Kim Kardashian reshot scenes to make herself look religious & impress Tebow

Posted: 08 Feb 2012 09:25 AM PST

You know, I’m really starting to feel sorry for Tim Tebow. Not only has the guy dealt with Katy Perry’s parents trying to set him up with their daughter, but he’s had to suffer through Perry dedicating lewd song lyrics to him about his “Peacock.” In addition, Tebow has been fending off the advances of Kim Kardashian, which he politely declined, but she hasn’t gotten the message. Everyone knows that Kim — with her sex tape, Playboy spread, and two divorces — has no business trying to get into Tebow’s pants; well, everyone knows except for Kim herself.

Even though she reportedly has sworn off football players, Kim hasn’t given up on bagging Tim, and his resistance has seemingly only stoked her desire to get in his good graces. Now she’s walking around wearing cross necklaces, Tweeting about starting a bible study group, and doing the church-buddy thing with LeAnn Rimes. It’s so transparent, but she really believes that Tim (and the rest of us) are stupid enough to believe her act. Now this week’s issue of OK! is all about Kim “pray[ing] for a chance” with Tebow, whom she’s been targeting for months, and she even went so far as to reshoot some later episodes of “Kourtney & Kim Take New York” to highlight her (fake ass) religious values and pious nature. Really.

How many times have we seen it happen? In the wake of a cataclysmic event, somebody gets religious. And so it seemed (to some skeptics, at least) with Kim Kardashian. The reality diva’s disastrous 72-day marriage to basketballer Kris Humphries unleashed a tsunami of bad press — chiefly, she was accused of weddng Kris for commercial reasons — and seemed to damage her brand.

And now, Kim is firing off Tweets like this one: “On my way to church with the girls!” she said to her almost 13 million followers. “I want to start a Bible study group with my friends!”

Inspiring, isn’t it? Except that some insiders say Kim’s sudden display of piety may have an ulterior motive: that the sex-tape icon, 31, is trying to sack Tim Tebow, the super-religious Denver Broncos quarterback — you know the guy who kneels and prays on the field — and self-proclaimed 24-year-old virgin.

“Anyone who knows Kim knows what she’s up to,” a source tells OK!. “She thinks Tim’s hot and she knows dating him would really boost her image. And Kim could really use some help in that department.”

Kimbow? Tardashian? Clearly Kim has a thing for sports stars; aside from Kris there was her great love, NFL star Reggie Bush. But hooking innocent Tim requires more than the standard play.

“If he were just the average athlete, Kim would pull the same move she used on Kris,” the first source tells OK!, adding, get front-row seats to his game and send a message to the locker room with her number. But Tim’s different. She can’t just use her sexuality.”

And so Kim called on a higher power. “She set her sights on Tim months ago,” the source says. “She shot extra scenes for ‘Kourtney & Kim Take New York,’ making sure she emphasized her Christian beliefs.

Another insider who’s close to Kim isn’t so cynical, arguing that her spiritual side is — ahem — well developed and that it plays into her attraction to Tim.

“Kim thinks Tim is a dream,” the insider tells OK!. “She appreciates his courage to weather criticism about being publicly religious. So I think Kim is inspired by that act of bravery. As for the bible study, that’s nothing new,” the insider adds. “Her family was very committed to their spiritual ideas — very Catholic.”

Ah, but will it be enough? “Kim’s not Tim’s type at all,” a Tim insider tells OK!. “He likes down-to-earth girls who aren’t high maintenance. And the sex tape is the type of thing that grosses him out.”

Still, you can’t completely count Kim out. Says the source: “When she decides she wants someone, she goes out and gets him.”

[From OK!, print edition, February 20, 2012]

This story is completely believable. Kim’s already been busted reshooting scenes of “Kourtney & Kim” to make herself look more sympathetic while pretending to agonize over the decision to divorce Kris Humphries. Also, that unnamed source who insists that Kim and her family are incredibly spiritual and devout Catholic? To state the obvious, that sounds a lot like a source named “Kris Jenner.” We all know how Kris dreams of controlling the tabloids, right? The really funny thing about Kim’s obvious maneuver is that she assumes that Tim would even watch her show in the first place.

