ATL COUPLES UPDATE: Stevie J & Joseline + Lil' Scrappy & Bambi PARTY In The ATL Posted: 11 Sep 2013 09:04 AM PDT Last night, two of Atlanta's most talked about couples (unfortunately), Stevie J & Joseline Hernandez & Lil' Scrappy & Bambi, stepped out to party with the cast of "The New Atlanta".  Pics inside....   Last night, Mona Scott Young's Monami Entertainment/Eastern linked up with Myx Fusions Moscato (which Mona co-owns with Nicki Minaj) to preview Bravo’s “The New Atlanta” and celebrate the ATL launch of the drink company.  So, of course, Mona was joined by some of her "LAHH ATL" all-stars. Since he defended her honor at a gas station a few weeks ago, it looks like Bambi and Lil' Scrappy are hanging in there and making their "love" work.  We're sure Bambi is excited about appearing on television again (since her stint on "BBW LA" is a wrap)  and can't wait for the film crews to start following Lil' Scrappy again.   Joseline and Stevie J were boo'd up on the red carpet.  Since the couple revealed to Hip Hop Weekly that they're married, which we're still side eyeing, we bet they're going for a spinoff show.    Producer Jazze Pha was spotted mingling with the group. DO WE LOVE 'EM: Rihanna Launches Autumn River Island Collection Rocking Blue Lipstick + Rih's Pink & White 'Parental Advisory' Look Posted: 11 Sep 2013 07:41 AM PDT Pop star Rihanna launched her latest fragrance ROGUE at River Island last night and the autumn River Island Collection, but her blue lipstick seemed to get the most attention.  Decide if we love her look inside, and her Parental Advisory needed look today.... Last night, photographers spotted Rihanna after a photocall where she launched her new collection.  And she rocked her own clothes from the line head to toe. Rocking a black and white fur varsity jacket, see-through shirt and skinny metallic jeans from the latest RI collection, her blue lipstick was the most eye-catching feature of her "look".   Held at River Island's flagship store on Oxford Street, the "Phresh Out The Runway" singer tweeted, 'UK Navy, I'm in London today launching the Autumn #RihannaforRiverIsland range.' While speaking about her latest collection in a promotional video for the company, Rihanna said, 'I literally designed everything I want to wear — exactly how I want to wear it.' So...... Not many chicks can rock a mullet and make it look chic.  But can Rih...     And today.......... Diddy Celebrates His Baby Moms Misa Hylton At "Pynk Power Dinner", Talks Making TEENS The Faces Of REVOLT TV Posted: 11 Sep 2013 06:55 AM PDT Last night in NYC, Diddy swept in to help honor his original baby moms, Misa Hylton, at the "Pynk Power Dinner."  Check out pics of Misa and friends celebrating her accomplishments.  Plus, we talked to Diddy about why he WON'T be the face of REVOLT TV.... Mecca Moore's PYNK Magazine continued their "Pynk Power Dinner" series last night.  And they honored stylist Misa Hylton, who rocked a vintage Norma Kamali jumpsuit with Chanel jewelry and Prada shoes, for all that she has done in the industry. Misa's co-parent of son Justin Combs, Diddy, was front and center to join in on the celebration at Philippe Chow on the upper east side. But before the dinner yesterday, TheYBF.com caught up with Diddy to dish about REVOLT TV.  You've seen the videos everywhere, his diddy jet dancing, and Mr. Combs prepping to bring his very own network to cable TV.  But we wanted to know if he was going to pull an Oprah and become the face of his own network.  The answer: Absolutely not. "No, I will not be the face of REVOLT. This is a transition and evolution for me on providing more opportunities." Diddy candidly continued: "I want our on-air personalities to be teenagers, to look like the fans. I want them to know its okay when they make their mistakes because we're going to be making mistakes behind the scenes too. I don't want to promise anyone anything because we're going to be doing a lot of f*cking up. But it's going to be made for great television and it's going to be honest, truthful, fearless, and we're going to get better everyday." And we support it! Diddy clearly has mad love for his now long time friend Misa (who's super sweet) as he and his Bad Boy artist French Montana made an appearance in her honor.  And yes, we're overlooking these stockings. Misa, Diddy and Rocsi Diaz snapped a pic. Kelly Rowland Talks DIVA Simon Cowell On "Ellen" + Angela Bassett & Gabourey Sidibe In "American Horror Story" (PROMO) Posted: 10 Sep 2013 04:31 PM PDT Kelly Rowland made her debut appearance on "ELLEN" today where she cracked jokes about her "X Factor" co-star Simon Cowell.  Watch the interview inside and see the promo for FX's American Horror Story starring Angela Bassett and Gabourey Sidibe. "Kisses Down Low" singer "X Factor" judge Kelly Rowland made her debut appearance on "ELLEN" today where she was shocked by Ellen's revelation that she was an ORIGINAL member of Destiny's Child.  Ha! Kelly added that Ellen was the one who started all the fights.   Kelly joined Simon Cowell on the couch as they promoted the new season of "X Factor" (which premiere tomorrow) and shared a laugh about Simon becoming a "baby daddy."  Also, Kelly said he's a big diva who has more products and knows more makeup tricks than she does. All of Kelly's Rowland Stones can catch her on "X: Factor" premiering Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 11th & 12th at 8/7c on FOX.     Also on television..... FX has released a new promo of their series American Horror Story which focuses on a coven of witches in New Orleans. Starring Jessica Lange, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, and Gabourey Sidibe, the season will span several time periods with Angela and Jessica playing leaders of their separate covens. Gabby plays a young witch being initiated into one of the covens. Angela talked to Collider.com about her role saying,  Well, I play Marie Laveau. It’s been interesting, being in New Orleans, because there’s such a regard and respect for who she was. She lived to about 80 years old, and she was a very influential person in the city. My character is based loosely on her. I read a fictional novel by Tallant, called The Voodoo Queen. I’ve read two books about her, one that’s more historical and one that’s her life, but put into novel form. It’s just very interesting. We’ve been filming in the French Quarter. But, I don’t know exactly where it’s going, so I’m remaining open and just picking up little things. Her father was French Creole, and he gave her gold earrings. Spain occupied Louisiana longer than the French did. I’m also talking to folks from there and just getting a take on how they see her or what they feel about her, to get a sense of who she was and her power in the 1800s, as this black Creole woman. American Horror Story: Coven is set to premiere Oct. 9.

