulations are in order for pop star turned actress Christina Aguilera because yesterday she was honored in Hollywood, CA with her very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Xtina was the proud recipient of the 2,423rd star on the Walk of Fame and she shared the special honor with her mother Shelly Loraine, her younger brother Michael Aguilera and a gaggle of friends, fans and well-wishers. Here are a few photos and deets from yesterday’s special ceremony on the Hollywood Walk of Fame:

Grammy-winning US pop singer Christina Aguilera was honored with a star on Hollywood’s celebrity Walk of Fame, barely a week before her feature film debut. The star, the 2,423rd on the famous sidewalk roll call of celebrities past and present, was unveiled on Monday, nine days before her acting skills go on display when “Burlesque” hits the silver screen, co-starring Cher. “As a young girl in Pittsburgh, I often imagined what it would be like to come to Hollywood and make it as a performer,” the 29-year-old told screaming fans on Hollywood Boulevard. “We would go from audition to audition and I would sing anthem after anthem … hoping one day it would all pay off. Standing here at this moment I know that it has paid off in spades,” she added. Aguilera won the first of her four Grammys in 1999 as best new artist, followed by best pop collaboration in 2001, and best female pop vocal performance in 2003 and 2006.

Aww … good for her!! Even tho our dear Britney Spears was honored with her star (the 2,242nd) on the Hollywood Walk of Fame 7 years ago on November 17, 2003, I’m certain that Xtina is very pleased that she finally got a star of her own ;) In all seriousness, despite what your personal feelings about Xtina may be, I think it’s a crime that it took this long for her to get a star on the Walk of Fame. There is no question that Xtina is a talented singer and IMHO she is much more worthy of a Walk of Fame star than many of her predecessors (the Olsen twins come to mind). It’s about time Xtina got a star of her own. Let’s send our heartiest congrats to Xtina on her latest accomplishment. She may be losing a husband but a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is forever!

Watch: Michael Jackson, ‘One More Chance’

We already know that a Michael Jackson‘s first posthumous album of new material will be released on December 14 but did you know that a different box set of MJ material is due for release later this month? Vision is a 3 DVD box set that will compile a collection of previously released videos and just one brand new, previously unreleased music video … and today we get our first look at that unreleased video for the 2003 song One More Chance:

For the first time in years … a brand new Michael Jackson music video has surfaced … one that MJ first began working on back in 2003. [Yesterday], the long awaited video for the 2003 MJ song “One More Chance” mysteriously appeared online … and TMZ has confirmed it’s the real deal. Michael first began to work on the shoot back in ’03 — but had to put everything on hold to deal with the raid on Neverland. As we first reported, MJ’s people had been working to put the finishing touches on the video … and now that it’s complete, they plan to include it with a Michael Jackson box set called “Vision” that will be released later this month.

HMMM. I have watched and rewatched this newly surfaced music video and I am having a very hard time believing that it is Michael Jackson in the video. Even if MJ filmed his scenes for the One More Chance music video back in 2003, I don’t think that it looks like him at all in the clip. To be honest, no matter what gets released and authenticated as genuine in the wake of Michael Jackson‘s death, it will ALL come under suspicion as fake. Some people do not believe that MJ is singing on the new singles Breaking News and/or Hold My Hand, and now this suspicious-looking music video. What do y’all think? Does this look like Michael Jackson to you? Do you like the video either way?

Prince William Of Wales & Kate Middleton Are Gettin’ Hitched!

Happy news to pass along today … the event that many of us have been talking about FOR YEARS has finally taken place. Prince William Arthur Philip Louis of Wales and his longtime ladylove Catherine Elizabeth Kate Middleton have FINALLY gotten themselves engaged to be married!!! I can’t even express how excited I am by this news. Ever since I started my blog back in 2004, I’ve been speculating, guessing, hoping, talking about the possibility that Prince Wills and Kate (who met in college back in 2001) might get married one day. And today … it finally happened … the British Royal Family have announced that Wills and Kate have gotten engaged to be man and wife:

The wait is over: Prince William and Kate Middleton, having been a couple on and off for eight years, are finally set to wed, they have announced. While no date has been revealed, it is thought the ceremony will be held in a few months and be the biggest since William’s mother, Diana, married Prince Charles. “Everyone is absolutely delighted. He has never had eyes for any other woman since Kate came on the scene,” says an old friend. “She is going to make a wonderful wife, a wonderful princess.” Both the future bride and groom are 28.

Apparently, Wills asked Kate to marry him last month … he even went thru the tradition of asking her father for her hand in marriage. You may recall that the photo of the couple featured above was snapped last month at a wedding of a friend of the couple … might that have been the catalyst for William to propose to Kate? Whatever the case may be, the couple are engaged and they will likely be married in the Spring of next year … how excited!! The Prince of Wales is delighted to announce the engagement of Prince William to Miss Catherine Middleton. The wedding will take place in the Spring or Summer of 2011, in London. Further details about the wedding day will be announced in due course. Prince William and Miss Middleton became engaged in October during a private holiday in Kenya. Prince William has informed The Queen and other close members of his family. Prince William has also sought the permission of Miss Middleton’s father. Following the marriage, the couple will live in north Wales, where Prince William will continue to serve with the Royal Air Force.

What a happy day for the British Royal Family and, indeed, for the entire United Kingdom. Let’s send all our love and heartiest congratulations to the future King and Queen of England — the newly engaged Prince William and Princess-to-be Kate Middleton :)
