EVENT FAB: The 12th Annual Day Of The Child Event+Ron Artest's Official Birthday Celebration

Posted: 15 Nov 2010 08:27 AM PST

Many of our YBF celebs like Kenny Lattimore, Forest Whitaker and Gabrielle Union were out in LA yesterday raising money for a good cause.  See pics inside plus photos from Ron Artest's birthday party in LA.

Children Uniting Nations 12th Annual Day Of The Child Event was held at the Star Eco Station in Los Angeles, CA yesterday.

It may be the holiday season but Gabrielle Union looked like she was ready for a summer picnic.  Still cute.

She even took some time to pose for the kids.

And kicked it with Daphna Edwards Ziman and Adrian Grenier.

Oh hey Forest Whitaker.

Forest Whitaker and his wife Keisha hit the carpet with their kids:

Heavy D also hit the event.  Where you been Diddly D?

As did Reggie Miller......in that shirt.  SMDH.

Cutie Kenny Lattimore was there.

Inside, Kenny Lattimore hung out with Abraham McDonald and Kenneth Crouch.

And later that night, many celebs went to the Conga Room at L.A. Live for Ron Artest's bday.

Funny lady Luenell was there.

Ron Ron partied it up of course.

Laker baller Matt Barnes came out to support his teammate.

I wonder if he rapped some of his songs.

And Faith Evans hit the mic.

Actor David Arquette went a little overboard with his Laker Love.

I guess we know who David wants to see in the finals.

Ron took a group shot with all the lovely ladies, stylist Gina Everett, Luenell, wife Kimsha Hatfield, Faith Evans and Antonique Smith.

At the end of the night, Ron got on stage to thank his guests along with his wife Kimsha Hatfield.  Sweet.

Kim Kardashian was spotted on the sidelines of the Knicks game last night with her producer The Dream.  I can only imagine what type of music these two are making.  If any at all, from the look on Dream's face.

CAPTION IT!

More pics for the road:

Is he still ricking a wedding band?  Sigh....

Whitney & Ray-J BACK ON?!+Keri Hilson Gets Hot For JONES Mag

Posted: 15 Nov 2010 06:38 AM PST

Are Whitney Houston and Ray-J chummy chummy again?  Word has it they're re-hashing the romance they never really claimed in the first place.

The deets, plus Keri Hilson's Jones magazine cover, when you read on...

The NY Daily News claims that Whit and Ray-J were spotted sharing dinner...and a room at the Ritz Carlton...in Atlanta and Houston:

Reunited couple alert! Whitney Houston, 47, and singer/reality star Ray J, 29, are back together again. The two dined together at Capital Grille in Atlanta on Thursday. A source close to the lovebirds told us that though this was their first date in a long time, Ray J postponed his promotional tour for a few days and spent the night with Houston at the Ritz Carlton. (Houston's rep did not respond by deadline.)

Hmmm.

Keri Hilson is covering Jones mag's Black Girls Rock! issue.  She's looking fab.  And here's the behind the scenes vid:

That tattoo....

And Kid Capri hit the 1/s and 2's.  Fun times I'm sure...

Diddy Pissy At Jay Electronica For Signing To Roc Nation? + Lamar Odom Suing His Baby Mama

Posted: 14 Nov 2010 10:22 AM PST

Not everyone was thrilled about rapper Jay Electronica signing to Roc Nation. Diddy, a close friend of Jay-E's, felt betrayed by his decision to throw up the Roc sign. He took to twitter to vent his feelings. Read more about Diddy's tweets and find out why Lamar Odom has decided to sue the mother of his kids from his previous relationship...

Over the last year, Diddy has tried to lure Jay Electronica to sign a deal with Bad Boy Records. They even recorded the track titled "The Ghost of Christopher Wallace" together. But it looks like his attempts of courting Jay-E fell short.

Although his tweets did not name Electronica specifically, Rap Radar says Diddy tweeted about feeling betrayed moments after Electronica announced his deal with Roc Nation.

Do I sense some "bitchassness?"

Jay Electronica's baby moms, Erkyah Badu tried to offer Diddy some comfort by tweeting an apology.

Can you blame Jay Electronica for looking out for his career and going with the label that he felt would do their best to represent him? Or do you feel that Diddy has a right to feel bamboozled after spending a whole year trying to get him to sign with Bad Boy?

And in deadbeat daddy news, Lamar Odom is suing his baby mama over the two kids that he has allegedly ignored over the past few years. Odom wants a judge to make a "parental access schedule" and set "reasonable child support" for his daughter, Destiny, 12, and son, L.J., 9, who both live with their mom, Liza Morales, in Manhattan.

But this all comes as a surprise to Liza, being that Lamar hasn't been a father to his kids in four years, according to her.  Interesting though that he manages to visit New York frequently he rarely seems to find time to see his own children. SMDH!

"Lamar basically checked out as a father four years ago," she told The Post. "They [Destiny and L.J.] haven't had quality time in a long time." When we lost our son, he [Odom] was nowhere to be found," she said. Since then "I always had to be the one to ask him: 'Lamar, do you want the kids?' " "This whole going to the court thing -- people, my neighbors -- I don't want them to think this is the kind of mother I am, that he has to go to court for visitation," Morales said. "It's just really shocking, because Lamar knows the truth."

If all this is true, this fool is planning a life and family with Khloe and hiring entertainment managers, but he can't find time to visit and spend time with his own kids? Hopefully he decides to step up to the plate soon and spends more quality time with them instead of camera whoring for the paps with Khloe!

Janet Jackson Covers "HEALTH" Magazine + Vivica Fox & Her Boo Party It Up

Posted: 14 Nov 2010 08:20 AM PST

Janet Jackson covers the December issue of HEALTH Magazine where she opens up about body-image issues that have followed her since becoming a child actor.  See quotes inside plus pics of Vivica A. Fox and her boo Slimm hosting an event...

Chick is looking sickenly hot on this cover.  Quoatables from the article:

On having her body criticized as a kid:

“When I did Good Times, they used to bind my chest because I was developing breasts at a young age… It immediately makes you think, ‘The way I am isn’t good enough.’ They thought I was too heavy and that I needed to lose weight. When I look back at the show, I was your average-size kid.”

On choosing between acting and singing:

“I have more of a passion for acting than I do singing, because singing comes so much easier to me. Acting is more of a challenge. I always say to people, ‘I’m really in the wrong business because I don’t like being in front of huge crowds, and I don’t like it when a lot of people are
looking at me.’”

On Hollywood’s obsession with weight:

“People tend to put entertainers on pedestals. We’re human beings, just like you… whether we have money or not, we still have bills to pay, we still have our stresses.”

On getting colonics at age 11:

“Once a month my mother would drive us to downtown L.A [for the procedure]. That played a big part in my life and career, because I learned at a very young age what discipline truly meant, to be able to pass up the French fries and the piece of candy.”

Last night, Vivica A. Fox hosted 'Fantastique Fox - Baileys Signature Event' at 13 Restaurant inside the Marriott Hotel in Philadelphia, PA.

She posed outside with her boo Slimm.

Looks like Vivica was feeling whatever the DJ was playing.
