Little Lorde is growing up almost as fast as she's becoming famous!

The girl wonder from down under is turning 17 today and to mark the Royal occasion, we've dug up some of her most memorable quotes from the past year!

Lorde may only be a teenager but she speaks her mind like someone who's been around for ages! She's got an opinion and she's never too shy to share it!

And quite frankly, we love her for it!

Lorde took a lot of heat after calling out Selena Gomez for making music that's anti-feminist:

"I love pop music on a sonic level. But I'm a feminist and the theme of her song [Come & Get It] is, 'When you're ready come and get it from me.' I'm sick of women being portrayed this way."

Then she shared some thoughts on Taylor Swift being too perfect:

"Taylor Swift is so flawless, and so unattainable, and I don't think it's breeding anything good in young girls. I'm never going to be like Taylor Swift."

She apologized afterwards, saying:

"I am very, very new to this whole thing. I will probably never be the kind of role model for my fans that [Taylor] is for hers. I admire her very much for this reason. Basically, this is an apology for not thinking too hard before I speak."

Lorde's star is rising fast but she said she'll never end up like Britney Spears or Amy Winehouse:

"Six months ago, no-one knew who I was and now fans chase my car. But I'm never going to change or let fame get the better of me. I'll never go off the rails like Britney or do an Amy - because my upbringing was so normal."

Nor will she ever twerk like Miley Cyrus:

"[Twerking is] something I'd never do - I wouldn't feel confident with my arse out. But if Miley feels comfortable doing it herself then it's no one's business to judge. If she wants to appear in her bra and panties then it's cool. Having been in an institution like Disney all her life, it's important she has fun. For now, it's not for me. It's not natural."

She's not exactly a fan of Justin Bieber:

"I feel like the influences that are there in the industry for people my age, like Justin Bieber or whatever, are just maybe not a very real depiction of what it's like to be a young person."

Or Lana Del Rey's lyrics:

"I listened to that Lana Del Rey record and the whole time I was just thinking it's so unhealthy for girls to be listening to, you know, 'I'm nothing without you.' This sort of shirt-tugging, desperate, 'don't leave me' stuff. That's not a good thing for young girls, even young people, to hear."

But she does relate to Kanye West:

"When I meet a bunch of girls my age, I find that stressful as I'm just a high school student myself. I feel intimidated by them. But meeting people like Kanye West - people who are into what you do and understand about having a vision - I can relate to."

She even wanted to touch Kanye's grill:

He's a really mellow dude - super relaxed. He had this big old grill, and I wanted to touch it, but I restrained myself."

She threw a diss at all of the Disney stars:

"The difference between those kids and me is that I grew up completely normally and went to parties and had that experience. I am way less inclined to be like, 'Look! I'm fucking mental!'"

And gave some MAJOR shade to David Guetta after he wanted to collaborate with her:

"No! F*ck no! He's so gross!"

She does want to write songs for Rihanna and Ellie Goulding though:

"Rihanna would be fun to write for because she's done everything. And I'd love to write for — or with — Ellie Goulding, actually."

And she'd rather have Beyoncé as a mom than Kim Kardashian:

"Oh. I would rather be the daughter of Beyoncé and Jay Z because, if Beyoncé is your mom? No words."

This year's VMAs performances had Lorde making some AH-Mazing predictions:

Justin Bieber Might Be Turning His Back On Twitter As He Invests In Another Social Network!

Is someone a little hurt about losing his Twitter king crown to Katy Perry??

While we're not sure if Justin Bieber has the blues over being second best, we do know that he's carrying on with life AND business because he's just taken a leap into a new project!

Even though Twitter and Facebook reign supreme in the social networking kingdom, the Biebs is apparently hoping Shots of Me edges them out like Katy did to him. LOLz!

But what is Shots of Me???

Well, it's only the new social network that the Biebs has reportedly invested, along with his buddy Floyd Mayweather Jr., in the $1.1 million seed money the company needed. The network owned by RockLive will reportedly appeal to teens on social networking sites who aren't getting everything they want out of social networking.