OK!: Sandra Bullock has a new producer boyfriend, he’s Ryan Reynolds’ best friend

Posted: 08 Feb 2012 09:12 AM PST

After Sandra Bullock went through all that heartbreak with Jesse James (and arguably Ryan Reynolds, many people didn’t buy them as a romantic couple, but I did!) a lot of us were rooting for her to find a decent non-douchebag non-famous type. If this latest report is accurate that may have happened for her, hooray! OK! is claiming that Sandra has found love in the arms of a producer named Jonathan Komack Martin. Bullock’s rep issued a surprisingly specific denial that the two have been “best friends for 15 years” and that “he co-produced the ‘George Lopez’ show with her and is part of her and her son’s life. He is Ryan Reynolds’ producing partner and they are all very good friends. In addition, the recent photo of them was taken after being followed for two and a half hours to Palm Springs for a memorial.” So he’s just her buddy and they’ve been friends for over a decade, or did it recently develop into something more? Does the guy play for the other team? I’m getting that impression from the rep’s statement. Here’s more, thanks to Hollywood Life.

Is there a love triangle between Sandra, Ryan, and his BFF Jonathon? An insider says that she's definitely moved on from Ryan and that she's getting her mojo back by spending lots of time with the 'new' guy!

Sandra Bullock, 47, has a new lease on life — not only because she's mom to son Louis, but also because she's found someone who treats her right and makes her laugh, reports OK! Magazine.

On Jan. 22, Sandy and Ryan Reynolds's BFF, Jonathon Komack Martin, were snapped stepping out of a white Porsche to attend a private party in L.A. An insider says that Jonathon was "very attentive" and "didn't leave her side all afternoon."

So who's this "new" guy?

From what we know, Jonathon's the son of a TV sitcom producer and a successful Hollywood producer himself. And he's actually not really new to the Oscar-winning actress; in fact, they were introduced 15 years ago and even co-produced together on the George Lopez show.

But whatever Sandy's true feelings are towards him, her lips are zipped.

"She's being extremely secretive, though, which is typical," says the insider. "Even when probed, she won't reveal much more than saying what a great guy Jonathon is."

So how does Ry-Ry, 35, feel about his producer friend being stuck to the hip with his former rumored gf? "Ryan isn't annoyed or angry about Sandy spending so much time with Jonathon, but it's a surprise to him," reveals the insider.

Unlike Ryan, who's been busy dating 24-year-old Blake Lively, Jonathon's been a dependable companion for Sandy to lean on.

"She's been pretty down for months. But these days, there seems to be a spring in her step," explains the insider who feels Jonathon's kept her smiling. "Sandra can trust Jonathon and right now that's what she needs most. She's just been so let down in the past, she really needs a good guy who can be there for her."

[Details from OK!, writeup by Hollywood Life]

I so want this to happen for Sandy, but it sounds like all they’ve got is the detail that this guy attended a party with her and was by her side, which was explained away in detail by the rep. Who knows what’s true or if OK! is only going by the paparazzi photos and doesn’t have any other source. I like that she’s got her private life on lockdown, and I like that she hasn’t jumped into another relationship and is focusing on being a mom. I don’t think there’s much to this story, but I would be happy if I’m wrong. Sandy deserves some good lovin’ and I still find her awesome. JJ didn’t taint her in my eyes.

Jonathon Komack Martin and Sandra Bullock are shown on 8-1-11 at the premiere of The Change Up. She’s also shown at the same premiere with Ryan Reynolds. Sandra and her son Louis are shown today in LA, where she was taking him to school. Credit: WENN.com

Scarlett Johansson, Democrat, worries about Rick Santorum’s sweater vests

Posted: 08 Feb 2012 08:49 AM PST

These are some new photos of Scarlett Johansson out in NYC last night with her brother Hunter. Hunter was her date for Runway To Win Launch fundraiser for Pres. Obama. Lots of fashion designers and Vogue people were at the event, but ScarJo was one of the few actresses. So she ended up getting a lot of face time with the media outlets covering the event, and she ended up sounding extremely vapid. Like, I understand that she was at a political fundraiser, and I'm not hating on her because she's a staunch Democrat – those are my politics too! But I'm so wary of celebrities pontificating out of their ass about anything political, and I don't think ScarJo is the brightest or the most eloquent of the Democrat celebrities, you know?

