TV FAB: Keri Hilson Goes All Glam For "The Late Show With David Letterman"

Keri Hilson dropped by "The Late Show With David Letterman" last night.  Did chick just watch Dreamgirls or something?   We've got the pics and video of her performance inside...

 

Ms. Keri was channeling either Diana Ross/Deena Jones from Dreamgirls or another fabulous lady from those days last night as she performed on David Letterman's show yesterday. 

Her arrival outfit was simple enough.  But she later kicked it into high gear...

She hit the stage to perform "Pretty Girl Rock."


 

Before the performance Keri tweeted “Watch as I tip my hat to one of my favorite classics.” 

 
 

Not gonna lie.  She is rocking that vintage look though and looks great doing so.

Foxy Brown's Long-Time Manager Dumps Her And Threatens To Sue, Says She Is "Self-Destructive"

Foxy Brown has been dumped by her long-time manager who calls her "self-destructive" and vows to sue the rapper for $100,000. Deets inside...

 

Troubled rapper Foxy Brown has been dumped by her manager, Bernadette Brennan (pictured above) over her recent rant on Twitter.   

Bernadette told the NY Daily News,

"It's always sad when an artist has everything they need at their fingertips but still displays such self-destructive behavior.  I hope she gets the help she needs.  I was one of the few people in her corner."

Foxy recently denounced Bernadette as a "fake manager," despite Bernadette bailing Foxy out of jail for last summer's mooning incident and Bernadette supporting Foxy after a July meltdown when Foxy tried to attack her.

Bernadette now says she plans to sue Foxy for costing her more than $100,000 in studio fees, among other expenses.

So far, Foxy has not released a statement about the split.

Toni Braxton Ready To Un-Break Her Bank With PLAYBOY?+Montell Williams Caught with A DRUG PIPE?!

This for damn sure won't relieve her of her $50 million debt, but Toni Braxton is heavily considering her third offer to do a Playboy cover and spread.  Find out how she revealed on Twitter just how much she would reveal, olus news on Montell Williams getting busted with a drug pipe in Wisconsin when you read on...

The 43-year-old Ms. Braxton took to Twitter this week to ask her fans what they thought about her heavily considering stripping off her clothes and doing Playboy.  She's been offered the opportunity twice before, and maybe the third time will be the charm.

Toni says she will keep it tasteful (don't they all say this?) if she says yes, and she also wants to pose with Hugh Hefner himself.  According to Black Voices:

Having recently filed for bankruptcy, perhaps Braxton is trying to use her physical assets to recoup some of her financial losses. She certainly wouldn't be the first. In October, the 43-year-old singer filed for bankruptcy for the second time in her career. According to court documents, Braxton states that she is worth between $1 million and $10 million, with debts of up to $50 million.

After what were likely concerned responses from her followers, Braxton told them that the photos would be tasteful (just a little T & A she added). She also tweeted that she'd like to pose with Hugh Hefner and proclaimed him the sexiest man over 30. Hef is likely hoping that the third time is the charm, since Toni claims she's been approached to pose for the mag twice before. Perhaps the timing is right since the spread might help the the public focus on something other than her financial woes and the lackluster sales of her most recent album, 'Pulse.' It will likely spur interest in her new reality show as well.

Yeah...posing nekkid isn't about to put a dent in this $50 mill she needs.  Neither is that reality show. But maybe it'll make her feel better for a few weeks.  She may want to just file for bankruptcy for the umpteenth time and/or marry VERY rich.  Because her touring and album sales aint gonna cut it either.

Uh oh!  Advocate of medical marijuana, Montell Williams, was busted in Milwaukee, Wisconsin yesterday for having a drug pipe at the airport.

Now we all know Montell has Multiple Sclerosis, and likely has a license for medical marijuana, but clearly not in the state of Wisconsin.  TMZ reports dude tried to walk through airport security with the pipe in his carry-on, and was held in custody once it was discovered. 

The cops said he acted very calm and cooperative.  Maybe because he had just lit one up.  But no residue was found.  Montell paid a $484 citation and was released.

ON THE SET: New YBF Chick Tika Sumpter Films Scenes For "Gossip Girl"

New cast member Tika Sumpter was spotted filming scenes for "Gossip Girl".  That show finally has some color on it....with speaking parts.  We have pics for you inside...

 

As we reported earlier, actress Tika Sumpter has joined the cast of "Gossip Girl" where she will play the role of Raina, the smart and savvy daughter of Russell Thorpe, played by Michael Boatman, a powerful business tycoon.  

