| EVENT PICS: Celebs Gear Up For "Real Husbands Of Hollywood" & "Second Generation Wayans" Premieres Posted: 09 Jan 2013 09:28 AM PST As BET sets up to debut two of its newest scripted series, "Real Husbands of Hollywood" and "Second Generation Wayans," the celebs were out for the Hollywood premiere event last night. Peep pics of Kevin Hart, Tatyana Ali, Duane Martin & Tisha Campbell and plenty more inside... Kevin Hart is off to a huge start in 2013. The comedian's new (semi) scripted BET show "Real Husbands of Hollywood" kicks off January 15. And he was front and center with his cast members and BET fam for the premiere event at Regal Cinemas L.A. Live "Happy Endings" star Damon Wayans Jr., "Second Generation Wayans" star Damien Dante Wayans, their dad/uncle Keenen Ivory Wayans and Chris Spencer all posed it up with the writer/star of the series. Kevin had his girlfriend Eniko on his arm looking fab. Co-star Duane Martin made out with his wife, Tisha Campbell Martin, on the carpet. Trying to prove there's no problem on their homefront like rumors have been saying? Co-star Boris Kodjoe was on the carpet to support the project. And Robin Thicke and JB Smoove will also star on the show that Kevin calls "The fakest reality show ever." Hilarity will ensue...
Also celebrating their upcoming premiere was the cast of "Second Generation Wayans." Celeste Sullivan, George O. Gore, Damien Dante Wayans and Craig Wayans all posed it up with the fabulous Tatyana Ali. She's looking fresh faced and gorgeous these days. Love seeing one of Hollywood's funniest fams still in the mix. LA Clippers baller Chris Paul was there to support the shows, with his wife Jada. Are we feeling her cheetah shortset and red pumps?
Celeb trainer Jeanette Jenkins made an appearance.

Check out her new ARISE magazine cover, plus her colorful look at Tuesday night's Berlin movie premiere inside... The bi-monthly UK glossy ARISE kicked off its 2013 season with YBF chick Kerry Washington giving face on the cover of their 18th issue. The gorgeous IT gal is all about her craft, and she talks in the mag about how she nailed her Ugandan accent in Last King of Scotland and how she felt about being the only African American female lead role on network tv last season:

After playing around with her movie husband/co-star Jamie Foxx on the carpet at the Cinestar Potsdamer Platz, she showed off her eye popping colorful look. She rocked an orange printed gown by J Mendel paired Louboutin shoes and a Jill Milan clutch.
Can't say we're loving her hair this time around, but she's brightening up this cold winter with spring-ready freshness nonetheless.

Check out the sexy lacy look she rocked at FOX's All Star party last night, plus details about Fantasia's new album, and Beyonce returning to the Presidential Inauguration.... The newest "American Idol" judge tossed her cotton candy rainbow wigs and outfits to get a bit more grown up for her new role. Nicki Minaj hit up the Fox TCA Winter All Star party at The Langham Huntington Hotel and Spa in Pasadena last night. And we must say, we're digging the simple black wig with chic bangs and curls. And this sexy semi-backless lace dress for the occasion:
While the ASSets are still on 110 while she walks away in her Zoulou Louboutin sandals, the 30-year-old looks pretty nice. We like demure Nicki.
In other music news, Fantasia not only posted a few new pics from her "Lose To Win" video shoot to her Instagram, but she revealed some details about her upcoming 4th studio album. The title will be The Side Effects of You, and it will showcase her rock-soul style she's been speaking about lately. Fanny told the Tom Joyner Morning Show about writing for her new album:
Her lead single, "Lose To Win," was not originally slated for her album, but she says she put it on there anyway because it just fit for her.
The albmu is due out this March.
And finally, Beyonce will be back in D.C. for the Presidential Inauguration festivities this year. The Baddie chick has been tapped for one of the biggest honors--she will belt out the National Anthem for President Barack Obama's Inauguration ceremony on January 21. And she will be front and center at the West Front of the U.S. Capitol. It's no secret that the Knowles-Carters are friends of the Obamas. And after the R&B diva sang "AT Last" for the Presidential couple at their first Inauguration, they decided to ask her back for the official ceremony. Kelly Clarkson will be singing "My Country Tis Of Thee" (which Aretha Franklin rocked last Inauguration), while James Taylor will sing "America The Beautiful." Nice!
The Randomness: 1. Katt Williams was arrested again last night in L.A. after being issued a bench warrant for not showing up to court. Katt was released and said it was only because he had another court date at same time, and could only attend one. STORY

