GOSSIP BITS: Did Erykah Badu's Baby Daddy Jay Electronica BREAK UP The Marriage Of Heiress Kate Goldsmith?

Don't worry about where Erykah Badu's baby daddy Jay Electronica's next meal is coming from. Word has it that he has landed a rich heiress and is allegedly the cause of her divorce! Deets inside....

Popular indie-rapper Jay Electronica (aka one of Erykah Badu's three rapper baby daddies) is caught up in the international gossip mill as the rumored cause of the pending divorce of uber-rich heiress Kate Goldsmith and her husband Jimmy.

Kate, an heir to the Rothschild banking dynasty, was allegedly confronted by her husband recently after he found intimate texts between she and Jay.  A source close to the couple said, 

‘Ben is heartbroken, devastated and thoroughly miserable,’ a friend of the couple said. ‘He suspected Kate was cheating on him because she has been behaving increasingly erratically for some time.

‘She is obsessed with this chap called Jay Electronica who is one of her clients. She is always on the phone to him and out with him until four or five in the morning most nights. Sometimes she even stays with him.

‘Ben was paranoid about their friendship months ago, but when he confronted her about an affair earlier this year she denied it.
‘Then last week he found a series of texts and email messages. They were very intense messages planning sexual liaisons."

Jimmy recently spoke out saying, ‘I’m pretty shell-shocked by everything. All I am thinking about now is my children.’

Jay, who last tweeted a photo of Kate on May 21 saying, "@KateRoundtable, at the Watch The Helicopter tour," has not spoken out about the alleged affair. 

But if his tweets are any indication, something may be going on as he said recently, #LoveIsOnTheWay.

Damn homie.  Guess that confirms whether he and Erykah are still together.

Jay-Z & Beyonce OUT AND ABOUT In Paris With Baby Blue!

Papa Jay-Z and Mama Beyonce were spotted hopping out of their car in Paris with Baby Blue Ivy in tow.  The twosome are still in the City of Lights as Jay takes quick trips to surrounding cities and Belgium for his Watch The Throne tour stops.

The Jenny Craig spokeswoman is a walking billboard for the company as she showed off what hard work and dedication lead to...even after 3 kids.  She spent the day hugged up with Stephen as they got extra lovey-dovey.

The duo went on a yacht ride near the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

NO BEEFS HERE: Nicki Minaj PARTIES IT UP With Foxy Brown After Summer Jam Cancellation...Rosenberg Speaks On Diss

Rappers Nicki Minaj and Foxy Brown were spotted partying together in NYC at her own private "afterparty".  Check out the pics inside and what Rosenberg had to say about his "diss"....

Nicki Minaj may have cancelled her headlining performance at Summer Jam 2012 last night after Rosenberg's diss, but it didn't stop her from partying in NYC with folks like Foxy Brown and Cam'Ron.  As we reported earlier, Foxy was going to be one of Nicki's special guests she brought out during her set.
 

Though Lil' Kim thinks Nicki has an issue with other femcees....the new Barb seems cool with Foxy.  Kim popped off on Twitter saying don't believe the hype as this is just another example of Nicki playing mokey see monkey do to compete with Kim.  Since Kimmy brought out several female rappers at her shows recently. 

Nicki tweeted,

Foxy cam'ron beenie and spragga benz in here gettin bent w/us. We 200 deep. Dancehall on blast!!!!

Nicki also partied with Beenie Man.

 

And about that Young Money Summer Jam drama, there is now video of Hot 97 Morning Show host Peter Rosenberg dissing Nicki (which lead to the cancellation).  He disses her "Starships" song and says it's not real Hip Hop.

 

In response, Nicki tweeted, 

Wow. U niggaz just fucked up history. But the President has spoken. #YMCMB," and "I go above and beyond for my fans. But won't ever go against Wayne's word. What he says, goes."
 

And Rosenberg held his ground today tweeting:

Rihanna POPS OFF On ESQUIRE Reporter Over Chris Brown Questions

Rihanna, who was spotted (above) hitting up her fave eatery Giorgio Baldi last night in her Jeremy Scott for Adidas tee and leopard sneakers, got extra fresh with the reporter during her ESQUIRE UK interview that delved semi-deep into the Chris Brown "incident."  Find out what Rihanna said about working with her ex and why she POPPED OFF at the reporter when he asked her why she did it...

