"BEST" WOMEN: Nia Long COVERS "Viva"" Magazine, TALKS Kissing A White Man On "Tavis Smiley" + Regina Hall DISHES About Singing To Prince On "WENDY" Posted: 09 Nov 2013 08:15 AM PST The stars of "The Best Man Holiday" have been on the promo trail with Nia Long on "VIVA" and "Tavis Smiley" and Regina Hall on "WENDY".  See the interviews inside.... The Best Man Holiday, the highly-anticipated sequel to The Best Man, will hit movie theaters on November 15th.  Before the big day arrives, the film's stars have been doing heavy promo. In our latest roundup, we spied Nia Long on the cover of VIVA, a natural health magazine for women. Nia also stopped by the Tavis Smiley show on PBS.  While chatting with Tavis, she joked about her character dating a white man and explained why she came back for the sequel.   "I think the main thing was that the entire cast supported the idea of doing a sequel. That was it for me. If we – it was like I don’t think any of us would have really done it had we not all been a part of it. We’re all friends. We’ve all grown, our careers have grown, we’ve become parents, we’ve become – Terrence Howard is a grandfather, you know what I mean? So life has changed, and it was just an interesting notion to see what would happen if you put these group of friends together 17, 18 year later, and whoa, where is their life now?" When Tavis laughed about her character dating a white man, Nia said, "Oh, gosh. That’s not my first white man. I like all flavors, Tavis. Come on, now." HARPO...Who Dis Man? Keyshia Cole SPOTTED Getting Close To "Mystery" Man In Atlanta???? Posted: 09 Nov 2013 08:00 AM PST "I Should Have Cheated" singer Keyshia Cole was seen talking to a mystery man at a Drake concert afterparty in Atlanta.  See pics from Keyshia's night out inside and find out why she's in Atlanta..... Amid rumors that her marriage to Daniel "Bobbie" Gibson is on the rocks, Keyshia Cole didn't do herself any favors when she was photographed with a mystery man in Atlanta recently. Keyshia and the mystery man were seen at ATL hotspot Regin following the Drake concert on Thursday night.  Does this mean she and Daniel are done?  We don't think so.  During a recent interview with True Exclusives, Keyshia spoke about her marriage to Daniel saying,  "We’re good. We’re chillin’. We have a kid. We’re married. So it’s all love." You'll recall that for her 32nd birthday last month, Daniel gave the "I Choose You" singer a 10-day vacation to the Bahamas. While in the ATL, Keyshia fans will be pleased to know that she's working on a new album and mixtape and is set to hosted a party tonight at KRAVE.      EXTRAS: 1.  Eddie Robinson Jr., the son of legendary Grambling State coach Eddie Robinson (he was also his assistant for 16 seasons), died Wednesday night at the age of 70. Mr. Robinson passed away at Baylor University Medical Center where he had undergone heart surgery and was dealing with a prolonged illness. Story. EXCLUSIVE DETAILS: Joe proposed to Tahiry....And She Says NO. Posted: 09 Nov 2013 05:50 AM PST Tahiry Jose and Joe Budden were spotted filming a scene for "LAHH" that turned into a proposal!  Find out what Tahiry said inside.... Tahiry and Joe won't be sidelined by the love triangle of Peter Gunz/Amina Buddafly/Tara on "LAHH" as Joe has upped the ante and popped the question!   As Tahiry (who wore an Alice + Olivia top & pencil skirt) prepares to open a new go-go bar named Club Suite 135, the duo were spotted filming an upcoming scene that apparently turned into a proposal. The couple were in the middle of Times Square and a huge megatron showed Joe holding up cards that said the words "forgiveness, family, sex, commitment and Tahiry."   We've watched the two go through their ups and down (very publically) for a few years now, but it looks like Joe is really ready to get serious. SIDEBAR:  The couple sat together for NY fashion week in September, but they were were NOT romantic....maybe things have changed.   Watch a clip of the proposal here: Although Tahiry and Joe were "together" on the first episode of the season, lately, we've heard that Tahiry is dating an NFL player....but THAT relationship could be over by now. RED CARPET ROUND-UP: 2013 Soul Train Music Awards Posted: 09 Nov 2013 12:32 AM PST   Everybody in black Hollywood--seemingly--hit up the 2013 Soul Train Awards in Las Vegas Friday night.  