So, first off, Us Weekly had a story about Scarlett getting on her high horse about how she's NOT going to go to fashion shows this year. She told Us Weekly, "You won’t see me at any fashion shows, I prefer to be much more low key. I just remembered it was that time of the year, I’ll need to stay away from Lincoln Center." Girl, you're at a fundraiser thrown by VOGUE. You're also a "model" more than an actress, with several high-profile endorsement deals, several of them with fashion houses. Stop acting like you're so "above" fashion.

The next fumble – Scarlett was asked about Pres. Obama and Michelle Obama's style, and she said, "They’re both so stylish and they both have this casual, cool style that’s personal to them. They’re a really fashionable couple.” When asked about the Republicans fighting it out for their party's nomination, Scarlett chose to discuss Rick Santorum… and his sweater vests. She said: “Oh gosh, so sad. My dad wore them and I mean they’re charming for family photos I guess and dinner with the grandparents. I think there’s an ironic way to wear a sweater vest but other than that I’m not sure.” So, Scarlett Johansson, self-appointed political advocate, can only discuss the president's style, and the style of one of the Republicans. Because Santorum's sweater vests are what's disturbing, right? Not his agenda. It's all about the vests. And remember, Scarlett's so ABOVE fashion too.

And finally, when she was told that Republicans were criticizing the Vogue fundraiser as "elitist," ScarJo replied, "Why would they say that? They are all so unfashionable. Let them say what they want!” She brought it back around to fashion. How vapid is this girl?

Gisele “Yoko” Bundchen is also hated by the Patriots’ WAGs

Posted: 08 Feb 2012 08:21 AM PST

I am not a sports person. I am a celebrity-gossip person. I will sit with you and talk about C-list celebrity famewhores for literally HOURS. If you try to talk to me about sports, my eyes will glaze over and I'll start daydreaming about kittens. I'm just putting that out there, because I think my anti-sports bias is affecting the way I'm reacting to the ongoing Gisele Bundchen controversy.

To recap, shortly after the New England Patriots lost the Super Bowl, Gisele was walking with friends and she got heckled by a Giants fan. Gisele lost her temper, and she said to her friend,"You have to catch the ball when you're supposed to catch the ball… My husband can not f****ing throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time. I can't believe they dropped the ball so many times." She was caught on camera making this aside to a friend, and it's debatable as to whether Gisele cared that the camera caught her words. What's clear is that in Gisele's mind, her husband's teammates were the ones who screwed up, not Tom. It was a bitchy thing for Gis to say, but in the grand scheme of dumb, sanctimonious, Goop-tastic crap that has come out of Gisele's mouth, her Super Bowl comments didn't even make my top ten.

Now, hours after Gisele made those comments, someone Patriots-related leaked to TMZ that Tom's teammates "felt betrayed" by Gisele. And more people are starting to line up to complain about Gis.

Gisele Bundchen's angry dissing of hubby Tom Brady's New England Patriots teammates — as she exited the Super Bowl on Sunday night — has unveiled long-held negative feelings about the supermodel.

Other players' wives and members of the Patriots' organization gave me an earful Monday as Bundchen's comments went viral.

Reportedly egged on by a New York Giants fan who made a mocking remark to Bundchen on her way out of Lucas Oil Stadium, the Brazilian beauty said, "My husband cannot f – - – - – - throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time. I can't believe they dropped the ball so many times."

A veteran team staffer said: "Gisele may have had a point, but she should have left it to the sportswriters and other Monday morning quarterbacks. . . . She already is not liked by many players and their wives due to her arrogant attitude. . . . This sure won't help improve things."

Proof of that came from the wife of a Brady teammate who told me Monday, "Gisele has very few friends among the wives. Of course, many are jealous of her looks and all that, but she doesn't make it easy to like her — since she obviously feels so superior to all of us."

Another source — close to a lot of the Patriots' wives — told me, "Gisele is . . . so stuck up and treats them all like yahoos. . . . In many cases, the other wives are not all that sophisticated, but Gisele has been openly snotty to several of them — making cracks about how they dress and use too much makeup. Stuff like that."

Apparently, when Brady himself heard about his wife's crack, he hit the ceiling — realizing how awkward that comment would make it for him to deal with his fellow Patriots.

[From The Chicago Sun-Times]

I’ve referred to Gisele as “The Brazilian Gwyneth” before, but Goop’s bad press is never THIS bad. Usually when peasants line up to tell stories about Gwyneth, it’s surprisingly nice. Why is Gisele so hated? Is it because she’s really not a nice person? Is it jealousy? I don’t know.

