Because watching grown women throw bottles of wine on the small screen wasn't enough, "Basketball Wives" producer Shaunie O'Neal has teamed with Tracey Edmonds to producing a full-fledged movie about women dating basketball players.  Deets inside.....

 

"BBW" exec producer Shaunie O'Neal has teamed with friend Tracey Edmonds and Fox Searchlight to create a movie about a fictional basketball wife/girlfriend.  

The project centers around a young woman who follows her boyfriend to Miami after he gets drafted into the NBA. Thrust into the world of professional sports, she meets the other players' wives and learns from their trials and tribulations.  Sounds like "The Game" but a movie version centered around basketball instead of football.

Tracey told VARIETY, "The beauty of a feature film is that we'll have the ability to dig much deeper into the stories and characters that come from this very colorful world and create a very juicy, action-packed narrative." She added that Shaunie reached out about the project via Twitter.

The movie will be penned by Jumping The Broom writer Elizabeth Hunter, while Glendon Palmer and Phil Robinson will executive produce.  

Hmm....this could go either way.  it could be like Love & Basketball OR go left and be about a "chick like Evelyn" meets a baller and has several fights along the way. 

Don't we already know the answer though...

Monica and Brandy colorfully cover the June 2012 issue of EBONY Magazine where they dish on their lives and new albums, Monica's New Life and Brandy's Two-Eleven.

Brandy on the status of her relationship with her boyfriend:
I wish we were engaged. He’s taking a little long on the ring side of things, but I’m patient. I wanted to impress him. I wanted him to be proud of me; I was inspired by him. So making the record and his being there, it’s just all a part of it. Him and my daughter. I want him to love my songs. I want him to love my voice.


On rumors about her brother Ray J:
I know who he is. And I”m pissed off about some of the things I’ve been hearing. It really bothers me that [those are] the kind of things that people do for money.
He’s misunderstood. It’s one thing to have this image of [a ladies' man], but it’s another to become this other type of person that they’re trying to make my brother out to be. I know who he is. This is a man who loves his mama and his sister and his niece. Ray J loved Kim Kardashian. They were irresponsible with their–you know–but he loved her. For five years, he was with her. In his mind and in the world’s mind, he was in my shadow for such a long time. To watch his sister become whatever I became and to not have that same path or that same way it happened for me; to be called ‘Brandy’s brother…’ To finally break out of it, you’re going to brag; you’re going to feel something about yourself. It’s not coming from a bad place, and I can tell you: Some of the shoes Ray J’s walking in, you’d take off immediately. You wouldn’t be able to handle the type of shoes he’s in.

Rihanna hit the strip club last night to party on her "Rockstar" ish in NYC.  See pics of Rihanna making it rain on ~classy~ stripper booty inside...

Last night Rihanna came out with a pocket full of singles and blessed a few young ladies who gave her a raunchy performance at a strip club in NYC.  Licking, dancing & all that jazz went dowm

The evening was flowing...with liquor...as RiRi tweeted, “My n***a I'm faded...And I don't give a ph**k!”

And after her "show" she posted pics saying, "Best stress reliever = $tripper$. Kill it Tip it... ROCstars**t my daddy would be proud... RoleModelS**t."

That Rihanna.....she is so shocking.....

Christina Milian is DENIM Magazine's new cover girl.  The 30-year-old Cuban cutie is rocking a colorful look including a sheer chartreuse blouse and royal blue pants for the cover.  Check out her pics, plus her take on balancing mommyhood with her new job over at "The Voice" and what she needs from her next man...

The gorgeous singer/actress shows off her petite curves in a set of pics for the May 2012 Spring Beauty issue of DENIM Magazine.  Here's highlights from her cover interview where dishes on her current relationship with her ex-husband The Dream, mommyhood, & her day job:

DENIM: How are you balancing the many faucets of your career and being a mommy?
CM: #TeamNoSleep – that’s what I live by! I have a nanny and family to help and I try to bring Violet everywhere I can.

DENIM: What’s a day in the life of Christina Milian?
CM: Wake up, bathe and feed Violet, answer emails and business questions with my Mother. Then I work out, head to meetings, and later have a glass of wine with my girlfriends. After that, I head home and continue business and mommy-hood until the day ends. Maybe even go to the studio- late.

DENIM: Post divorce, how is your relationship with The Dream?
CM: He and I are cool now. We have a good rapport with each other and are focused on Violet living a happy life.

DENIM: Spin the threads. Are you currently dating? Are you looking to re-marry someday?
CM: Not into dating. I don’t want to waste time on someone else to break my heart, take up my time or even deal with another character. I’m happy being a mom and staying focused. NO DRAMA!

DENIM: If you decided to start dating, what characteristics in a man do you find attractive?
CM: Humble, funny, focused and can communicate well. He’s got to be interesting!

DENIM: Congratulations on your new role for the 2nd season of The Voice! What exactly is that role and do you have any expectations? What can we [viewers] expect?
CM: I’m the host of all their web connects- from Facebook to Twitter to my own personal “Voice” blog.

