YBF Folks Hit The Clippers VS. Lakers Game

Actress Jurnee Smollett hit up some courtside seats with her Each One Teach One folks at last night's Clippers vs. Lakers game in L.A.  We've got pics of her and a few other celebs like Matt Kemp and Melody Thornton taking in the game when you read on...

Melody Thornton tapped into her Grease side to sing the National Anthem before tip-off.

Injured Laker Matt Barnes sat on the bench right next to L.A. Dodger baseballer Matt Kemp who was right behind him.

I wonder how life post-Rihanna is going....

And Laker superfans Ice Cube and his wife hit up the Staples Center.  Too bad the Lakers lost to the other home team.

AWARD SHOW FAB: 68th Annual Golden Globes Show & After Party Pics

Last night was a huge night in Hollywood as the 68th Annual Golden Globes aired and some of our most talented and beautiful YBF celebs walked the red carpet, presented awards on the show and hit the after parties.  See pics of Jennifer Lopez, Halle Berry, Blair Underwood, Eva Longoria, Vanessa Williams and others inside...

 

The 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards was held last night at the The Beverly Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills, CA.  And Alicia Keys looked fab in this red off-the-shoulder gown as she presented Black Swan as Best Picture Nominee. 

 

A dapper LL Cool J presented with Julie Bowen of ABC's "Modern Family."  LL was accompanied by his wife Simone and the couple sat near Diddy during the ceremony. 

Alec Baldwin arrived on stage with Jennifer Lopez who wore an all white Zuhair Murad gown with a sheer studded cape.


 

Halle Berry showed up on stage in a black spaghetti strap dress by Nina Ricci.  Add a few diamond bangles and earrings to match and you have a sexy look going on. 

Eva Longoria had that "newly single" glow as she rocked this simple Zac Posen gown.  She kept the jewelry to a minimum with an upswept hairdo and diamond earrings.

 

A stunning Vanessa Williams, in a nude sequined gown, presented with Blair Underwood, who seems to be aging like a fine wine. 

Our YBF chic Amber Riley wore a long silver Oliver Tolentino gown and posed with her "Glee" family who walked away with Best TV Series:  Comedy or Musical

 

 

After the 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards was held last night, many of our YBF celebs took off to the various parties being thrown by major studios like InStyle/Warner Bros., Fox Searchlight and NBC Universal.    

Al Roker attended the 2011 InStyle/WarnerBros. Golden Globe Party.

Also at the InStyle party was the cast of "Glee" along with Amber Riley.

Nicole Ari Parker and Boris Kodjoe posed for the photogs.

Seal and wife Heidi Klum also hit the InStyle event.

50 Cent posed with Marc Anthony...maybe a little too close.

Quinton Aaron walked the red carpet.

Sanaa Lathan looked great.  Loving this dress for her.  Stance is off but maybe she was just caught off guard.

Blair Underwood left his signature at the InStyle event.

TV reporter Shaun Robinson looked stunning in her sequined gown.


 

Sunrise Coigney, Mark Ruffalo and YBF chick Yaya Dacosta posed together at NBCUniversal/Focus Features Golden Globes Viewing and After Party.

Gabourey Sidibe kicked it at the Sony Pictures Classic Party after she left the FOX event.  

And the standout look of the after party scene was Jennifer Lopez's Marchesa party frock.  She completed the look with a Marchesa bag, Lorraine Schwartz jewels, and Christian Louboutin shoes.   Not everyone could pull this off.

ANOTHER ONE! Gucci Mane & Wacka Flocka Gear Up For A Reality Show?!

And the reality foolery continues.  Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka are in talks to get film their own reality show being shopped to BET.  Because we all need more smoke and shirtlessness and unrecognizable speech in our lives.

 

Deets when you read on....

Gucci Mane apparently wants to show off his interesting life for all to see.  And is doing so with his homie Wacka Flocka Flame.  The two rappers say they want to show that there is another side to the hardcore lifestyle they show in their lyrics...and they're not all hard. 

Trust us, we know.

“We show everyday life,” said Gucci while talking to RumorFix. “What we get into in [the] studio and at our shows. We just ordinary people with a crazy Rock N Roll lifestyle.”

“Because of the music we make, people think that’s what we do all the time -- but we got a real family life. We got heart. We do a lot of things for the community and we love each other.”

“I think they’ll get a laugh more than anything,” said Gucci about fans’ anticipated reaction to the show. “I’m not serious all the time. People think we are thugs because of our music.”

 

 

Wacka's mama Deb Antney will be a part of it as well.  And he better make this a speedy taping since he's facing more jail time after a probation violation this past December.  Sigh.  Will you be watching?

RED CARPET FAB: 68th Annual Golden Globes!

Award show season is officially in full swing. 

 

And Halle Berry came out swinging her damn self.  We've got pics of the nominee flaunting her killer gams on tonight's Golden Globe Awards red carpet at the Beverly Hilton in L.A., plus other YBF folks like Gabby Sidibe, Vanessa Williams, Jenny Lopez, Diddy, LL, Blair Underwood, and many others when you read on....