It's gotten so bad that reporters are now asking GIANTS what they think about Gis's comments. Osi Umenyiora told reporters, "I mean, that is her husband. She is supposed to stay out of things like that but at the end of the day, that is their relationship and she has the right to say whatever she wants to.” When Osi was asked if a teammate should have to apologize for a mouthy wife, he said, “Nah, she shouldn't. Listen man, we just won the Super Bowl. We are not saying nothing about no one, whatever her name is.” Whatever her name is! Take that, Gis. However, Giant Brandon Jacobs told reporters, “She just needs to continue to be cute and shut up." Ugh. That quote makes me Team Gis.

Oh, and people are starting to refer to Gisele as Yoko – I mean, I guess that just started recently? Gisele is the "Yoko" of the Pats? That one might fit, actually. And even though the video of Gis's dis got played on a loop, there's also video of her telling Tom after the game, "You played the best game of your life … you were amazing."

Is it wrong that I still think this a tempest in a teapot? Yeah, it sucks for Tom and his relationship with his teammates, but why is everyone else getting so upset about it?

Connor Cruise apologizes for his homophobic rant post-Patriots loss

Posted: 08 Feb 2012 08:20 AM PST

One of the Tom Cruise stories that has always stuck with me is Bronson Pinchot's assessment of Cruise as a young man, when they worked together on Risky Business. In a 2009 tell-all interview with The AV Club, Pinchot described a 20-year-old Tom Cruise this way:

"He was tense and made constant, constant unrelated homophobic comments, like, 'You want some ice cream, in case there are no gay people there?' I mean, his lingo was larded with the most… There was no basis for it. It was like, 'It's a nice day, I'm glad there are no gay people standing here.' Very, very strange."

[Via previous Celebitchy story]

I was reminded of that story this morning because Page Six has a very interesting piece about Tom's son Connor. Connor is 17 years old, and I have mixed feeling about Connor being the subject of this gossip piece, but in my defense, Connor seems to want to be a public figure – he's using his Hollywood connections to launch himself as a DJ. Anyway, Connor is a Patriots fan, and his rep, Todd Krim, is not. When the Pats lost, Krim sent his client a playfully gloating text. And Connor responded with a homophobic hissy fit.

Gisele Bundchen isn't the only sore loser left cursing after the New England Patriots' crushing loss at the hands of the Giants. Connor Cruise — a die-hard Patriots fan and the DJ son of Tom Cruise — lashed out at one of his reps, Todd Krim, who tweeted after the game, "Sorry @TheConnorCruise maybe next year!!!"

According to an e-mail forwarded to publicists by Krim, Cruise, 17, texted him back, saying, "That was a gay ass [bleeping] tweet . . . U don't say [bleep] like that about my team the second they lose. Low."

When Krim — who heads entertainment/ charity Web site Give Back Hollywood and helped book DJ gigs for Cruise — wrote back, "Umm ok . . . Dude I was [bleeping] joking," Cruise responded, "That was [bleeped]" and "Idgaf" ("I don't give a [bleep])."

Cruise and Krim were both in Indy where Cruise DJed DirecTV's Saturday night party. Krim says the Twitter tantrum ended their professional relations, while sources close to Cruise say they'd parted ways weeks ago.

On Monday, Krim e-mailed colleagues with a screen grab of Cruise's texts, saying, "I am no longer working with Connor Cruise. In fact, I am no longer speaking with [him] . . . I refuse to be professionally (or even personally) associated with someone that engages in this sort of behavior . . . I just thought you should know who and what you're dealing with."

He called Cruise's comments, "highly offensive and what I consider homophobic . . . after I jokingly tweeted about the Patriots losing."

Krim told us, "I did a lot for [Connor], and he was less than respectful and appreciative… I made a joke, and let's just say his reaction was not what I expected. It's disappointing when you think someone is one way and they turn out to be another."

Cruise told Page Six through his rep: "What I texted was unacceptable. It is not a reflection of who I am and what I feel, and it certainly won't happen again."

[From Page Six]

It sounds like the Cruise camp has mixed feelings about how to handle this – Connor apologized through his reps, and yet this line is still included: "Krim says the Twitter tantrum ended their professional relations, while sources close to Cruise say they'd parted ways weeks ago." That's a classic "this dude has an axe to grind, that's why he's making up this story" tactic. With Connor's apology, it looks like Krim's account is likely pretty accurate. So that means Connor is a chip off the old block, right?

