Last night in NYC, Jennifer Hudson trekked it to the Apollo Theater in her printed Louboutins for the big premiere of the upcoming Holiday musical Black Nativity.
Check out the fab chick and her co-stars, like Jacob Latimore, inside at the premiere and afterparty at Red Rooster in Harlem... Jenny knows the dresses that work for her new bod. This little black dress with panels of sheer material and a sexy slit was a fab choice for the newly coifed actress/singer last night. A different bra may have made the look even hotter, but she looked fab nonetheless: Forest Whitaker had his wife Keisha and daughter Sonnet on his arms for his big night: Nas, who is also in the movie, flew solo on the carpet. TD Jakes and his fam awkwardly hit the carpet. Russell Simmons was spotted at the premiere supporting his celeb friends with singer Alyson Williams.
Co-star Tyrese tossed on his grey suit and hit the carpet.

Singer Antonique Smith (from Notorious) hit the carpet in a sexy white gown. The gorgeous Angela Bassett, who plays Forest's wife in the movie, rocked a cute Rachel Roy dress for premiere night:
And, of course, her hubby Courtney B. Vance was there to support. Loves them! Former "Top Model" contestant Keenyah Hill rocked a stylish look on the carpet.

Lynn Whitfield is looking great these days at 60. Face work settled and everything... Singer Luke James rocked an interesting look for the carpet. Reality star and Olympian Sanya Rchards-Ross posed with her NFLer hubby Aaron Ross. Cute pantsuit. Lee In Talks With Universal For Another "Best Man" Installment Posted: 19 Nov 2013 07:08 AM PST Following the box office success of "The Best Man Holiday", director Malcolm Lee is in talks with Universal to create another film for "The Best Man" franchise. Deets inside.... Now that The Best Man Holiday has collected nearly $32 Million in its opening weekend, executives at Universal are already in talks with director Malcolm D. Lee to write, direct and produce another installment for the franchise. According to Deadline, Malcolm's "TBM" project will take priority over his other committments with Fox Searchlight and Universal. These "talks" are surely good news to the cast of TBM, who should rightfully get huge pay increases to lock them down for a third installment. FUN FACT: Malcolm D. Lee and 12 Years A Slave director Steve McQueen are old schoolmates! Malcolm tweeted a pic of the two and captioned it "Between interviews and I ran into my old classmate, Steve McQueen (of 12 Years A Slave fame). #livehistoryinthemaking."

Kanye West's Nick Knight-directed video for his newest single "Bound 2" is here. And he's got his baby's mama Kim K. tapping into her porn star skills as his leading lady. She's naked and riding out with him on a motorcycle through the Grand Canyon. Check it inside....
Kim's been dying to get naked again for Playboy magazine, and Kanye loves eroticizing his women in visual projects of his (remember that Louis Vuitton ad with him and a naked Amber Rose?). So it's a win-win for everyone involved as 'Ye brings in his bride-to-be to ride on top of him & a motorcycle through the desert in Arizona. And it's giving us sex simulation tease. Check out what to expect inside, plus new music from Chris Brown & K. Michelle.... After hitting the streets in NYC on Monday (pictured above), Kanye and his girl Kim K. are gearing up for another PR event--the new "Bound 2" video off the Yeezus album. The new video, which is directed by Nick Knight, premieres Tuesday on "Ellen", but it's already been leaked that Kim Kardashian will make a "sexy" appearance in the vid. Of course. Us Weekly's source told them: 'Kim looks beyond gorgeous. It's very artsy, very beautiful. The imagery is very colorful and light. Nothing about it feels pop or urban. She looks incredible.' As you know, Kanye hit Harvard's Graduate Design School on Sunday to give a lecture with his creative director Virgil, all in the name of their DONDA project. The Hollywood Reporter says 'Ye told students:

By the way, the couple was spotted chowing down at Wendy's in Philly over the weekend where 'Ye had his tour stop. Reportedly, only Kanye copped a burger since Kim is doing the Atkins diet for that post-baby snap back.
K. Michelle isn't letting up on that music dropping. While on her Rebellious Soul tour, she took some time to record a Holiday bundle of two songs for the most magical time of year. And by magical, when it comes to K., we mean popping off on who you thought was your man because he still ain't acting like sh*t during the Holidays. The first song released of the two is "Christmas Night," and the other track that appears in the bundle is a cover of "O Come All Ye Faithful". And it looks like rehab aint stopping his show. Breezy has released his mixtape called The X Files. And it's streaming below. Check it: No word on the status of the full album with a similar name.

