Last night, Jamie Foxx, Garcelle Beauvais and Boris Kodjoe attended a posh event for The Little Princess Foundation. See the pics inside and also see Serena Williams and Lil' Wayne sitting courtside in Miami for the NBA Finals. Last night, Surreal4Real hosted a charity event benefiting The Little Princess Foundation & Haven Hills at Vibiana in Los Angeles, CA. Former tv co-stars Jamie Foxx and Garcelle Beauvais posed together at the event.
I love Garcelle's pairing of the pink heels with the royal blue dress. Gorgeous look for her as usual.
Jamie kicked it with actor Cedric Sanders.
Jamie also posed with Warren Braithwaite.
Actress Malika Haqq looked hot in soft yellow on the red carpet. Well isn't this a cute little ATL reunion.
Lovely mustard colored dress for Lauren London. Later during the evening, Malika and Lauren posed with singer Shanice. Love that she came out of hiding. Actress Joyful Drake was there too.
And the sexy Boris Kodjoe was also at the event looking pretty dapper.
And in Miami.......
Last night, the Dallas Mavericks stunned the Miami Heat by taking Game 2 of the NBA Finals, winning 95-93, and Serena Williams and Lil' Wayne were there to see it all. Serena Williams was among the celebs sitting courtside last night at the Mavericks challenged the Heat last night. Serena loves her cell cam.

Jill Scott is embarking on a tour this summer to hype the release of her Light Of The Sun disc dropping on June 28. Find out when Jilly from Philly will be in a town near you inside.... Jill's upcoming summer tour is being billed as a string of block parties and will feature special guests Anthony Hamilton, Mint Condition and Doug E. Fresh. The tour begins July 28th in New York City and other dates are: July 30: Detroit She's also set to hit the main stage at Essence Music Fest in New Orleans on July 5th. Gettin' my tix on lock NOW....

The newest addition to the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" clan is speaking out before the season even gets started. Marlo Hampton, who is dating and reportedly engaged to cast member NeNe's alleged ex boo, Charles Grant (pictured here), is addressing the reports of her past 7 arrests. Read on... After this ish broke these past couple days--revealed charges of weapon possessions and probation violations and assaults--Marlo sent out a statement to clear up things. Kinda.

Deets inside..... While delivering a speech at her Angel Wings Foundation dinner at Georgica in East Hampton last weekend, model Jessica White revealed she was abused as a child. Though the admission was hard, Jessica said,
Saying that she has "the blood of a warrior," she also announced that she's creating an online campaign to help victims of child abuse with Russell Simmons and Gabrielle Union, as well as organizing an Angel Wings gala in November. It's great to see Jessica putting this together and giving back. I wonder if her past drug abuse was related to the child abuse she suffered?

It's one thing to wear the exact same outfit--or extremely similar one--every time you go to the club in order to save some change. It's a whole other to wear the thinnest most sheer outfit to the club since it's likely the cheapest.
Meagan Good rocked this 'fit for a night of partying this week in L.A. Somebody didn't give her the memo stockings just won't work as pants. Pics when you read on...
Um, I figured the sheer shirt was done on purpose, but as I continued to scroll....we see your panties boo. At least she had enough sense to tie a sweater around her waist so we only saw some of her panty. She's too pretty for this ish.

On the third season premiere of TNT's "Hawthorne" on June 14, Jada Pinkett Smith’s “Christina Hawthorne” lead character navigates a love triangle between “Detective Nick Renata” (singer/actor Marc Anthony) and on-again/off-again flame Dr. Tom Wakefield (Michael Vartan – “Alias”)...all while she's pregnant. Cast members Derek Luke (Antwone Fisher, Notorious) and Lauren Velez ("Dexter," "New York Undercover") round out the season 3 cast of the show.
It's just make believe but Jada is a beautiful bride either way.

After the crazy on-air feud between New York's Power 105 "The Breakfast Club" host Charlamagne Tha God and Hot 97's Mister Cee's homie DJ Funkmaster Flex, we figured Charlamagne would have something to say about Mister Cee's guilty plea he copped yesterday.
The folks over at BET chatted with the outspoken Charlamagne to see if this feud is going to go even harder now. Read on for what he had to say... Gyant over at BET spoke to the Power 105 host about how this guilty plea for lewd sexual act charges involving another man is going to change the game for one of hip hop's most influential DJ's:

We already told you that the Parents Television Council had attacked Rihanna over the suggested violence in the "Man Down" video and now she is speaking out asserting her artistic freedom and right to make political statements. Read what she said inside...
Rihanna responded to critics of her most recent video via twitter today where she asserted her right to be an artist and make political statements. She also mentioned that one of the reasons children don't open up to their parents is because parents don't know how to tackle difficult subjects. Hmmmm.....what do you think? In addition to the normal, everyday drama that each cast member of the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" brings to the table, the newest member, Marlo Hampton, seems to be dragging along a closet full of skeletons, mugshots and criminal charges with her. Get the deets on the reality tv star's criminal past inside....
Before we even meet Marlo Hampton, the newest addition to RHOA, there's some foolery about her we need to know. First, she has been linked to (and reportedly engaged to) NeNe Leake's rumored NFLer jump-off Charles Grant. And secondly, if the mugshots are any indication, Marlo knows her way around the criminal justice system. Hmmm.....paging Attorney Phaedra Parks! So what's behind all the mugshots? In the July 2011 issue of ESSENCE Magazine, Beyonce penned her own cover story (her very first one) for the first time, where she discusses her fourth studio album 4, and the year that changed her life. Hmm....I wonder what year that could be? Her story is titled Eat, Play, Love—and in her own words shares how a nine-month break and life’s simple pleasures reignited her creativity and renewed her soul. Here's an excerpt from Beyonce's article:
On the cover, Bey toned down her usual high-fashion extra glammed up photoshoot persona for a casual chic look. She's wearing a white cotton halter summer dress with brown threaded accents and straps. And with casual jewelry and an updo, she looks to be chillin' in a grassy summer setting. Nice. Also, Beyonce is reportedly in London now perfecting her concert set as she will close the Glastonbury Festival on June 26th. Good luck Bey! |