Check out the major round up of pics inside... Friday night at the Orleans Arena, tons of celebs walked the red carpet for this year's Soul Train Awards.  And we've got all the pics. Ashanti slayed in this sheer & sexy Reeve dress and Louboutins with her new straight bob.  Hot look for her. Now that we've got a close up look of Jenny's new hair, her wiggery is very nice.  Yep, we highly doubt she cut her actual tresses.   The fab chick rocked a belted mini dressby Balmain and Saint Laurent Studded Lace-Up Platform Boots that screamed rock and roll as she posed it up with Tyrese on the carpet.   K.Michelle was nominated for Best New Artist and also performed during the show. The Braxton Sisters took the opportunity to do some promo for "Braxton Family Values" which kicks off again soon.  Tamar spent Friday night hitting the stage at the Awards, and her besties from "Tamar & Vince"--LaShawn & April Daniels--were also there: And so was Tamar's big sis Toni:   Toni was promoting her and Babyface's upcoming duet collabo album Love Marriage & Divorce, due out February 4th. The ridiculously beautiful couple, Nicole Ari Parker Kodjoe and Boris Kodjoe--lit up the carpet.   Mike Epps' wife Mechelle made an appearance. Bridget Kelly looked stunning in this black sheer gown. And Bridget's stylist Kim V. and her husband Alaska Gideon--who both appeared on "Newlyweds: First Year" on Bravo--hit the carpet together. Janelle Monae brought her mom as her date, and we see where she gets her flawless face and fashion taste! Pretty.   Sommore and Larenz Tate hit the carpet still looking good. Anthony Anderson brought his cutie son on the carpet.     Singer Sevyn Streeter kept it cute in this flirty slightly sheer dress.   "Hollywood Exes" stars Sheree Fletcher and Shamika Lawrence posed it up together. The fellas of TGT--Tyrese & Tank--made the trip without Ginuwine it seems. Cutie Candice Glover (the "American Idol" winner) hit the stage to perform "Still In Love With Me".     Where you been Jon B??   Vivica Fox kept it chic in this black Roberto Cavalli gown, a Barclays Jewelry statement necklace and Giuseppe Zanotti shoes. Nobooooody.  Keith Sweat kept it cool on the carpet as one of the honorees of the Awards show.   Yep, Charlie Baltimore is really still in the mix these days.   She actually looked great in this Balmain mini dress and sparkling Louboutins.  Wonder if she caught up with her former Murder Inc. chick Ashanti.   Bill Bellamy and his wife Kristen kept it cute on the carpet.     Vanessa Williams rocked a flirty patterned red frock. Keshia Knight Pulliam kept it curve happy on the carpet.  Fab.   E! News correspondent Alicia Quarels rocked this dark blue Catherine Malandrino pantsuit paired with a clutch by Sunita Mukhi and a belt from BCBG MAX AZRIA.   Ron Isley and his striped shoes hit the carpet with his woman.   Jamie Foster Brown and singer Lyfe made their way to the Awards. Faith Evans looked great in this black and gold body con dress.   E-40 and his wife Tracy popped up on the carpet.   Lil Mama and that green hair we love are back: Nice look again for her. MC Lyte rocked her leather look.   Looks like Kenny Lattimore has officially moved on....   Malinda Williams looked her usual gorgeous self on the carpet.   Tristan/Mack Wilds hit up the Awards. Last night, Jamie Foster Brown celebrated the 25th anniversary of Sister 2 Sister Magazine at the Palms Hotel in Las Vegas.      "Single Ladies" star LisaRaye McCoy, a longtime supporter of S2S, gave Jamie a shoulder to lean on. Inside the party, LisaRaye helped Jamie cut the cake and even hit the dance floor with Eddie Levert. Rapstress Charli Baltimore arrived in a feathery cocktail dress. Famed boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. showed his love and support for S2S and hit that two-step with Jamie:   Eddie Levert posed it up with "RHOA" star Kandi Burruss inside the party.   Famed Isley Brothers crooner Ronald Isley was there with wife Kandy.    