Janelle Monae's "Electric Lady" Release Party With Erykah Badu, Miguel, Diddy, Big Boi & More+ "Dance Apocalyptic” Performance On "Letterman" Posted: 10 Sep 2013 02:33 PM PDT Last night, Janelle Monae took over New York City's Pier 84 to celebrate the release of Electric Lady with Diddy, Miguel, La La Anthony, B.o.B., Melanie Fiona, Esperanza Spalding, Erykah Badu and more. See pics from the party and performance inside and watch Janelle rock out with “Dance Apocalyptic” on "The Late Show with David Letterman." Janelle Monae's Electric Lady disc arrived in stores today and she celebrated the release with a star-studded release party and performance last night. Sponsored by Target, CoverGirl and Sonos, the party kicked off earlier in the day with the launch of Electric Pirate Radio, a limited-time radio station broadcast from a ship off the waters off the Hudson River (clever tie-in to Janelle running "Android" web series). Janelle posed with a group of "Covergirl" servers. Bad Boy President, Diddy, was there to cheer on the member of his roster during her performance. Diddy posed with Miguel, who appears on Janelle's song "PrimeTime". Melanie Fiona chilled out with Miguel and Janelle and offered up her support. Rapper Big Boi also appeared on stage to support Janelle.   LaLa Anthony looked freakin' amazing. She appeared on stage to announce Janelle's performance rocking sexy black bandage boots and a black pocketed mini dress. So was record exec Kevin Liles. "Airplanes" rapper B.o.B. posed for the cameras. VH1 personality Janelle Snowden celebrated the album release. Shade 45 host and MTV personality Sway was there.    Janelle moved the crowd with songs from the new disc which features collaborations with Erykah, Solange, Prince, Miguel, Esperanza.      And on late night television..... Earlier in the evening, Janelle taped a performance for “Dance Apocalyptic” on "The Late Show with David Letterman". Keri Hilson Says Her New Glow Is Due To Finding The Lord...& Serge Ibaka, Talks Beyonce "Apology" Song Posted: 10 Sep 2013 12:35 PM PDT Riddick star Keri Hilson is opening up about rededicating her life to Christ and finding true love with Serge Ibaka.  See what Keri said about her transformation inside and find out if she really wrote an "apology" song to Beyonce.... Keri Hilson, who's starring in Riddick with Vin Diesel, talked to Global Grind recently about the new direction her life has taken since find Christ and how she's found true love with NBA baller Serge Ibaka.  Also, she reveals that fans can expect new music from her in the future. While discussing the new music she's working on in VA with Timbaland, she dished on an apology song she's written called "I'm Sorry", which she swears IS NOT about Beyonce (although the song's producer, Timbaland, disagrees).  Here are the highlights: Timbaland also referenced a song called “I’m Sorry,” where you supposedly apologize to Beyonce. Can you tell me more about that song? There’s really nothing more to tell about that song. There’s really nothing to be said about it. What I will say, is the way Tim represented my verse is a little off. It’s not something I want to talk about right now. It’s not important to me. I’m not even sure if that song will be on the album. It’s not what he made it seem, I will say that. So when you saw his comment – because when he said that, it was all over the blogs – did you call him up to be like, “Yo…” or did you just write it off? I did. I called him up. We have that kind of relationship where we can speak to each other very candidly and very directly. A lot of our conversations are so deep, so I could really go there with him and let him know how I really feel.   And about her love, NBA baller Serge Ibaka: Going back to your Instagram, you look really happy. What’s different about Keri now versus Keri three years ago? Thank you, first of all. Second of all, I hear that I’m glowing. That’s the word that I hear most often, for the past six months of my life, that I’m glowing. I don’t know what’s changed. I’ve been in a relationship for a year, I rededicated my life to Christ in April 2012, I came out of a really dark depression. I am happy and I’m glad people can see when you are genuinely happy. For years I was smiling for pictures and I’m doing the same, but I think people can tell the difference. That’s just been a testament to the fact that people can really see your aura. Did you reconnect with the Lord first, or with love first?                              