Madonna is pissed off at M.I.A. for stealing focus during the half-time show

Posted: 08 Feb 2012 07:21 AM PST

I still don't know why people are so upset about M.I.A.'s bird-flipping at the Super Bowl Half-Time show. It was JUST a middle finger. Yes, it revealed to the world that M.I.A. is an immature person, but I don't get the hand-wringing. One of the unfortunate side effects of the M.I.A. controversy is that it became the "topic" when discussing Madonna's performance. People were no longer talking about how well or how badly Madge did, they were only talking about MIA's middle finger. And Madonna won't stand for that! She will not be ignored.

MADONNA is livid after British rapper M.I.A upstaged her at the Super Bowl by flicking a middle finger and swearing. Madonna, 53, had no idea M.I.A, 36, was going to make the obscene gesture while singing the line: “I don’t give a s***”.

The Queen of Pop had invited her on stage as a guest vocalist at the family American football event — the most watched programme in US history with 111.3 million American viewers.

A source said: “Madonna wasn’t impressed. She prides herself on professionalism. M.I.A did nothing similar in rehearsals. Nobody knew she was going to pull this stunt. Madonna wanted to put on a world-beating performance. But everyone ended up talking about this girl’s middle finger.”

M.I.A, of Mitcham, South London — famous for her hit Paper Planes — was singing on the track Give Me All Your Luvin’, off Madge’s new album MDNA at the Indianapolis show.

A source close to M.I.A — real name Mathangi Arulpragasam, blamed the finger gesture — on “adrenaline”. The source said: “She wasn’t thinking. She was caught in the moment and she’s incredibly sorry.”

M.I.A could be hit with a huge fine, because artists are said to sign a liability clause with TV network NBC.

Powerful watchdog The Parents Television Council called Sunday’s gesture the “selfish act of a desperate performer”.

Chief Tim Winter said: “M.I.A used a finger shamelessly to bring attention to herself, effectively telling an audience filled with children, ‘**** you.’ “

[From The Sun]

Ugh, it was JUST A MIDDLE FINGER. Calm down. Kids see worse crap all the time, and if I was a parent, I think I would have been more peeved with Madonna's grandma-hip-thrusts.

In other M.I.A. news that possibly only interests me, she and her billionaire baby-daddy have split, according to the NYDN. MIA was with Benjamin Bronfman, son of Edgar Bronfman Jr., for years, and they're now living in separate cities – she’s in London and he’s in NYC. Apparently, Benjamin is pretty much raising their son Ikhyd on his own – sources claim MIA "sometimes goes six weeks without seeing" Ikhyd.

Russell Brand refuses to take a cent of Katy Perry’s money in the divorce

Posted: 08 Feb 2012 07:02 AM PST

Finally, here are some photos of Katy Perry at that DirectTV party where she sang about wanting to rip off Tim Tebow’s pants and check out his “Peacock.” Then after the Super Bowl, Katy reportedly partied until 3 a.m. at the Giants bash. She’s always “partying.” I can’t really even identify with that word since these days, and I haven’t done so since my early 20s. It’s a strange word, for I remember shouting the words to Beastie Boys “Fight For Your Right” as a tween while my (mildly overprotective) dad grew worried. He said something along the lines of “Do you know what ‘partying’ even means? It means having sexual relations with complete strangers.” Yeah, I stopped singing the song aloud after that little discussion.

Anyway, Katy’s been partying her ass off and leaving the finer (or possibly all of the) details of her divorce to estranged husband Russell Brand and his attorneys. While she certainly can’t be enjoying the dissolution of her marriage, it looks like she’s got nothing to worry about in the financial department. Russell doesn’t want a scrap of Katy’s money even though he’s entitled to plenty of it under California law:

Russell Brand is entitled to approximately $20 million of Katy Perry’s fortune … but TMZ has learned he will not take a single penny of it.

Russell’s lawyer filed final divorce papers Tuesday … although the judge will make the divorce official on June 30, because there’s a 6 month waiting period.

Informed sources tell TMZ … Russell and Katy did NOT have a prenup. As a result, everything they earned during their 14-month marriage is community property — which means they’re each entitled to 50% of the pot.

Katy made $44 million between May, 2010 and May, 2011 — according to Forbes. The couple Married in October, 2010, so Russell could have scored a fortune if he exercised his community property rights.