 

Let the fabulousness begin.  Ms. Berry, nominee for Best Actress in a Motion Picture, hit tonight's red carpet in a black Nina Ricci corseted dress with a sheer train.  While she looks damn hot in pretty much anything she wears, we can't help but think this dress would have been even more stunning with a thick opaque train, possibly taffeta.  Would have updated this Fall 2009 line dress a bit.

Still gorgeous nonetheless.

Gabourey Sidibe wore a colorful Marc Bouwer lavender metallic sparkly dress with interesting fall leaves covering the bottom half.  We're happy she steered clear of her usual floor length black or forest green dress, but we're not loving this dress.

Eva Longoria rocked this back cut-out Zac Posen black gown.  Fit her bod perfectly and was great for the occasion.  She topped it off with a black and silver diamond belt.

"Glee" star Amber Riley hit the carpet in this one-shoulder silver metallic Oliver Tolentino gown.  Great color that pops on her skin tone and she cinched her waist with a contrasting wide black belt to create a silhouette.  Fab.

Diddy never disappoints in his tuxes.  From what we can see, he looks dapper as usual.

"Moden Family" actress Sofia Vergara hit the carpet in this eye catching red gown with a coreseted back by Vera Wang. 

Actor and investor Robert De Niro, who received the Cecil B. DeMille Award for lifetime achievement tonight, walked the carpet with wife Grace Hightower.  Lovely white long sleeved drapey Donna Karen gown for her.  She's working the longer hair and chic look for this.

Vanessa Williams looked stunning in her blush floor length perfectly tailored one-shoulder sequined gown.  Makeup and hair and minimal neutral earrings are perfect.  Loves this look for her.

Shaun Robinson has really been turning up her fab factor lately.

She rocked this gorgeous dark silver metallic one sleeved gown with a short train on the red carpet.  And topped off the glitz with a sparkly clutch and oversized diamond earrings.

Seal got detailed with his shoe game on the carpet with his wife Heidi Klum who was in Marc Jacobs Spring 2011.

LL Cool J looks like his face hasn't move in 5 years.  Still looks good though.  But his wife Simone really could have chosen a different dress. Not her most flattering moment.

One of our red carpet faves Jennifer Lopez didn't disappoint.  She hit the carpet with her hubby Marc in this elegant white gown and sheer jeweled cape designed by Zuhair Murad for the Spring 2011 line.  The slit in the front, in addition to her being draped in jewels, sets the look off.

Effortless look for her.  We probably wouldn't have liked this ensemble on anyone else.  But Jenny pulls it off nicely.

She topped off her look with the sparkly "Marlena Strass" Louboutins.  Fabulous.

"The Event" actor Blair Underwood hit the carpet with his wife Desiree tonight.  Gorgeous couple indeed.

EVENT FAB: Celebs Head to Hollywood for the Pre-Golden Globe Festivities

This weekend, celebs flooded to Hollywood to celebrate events in honor of the Golden Globe Awards. We have pics of the fabulous celebrities that racked up the gifting suits and attended brunches to kick of the start of the award season...

At the 2011 Film Independent Spirit Awards Filmmaker Grant And Nominee Brunch in L.A. yesterday, Kimora and her hubby Dijimon looked stunning as usual:

Kanye West's "Twisted Fantasy" Goes Platinum + VH1's "Single Ladies" Sneak Peek

It's an exciting week for Kanye West as he received news that his album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy has gone platinum. Get the deets inside plus watch sneak peeks of the LisaRaye and Stacey Dash sitcom "Single Ladies" and Jennifer Lopez's video for the single "Good Hit" inside...
 

 

Since its release eight weeks ago, Kanye’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy has officially moved a million units, making this his fifth platinum studio LP.  Well deserved.  Congrats to Yeezy!

 

 

 

With the phenomenal success of BET's "The Game," it's only natural that other networks add more scripted series to their lineups. Now, VH1 has released the trailer to their upcoming 2-hour series premiere event 'Single Ladies,' a comedic drama about women and relationships starring Charity Shea, Stacey Dash, and LisaRaye McCoy.

The show is produced by Queen Latifah's Flavor Unit Entertainment and follows three best friends with three different relationship philosophies living in Atlanta.  The show was originally shot as a movie in the summer of 2010, but VH1 liked it so much that they decided it needed to be a new television series.

 

Watch the preview here:

 

Airing Monday, May 30th at 9 PM ET/PT on VH1, this will be the network's first hour-long scripted show. Lauren London and others are set to make appearances.
 

 

 

And Jennifer Lopez fans are about to get some new music from the "American Idol" judge. J-Lo has released a sneak peek of her video for the single "Good Hit."

 

Watch it here:

 

The song will appear on Jenny's new album LOVE which is set to drop early this year.  She looks hot in the vid as usual. Can't wait to see the finished product.