Also, see Karrueche Tran's "The Kill" look book. Kevin Hart posted a new Instagram photo from a recent shoot "Photo shoot Fresh....here is another shot from my last Fashion Shoot! #MultipleMe #MyAlbumCoverIfiCouldSing #ComedicRockstarShit" . It makes perfect sense that Kevin would need to multiply himself since the self-proclaimed "Chocolate Drop" and star of "RHOH" will star in Ride Along with Ice Cube (in theaters January 17, 2014) as well as About Last Night with Michael Ealy (in theaters February 14, 2014) and Think Like A Man Too (in theaters June 20, 2014). It looks like 2014 will be the year of Kevin Hart!
In other Kevin Hart news..... His ex-wife Torrei Hart (who'll be starring in Atlanta Exes) did a recent interview with AfterBuzz TV where she dished on her relationship with Kevin. At the (30:05) mark, Torrei revealed that she did a few crazy things for love because Kevin "put it down in the bedroom". She also added that she's comfortable with the lady who plays her on "RHOH" though it's a little exaggerated (29:19). We're sure... Watch the interview here:
In fashion news..... While her boyfriend and co-creator Chris Brown deals with his demons (and community service), Karrueche Tran has taken the mantle to promote their fashion line "The Kill". Since they're back on as a couple, it looks like so is this line (that seemed to be previously KILLED when they broke up months ago.) Karrueche hosted a launch party for the label back in January 2013 and her newly released photos are the first real glimpse we've gotten at the collection. Piece from the unisex line have already been spotted on celebs like Wiz Khalifa and Christina Milian. Karrueche tweeted, "THEKILLSOCIETY - I know it's been foreverrrrrrrr but it is coming. Check out Syleena Johnson, Angie Stone and Lil Mo making the announcement inside, plus Porsha Stewart trying to find herself a new man already... The divas from ATL and L.A. are back! Syleena Johnson, Angie Stone and Lil Mo made their way to Roland Martin's News One Now on TVOne this AM to make the big announcement: "R&B Divas Atlanta" copped a third season and "R&B Divas LA" got its second season, and both of which are slated for 2014 premieres.
R&B Divas Atlanta cast members returning for the series’ third season will include Syleena Johnson, Angie Stone, Monifah Carter and Keke Wyatt. No Nicci Gilbert? Or Faith Evans? We're not shocked. Womps. Season Three of "R&B Divas Atlanta" will kick off production later this month.
In other news, Porsha Stewart is back on the hunt for a new husband. She will appear on the "Steve Harvey Show" this week interviewing men to date. Of course, Steve wants to offer up his "Think Like A Lady" skills to help the "RHOA" star. And here's a few clips of her potential suitors:

| Posted: 18 Nov 2013 01:19 PM PST While Hov was spotted out in SoHo in NYC this afternoon (above), Barneys has cancelled the holiday kickoff event for the Jay Z Holiday collaboration. Get the deets inside and find out about new music from Justin Bieber/R. Kelly and Chris Brown. The fallout from the Barneys discrimination investigation continues as the luxury department store has decided to cancel the “New York Holiday,” event which celebrated the collaboration with Shawn “Jay Z” Carter. The event, originally scheduled for Wednesday, would have raised funds for the Shawn Carter Foundation. The party won't take place, but both Jay Z and Barneys have decided to continue plans to launch the holiday collection in its stores on Wednesday. Last Friday, the company posted this statement on Facebook about the discrimination investigations:
So they're still maintaining NYPD has psychic abilities and knows when to approach someone on the street who had just left Barneys. SMH......we wonder if any of this will impact the store's holiday sales....
In new singles.... As part of his #MusicMondays, Justin Bieber has released the track, "PYD", featuring R. Kelly. Although the song isn't an official single, fans of Justin can catch him singing his official hits when the "BELIEVE" tour rolls through Auckland, New Zealand starting Nov. 23, then moves to Brisbane, Australia on Nov. 26. Meanwhile, R. Kelly's upcoming album “Black Panties” will drop Dec. 10.

While Chris Brown's "X" album is still without a release date (as he focuses on rehab and community service), his fans will be able to experience 5-new songs tomorrow on a mixtape called "X Files". It drops tomorrow..... The Randomness: 1. Malinda Williams is set to executive produce and star in Marry Me For Christmas for the UP network. Story.

See the family inside and find out how The Best Man Holiday performed at the box office. Last night, First Lady Michelle Obama rocked her trendy skinny jeans and brought her family to cheer on her brother, Craig Robinson. He who coaches the Oregon State men's basketball team and the First Fam usually treks it to at least one of his games to show support. On Tuesday, the First Lady will appear on a special 1-hr episode of “106 & Park” to talk about higher education and the President’s “North Star” Goal to return the US to its position as the country with the highest proportion of college graduates in the world by 2020. President Obama, and daughters Sasha and Malia cheered on the First Lady's brother as he coached the Beavers to a 90-83 victory over Maryland. Although the President has been battered by both the left and the right (often times unnecessarily) over problems with Healthcare.gov, he and the family were able to enjoy some quality time during the chaos. And even snapped some funny pics for the kids. Watch the Obamas' warm welcome here and Mr. President being the doting dad we love:
At the movies..... It was a great weekend at the box office for The Best Man Holiday. The film EXCEEDED industry analyst's initial projects and finished at the box office with an estimated $31 Million dollars, closing at 2nd place. Though the film was edged out for #1 by THOR, let's put it in perspective this way: THOR played on 3,841 screens and made ($38M) while BMH played on 2,024 screens and grossed $31M. So....who really won? Malcolm Lee....take a bow. Apparently this was labeled an "overperformance" by movie media. Not sure who sets the standards, but it sounds like they "underpredicted" a movie (who happened to have a majority ethnic cast) as usual rather than the movie "over performing". Just sayin'.... Here's the rest of the box office: Congrats all around!