We told you earlier about Rihanna's hot ESQUIRE UK cover and spread, but we had no idea how hot and heated the interview was.  Rihanna was questioned about her working relationship with Chris Brown and the message it sent to fans around the world.

The "Birthday Cake" singer (shown above in a large t shirt and animal print shoes at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica) expressed that she was tired of discussing Chris and wished society and journalists would let the incident go so everyone can move on.  She added that there is nothing wrong with her working with Chris and it DID NOT signal that they were back in a relationship.

Then, a seemingly annoyed RiRi turned the tables on the magazine, calling them "trivial," and asked why they don't ask questions fans really want to know?

She also threw MAJOR shade at the end and let the mag know she did four other interviews.....and they probably better questions.

Esquire: What has been the Twitter response to the Chris Brown remixes?
Rihanna: Some love it, some hate it, some love it but hate that we did it. But the response in the end has been incredible.
Esquire: Was that [the recording session] the first time you’d seen him in a while?
Rihanna: When would we have seen each other? We’ve both been working and touring. [changes the subject]. This is really good food.
Esquire: It proved quite a controversial thing.
Rihanna: Well…definitely. Definitely. It caught me a little off-guard to be honest…especially the amount of…negative attention. Because it never occurred to me how this was a problem, you know. It really didn’t.
Esquire: Because enough time had passed that it was OK?

Rihanna: I thought people were gonna be surprised that we finally did a record together, but I didn’t see how people could think it was a bad thing, you know? In my mind, it was just music.
Esquire: Some people felt it sent the wrong message.
Rihanna: [Angrily] What was that? What message would that be?
Esquire: You’d gone back to someone who put you in the hospital.
Rihanna: [Getting angry] Oh really? Did I?
Esquire: Well… yes.
Rihanna: Did I? Did I? Did I?

Esquire: You went and recorded with him, yes.
Rihanna: Okay. In a completely professional environment. And on a complete professional note. I mean, if I went back to him [as a girlfriend], then that’s a whole different discussion. And if I ever do, then that’s something that y’all have to talk to me about when – if – that ever happens. Until then, look at it for what it is. I think a lot of people jumped to an assumption that was incorrect and they ended up looking stupid.
Esquire: The assumption you were dating again?
Rihanna: Because of a song. How stupid. If I was together with every collaborator I worked with… f-ck my life.
Esquire: Still, the lyrics didn’t do much to dispel that impression. His opening line is “Girl I want to fuck you right now/been a long time/I’ve been missing your body”. You reply: “Remember how you did it/If you still want to kiss it/Then come and get it”.
Rihanna: That was the tone before he was even on the record. You think it was going to be about hopscotch or jump rope?

Esquire: So neither of you for a minute thought “This is going to put the cat among the pigeons”?
Rihanna: I could never see anything wrong with making music.
Esquire: Maybe the thing is that as an artist your personal and private life are intertwined, and you’ve already played on this. The first song you put out after the beating incident was “Love the Way You Lie”, about domestic violence.
Rihanna: Absolutely. But Love The Way You Live was me as an artist working with Eminem as an artist, telling our stories individually. On a track together. I’m lost. I’m confused as to what you’re trying to get at.
Esquire: That it’s hard to separate the person who’s been the victim of domestic violence and the pop star singing about domestic violence.
Rihanna: I know. And that’s how f-cked up society is. There’s a lot of sh-t y’all can’t get over. Y’all holding your breath on a lot of stuff that doesn’t matter. When you realize who you live for, and who’s important to please, a lot of people will actually start living. I am never going to get caught up in that. I’m gonna look back on my life and say that I enjoyed it – and I lived it for me- and God. This is turning into a tacky interview. What do you really want to talk about? I’m not here to [talk] about messy sh-t.