But here’s the deal. As one source put it, “This divorce is as amicable as it gets, and Russell was a mensch (Yiddish for a good person).” He doesn’t want Katy’s money. He’s happy to walk away with the money he earned — which is far less than what Katy raked in.

[From TMZ]

This is a smart move on Russell’s part, and I imagine that Russell did so for reasons that are threefold: (1) He has enough money of his own; (2) He just wants out of the marriage and won’t stick around arguing for a moment longer than necessary; (3) He’s thinking about his image. And even if his career hits the skids and he runs out of money, there’s always money to be made by selling out his marriage secrets in Booky Wook 3, right?

Meanwhile, Russell’s been stalking the streets of Los Angeles alone. While various insiders claim that he’s shagging other chicks and wants to get with Zooey Deschanel, he’s putting forth the appearance of getting back to work. For all the public knows, his only downtime consists of playing a few games of pool with the guys. Oh, and wearing more scarves.

Adele: “I’ve never wanted to look like models on the cover of magazines”

Posted: 08 Feb 2012 06:48 AM PST

I can't believe People Magazine finally put Adele on the cover! At long last. I wonder why it's happening now? Oh, derp – it just occurred to me, it's probably because of the Grammys this weekend, right? Adele is expected to sweep up, as she should, and she's going to perform too – it will be her first performance since her throat surgery. So People Mag wants to get in there first with a human-interest piece about Adele's health and her maybe-married boyfriend Simon. Here's what People Mag has released:

With the Grammys right around the corner, everyone is talking about Adele. The singer’s eagerly awaited return to the stage on Feb. 12 will mark her first public performance since vocal cord surgery in November. The British pop star, 23, is also a favorite to sweep the six categories for which she is nominated, including album of the year for 21.

But in this week’s cover story, PEOPLE goes inside Adele’s private world, chronicling how she triumphed over the heartbreak that inspired her emotional songs, a broken home and almost losing her voice.

“She got to where she is through sheer hard work,” says Arthur Boulton, her teacher at London’s BRIT School.

She also succeeded by being true to herself. While Karl Lagerfeld recently called the singer “a little too fat,” Adele has always embraced her curves, and seems determined not to bend to body bullies.

“I’ve never wanted to look like models on the cover of magazines,” she says. “I represent the majority of women and I’m very proud of that.”

For more on Adele’s childhood in a rough London neighborhood, her vocal cord crisis – and her boyfriend Simon Konecki – pick up the new issue of PEOPLE, on newsstands Friday

[From People]

It's true that Adele never seems to shame-spiral about her weight, and she owns her body admirably (at least, in my opinion – I admire her). I wonder if she was even offended by Karl Lagerfeld's "she's a little too fat" comments? Hopefully she just laughed them off and poured herself another drink.

God, I hope Adele wins big at the Grammys. I hope Beyonce and her horrible album get SHUT OUT.

Charlize Theron is Chelsea Handler’s latest drinking buddy, ugh

Posted: 08 Feb 2012 05:50 AM PST

This story upsets me. You know how little I think of Chelsea Handler, and how little I think of people who associate with Chelsea. She's a drunken vortex of Anti-Talent. In the past few years, Chelsea has gotten her vodka-soaked hooks in Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon – Chelsea and Reese actually worked together in This Means War, with Chelsea’s presence pretty much ruining the trailer (and I would imagine the film as well). So with Reese now infected with L'Handler, and Aniston fully committed to her new BFF/drinking buddy (where is Courteney Cox, by the way?), it seems like Chelsea is still looking to pull more A-listers to The Drunk Side. Her latest victim? Charlize Theron. Nooooooo.

Chelsea Handler is quickly becoming every It Girl’s new BFF. The 36-year-old Chelsea Lately host joined Jennifer Aniston, 42, and Justin Theroux, 40, for dinner at the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood Thursday, Us Weekly can exclusively confirm.

Shortly after Handler’s arrival, Oscar winner Charlize Theron joined the three stars at their table. “Jen was absolutely cracking up at Chelsea telling a story,” an eyewitness tells Us. “She was clapping her hands and laughing loud enough for the whole restaurant to notice.”

Once Aniston and Theroux took off, Theron, 36, and Handler decided to polish off a few more drinks. “They stayed for about another hour,” according to the eyewitness.