See Solange's pics from Jamaica inside... Saints Records head honcho Solange posted a few effortlessly gorgeous bikini/scenic shots from a recent jaunt to Jamaica.
While DJing, working on new music and traveling between Brooklyn and New Orleans, Solange managed to release the Saint Heron compilation disc on her independent label that features her favorite artists. Solange rocks a print and a pattern like nobody's damn business. Gotta love it.
While fans await new music, hot mama Solo dropped "Cash In" from the Saint Heron compilation over the weekend.
"Cash In" was written, arranged and co-produced by Solange with producer Tim Anderson, formerly of Ima Robot. Check it.

| MUCH TO DISCUSS: Porsha Stewart MAJORLY Shades Kordell & His "Queen" Ways + Apollo's Temper Tantrums Posted: 18 Nov 2013 10:01 AM PST Oh Porsha. Your epic shade about your estranged hubby Kordell Stewart got all kinds of "Chick, please" comments from us. For many reasons. Check out what Pastor Porsha was up to last night on "RHOA" while fighting for her life, aka fighting to keep a storyline.... As we've said plenty of times before, YES, Kordell is bish-made for the way he handled this divorce. But the constant gay allusions about Kordell on last night's episode seemed a bit transparent and wreckless. From saying he needs to speak to her WOMAN TO WOMAN about how he feels, to how only a QUEEN would pack up her wedding dress the way he did, to a few booty references....Porsha was on 100 last night. Bitter? Maybe. Correct in her accusations? Who knows. But either way, she was A-OK with it all while he was buying her a life that she could say was perfect. But now that they're divorcing, she seems to have had oh so many issues. We expect a defamation suit or two coming from Kordell after all that. But maybe not, if he's totally over and done with her. Time will tell... Was anyone else shocked by Apollo's temper tantrums during last night's episode? He was extra perturbed about having to do this "last minute photoshoot". Phaedra--who hit up "WWHL" last night--swore she told him about a long time ago. But we're just wondering....what else did you have to do Apollo? We all know you didn't have to go to work, punch a clock, pick up a check or hit a job interview. So, we're just wondering...
What else you may have missed and it need to be discussed in the comments below: Riley shared her thoughts on Todd and Kandi's marriage. Which means she shared nothing because she has no thoughts about it, so she says. But what we did learn, is that Mama Joyce lied through her teeth about Riley telling her she just ignores Todd most of the time because she doesn't like him. Sounds like Mama Joyce was transferring her own feelings onto a little girl. Hmph. And if you're interested in the exaggerated "drama" of Kenya Moore getting the cops called on her, check out what happened below. Apparently, Kenya believes her landlord, Conya, attempted to kick her out because Kenya wouldn't be besties with her. Seriously. We're still confused on the evicted-but-not-evicted situation, but whatevs. Here's the full episode below in case you missed it:
As for what's going down on the next episode, Porsha is still crying tears of supposed regret about her marriage and its epic fail. She goes to see her therapist--and by "her therapist" we mean everyone's reality tv therapist Dr. Sherry Blake. Porsha reveals her name wasn't on the deed to the house or any of the bank accounts. And she came to the realization she was more like hired help to a father figure than a wife to a husband. We could have told her that for free. And could have told her more about how transparent she is about ONLY having a problem with the way Kordell acted behind closed doors AFTER he filed for divorce so publicly and ruined the image she tried so hard to maintain. She was surely loving--according to her own words on the show--never having to lift a finger and driving a Benz, being dressed by him like a Barbie and having a "perfect marriage." But we digress. Blige and more doing what they do best... Tia Mowry brought her gorgeous self on the orange carpet of the 2013 HALO Awards last night hosted by TeenNick at the Hollywood Palladium. And the show was all about good kids doing great things and giving back. The "Instant Mom" star--whose show is on the Nick network--donned this super cute sequin dress full of flower power. The always beaming actress' multi colored frock is from French Connection, and she paired it with silver Jimmy Choo sandals.
Loves her.
And over at The Grove last night: Toni Braxton showed off her hot curves in this red & purple watercolor contour body con dress with a pair of red hot pumps. And her sexy Holiday look was all for the big Tree Lighting Ceremony for the Christmas At The Grove event. Her Love Marriage & Divorce partner in crime, Babyface, was on hand to do their duets. They've got a new Christmas collabo out, their version of "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas."
Mary J. Blige kept it fly in her two looks. And CeeLo was also there to bust out some songs for the crowd. Fab times!