Esquire: It’s just what’s been making the headlines recently.
Rihanna: OK! So do you want to talk about everything on Google? Or do you want to talk about stuff that my fans want to know? Let’s get to the real stuff. The stuff that’s important.
Esquire: What do your fans want to know?
Rihanna: You tell me, as a journalist. You’re asking the questions and I give you the answers. I can’t give the questions too.
Esquire: I’m sorry it’s upset you.
Rihanna: It hasn’t upset me. It upsets me that you keep asking the same kind of questions about stuff that’s trivial. What’s there to talk about? Are all your questions like that? Let’s move onto the next one.
Esquire: It’s just that you haven’t given an interview for a while. A lot has happened.
Rihanna: You think I haven’t given an interview for a while? I did four this morning.
Esquire: Did they go any better than this?
Rihanna: We’ll see [when they come out] tomorrow

During a recent chat with VIBE, Evelyn Lozada praised Rihanna as an artist and said people put too much pressure on her to be a role model.  Check it out....

Now, Rihanna is one of your good friends, but from a role model standpoint, how do you view her influence to younger people?

EVELYN:  We became cool on Twitter [laughs], and she’s cool! She lives her life and does what the fawk she wants and I love that about her. It’s tough because all of a sudden your supposed to be perfect and a role model to everyone and not live your life and I think she does what she needs to do, she’s young and having fun. Growing up I didn’t necessarily say oh my god look at Madonna I want to be just like her, I just loved her music. I feel like people put so much pressure on these celebrities and it’s like I think parents should be role models and if you don’t want your kids watching these things then don’t. Like my daughter is almost 19 and she will tell you that growing up she had parental control for the TV, because of HBO etc. In my eyes, Rihanna can do no wrong, I think she’s an amazing artist. She’s gorgeous, handles her business, and lives her life with no apologies.

Does she come to you about… let’s say, the drama that’s been happening with Meek Mill, Drake and Chris Brown?  

EVELYN:  We don’t discuss personal things like that. It’s just, if I happen to be in her city or she’s in mine, we’ll hang out.

Kobe & Vanessa Bryant Spend Some QT With The Kids At Disneyland

Now that Kobe Bryant's got some free time on his hands, he took his family to Disneyland in California over the weekend for some fun.  His estranged wife Vanessa--even though the twosome seem to be getting closer after their separation--and kids Natalia and Gianna were spotted dashing around the park.

Rocking a hot Balmain mini dress that she seemingly had to be extra careful about showing her goodies with, Ciara threw on her nude heels to flaunt her best assets on tonight's red carpet.  The 2012 MTV Movie Awards went down at the Gibson Amphitheater in Los Angeles.  And the few YBF folks there made sure to keep it fresh:

*UPDATE* Lil Wayne CANCELS Nicki Minaj's Summer Jam HEADLINING Performance, Tells ALL Young Money DON'T GO After Hot 97 Host's Diss!

Hot 97 just royally f'd up. Just one hour away from hitting up tonight's Hot 97 Summer Jam stage, Lil Wayne CANCELLED Nicki Minaj's headlining performance!  Why? Because the station's host Peter Rosenberg said a disrespectful diss about her "Starships" track just minutes ago.  DRAMA...

Peter Rosenberg (pictured below), Hot 97's often controversial host and MTV's "Hip Hop Squares" host (who calls himself the Jewish Johnny Carson) just messed with the wrong ones. 

Tonight live from the 2012 Summer Jam stage, Peter said about headliner Nicki that she better not perform that "wack ass Starships" track.  And said "We about that real hip-hop, not ‘Starships.’”  It's one thing to have your personal opinion...but dissing your headlining artist who most of the big crowd is there to see anyway?  That's a No No.

Needless to say, Lil Wayne didn't take kindly to that ish.  He, along with al of the Young Money crew--Tyga (who performed earlier), DJ Khaled, Baby, etc.--literally just landed their private G5 jet at Teterboro in Jersey when he heard the diss.  And we're told from a member of Nicki's camp that Wayne instructed ALL of the Young Money artists to NOT go on stage. 

Wayne confirmed minutes ago tweeting: “Young Money ain't doing summer jam.”

Nicki, who was excited about making history as Summer Jam's headliner tonight, quickly changed her mood tweeting:

Wow. U niggaz just fucked up history. But the President has spoken. #YMCMB

I go above and beyond for my fans. But won't ever go against wayne's word. What he says, goes.