There is not a site yet available, but an app is reportedly set to launch this week.

So you know what that means...the Biebs is soooo going to be tweeting about this shizz!

Bethenny Frankel Finally Forks Over $10K To Omarosa! Was It A Thank You For Ratings Boost?!

America loves a good feud!

And it seems feuds really do pay in every way you can imagine.

After Bethenny Frankel made a bet with Omarosa Manigault on her talk show, the margarita mama finally paid up the $10,000 she lost. And even though that money is going to be sent to a charity, it also seems like a nice thank you for the ratings boost.

That's right, Bethenny's supposed bad ratings got a nice lil' boost from Omarosa's visit that included them fussin' and a feudin' over mediocrity and "white privilege." And even though she gets to give back to charity because of her visit, helping Bethenny was never Omarosa's plan. She admitted:

"I never wanted to help Bethenny's ratings. I was a life preserver for her sinking ship!"

But even though Omarosa thinks Bethenny might have stirred the drama just to score an increase in ratings, Omarosa admitted it was all for the best in the end:

"I proved her to be a liar and she had to cough up $10 thousand. I'm now looking forward to making sure the charity gets the money."

And when charity wins, everyone wins!

We sure hope their feud leads to many more donations in the future!

Elizabeth Vargas Checks Herself Into Rehab: "I Am Dealing With Addiction"

Oh noes!

We are shocked to hear that Elizabeth Vargas has been battling with substance abuse and has now checked herself into rehab!

The 51-year-old co-anchor of ABC's news program 20/20 has been noticeably absent from the show recently. She has now opened up about needing help, admitting:

"Like so many people, I am dealing with addiction. I realized I was becoming increasingly dependent on alcohol. And feel fortunate to have recognized it for the problem it was becoming.

Elizabeth is also known for her brief stint as the anchor of World News Tonight, a post she held for six months following the death of Peter Jennings.

The news anchor is turning to her colleagues at ABC as well as her family during this difficult time. She is married to Walking in Memphis singer Marc Cohn and together they have two sons.

She commented on the support she's receiving, saying:

"I am in treatment and am so thankful for the love and support of my family, friends and colleagues at ABC News. Like so many others, I will deal with this challenge one day at a time. If coming forward today gives one other person the courage to seek help, I'm grateful."

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire's Tributes Land At LAX!

Tributes are usually transported by train in The Hunger Games, so taking a plane must have been a real luxury!

Some of the former victors of the arena from Catching Fire touched down at LAX last night, including Sam Claflin, who plays Finnick Odair, Jena Malone, who plays Johanna Mason, and Stephanie Leigh Schlund, who plays Cashmere!

We wonder if Sam was able to bring his trident aboard as a carry-on, or Stephanie her throwing axe? Hmm, those might be considered Capitol crimes in Panem!

All in all, we sincerely hope that their flight was smooth and that they didn't have any run-ins with hovercrafts!

What we're really dying to know is which is more violent: fighting to the death in the arena or vying for armrest space?! In the end there can really only be one victor.

Lauren Conrad & Kristin Cavallari Reunited For Another Installment Of The Hills!? MTV Wants It!

Can this be real life???

MTV is looking into joining forces with both Lauren Conrad and Kristin Cavallari for The Hills part deux!

Lots of amaze things have happened for these ladies since the show ended, and MTV officials are hoping to monopolize their good fortune in exchange for some retro-sized ratings!

One insider revealed:

"Lauren and Kristin being friends again is an event that MTV viewers will want to experience. Only economics is going to keep a reunion from airing next year. MTV has been trying to re-establish those franchises in an interesting way for a while now but just haven't had a hook."

...That hook being a reconciliation of the former feuding frenemy castmates!

While we love the idea of a show consisting of flashback clips and a studio audience---we find it very hard to believe that either of these girls would sign on!

Kristin is married with a child and currently preggers, while Lauren is the head of a thriving lifestyle empire and recently engaged!

Sorry to burst your bubble fans, but this is probably not ever gonna happen...

Especially since they've both spoken out against the show!
