GLEE-Hee Wins The Night For FOX In The Ratings!

Posted: 01 Feb 2012 01:10 PM PST

The magic touch of the studded glove never fails!

It was a winning Tuesday night for FOX as the network topped in the ratings, thanks to the heavily promoted (and totally enjoyable) Michael Jackson episode of Glee!

The series saw a nice rise in numbers, scoring a a 3.6 among adults 18-49 and matched their current season high in total viewers: 9 million Gleeks! Nice!

Of course, New Girl lent a hand in the boost as well, rising a tenth of a point for a 3.5 in the demo to tip the scales just that much more in the networks favor!

Solid! Here's hoping Ricky Martin can do the same for you guys next week!

No Suicide Note Found At Don Cornelius's Home

Posted: 01 Feb 2012 12:50 PM PST

Law enforcement agents state that Don Cornelius did not leave a suicide note before his death.

It has been said that the Soul Train creator had been suffering for health problems that affected his life for years.

The pain was said to be excruciating and unbearable.

Sad. We hope he found peace in his own way.

Aaron And Nick Carter Grieve The Death Of Their Sister

Posted: 01 Feb 2012 12:30 PM PST

Such a sad, sad day.

Earlier, we learned the twenty-five year old sister of Aaron and Nick Carter had passed away.

No details as of yet. But we've been thinking about Leslie (pictured middle above) all day! With the news so sudden and shocking, both of Leslie's celebrity brothers are mourning in complete sorrow.

Nick isn't scheduled to tour until Spring with the Backstreet Boys, so he has some time to process it before returning to his professional responsibilities.

He says:

Performing is cathartic to me, and I am dedicating the rest of my tour to my sister since she loved to watch me perform.

But as for Aaron, he's in the middle of his off-Broadway run with The Fantasticks. Devastated, he's taking a few days off and letting his understudy perform in his place.

Fantasticks spokesperson John Capo comments:

His Fantasticks family loves him and offers him support and prayers during this difficult time. Aaron's understudy and friend, Matt Leisy, will be covering Aaron's role until his return. We thank everyone for the outpouring of concern for Aaron.

So so sad.

But we know the family and the boys have immense support right now and ours as well!!

Next Week, On Glee…

Posted: 01 Feb 2012 12:20 PM PST

Shake our bon-bon, because Ricky Martin is here!!!

Or at least, he's coming!

We're ECSTATIC to announce that next week, Mr. Martin is taking to the halls of McKinely High School as the new Spanish Teacher on GLEE.

Sure, it's going to cause a bit of friction between Will and the studly Ricky, but if someone has a problem with that, then we're not sure why they are still watching the show!

Also, NeNe Leakes is back! YES!!!

Check out the promo (above) to see what's coming next week on Glee.

Michelle Obama Hits Up The Tonight Show! Talks About Hubby's Singing Voice!

Posted: 01 Feb 2012 12:00 PM PST

Michelle Obama is one lucky lady!

The first lady appeared on The Tonight Show last night, and during her interview, discussed her husband Barack Obama's recent rendition of Al Green's Let's Stay Together during a fundraiser in New York, and revealed to Jay Leno that she gets treated to his sweet vocal stylingz all the time!

And what does she have to say about Mitt Romney's attempt at America the Beautiful while campaigning in Florida?

Ch-ch-check out the interview (above)!

Classy as always - but she still manages to be absolutely HIGHlarious!

P.S. We propose a Romney/Obama sing-off! Winner gets to be President! Ha!

The CW Picks Up New Dramas From J.J. Abrams, Mark Harmon, And Vampire Diaries Producers!

Posted: 01 Feb 2012 11:50 AM PST

Wowsa! Between these new show pickups and that Gossip Girl 100th episode shocker, it's been an exciting couple of days for The CW!

In the latest big move by CW president Mark Pedowitz, the network has picked up three new hourlong drama shows: J.J. Abrams' Shelter, Mark Harmon's Joey Dakota, and The Selection from Vampire Diaries producers Elizabeth Craft and Sarah Fain.

Here's how Abrams' Shelter is being described:

"[It is] set at an historic New England summer resort where the new and returning staff attend to the practical, emotional and often comical needs of the guests while navigating friendships, rivalries and romances of their own."

And here's how Harmon's Joey Dakota is being described:

"The romantic-time travel musical revolves around a documentary filmmaker who travels back in time to the 1990s where she meets and falls in love with the rock star subject of her film. When she unexpectedly returns to present day, she must find her way back to the past to reunite with her love and prevent his untimely death."

AND here's how the VD producers' The Selection is being described:

"...An epic romance set 300 years in the future. The project...centers on a poor young woman who is chosen by lottery to participate in a competition to become the next queen of a war-torn nation at a crossroads."

Sounds like a VERY intriguing roster of new shows! Keep up the good work, Prez Pedowitz! We're liking the direction in which UR bringing the network!!!

What do U think? Will U check out these new CW dramas when they premiere???