YM artist Jae Millz tweeted his pissiness saying: "Radio personality with NO personality... f--- n---a!!! & u ain't even black..."

And Nicki to responded, "Not blak but on blak radio dissin blak women."

Nicki's extra pissed because she had a crazy lineup coming out during her set.  Her camp confirmed to The YBF that Drake, Tyga, Beenie Man, 2 Chainz, and tons more were all slated to hit the stage with her.  

We also confirmed that the Head Barb was surprising the audience by bringing out Foxy Brown during her set!  Oh wells. 

We're told the only way Weezy will change his mind is if Rosenberg apologizes.  And Nicki's camp tells us (as of 8p EST) they are still at the hotel--which is 1 hour away from Festival Village where Summer Jam is going down.  Nicki was scheduled to go on at 9p. Until then....

*UPDATE* Nas & Lauryn Hill were set to be part of Nicki Minaj's surprise guest lineup.  And since Nicki pulled out at the command of Lil Wayne, Nas & Lauryn performed "If I Ruled The World" anyway:

ENGAGED IN PARIS! Amar'e Stoudemire Pops The Question To Alexis Welch...With A MILLION DOLLAR RING!

And another baller drops a ring!  NY Knicks captain Amar'e Stoudemire spent his weekend in Paris taking in the Watch The Throne concert....and getting ENGAGED!  He popped the question to the mother of his three kids, Alexis Welch, with a million dollar ring.

He may be out of the running for an NBA championship ring this season, but Amare's finally made it official with another type of ring.  The 29-year-old Knicks baller proposed to his girlfriend of 10 years (minus those several months he was doing God knows what with Ciara) with a FAT rock and uber romantic proposal.

People.com reports Amar'e whipped out the 8.5-carat radiant-cut diamond ring, worth $1 million, in their penthouse suite at Le Meurice Hotel.  Overlooking the Eiffel Towel of course.  The setting has 3.50 carats of flawless diamonds set in 18-carat white gold.  And he surprised her with the proposal after spending the day taking in a private tour of the city and a romantic dinner.

"I have been planning my proposal for a while and overlooking the entire Paris skyline seemed like a perfect place. I am so happy she said 'yes,' and now we can continue to build our life together as husband and wife," Stoudemire told PEOPLE from Paris.

Amar'e gushed about his romantic night tweeting:

Paris, the food, & lights were very romantic. When she said yes, it was surreal. I’m still floating. #engaged #blessed

Awww.

The twosome, who are pictured above in France, are planning a 2013 wedding.  Congrats!

PICS: Lauryn Hill Brings Her Kiddies On Stage To SING With Her At Highline Ballroom

Lauryn Hill performed at the Highline Ballroom in New York City this weekend.  And she surprised the intimate crowd by bringing five of her six children on stage to sing and rap with her.  Check the pics, plus what happened when one of her sons forgot the lyrics, inside...

With the youngest baby not taking the stage yet, of course, Lauryn gave each of her older 5 chil'ren the chance to take the mic at her concert last night. The one moment that got a bit serious is when her son 'Little John' forgot some of his lyrics and then started to cry. Lauryn tried to get him to feel better and take the mic back, but he couldn't seem to get over it and she was seen moments later bending down to help him feel better as the backup singers continued.

Awww.

L Boogie shared the adorable moment with the crowd.  And her model teen daughter, Selah, did a fab job of singing.  She gets it from her parents.

Looks like Chris at least tries to maintain good relations with his ex-girls as he and Karrueche were recently spotted partying at Toxic in LA and  on another night with his ex-chick "Basketball Wives: LA" star Draya Michele.  Quite interesting.......

 

In other Chris news........

The singer was attacked by Brian McKnight on Twitter recently.  The "Anal" singer went after Chris and Floyd Mayweather Jr. for domestic abuse (um.....pot meet kettle), and R. Kelly for "underage" sex after he received criticism about his new direction. 

 

Not one to let a snarky comment go unchecked, Chris responded,

 

Sigh.............when will Chris' PR team change his account so he has to get approval of his tweets?  But in his defense, Brian did start it and he was just instigating some beef.
