RUMOR CONTROL: Beyonce's Rep DENIES Reports She Was BANNED From The Pyramids Posted: 28 Nov 2013 08:28 AM PST A rep for Beyonce is denying reports that she was kicked out of the pyramids a few years ago.  Read the rep's statement about the "lies" inside.... In a statement released to E! News, Beyonce's rep has denied unfounded reports published in The Independent that she was kicked out of the pyramids by Dr Hawass, Egypt's former head of antiquities and gatekeeper of the Pyramids. Here's what the publication reported: From the mouth of Dr Hawass, Beyonce is rude and stupid! He recalls her visit to Egypt this way: "Most people I take on tours are very nice and we become friends. But this lady…She said she would come at 3pm but she came late. I said 'You have to say I'm sorry I'm late'. But she didn't open her mouth. I brought a photographer and she also had a photographer and a guard. When my photographer started to shoot, he said 'No, Stop! I am the one who says yes or no, not you.' I said 'In that case since you almost hit my photographer and you are not polite - out! I am not giving you the privilege of having you on my tour.' I said Beyoncé was stupid and I left." That was his version of the event. Here's what Bey's rep said: "This never happened. The last time she was in Egypt was on tour in 2009. Nothing like this happened. Lies and more lies." E! News did go on to mention that during Bey's 2009 trip to the pyramids, there were rumors that she and Hawass had an awkward encounter. Hmmm....... Iggy Azalea & T.I. Hit "Letterman" + B.O.B & Chris Brown's "Throwback" + Ashanti Hits "Good Day NY" With "Let It Snow" Posted: 28 Nov 2013 07:50 AM PST T.I. & Iggy Azalea spent Thanksgiving Eve night on "Letterman" with their pre-taped performance of "Change Your Life".   Check it inside, plus Chris Brown & B.O.B's "Throwback" and Ashanti belting out "Let It Snow" on "Good Day NY"....   When Iggy's not canoodling with her NBA baller boo Nick Young or hitting up a Lakers game (like she did last night), she's getting her TV performances in.  The Aussie rapper hit "Letterman" with T.I. last night to rock out with "Change Your Life." Check out the twosome above. Breezy may be on his way/in rehab, but his music and features are still coming.  B.O.B.'s newest single, "Throwback", features the embattled singer.  Chris recorded his vocals in L.A. while B.o.B laid down his verses and produced the track in Atlanta. The song appears on B's upcoming album, Underground Luxury, out December 17th.     And the fabness that is Ashanti hit up "Good Day NY" Thursday morning in a little red dress and nude Louboutin pumps.  She chatted up the hosts about her upcoming Lifetime Christmas movie, Christmas in the City. She said about her character in the flick, premiering December 7th at 8p. “She is such a disgusting, mean, nasty, snooty woman, which is so completely different than me." SPEAKING OUT: Rihanna's Stylist Ursula Stephen RESPONDS To "DoobieGATE" Posted: 27 Nov 2013 01:46 PM PST Rihanna's stylist Ursula Stephen spoke to ELLE.com about the controversial "doobie" RiRi ricked at the AMAs. Find out whose idea it was to rock the look inside... Because Rihanna's AMA doobie set off a wave of controversy this week, Ursula Stephen, the woman behind some of Rihanna's most iconic hairstyles, spoke to ELLE.com about the controversy and revealed that she initially DID NOT want RiRi to rock the doobie.  Here are the highlights: Whose idea was it for Rihanna to wear a doobie wrap? It was actually Rihanna's idea. She had her mind made up! Honestly, I was a little hesitant but I knew she could pull it off, so I was all for it. Did you anticipate the overwhelming reaction? I knew it would get a reaction but I wasn't sure if it would be positive or negative. A doobie on the red carpet has never been done before so I knew it could have gone either way. Do you foresee the wrap, worn outside the home/salon, becoming a universal trend? Sure. I mean, it's already been done. I see girls on the street rocking them all the time shopping, eating, etc. It's just never been seen in a formal setting. Some interpreted the style to mean Rihanna is nonchalant about her AMAs honor while others felt it was a unique and clever nod to her culture at a time when the world was watching. What statement were you and Rihanna trying to make? It was a nod to fashion! This is a style that can be worn by some of the most beautiful actresses in Hollywood. The wrap actually has roots in the '30s finger waves hairstyle, and with the embellished pins, it channeled Old Hollywood. Were the pins a request Rihanna made or your own design decision? What did they bring to the look? Yes, the '30s were all about [the wrap]! The pins helped to elevate the look from just your average doobie. There's been quite a bit of backlash from some members of the African-American and Latina community, who feel the wrap should be relegated to the bedroom. How do you respond to that criticism? Everyone has an opinion. However, the doobie has been worn to Bergdorf Goodman. They just haven't been paying attention. And it's been around since the '30s. Part of my job is to know eras, trends and fashion, and to keep looks alive by adding a modern twist. You were also behind Rihanna's iconic cut during the 'Good Girl Gone Bad' era. Together, you two consistently step outside the box and experiment with hair. Is it your goal to push the envelope further and further with Rihanna's looks? What groundbreaking style do you want her to try next? Of course! As an artist, you can't take yourself too seriously. It's about evolving, having fun, feeling beautiful and letting the look interpret the feeling, mood and the music! I feel like we have done everything. ARM INK: Safaree Samuels GETS A 6-Hour TATTOO Of Nicki Minaj's Face Posted: 27 Nov 2013 12:57 PM PST Though she doesn't "claim" him as her man, Safaree Samuels made a very public declaration about his feelings for Nicki Minaj with a new tattoo of her face on his arm.  