But Melo maintains Kevin crossed a line. Deets inside.... As we previously reported, rumors swirled that during Monday's heated game, Celtics baller Kevin Garnett told Knicks baller Carmelo a comment about his wife, LaLa, tasting like Honey Nut Cheerios. Those specific words have yet to be confirmed, but Melo did tell reporters at practice on Tuesday that Kevin crossed a line:
Sounds like the Cheerios statement may not be too far off. Carmelo, who skipped out on giving a post-game interview on Monday night because he was rushing to approach Kevin by his bus outside MSG, told reporters the two have worked it out...somewhat.

Deets inside, plus her interview where she tells all about her, Chris Brown & Rih's love triangle.... With all the sometimes immature back and forth amongst Chris Brown, Rihanna and Karrueche Tran, it's about time we heard things straight from the source's mouth. At least from one of them. And we get the real deal without the passive aggressive general twitter attacks. But first, we've learned that while both Rihanna and Karrueche were spotted leaving the club My Studio in L.A. Sunday night, it was all for a reason. Karrueche hit up My Studio as one of her first stops of the night. No more than half an hour before she got word that Rihanna was also in attendance, she decided to jet. She then called up her good friends Christina Milian and Seiko Huffman for a girls night out at Greystone Manor (pictured above at the party). The trio drank it up as T.I., Tiny, and Kenyon Martin were all there too celebrating JL Nights and Team Hennessy's first Greystone Sundays of the year. She tweeted “what a night” the following day. Of course.

See the pics inside.... Jada kept it cute and casual as the mom of two rocked her new Isabel Marant Bekket Baley star wedged sneakers with jeans and a blazer. And she and her hubby bowled it up for a good cause once again with their celebrity friends yesterday: Baller Chris Paul knocked down a few bowling pins last night at his 5TH Annual Chris Paul PBA All-Stars Invitational benefiting his CP3 Foundation. Chris’ CP3 Foundation, founded in 2005, strives to impact under-served communities by providing funding for activities ranging from scholarship programs to food drives for children. Former NFL star Terrell Owens joined Kevin Hart on the red carpet before they hit the pins. The "Real Husbands of Hollywood" star showed some hilarious form on the floor. Retired NBA superstar Jalen Rose (who's now a sports commentator) didn't mind suiting up for Chris and his cause. Chris' LA Clippers teammate Blake Griffin supported the foundation. We know Blake can dunk on pretty much anybody...and it looks like he can bowl too. "Grey’s Anatomy" star Jesse Williams donated his time and effort to the cause as well. Fans will have to tune in to the braodcast to see who won. The all-star tournament will air on ESPN on Super Bowl Sunday (Feb. 3) at 4 p.m. Eastern, just prior to the Super Bowl telecast.

Shes singing from a seemingly darker place than her "Whip My Hair" track where she claims to be drowning from all of the screaming, criticisms, and whatever else sends a a per-pubescent girl into a tizzy. She may be the daughter of Hollywood Royalty who seems to lead a charmed life spending her days making music, shopping and chillin' with friends instead of slaving over her long division in school. So many dark moments—which all added up and that’s what sprung on the drug addiction, trying to numb it all with the drugs. The depression. The lack of love for myself. The lack of people loving you around you. The abandonment issues. Daddy not being there all the time. Mommy not knowing how to handle it all. Although she loves you, she abandons you at some point too. I’m not saying that to be down on my mom. She was just a cursed woman as well. There have been so many other dark moments that I can’t even talk about. I have given the world so much and even in the middle of all that stuff there has been so much shit going on. It was all those tributaries that gave me such deep soul. But it is those same things that now have taught me how to be strong. In the past those were the same things that were killing me. But I made it out. I made it out. On the legacy she took from her new Lifetime movie Betty & Coretta You have to move forward. If Betty had not moved forward, Malcolm X would have died and that would have been it. I didn’t even realize that she and Coretta had been friends. | Mike & Kijafa Vick COUPLED UP At Team Vick Foundation Charity Cocktail Party Posted: 08 Jan 2013 01:08 PM PST Philadelphia Eagles star QB (for now) Michael Vick and his wife Kijafa stepped out looking fab for a cocktail fundraiser for their Team Vick Foundation. See the coupled up photos inside... Last night, Michael and Kijafa Vick, in her black Christian Louboutin pigalle studded pumps, hosted a cocktail party for their Team Vick Foundation at Tashan restaurant in Philadelphia, PA. The party had a "777" theme as the restaurant was at 777 South Broad Street, took place on the 7th of the month and the party started at 7 p.m. Well aren't they clever... While Michael kept it casually dapper in a sportcoat and jeans. Kijafa, who owns an accessories store called PNK Elephant in Philly, bejeweled her wrists and ears to compliment her yellow and black printed dress. In addition to Tashan's signature dishes, guests dined on Michael's favorite chicken and shrimp kabobs at the $75 ticket event which raised money for the youth sports and academic programs that Team Vick sponsors throughout the year. It's great to see the happy couple finding time to give back to the next generation. And we're loving your fresh hair cut Mrs. Vick...

