It's on! We are VERY excited to report that Madonna's directorial debut W.E. has been picked up by The Weinstein Company for U.S. distribution. As a reminder, the film's story is about "a modern-day New Yorker obsessed with the royal love story between Britain's King Edward VIII and American divorcee Wallis Simpson." The film was directed/co-written by Madge, and it stars Limitless' Abbie Cornish, Secret Diary of a Call Girl's James D'Arcy, and Never Let Me Go's Andrea Riseborough. Here's what Madonna had to say about the distribution deal:

Yes, even house arrest can't stop Hollywood's favorite wild child from partying! On the 18th of her 35 days under house arrest, Lindsay Lohan threw a rooftop BBQ with her friends at her Venice beach home on Sunday afternoon. Mostly fellas were in attendance, while LiLo paid special attention to one in particular. She greeted the mystery man with a hug upon his arrival, then later laid down on his lap. Reports say about 10 La Lohan peeps were in attendance with plenty of drinks being served, which we certainly hope were ONLY for her guests! Lindsay will not undergo blood or alcohol testing, but we hope she stays strong and stays sober for her own good! She's got too much to look forward to after her stint at We expect her star to be back on the rise after all of this is behind her! Do U think Lindsay was drinking at her party or just having some harmless fun with her friends? |

Do you really need another reason to love Adele? Probably not, but we're about to give you another one. The amazing singer, having come from a tough upbringing herself, has been giving away money to family, friends, and charity ever since it started coming in!
Awww, that's fantastic! So touching. Not only does she give away money here and there, her plans for when it really starts pouring in revolve around taking a break and not keeping a staff to help her out with much of anything — she'll be doing her own laundry and cleaning the place on her own:

Check out two new clips from the upcoming romantic comedy, Monte Carlo, which stars our beloved Selena Gomez, Leighton Meester, and Katie Cassidy as three American girls on vacation in Europe who pose as wealthy socialites in Monaco (above)! Check out the video (above) in which brave mother Eva Ottosson speaks about her plans to have her womb transplanted into her daughter. If successful, Eva will become the first woman in the world to ever have a working womb transplanted into someone else's body. We've heard that this procedure has happened once before, but unfortunately the womb didn't take. We wish Eva and her daughter the best of luck! We'll be crossing our fingers, legs, toes, etc that the transplant is a success! What do u think about this? Would U give up your womb so a loved one could have a baby? |

Although Cheryl Cole has apparently cut all ties with Simon Cowell after her firing from the judges panel of the US version of The X Factor, she reached out to her former co-judge, Paula Abdul, by sending her flowers! Hopefully she can get all this worked out! She's gotta be SO burnt out on legal drama by this point! Back in April 2010, Lindsay Lohan settled a lawsuit with photographer Scott Nathan over claims that she owed him $$$ for promo pics taken for Lindz's 6126 fashion line. Looks like Lindsay didn't hold up her end of the settlement, because last week, Nathan filed court docs claiming that he hasn't received payments which were supposed to begin in March. He wants a judge to force Lindsay to pay up. A little low on cash, Lindz? Maybe instead of cash payments, you can invite Scott over for one of your House Arrest sleepovers! Who WOULDN'T say yes to pillow fights, VIRGIN margaritas, and board games?!?!? Invite us too, Lindsay! Let's get a mean game of Scattergories going on. Ha!
