Rachel McAdams finally covers up in Isabel Marant: cute or boring? Posted: 14 Jan 2011 11:02 AM PST We've had a lot of posts about Rachel McAdams and her need to hire a new stylist this week. Rachel and Harrison Ford have been on the Morning Glory publicity tour in Europe, otherwise known as "Rachel's fashion show of cheap-looking summer dresses". Part of the problem has been that many of us feel that Rachel should go a shade or two darker with her hair. We also think she should rethink her makeup, especially the lipstick shades and the gold eyeliner. But a large chunk of the problem is, to put it simply, the budget clothes. Anyway, these photos are of Rachel and Harrison in Paris today for the Morning Glory photo call (not the premiere). Rachel is wearing an Isabel Marant dress - this is the most covered-up she's been from the waist up all week. It's the most covered up, total, actually, considering that she's wearing black tights too. I have to admit, I have a great deal of affection for the patterned-dress and black-tights look - it's very 1990s. I used to wear stuff like this all of the time. When I was 19. It's a very "sophomore year at college, hang out at the coffeehouse" look. I'm not hating on it, I'm just saying it's a bit dated and once again, it's a bit too "young" of a look for a woman of 32. I get that Rachel looks younger, and she really is adorable and she's got a great, petite figure, BUT I would love to see her try some "I'm in my 30s and I'm business classy" looks. I great sheath dress, some pencil skirts and cashmere sweaters. A great pair of boots…and darker hair. This blonde crap isn't working. Photos courtesy of WENN.

Sigh… you know, I'm a hetersexual lady and everything, but Sofia just does it for me. I would not only go gay for a night with her, I would want to spend the rest of my life in Motorboat City. Too much information? I can't help it. More Sofia! Modern Family star Sofia Vergara still hasn't found a dress to wear to this Sunday's Golden Globes and is placing the blame on an unexpected culprit: Her show-stopping curves! The best supporting actress in television nominee took to Twitter Wednesday night to vent her fashion frustrations, posting a hilarious picture of her wrestling with an ill-fitting red frock. "Nothing fits meeee!!!! I'm not going to the Golden Globes!!!!!!!!," she Tweeted. This isn't the first time that the star has pointed to her feminine shape as being problematic with fashion, telling Access Hollywood in 2010, "I think because of the shape of my body I have learned to accept that I cannot just wear anything that is [in] fashion because…not everything, you know, fits." Healthy curves and a sense of humor? What could be more in style than that? Come back here Sunday night to see what Sofia and all the Golden Globes stars picked for the red carpet. I wonder if producers mind that she gives away future plotlines constantly? They probably mind for a minute, and then they take a look at her boobs and remember why they keep her around. John Travolta travels solo to New York for a store opening (re: spa dong) Posted: 14 Jan 2011 10:01 AM PST These are photos of John Travolta at a store opening event for Breitling, the watch company. John was flying solo last night - at least, no Kelly. I'm sure he picked someone up at the spa who could escort him however. Why waste his "I'm so fancy and I have a newborn baby" toupee. Speaking of baby Ben, John spoke to People Magazine about his boy: John Travolta has a little mini-me: baby boy Benjamin. “He looks like me,” Travolta, 56, tells PEOPLE of his bright blue-eyed 7-week-old son at the opening of the new Breitling flagship store in New York Thursday night. “He’s been great. One night, he actually slept seven hours – which is unbelievable!” The downside to having a newborn? Traveling – but only because he’s away from his little boy. Travolta was in Manhattan Thursday, while his family, including wife Kelly Preston and daughter Ella Bleu, 10, were home in Ocala, Fla. “I’ll be exactly gone 24 hours, and I miss him already,” says the proud dad, who will head to Berlin on Feb. 5, where he’ll be honored with the prestigious Golden Camera award for his movie work. After enduring the tragedy of losing son Jett in 2009, Travolta is again enjoying the simple pleasures of fatherhood. “I love holding him and feeding him,” he says of Ben. “My time is bottle time or when he’s contented and ready to be walked around and held or taken for a walk.” He adds: “Otherwise, he’s on Mom’s breast. So I have to be on call … hop in when it’s my turn.” [From People] Just the idea of John being "on call" when Ben isn't on Kelly's breast is fascinating. I mean… how is she breastfeeding if she was wearing a pillow all this time? Oh, right. SHE GAVE BIRTH, HATERS. Also, I love that the whole undercurrent of this is that John couldn't wait to fly to New York so that he wouldn't have his soul crushed any longer in the façade of his marriage. He was barely around while Kelly was pregnant - just a week before she "delivered" he was enjoying a tour of Australian spa dong (ALLEGEDLY). And I love that John showed up to appear at a store opening - the very definition of an event that could have easily been missed. Sigh… put another decade on the contract, Xenu.