So when she popped up at the Knicks vs. Celtics game last night, it was just in time to calm Carmelo down...because he and Kevin Garnett were on the verge of duking it out!
Deets inside.... So the Celtics vs. Knicks game last night at Madison Square Garden was all kinds of foolery. Fightin' words allegedly were said, and Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Garnett got hit with double technical thanks to all their sh*t talking to each other. During the game, the two were a split second away from duking it out on the court. And we all know neither of them are strangers to stomping somebody down on the court. The close game led to some heated exchanges between the two that their teammates and refs constantly tried to break up. At one point you could see Garnett tell 'Melo "F*ck you" and Melo calling Kevin a "p*ssy". And it didn't stop there. Melo decided to take that ish outside and literally waited for Kevin outside the Celtics bus! Dude had on his Timbs and skully and all....dude was READY. His coach and other folks had to try to calm him down before the Celtics walked out there. Peep the vid below:
Now, word has it (the unconfirmed Twitter gods say) that Kevin said some extreme fightin' words to Carmelo while they were on the court. Supposedly he told the Knicks baller, "Your wife tastes like Honey Nut Cheerios." LaLa was at the game, sitting courtside, in a Virgos Lounge blazer, with her girl Loren Ridinger (pictured above). Now....who knows what home girl actually tastes like. Or if this was actually said. But y'all know what words like that mean when a man tells another man what HIS wife tastes like. Kev ain't even right for (allegedly) alluding to smashing LaLa. Some attacks are just off limits. But maybe that's what had Melo waiting by his bus. Feels like high school all over again. But we're waiting on the confirmation about that Cheerios statement with our thumbs twiddling. Because we already know what's coming next if that ish was really said....  |

"LAHH ATL" star Mimi Faust is back in the headlines and responding to reports that she's lost custody of her daughter to Stevie J. Find out what she said inside and see her reveal her new man Nikko (she clearly has a type). Plus, Mariah Carey appeared on "Nightline" and dishes on Nicki Minaj and her family. Though VH1 viewers are now hooked to the antics of the new cast members of "LAHH 3," Mimi Faust, who was one of the most popular stars of "L&HH ATL" is still grabbing headlines...but not very happy reasons. Mimi also dropped by V103 in Atlanta to talk to Egypt where the subject of Stevie J and custody came up. Mimi (who brought her new man Nikko to the studio). Mimi said dropped Eva off to see her grandfather (Stevie's dad) one Saturday and Stevie felt some kind of way because Mimi didn't come inside to say hello. In her defense, she said she had no reason to go inside. After that, she said Stevie texted her later that day and said he was taking her to "Supreme Court" (*teehee*) so he could get custody. Mimi says she texted him back saying, "On Saturday"? While speaking about where they stand, she said, "There is no relationship there. I try to co-parent. I’m not sure what he’s doing or trying to do. Obviously you see what he’s trying to do: messy, drama, lying still. Constant. It never stops." Mimi also denied being a drug user and said she would be willing to take a test. She then spoke about Nikko saying he will be on the next season of "L&HH ATL" and he's a producer she met years ago. He moved to ATL to be with Mimi and is working on a project in the area. Meanwhile, he said Mimi is "the one". He looks and sounds like someone else we know..... Pee the shade she threw saying she didn't know anything about Nicki's alleged diss on "Hell Yeah"...or that she sang at all. Here are the highlights:
On feuding Nicki Minaj and her threats: "It felt like an unsafe work environment. Anytime anybody's reeling threats at somebody, you know, it's not appropriate. I'm a professional. I'm not used to that type of environment. On hiring more security - "I just felt it was the appropriate thing to do. Sitting there on the road with two babies, I'm not going to take any chances." On where she and Nicki stand now - She says they have made up. "For all the drama, I hope it helps the show," Carey said. "I think it's a classic, classy show and it didn't need this." On husband Nick Cannon and his health - "It was very serious, but he's got some great doctors who really got in there and helped him out and at this point he is doing great. He's better than ever." On daughter Monroe - "I call her Miss Monroe, and that kind of dictated her personality. She's a total diva. She's into jewelry. She's fascinated by jewelry." On son Morrocan - "He's my pal. He'll just watch movies with me. We've watched 'Shrek' I don't know how many times. We watch movies all the time together, relax. He's more chill."
Also, fans will get hear Tommy Mottola finally tell his side of the story about his marriage to Mariah when he releases his book Hitmaker on January 15 and addresses claims that he was mentally and emotionally abusive.