Tika went on recurring status for her previous full time gig as Layla on the daytime soap "One Life To Live" so that she could take on this new role:
 

Tika was spotted filming scenes with co-star Chace Crawford in NYC.

She looks cute, but hopefully her clothes get more fab as the rest of the cast usually looks fly to death.  "Gossip Girl" returns January 24th on the CW.  Woot!

ENGAGED: Sherri Shepherd About To Become A "Newlywed"!

Looks like Vivica Fox and Slimm weren't the only ones to get engaged on the day after Christmas.  "The View" co-host and "The Newlywed Game"'s new host, Sherri Shepherd, copped some diamonds of her own.

 

Read on for deets of how her man Lamar popped the question, and how he asked the man in Sherri's life for her hand in marriage....

If y'all watch "The View" religiously every morning like I do, you know Sherri's been celibate since shortly after her divorce from her cheating husband, Jeff Tarpley.  She was waiting until she got a man and got married.  And now she can get some nooki. 

She's been dating tv writer Lamar Sally for a while now and was introduced to him by her BFF Niecy Nash--who recently became engaged herself.

Lamar asked Sherri's 5-year-old son Jeffrey Jr. for permission.  How sweet!  People.com reports:

"Upon arriving back to Lamar's home in Los Angeles from a trip to San Diego, Sherri was surprised to find their accommodations had been decorated with lights by one of Sal's best friends, her dog was wearing a Santa beard and hat, and, in the middle of a dish of Sherri's favorite but forbidden M&M's (she is diabetic), was a tiny little box," the statement says.

Before Sally popped the question, he sought permission from Shepherd's 5-year-old son, Jeffrey, with a little encouragement in the form of Michael Jackson's The Experience Wii game. "With that, Sal took a knee and, backed up by the King of Pop, popped the question," the statement continues.

Aww.  The couple is planning an August wedding in Sherri's hometown of Chicago. We'll see her ring and hear more details about the engagement on January 10th when "The View" returns.  And we can finally stop hearing about how horny this chick is on the daily.  Cheers!

A fresh faced Beyonce was spotted leaving a meeting in NYC in all her biker chic fabulousness.  See the pics inside....

 

Beyonce looked Biker chic in studded leggings from the Dereon collection (you know, the ones she was accused of jacking the design for), boots and a leather jacket while being escorted by her bodyguard through NYC.  

She's looking super slim these days.

Swizz Beatz Spends QT With His 2 Year Old Daughter Nicole, Releases Behind The Scenes Footage With Alicia Keys For "Speechless"

Remember all the drama with the Russian singer who lives in London named Jahna Sebastian, who claimed for several months that Swizz Beatz was the father of her daughter?  Meaning he was getting it in with homegirl while he was married to Mashonda (and while he was messing with Alicia as well).

Rapper's Delight: Gucci Mane Committed to Mental Hospital+Method Man's New Movie+Master P.'s Daughter Cymphonique Gets Own Sitcom

Gucci Mane has been committed to a mental facility.  Get the deets inside, plus news on Method Man's new comedy movie and Master P's daughter landing her own sitcom.

 

 

We told you earlier that the judge in Gucci Mane's case involving the raid on Waka Flocka Flame's home suggested he go back to jail after letting him go free with no charges last month. But now it gets a bit deeper.  Seems as though Gucci has been placed in a mental facility.
 

According to TMZ, yesterday Gucci Mane appeared in a Georgia courtroom where he filed papers saying he was not mentally competent to fight the prosecutors' efforts to revoke his probation. 

A judge ordered Gucci into custody, where he was committed to a mental health treatment facility pending an evaluation of his mental condition.  Not icy.
 

Method Man fans will see him and all his fineness return to the big screen on July 15, 2011 in a new movie with comedian/actor Jonah Hill called The Sitter.

The movie is about a college dropout, played by Jonah, who has to take the three kids he’s babysitting across town with him while he’s buying drugs for his girlfriend. The movie also stars Sam Rockwell and comedian J.B. Smoove.  Any movie Jonah is in is hilarious.  And Meth is pretty damn good himself.  Should be a good one.

 

And coming to the small screen, Master P's daughter Cymphonique Miller has landed her own Nickelodeon sitcom called, "How to Rock Braces and Glasses."  Cymphonique will play Kacey, a girl who was popular until she has to get braces for her teeth and has to wear glasses. 

Cymphonique follows in the footsteps of big brother Romeo who also had his own show on Nickelodeon.  Nick always needs more black stars for the kids to observe and enjoy.  Congrats.