The lord. I actually met him (Serge Ibaka) maybe six months after I rededicated my life to Christ. When you met your current boyfriend did you feel like, “this is a gift from God?” Absolutely. And I also felt like God is a comedian, for real. He gave me everything I wanted and everything I thought I didn’t want. You know? He’s like, ‘Ha! You’ve got to trust me. Stop putting limits on who I am and what I do.’ I absolutely had limits – I had parameters. I had a huge blockage on the types of guys I would date and just when I was – I had tweeted something, ‘I guess it’s time for me to adjust the parameters of dating,’ or something like that, and it was months before meeting him actually, but it was just saying that sometimes you have to trust God and stop putting rules and limits and parameters on things. Tamar Braxton Reveals Brand New Cute Family Photo + The Beef Continues With K.Michelle Posted: 10 Sep 2013 12:11 PM PDT EBONY's new cover girl Tamar Braxton just showed off her brand new family photo in the issue.  Check it out inside, plus the latest installment in her beef with K.Michelle....   How cute are Tamar and her little boy Logan and her hubby Vince have a brand new family photo for EBONY magazine.  And it's super cute.  Tamar's covering the September 2013 issue and she gave her fans a sneak peek to the new pic on her IG. And yesterday, "Ike & Tina" (as they call themselves) hit up The Breakfast Club.  But what she said about K.Michelle trying to kiss and makeup via buying her album...caused more beef on the plate. I really don't talk about the people who bully me and stuff.  If you do one good gesture does that make up for you calling me a muppet?  Does that make up for you telling everybody I lipsync?  I don't want to talk about her. In my third day I sold over 100,000 copies so we're not even in the same conversation. Arsenio Hall Returns To Late Night With Chris Tucker & Snoop! + Robin Thicke Gets OK From Paula To Pose With 5 Nude Women On "TREATS!" Posted: 10 Sep 2013 11:22 AM PDT Last night, Arsenio Hall returned to late night television with Snoop Lion, Paula Abdul and Chris Tucker as guests.  Find out who came through inside and see Robin Thicke on the cover of TREATS! Magazine.   Last night, the dog pound was in full effect as Arsenio Hall made a triumphant return to the late-night talk show circuit after a 19-year absence!  He joked, "Leave it to the first black late night host to take 19 years off. And only a black man would think the job would be there when he returned." The premiere episode of "The Arsenio Hall Show" was jam-packed with star-studded appearances from Jay Leno (who played Arsenio's therapist in the opening segment), Snoop Lion (who performed What's My Name") Paula Abdul (who co-starred with Arsenio in the "Straight Up" video) and funny man Chris Tucker. During his interview, Chris revealed that he would be interested in doing another Friday movie if the script is good.  He says he doesn't want to ruin a classic and it's not about the money.  Yassss!    Rapper Nas will appear on the show tomorrow night.     And on magazine racks..... On the cover of the latest edition of TREATS! Magazine, "Give It 2 U" singer Robin Thicke posed with five nude models....at the suggestion of his wife Paula Patton!  He told the mag, 'It was very sexy and I like that. At first I thought, ''Okay, let’s just do topless'' ...but, again, my wife and her friends were like, ''No way…go all the way.'' I think we definitely pushed the envelope. Inside the article, Robin also revealed that Paula suggested the racy theme for the "Blurred Lines" video (based on her hubby's love the "TREATS!"). 'When I was talking to my wife (Paula Patton) and her friends about the video they said, ''Do something like Treats! because you love it so much.''' Also, one of the "Blurred Lines" models, Emily Ratajkowski, was plucked right from that cover. Now that we know Paula is VERY comfortable with scantily clad women fawning over her husband, folks can relax about the "Instagram groupie" and Miley's twerking.  Paula is not bothered..... While we're excited about this sit-down, we remember how X was unable to "fix his life" with Iyanla Vanzant. It will be interesting to watch these two headstrong men battle it out on TV.   And in new music videos....     Sean Kingston has released a video for his "Seasonal Love" clip featuring Wale.  Famed stripper Maliah Michel (his rumored real-life love interest at one point) stars alongside Sean in the Benny Boom-directed clip.  The track appears on his new disc Back 2 Life which also features "Shotta Luv" featuring 2 Chainz.  The newly-released disc also features appearances from Wiz Khalifa, Chris Brown, T.I., Yo Gotti, and Busta Rhymes.   And in case you were wondering what happened to Sean's "rape" case, he quietly settled out-of-court BEFORE his record dropped.     Photos via FameFlynet