Brandy and Keyshia Cole are just two of the R&B ladies taking over the stage at the New Oleans Superdome this summer at the Essence Music Festival. It was just announced that they are on the official lineup of one of the biggest indoor music festivals in the country. And if those two ladies aren't your cup-o-tea, Jill Scott, Maxwell and New Edition have also been named to return to the stage. The 19th year of the Festival will see the usual musical performers, plus the day-time job fairs, workshops, speakers and more. Fresh off the heels of her exclusive interview with TheYBF.com, "LAHH 3" star Tahiry Jose stopped by Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club this AM to talk about the show's first episode and to explain her relationship to some of the show's central characters like her ex-boyfriend Joe Budden and her frenemy Raqi Thunda. What we really wanted to know is why she came out the gate swinging so hard--literally--thwoing drinks and fighting when we barely knew anyone's name yet. She must have read the script more passinately than others. But we digress. Here are the highlights: On Joe Budden She explained that she did not have sex with Joe last July (despite what he claims) and says that they will always share a closeness because of their history. She says that they are not friends "at the moment." She also shared a story about finding Joe hiding under her bed--she gave him a key (after they broke up) and during one of their off-moments he decided to hide under her bed. She said she is not still interested in Joe (yeah, ok) but because they have a storyline together AND a history, you are going to see some type of emotion between the two of them. She added she doesn't think she could ever get back with Joe because she doesn't believe anything he says and he needs to mature. She mentioned that his "addiction" problem did have an impact on her and she did "buy" a lot of things while they were together because he has bad credit. WOMP. Maybe that explains why she's still at her waitressign job years later. On castmate Raqi Thunda Tahiry admitted to having bad feelings towards her because she feels like Raqi used her to get to Joe. "There are certain things you just don't do. It's the principal behind the situation." She said she does believe that Raqi and Joe have slept together, but at this point it really doesn't matter. On threesomes She says she's never had a threesome but she is not opposed to them either. But, she made it clear she is not interested in getting with Joe and his new girlfriend Kailyn. On J.R. Smith (who posted that pic of her naked ass in bed with him) They are still friends but she is a little pissy that he tweeted a pic of her booty without her knowledge last year. She said that incident helped end their "relationship." Right.... On Fabolous - She says they messed around when she was 17. He was not a superstar at the time...he was still on mixtapes. Also on "The Breakfast Club" this morn: Joe stopped by to defend himself and gave a shockingly candid interview about his role on "LAHH 3." On if his behavior is authentic "None of my scenes [are fake]. All mines were authentic like a mugg. They just serve you all the alcohol in the universe at 8 a.m. and they gon' put you were they gon' put you and you gon' behave like you behave." On drug/Molly use "We popped 'em all summer. I stopped." On why he stopped using Molly "Well I had a bunch of bad incidents. My brain just operates differently on drugs. It was definitely a relapse." On Raqi Thunda and their "relationship" "I mean, me and Raqi did a lot of drugs together...It's easy to fall in love with people when you're doing drugs." On if he loves Raqi and her feelings for him "No, I'm of the belief that Raqi is in love with me." So there you have it. I see Joe is trying to play that annoying soft voice arrogant Stevie J-style role this season. So transparent. But maybe other folks love it....  |
