Ne-Yo and Monyetta's baby shower was planned for this past Sunday in Atlanta.  But thanks to the early arrival of their baby girl, Ne-Yo attended the shower with his mom and sister and friends and fam less than2 days after their baby was born.  He opened the presents himself, but brought some of them to Monyetta's hospital where she opened them in the board room where they had her mini baby shower set up.  More pics from the actual shower:

What's REALLY Hood?! Brandy Voted Off "Dancing With The Stars"!

See...this is why I stopped watching "Dancing With The Stars" by the time season 2 rolled around.  Brandy is the latest victim of getting slashed unfairly from "Dancing With The Stars". 

Yet, Bristol "I can't dance if my life depended on it" Palin is still in the mix.

So even though the judges chose Brandy and her partner Maks as their favorite for this week and gave them the highest score, the voters didn't. It was down to Brandy, Kyle Massey, Jennifer Gray, and Bristol Palin.

And even though Bristol's been in the bottom few damn near every week (except for this one), and she's literally only 2 sashays away from being on Kate Gosselin's dancing level, chick found a way to stay on.

Folks are pissy because they say the Tea Party and conservatives are pushing Bristol on their websites and the fact her mom, former VP candidate Sarah Palin, sitting on the side cheering Bristol on is an unfair advantage. So these folks aren't voting on improvements and abilities, they're voting on the fact she's Sarah Palin's daughter.

All I know is, it's painfully obvious Brandy is a FAR better dancer and contestant than Bristol. Yet chick is going home and did not make it to the final 3. Hmmm. Here's the video of last night's elimination:

Solange Knowles hit up the Range Rover Evoque VIP launch party at Cecconi's Restaurant in L.A. last night.  Rocking a silky yellow jumper and a stunning gold necklace and purple velvety shoes, she looked pretty damn fab.

Over in NYC at Chelsea Pier, Jay Electronica, his manager Angela Yee, Rocsi, Toccara, and others partied it up for the monthly Bottles & Strikes event:

Chad OchoCinco Gives Out Another FAT Diamond Ring...To Evelyn Lozada?!

Here we go again.  Chad Ocho Cinco Johnson and Evelyn Lozada are allegedly engaged.   We've got her 10 carat ring she just Twitpic'd...plus  a "Pregnant" pregancy test she also tweeted, when you read on...

The couple have been dating for around 4 months.  After Chad left "Dancing With The Stars" and he stopped courting his partner Cheryl--who he also bought a huge diamond ring for.

And today, "Basketball Wife" Evelyn Lozada, who traveled from Miami to Cincinnati for a visit, tweeted this pic of a beautiful 10 carat ring with the caption:

I'm no rabbit but 10 carats looks good on me!! Let the hating begin ▸▸▸▸▸▸▸ Let's go!!!!! *Wink*

Ummm ok.  Her followers also asked her if all this was just a stunt, seeing that she'll be pubbing for season 2 of her show soon.  She responded that it isn't because "she doesn't need that much attention."  Girl....

She also tweeted a pic of a pregnancy test yesterday that had the results of PREGNANT on there. She said "OMG, I need a major time-out!!"  Don't need attention huh?

Anywho, the two aren't explicity saying they're engaged, or even that Chad bought her the ring, but reports around the net say they are, and he did.  I guess time will tell...

SPLITSVILLE: Tony Parker & Eva Longoria Parker! [UPDATE: NOT DIVORCED Afterall?!]

*UPDATE* Celebuzz claims that Tony and Eva's rep denies any of this is true.  And now TMZ says their original report was not true afterall.  They say 2 clerks from the courthuse told them the papers were indeed filed and sealed.  But now a third clerk says no such thing happened.  Hmmm.

 

After all the joint photoshoots and lovey dovey trips and sideline cheering at basketball games, the Parkers have officially called it quits!  Deets on Tony and Eva Longoria's impending divorce when you read on...

Not gonna lie.  Didn't really see this one coming since Eva Longoria seemed to love being Mrs. Parker more than anything else.  But her basketball playing hubby of 3 years just filed for divorce yesterday.

According to TMZ, the 28-year-old french speaking San Antonio Spur filed the papers in Texas.  While the 35 year old "Desperate Housewives" actress is now stuck with his tattoo'd initials in a "secret spot", as well as his jersey #9 tatted on the back of her neck.

I know one person who won't be rocking her #9 necklace on the Spurs sidelines this NBA season...

Mike Vick Is BACK & Breaking Records! + Trailer For 'Winnie' With Jennifer Hudson and Terrence Howard

Mike Vick had a phenomenal performance in last night's Monday Night Football  matchup against the Redskins. We've got the records he broke, deets on his comeback, plus the trailer for J. Hud and Terrence Howard's new Winnie flick when you read on...

 

 

Who says YBF doesn't look out for the sports lovers?  Michael Vick had a record-breaking game last night against the Washington Redskins. Last night, he became the first quarterback to record more than 300 yards, rush for over 50 yards, have four or more touchdowns and two or more rushing touchdowns.  All that in ONE game. 

Vick also led the Eagles to franchise records in total yards and points in a half, and he and his team pretty much killed the Redskins Monday night.

This was a great performance on the field for Mike, but even better for the quarterback because of his past struggles. Vick was just in prison a little more than a year ago and now he's breaking records on the field. Unlike many other athlete's, Vick hasn't been caught there with a DUI/weapons/drug charge etc. or seen out with groupies drunk at the club since he's been out, ixnayed another season of his BET reality show, and has been completely focused on improving his game.  Kudos to him.

 

 

In movie news...

 

The trailer has just been released for the movie 'Winnie' starring Jennifer Hudson and Terrence Howard. The movie focuses on the relationship between Winnie Madikizela-Mandela and Nelson Mandela. 'Winnie' is also based on the book "Winnie Mandela: A Life".  No word on the release date yet.

No Divorce For Beyonce's Parents?

Matthew and Tina Knowles, the parents of Beyonce and Solange Knowles, have decided to call off their divorce...at least it seems that way.  Deets inside....

 

 

Instead of actually showing up to their divorce trial that was supposed to start yesterday in Houston, both Matthew and Tina were nowhere to be found.  So the judge dismissed the case. 

As reported by TMZ, it is not clear if Tina and Mathew have reconciled or plan to pursue the divorce at a later date.  Neither party's legal team has filed any further court actions.   

Maybe Tina's not as mad as we (or she) thought about that paternity suit by Alexsandra Wright that proved Daddy Knowles fathered her son.  Or maybe the two are hot to trot for each other again.  Mrs. Knowles is lookin' great these days....

 

Drake Is A GQ Man Of The Year+Nelly Performs For Ellen & Pops Off About Not Getting Respect

Nelly made an appearance on "Ellen" yesterday.  While Drake is covering the pages of GQ mag.  We've got Drake's pic, Nelly's performance, plus Nelly's words for the media and those who don't "respect his success" over the years when you read on...

Apparently, Nelly's a little pissy about how the media and the masses have given him and his "durty's" the St. Lunatics the cold shoulder these pass years.

He told press in a recent interview, "It's a weird feeling. For some reason, people want to overlook the things I've accomplished from 1999 to now. We busted our asses, just to have people overlook it and downplay it. After so much success in the beginning, they wait for you to not succeed."

"You can't sit up there and tell us we didn't stand up together for 'Country Grammar.’ We got talent here. Don't denounce the things we accomplished."
