"The Game" Makes Its Premiere BET Debut+Cast Hits "106" & Premiere Party

BET has found themselves a hit.  Finally.  Last night, "The Game" made it's comeback after a two year cancellation hiatus.  And it was worth the wait.

 

Check out pics from their promo at "106 & Park" and premiere party yesterday in NYC.  Plus, dish to us on what you loved and hated about last night's premiere episode....

 

Wendy Raquel Robinson dropped it like it's hot for the "106 & Park" kids yesterday.  The whole cast hit up the show to do some promo for "The Game".  And, of course, Tasha Mack's new boo Terrence/Dante' got his pub on for his own show. 

Speaking of this new tv relationship b/w Tasha and Terrence/Dante--anybody else felt awkward  watching TJ come out in just his nekkidness in that towel and get it in with Tasha?  Goodness.

So here's a quick recap of what we loved and hated. 

LOVED: The whole damn show.  The story line picked up 2 years after it left off and it flowed.  Melanie/Tia's looking fantabulous.  The drama was in the first 5 minutes with that sneaky and trifling paternity test Mel decided to do on Derwin's baby.  And it backfired.  LOVED THIS MAURY POVICH ISH.

Loved Tasha Mack smoking a Black while walking down the street.  Loved the foolery of Malik blatantly and openly cheating with the team owner's wife Meagan Good.  Somehow we feel like this ish happened in real life with these very people in some way.  Loved TT and his fried chicken truck.  OF COURSE he has a fried chicken truck. 

HATED: So Jason and Kelly's daughter Brittany's just going to be a grown ass woman now after only 2 years of being away?  They worse than soap operas with that one.  WHO was in charge of the laugh track?  Decide if you want it or not because that mug sounded very indecisive. Hated whoever cast Sheree' Whitfield.  How you have one line and do the WORST job in the entire 1 hour episode?  Hated the fact I got into an hour long debate on whether Mel was right or wrong for that down low ish she pulled.  Oh wells.

Terrence and Roci chatted up the cast.

Over at last night's launch party at Butter:

Creators Mara Brock Akil and Selam Akil kicked it with stars of the show Hosea Chanchez and Terrence J.

The oddest couple on tv--Wendy Raquel Robinson and TJ.

The cast got emotional after speeches and sweet words were said.

Loving Tia Mowry's pregnancy glow.

Fabulous.

Sherri Shepherd was there.

Larry Johnson was there.

And Rocsi was there too, of course.

Fab times.  Anxiously awaiting next Monday night....

Amber Rose Shops For A New Tricked Out Car + Amber, Whoopi, Drake & Chris Brown's NY Knicks Campaign

The "other" Barbie, Amber Rose, is in the market for a new car and she took some of her friends out with her for a test drive.

Paps spotted Amber Rose out with her sister and some girlfriends shopping for a new car at Platinum Motorsports in West Hollywood yesterday while her reality show cameras rolled.  


 

  

She's all smiles with her sister Theany in this luxury vehicle.  Not sure if she's her real sis, but this is what she told the paps on the scene.

Hmmm...wonder did she drive off the lot in something...or was this just window shopping for a photo op?

 

In other Amber news...

Ms. Rose is joining Drake, Tracy Morgan, Donald Trump, Liam Neeson, Whoopi Goldberg and Chris Brown in a video produced by DJ Steve Porter going live tomorrow at voteknicks.com to get fans to vote for Knicks for the NBA All-Star team.  Well isn't that...special.

BIRTHDAY FAB: Mashonda & Her Reality Show Friends Celebrate Her B-Day In NYC

This weekend, WEEN founder, Valeisha Butterfield, hosted a private birthday dinner party and toast for her good friend and VH1's new reality show Love and Hip Hop star, Mashonda, at the swanky La Petite Maison restaurant in NYC.

 

A few of Mashonda's closest friends were on hand to help her celebrate, including BET's Alesha Renee, Mashonda's co-star and Faboulous' girlfriend Emily Bustamante, Power 105's Angela Yee, and Valeisha's NBA boo Dahntay Jones.  Pics when you read on...

Mashonda celebrated by having a Swizzy/Alicia Keys drama-free night, looking fabulous, and chowing down on some cutesy cupcakes and other yummies.  I wonder if she and Evan Cosby's ex-husband are still kickin' it.

Mashonda's girls Emily B. and Valeisha got fab for the event.

Valeisha's baller boo Dahntay came out to party.

And Angela Yee, Alesha Renee, and others were there too.  Fab times I'm sure.  Happy birthday Mashonda!

Look What Shyne Is Up To...

Remember rapper Shyne Barrows?  You know...the "Bad Boyz" rapper who was signed to Bad Boy and arguably took the decade long jail sentence wrap for a shooting involving Diddy.  He was immediately shipped off to Belize (where his father is prime minister) as part of his early release agreement October 2009.

 

But now...he's traded in the beaches for Jerusalem.  Pics and deets when you read on...

 

 

Shyne was spotted lighting a cigar before the world premiere of his short films, "Roller Song" and "The Original" at a press conference in Jerusalem, Israel, yesterday.

Today, Shyne lives as Moses Levi, an Orthodox Jew in Jerusalem where he studies Talmud. He will soon release two new albums, "Messiah" and "Gangland" in a joint venture with Def Jam Records.

Wow.  Things can change so much so fast....

After spending yesterday in the studio with Maxwell and Alicia Keys, Mary J. Blige is celebrating her big 40th birthday today. 

 

The wife, mom, actress, singer, philanthropist, and entertainer has come a LONG way since her "What's The 4-1-1" days....and we've loved, laughed, cried, and enjoyed every bit of her journey.  HAPPY 40TH BIRTHDAY MJB! *tippin' a neckbone and champagne*

We thought we noticed a little bumpaliciousness under Tia Mowry's dresses these past couple of weeks.  And reportedly, she and her hubby Cory Hardrict have confirmed, a baby is on the way!

 

Read on for deets...

A new season of her show, a semi-new marriage (she's been a wife for 2 years), and now...a new BABY!  "The Game" co-star has confirmed that she and her husband Cory Hardrict are indeed 3 months pregnant.  The couple are also set for their own reality show on Style network documenting their pregnancy journey.

Us Weekly reports:

The baby will be the first child for Mowry, 32, and her hubby of two years, Battle: Los Angeles actor Cory Hardrict, 31, and the pregnancy will be documented by the Style Network for a show to air later this year.

Loves it!

Mashonda And Emily B To Star In VH1 Reality Show "Love & Hip Hop"

Swizz Beatz ex-wife Mashonda has landed a starring role in VH1's latest reality show "Love & Hip Hop" about women in the music industry.  She will be joined by Fabolous' girlfriend and son's mother Emily Bustamente, and former "First Lady of G-Unit" Olivia.  Deets inside....

 

VH1 (shocker) has announced its latest reality show called "Love & Hip Hop", and it's about women in the entertainment industry.  The show will star singer and ex-wife of Swizz Beatz, Mashonda Tifere, along with rapper Jim Jones' girlfriend Christine "Chrissy" Lampkin, Fabolous' girlfriend Emily Bustamente, former "First Lady of G-Unit" Olivia, and Latin music artist Somaya Reece.

We will get to see the women balance personal relationships, motherhood and making it in the entertainment industry.   When asked about the show, Mashonda said, "The show is about strength and womanhood. I'm excited about the show and the women on it."

Hmmm....wonder if Swizz will make an appearance or if the whole Alicia Keys thing is up for discussion on the show? 

"Love & Hip Hop" premieres Monday, March 21 on VH1.  Get ya popcorn ready....