Carl Anthony Payne II, who played LA Reid in the TLC biopic, sported a double-breasted blazer. SPEAKING OUT: Peter Gunz EXPLAINS The Love Triangle With Amina Buddafly & Tara Posted: 08 Nov 2013 11:35 AM PST "LAHH" star Peter Gunz chatted it up with The Breakfast Club to explain his love triangle with wife Amina Buddafly and baby momma Tara. Watch the interview inside....   If you thought the Stevie J/Joseline Hernandez/Mimi Faust triangle was mess, meet Peter Gunz.  Peter, who rose to fame (NOT riches) with the NYC classic "Deja Vu (Uptown Baby)" is having a resurgence in popularity at the expense of his wife Amina Buddafly and two-time baby momma Tara on VH1's "LAHH". Here's the backstory (in case watching this mess is far too taxing on your brains):  On the first episode of "LAHH", we found out that Peter was cheating on his baby mama of thirteen years, Tara, with his artist, Amina. Later on, we found out that Peter and Amina were secretly married!  To keep this straight, Peter's side chick is now the main chick which makes the former main chick the new side chick! But wait...it gets better.  Peter has seven kids by five different women!  You have to hand it to Mona Scott....she knows how to pick 'em! Peter appeared on The Breakfast Club to talk about his messy love affair earlier this week.  When asked why he married Amina, he explained that it was during a really dark-period with Tara.  When he was quizzed about the true intention of the marriage (e.g. so she could get a green card) he said, "Listen, I'm not gonna marry someone I don't love. I would never get married to a person I didn't love. Definitely not for no green card. It was out of love."  But he did say he regretted that mess. Here are a few other highlights: On who he's REALLY with: “It’s still the hardest question in the world to answer. I’m with Amina. Amina and I are married. I know y’all want to kill me out there. All the women want to kill me out there. I’m only giving my best explanation and that’s not excuses. It’s wrong. It’s dead wrong.  ” On why he married Amina behind Tara's back: “Just to show Amina–’wait for me. I promise you. I jumped out the window and I did something I regret because Tara didn’t deserve that. She deserved for me to come out and say…’I'm out.’ On his money situation: "I'm not well off, I'm not behind in rent. I take care of rent, I take care of my kids, no child support cases." On Mona Scott setting him up so that Amina and Tara would discover the truth about each other: "Mona Magic is 'Today we are doing the showcase, today y'all filming the intro, nobody is going to see this.' But why do I have Amina and Tara in the same scene at the same time? You assured me that they aren't supposed to see each other." On Tara: “Tara is dope, man. "LAHH" stat K. Michelle has released "He Gets Me" as the follow-up to her summer hits "V.S.O.P." & "The Right One".  K. said that "He Gets Me" (not found on her Rebellious Soul album),  is a gift to her fans.  This time around, she singing her man's praises.  Not cuss-outs here. She tweeted, “Just wanted to give my Rebels something special tonight. Cant wait for you all to hear the new Christmas Music.” K. is currently on the road with her "Rebellious Soul" tour which features Sevyn Streeter and Tiara Thomas.  And she's set to release her Rebellious Soul Christmas album soon. How freakin' adorbs is this family?! At the 10th Annual Black Ball last night, Swizz Beatz and Egypt hit the carpet with mom and wife Alicia Keys to support her huge cause.  The Keep A Child Alive organization--who hosts this annual ball--is dedicated to providing life-saving HIV treatment, care, nutritious food, support services and love to children and families affected by HIV in Kenya, Rwanda, South Africa, Uganda and India. So celebs came out in a few fabulous looks to support the cause. Alicia rocked a red hot cut-out gown fo her big night. Hot couple Grant Hill (now co-host of NBA "Inside Stuff") & Tamia showed up looking great.   Pharrell, in a sleek Lanvin tuxedo, got cutesy with his new wife Helen on the carpet.     LaLa Anthony rocked a black lace gown for a nice Fall look. And the performances of the night were Mrs. Keys Beatz with Pharrell, Carole King and more. Alicia said about the event: I'm in awe of how @keepachildalive has been saving lives for 10 years!!