BREAKING: 4-ALARM BLAZE Breaks Out At Tyler Perry Studios!

Firefighters in Atlanta are battling a 4-alarm blaze that broke out at Tyler Perry Studios around 9pm this evening. Deets inside....

 

Around 9pm this evening, Atlanta fire officials began battling a  4-alarm blaze at Tyler Perry Studios.

Atlanta Fire Department spokesman Capt. Jolyon Bundrige says there have been no immediate reports of injuries and the cause of the fire was not known.  He added, "One building [stage 5] on the Tyler Perry Studio lot has, partially, collapsed due to fire damage."

The studio, which Tyler opened in 2006,  includes a 200,000-square-foot studio, five sound stages and a 400-seat theater in southwest Atlanta.

SPOTTED: Rihanna GOES MAKEUP-FREE In A T-shirt And Jeans In NYC

Rihanna was seen strolling through NYC sans makeup earlier this morning. See the makeup free pics of a dressed down Rihanna inside....

 

Somedays.....a girl just needs to relax.

And earlier today, Rihanna was spotted NYC wearing a t-shirt and jeans, no makeup AND flats!

She tweeted about her East Side stroll saying, It's.... East side!!!! We in diz bitch!!!!

Her t-shirt was an $80 Ksubi shirt (they are based in Australia) that said  'If I was riding a horse I'd wear flannel but I'm going to the disco so I wear Channel."

Being the down-to-earth diva she is, she still took time to sign autographs.

 

However.........

 

After her earlier stroll, Rihnna did return to the street later in the afternoon.....in makeup!

But she still kept it casual with some sneakers and ripped stockings.

Nicki Minaj has announced the North American dates for her "Pink Friday" tour.  Get the deets inside and watch a sneak peek of VH1's Notorious B.I.G. "Behind The Music."

 

Barbz in North America should get ready to see their idol live as she has announced upcoming tour dates.  Kicking off of on July 17 at the Chicago Theatre, 15-stop tour goes through August 12 in Vancouver.   

In addition to the tour, she'll show up  May 10th at KYLD's "WiLD Jam 2012, which will also feature E-40, Gym Class Heroes, B.o.B. and Neon Hitch.

Then she'll swing by the KPWR concert in Los Angeles on May 12, the WRDR show in Philly on June 1, the WJMN gig in Boston on June 2, the Hot 97 Summer Jam in New York on June 3 and WZMX's July 20 show in Hartford.

Legendary beauty Naomi Campbell is heading to reality tv as a coach on Oxygen's "The Face."  Get the deets inside and find out about Usher performing at The Billboard Awards and fighting with Tameka Raymond in court.

 

Naomi Campbell has been announced as one of the supermodel coaches for a new reality show headed to Oxygen.  "The Face," a new reality competition series, will star female models vying to become the spokesperson for a nationally recognized brand.

Naomi will be joined two other well-known supermodels who will scout and choose their teams from aspiring young models all over the world before guiding them through assignments including photo shoots, runway shows and commercials for some of America's best known brands.

Throughout the series, the supermodel coaches will mentor these young hopefuls through the tricks of the trade while exposing them to the very best photographers, stylists and designers in the fashion world. In the end, one girl will be chosen to become 'The Face' of a major national brand, earning a real contract as the brand ambassador.

"'The Face' is a fresh new series that delivers all the elements our audience craves: fashion, beauty and drama," said Rod Aissa, Senior Vice President, Original Programming and Development, Oxygen Media. He added: "Oxygen has been looking for the next ideation in the modeling genre and this project delivers it."

Usher has been added to the list of acts that will perform at the  2012 Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas on May 20, 8p.m. ET on ABC. Other performers include Justin Bieber, Cee Lo Green, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, LMFAO, Linkin Park, and The Wanted. 

But Usher had another performance today.....in an Atlanta courtroom.  As he prepares his Looking for Myself album (June 12) Usher showed up for a courtroom battle with ex-wife Tameka Raymond....looking for an agreement.  

The ex-duo are STILL fighting over child support and a temporary custody agreement in private mediation.   If they don't make an agreement soon, a judge will likely step in.

TV FAB: Kelly Rowland QUITS "X-Factor" + John Legend SIGNS ON For ABC's "Duets"

R&B starlet Kelly Rowland won't be returning to the UK's version of "X Factor" next year. Get the deets inside and also find out about John Legend replacing Lionel Richie on "Duets."

 

Kelly Rowland has made it official that she will not return as a judge on the U.K. version of The "X Factor" this summer.  A spokesperson for the BBC said, 

"Kelly has not been able to agree a deal that fits into her autumn/winter schedule, so sadly cannot accept a place on the 2012 panel."

But the word on the street is that Kelly didn't get offered the type of money she wanted.  Sigh......

 

In other music news....

John Legend has been added the the cast of ABC's "Duets."  The singer, who is replacing Lionel Richie, joins Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Nettles and Robin Thicke on the upcoming summer series. 

Hmmm....it could be good to see John and Robin do a few duets throughout the course of the show.