Theron and Handler hit it off so well that the E! comedienne invited the Young Adult star over to her $6 million house in the Holmby Hills area of Bel Air, Calif. for a Super Bowl party on Sunday.

“Charlize and a girlfriend stopped by Gil Turner’s liquor store on the way to the party. They got a big box of Dogfish Head Ale, glasses and two bottles of Belvedere Vodka,” an eyewitness says. “Charlize had so much alcohol to carry, she could barely make it up the driveway!”

Other guests at Handler’s bash included Jenny McCarthy and Chelsea Lately staff members Josh Wolf, Sarah Colonna and Chuy Bravo.

“We started drinking at 3:00 and then it just kept going. By 11:00 I couldn’t even see straight!” Handler recalled on Chelsea Lately Monday. “There was so much food at my house because my brother Roy thinks he’s a chef, and on top of that, people brought food.”

“I never eat when I have people over because I like to entertain and I like to say hello to everyone,” Handler added. “When everyone left I was like, ‘Get out those chicken wings! Get out all the leftovers now!’ Roy was like, ‘Calm down, you lunatic.’”

[From Us Weekly]

It sounds like this story is coming directly from Camp Handler – the reference to "Belvedere Vodka" is especially suspicious coming from an unnamed source. Isn't Chelsea's life pretty much sponsored by Belvedere Vodka? And Charlize just happened to pick up the same brand of vodka that Chelsea gets paid to endorse? Right. I believe that Charlize and Chelsea hung out, and I believe that Charlize is a good-time girl who likes to party. But I'd like to believe that Charlize is smart enough to realize that hanging out with Chelsea isn't helping her rep, you know?

Jennifer Garner: “I found divorce a crushing experience”

Posted: 08 Feb 2012 05:38 AM PST

Jennifer Garner is by outside appearances happily married to her husband of nearly seven years, Ben Affleck. She’s also very pregnant with her third child and is reportedly due in just a few short weeks. This is her second marriage, as she was married to Actor Scott Foley from 2000 to 2003. In a new interview with The Sun, Garner says that she found divorce “crushing” and suggests that she married too young. Outlets are focusing on her comments about divorce and marriage, but she does go into detail about her upbringing and how she got her start in acting, which you can read at the source.

Everyone reaches maturity at different times. I wish I’d known to wait for marriage until I was 30 or over.

I did marry in my twenties (to actor Scott Foley, whom she divorced eight years ago) and I found divorce a crushing experience.

I thought the divorce statistics would never apply to me. I was beyond heartbroken when they did. But I got up and got on with it. I also kept my belief in marriage.

I did not have a fairytale vision of the future but still believed I would find someone to commit to and raise kids with.

Ben is not only my husband, he has helped me in every way. He is the base of my life.

He is an incredibly loving and generous man. I expected he would be a great dad and he is. But what really surprised me was how, when something goes wrong, he is so much calmer than I am.

The great thing about growing older is that you do become more confident. If I have to dress up for something, I wear something true to myself, otherwise it feels like a costume. So my policy is to wear a dressed-up version of something I would normally wear.

I don’t dread it any more. It is a reality of the job. I always try to keep it simple. I love being the age that I am and am looking forward to being 40.

I have figured so much more out about life and feel the older women get, the more beautiful they get. We become ourselves — which is something you can’t teach anyone at 18.”

There’s been a lot of gossip that Garner isn’t exactly the faithful type. We’ve heard that she cheated on Foley with actor Michael Vartan from Alias, whom she hooked up with in 2003 either before or after her divorce. Then there were rumors that she was unfaithful to Vartan with Affleck, as she started dating Affleck in 2004 seemingly right around the time she split with Vartan. Whatever went on, at the least she was relationship hopping. She seems like the type of woman who feels that they need to be in a relationship all the time. She has that in common with Ben’s ex, Jennifer Lopez.

It is nice to hear Jennifer gush about Ben. They speak about each other sparingly but when they do you can tell that they have a lot of respect and love for each other. You do get the sense that they’ve weathered storms together like so many other couples, but that they’re in a good place now. Maybe she’s also telling us, in a roundabout way, that divorce is not an option for her again.

Here’s Garner out yesterday with her daughter Violet, 7. That girl is so adorable! She’s also shown the day before with daughter Seraphina, 3, equally adorable and sassy. Photo of her with Ben is from 1-9-12. Credit: Pablo/FameFlynet Pictures
