This weekend, Ashley Greene brought Joe Jonas with her to Jacksonville, Florida so he could Looks like the couple got cozy on Greene's parents' home turf! Former celebrity publicist Jonathan Jaxson spotted them making out at the local Ritz bar. Here's what he had to say about it:

Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling sat down to give a rare interview on The Oprah Winfrey Show, set to air Friday, in which she discusses coping with the fame her world-wide beloved series brought her, the pressure to please so many fans, and according to Scholastic, Inc., "the possibility of ever writing another Harry Potter book in the future." Rowling reveals:

Oh no! After falling ill during a a flight to Cleveland this morning, former President Jimmy Carter was rushed to hospital in the area. Thankfully, his reps report that he is resting comfortably now, but that he was ailing from a severe stomach ache while on board the plane. He's hoping to a speedy recovery, Mr. President! | Posted: 28 Sep 2010 12:10 PM PDT SERIOUSLY? Yet another high school student - this time in Iowa - was forced to turn his t-shirt inside out because it said "I Heart Lady GayGay" on it! At least the administrators realized that they were wrong in this situation, but we're still mortified that these kind of incidents are still happening in the world just because of the word "gay!" So shameful! Enough is enough! Bigotry and hate need to STOP. |

Eva, you're awesome! Eva Longoria's celebrity twitter auction has raised over $540,000 for disable children in Haiti. The auction was for celebrities to follow bidders on twitter and arranged for "one-of-a-kind meetings" for winning bidders. All proceeds went to www.ahomeinhaiti.org and will be used to rebuild The Miriam Center, which cares for children suffering from autism and cerebral palsy. So inspiring! [Image via Adriana M. The O.C. creator Josh Schwartz will once again work with Rachel Bilson, who will be the lead in his upcoming NBC series Ghost Angeles. The script hasn't been completed yet, but reports say that the story will We're not 100% sure that you want to emulate that show, but hey! The O.C. was a huge hit, so maybe you know what you're doing, Josh Schwartz. We're excited about the O.C. factor…not so much about the ghost whispering. Guess we'll see how this plays out. | Texas Teen Kills Himself After Years Of Gay Bullying Posted: 28 Sep 2010 11:40 AM PDT
This is just awful. Our heart truly breaks for this poor family. An eighth grade boy in Texas killed himself last week after years of bullying from his peers over his suspected sexuality. Asher Brown's family claims that he was "bullied to death," and that although they addressed their concerns with his school, Hamilton Middle School, administration did not intervene. School district spokeswoman Kelli Durham claims, however, that they received no bullying complaints from the family nor any students. His mother and stepfather, Amy and David Truong say:
The bullying of Brown allegedly went on for over two years, and escalated the day before his suicide when he was pushed down a flight of stairs and had his book bag kicked open. The following morning, Brown revealed to his stepfather that he was indeed gay, and although Truong "didn't condemn," that didn't stop the teen from using a 9mm Beretta to end his life later on during the day. He didn't leave a note. Truong says to her son's bullies:
This story leaves a massive pit in our stomach. That poor kid. We sincerely pray that this teen's story will force others to stop and think before they put someone else down for something as petty as sexual preference. NOBODY should feel less worthwhile than ANYONE ELSE, especially over that. And for any young people who feel confused, alone, and picked on over feelings that they probably don't even have a full grasp on yet, PLEASE try to keep your head held high and stay brave. We PROMISE you that it's not an easy journey, but you will get there, and be all the better for it in the long run! You will meet people who will LOVE you and ACCEPT you, just as you are, and you will be MILES beyond all of the people who once made you feel like there was something wrong with you. Just be patient! It GETS BETTER. Our deepest condolences to Brown's family and loved ones. |
| Oh No! Sean Penn's Haiti Settlement Torn Down By Storm! Posted: 28 Sep 2010 11:30 AM PDT
So sad! Following the devastating earthquake that shattered Haiti, Sean Penn put a lot of money and charity into creating a temporary settlement for those who were helping victims of the disaster. Unfortunately, his charity was spoiled as a storm over the weekend wrecked the entire place, destroying a hospital, pharmacy and many medical supplies. Sean and his team were forced to evacuate the camp and relocate to a club gymnasium in Port-au-Prince until the storm passed on Sunday. No injuries were reported. Poor things! Hopefully, they'll be able to get everything back up and running soon. With Sean's dedication, we're sure it won't take them long. Keep up the good fight, Sean! [Image via WENN.] |

We suppose that she looks pretty normal here - at least for her standards! Meg Ryan was spotted at the Metropolitan Opera last night for the production of Das Rheingold last night, and her face didn't look nearly as HOrrific as it usually does!