Watch video from the 6-hour process inside... Although Nicki Minaj stays mum about their relationship, a new tattoo on Safaree Samuels' arm seems to confirm that the two are a couple.  On a new vlog posted to YouTube, Safaree shows the 6-hour process it took for him to ink a photo of Nicki's face on his arm.  He says, "The problem is that a lot of people go and tattoo people they don’t know. Why not tattoo somebody I know, you know?" Of course a tattoo isn't a wedding ring, but you have to admit that the process of tattooing someone's face on your arm must represent some type of intimacy.  Right?  Safaree now joins a long list of celebs like Jim Jones and Amber Rose who've inked personal declaration of love "faces" on their bodies. SPORTS: Minnesota Vikings Cornerback A.J. Jefferson DROPPED From Team, CRIMINAL CHARGES Filed For Allegedly STRANGLING Girlfriend Posted: 27 Nov 2013 12:07 PM PST   The Minnesota Vikings dropped cornerback A.J. Johnson from their lineup after cops charged him with domestic assault this week.  Get the deets on his arrest and charges inside....   The holiday season will be a little less "jolly" for Minnesota Vikings cornerback A.J. Johnson who was released from the team this week. A.J.'s dismissal comes on the heels of a domestic assualt charge brought by the Eden Prairie police department for allegedly strangling his girlfriend. According to TMZ and Hennepin County records, Jefferson was arrested on Monday at his home in Eden Prairie after his 23-year-old girlfriend reported that around 4:30 a.m., A.J. "grabbed her neck and she could not breath" and then "picked her up by the neck" and threw her off the bed.  The dispute was allegedly over her ignoring his text messages. A.J. was cut by the Vikings on Tuesday and is being held on $40,000 bail. Find out how Big Sean, Mike Epps, Meek Mill and a few others gave back inside.... On Tuesday, Big Sean and his foundation Sean Anderson Foundation partnered with Tarence Wheeler and Friends, including Mike Epps, to provide turkey baskets for families in the Metropolitan Detroit Area.   Mike tweeted, “Me and @ bigsean giving back in Detroit on the turkey drive ,what a great city!” In addition to the turkey drive, Sean also appeared at the Diehl Boys & Girls Club in Detroit on behalf of his Detroit non-profit Sean Anderson Foundation.   In Atlanta........ Rapper Young Jeezy was among the celebs who came out to support music exec and Atlanta tastemaker Shanti Das and her 2nd Annual “No Reservations Needed” Thanksgiving Dinner at the Atlanta Mission. For the community event, Shanti (shown above) brought out eight local barbers from some of Atlanta’s top barbershops came out to provide complimentary shampoos and haircuts while special guests of the evening were treated to a Thanksgiving dinner that included turkey, ham, stuffing, savory side dishes and sweet desserts. V103 personality Big Tigger and New Edition member Ronnie Devoe (along with wife Shamari Fears-DeVoe) also participated. While reflecting on the event's success, Shanti said, “God bless and thank you from the bottom of my heart to ALL that sponsored, donated, volunteered and served for the 2nd annual “No Reservations Needed” feeding at the Atlanta Mission. I am humbled by the support and grateful to God for my friends/colleagues and gracious strangers who helped." In Philadelphia..... MMG’s Meek Mill celebrated Thanksgiving by kicking off the 1st annual “A DREAMCHASER’S THANKSGIVING” in his hometown of Philadelphia yesterday. Meek was joined by Philly Mayor Michael Nutter for the two-day event that will aim to feed nearly 600 families within the Philadelphia community. Mayor Nutter said, “I applaud Meek Mill for taking the initiative to give back to his home town. Gathering together with family and friends around a shared meal is one of the most important aspects of the holiday season. It is important to give thanks for all that we have, and I am proud that one of Philadelphia’s own is donating his time and resources to make sure families in our city can do just that.” Meek added, “Philly raised me and made me into the man I am today, so to do the first annual ‘A Dreamchaser’s Thanksgiving,’ was an obvious thing to do. John Legend THROWS Chrissy Teigen A "Super Mario Bros" THEMED 28th Birthday Party! Posted: 27 Nov 2013 08:38 AM PST John Legend celebrated the birthday of his wife Chrissy Teigen with a "Super Mario Bros." themed bash in West Hollywood last night.  See the super cute party pics inside and find out what else John did while in Los Angeles. John Legend was very busy yesterday as he performed for hundreds of fans at Sony Crackle's Playing It Forward event in the Town Plaza of Culver City (in the LA area). John alerted his 5-million Twitter followers about the "impromptu"mid-day concert via social media and ended by tweeting, "Had a great time performing for Playing it Forward in Culver City!!"   After the Sony event..... John donned a curly wig and thick mustache to become Mario for a Nintendo/Super Mario Bros-themed birthdy bash for wife, Princess Chrissy Teigen. Chrissy and John looked adorable as Mario and Princess Peach.
